Description

lighting equipment

[0001] The present invention relates to a lighting device that is attached to a wall panel such as a ceiling.

[0002] Conventionally, lighting devices using thin, lightweight organic EL panels that emit light in a planar form as light-emitting panels have been known (for example, see Patent Document 1). The light-emitting panels in Patent Document 1 are laid out together with other light-emitting panels on an installation surface such as a ceiling, allowing the multiple light-emitting panels to function as a single light-emitting surface with a unified appearance.

[0003] Patent No. 6296772

[0004] Unlike point-emitting LEDs, typical organic EL panels have a rectangular light-emitting surface that has a specific direction, as in Patent Document 1. When an organic EL panel is used as a light-emitting panel and installed alongside other light-emitting panels as in Patent Document 1, if the light-emitting surface is tilted, the sense of unity with the other light-emitting panels is lost. Therefore, when installing light-emitting panels alongside each other, precise positioning of the mounting position of each light-emitting panel relative to the mounting surface is required.

[0005] SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a lighting device that allows the inclination of the light-emitting surface of the lighting panel to be easily adjusted while the lighting device is attached to a wall panel.

[0006] One aspect of the present invention for solving the above-mentioned problems is a lighting device that is attached by being partially embedded in a mounting through-hole of a wall panel, the lighting device comprising: a lighting panel; and a mounting bracket; the lighting panel having a panel main body having a light-emitting surface and a raised portion raised from the back surface of the panel main body; the mounting bracket having mounting claws, a surrounding portion that surrounds the raised portion, and a restricting portion that restricts movement of the lighting panel in a direction away from the wall panel; the mounting bracket can be inserted into the mounting through-hole and the mounting claws can be engaged with the back main surface of the wall panel and / or the inner wall surface of the mounting through-hole, thereby attaching the lighting panel to the wall panel; and the lighting panel can rotate circumferentially relative to the mounting bracket with the raised portion as a rotation axis when the lighting panel is attached to the wall panel.

[0007] According to this aspect, since the lighting panel can be rotated in the circumferential direction around the protruding portion as the rotation axis relative to the mounting bracket, the tilt of the light-emitting surface of the lighting panel can be easily adjusted even after it has been attached to the wall panel. Therefore, precise positioning is not required, and adjusting the tilt of the light-emitting surface is easier than with conventional methods.

[0008] In a preferred aspect, the protruding portion is loosely fitted into the surrounding portion.

[0009] According to this aspect, the protruding portion is fitted into the surrounding portion with some play, so that the lighting panel can be easily rotated relative to the mounting bracket.

[0010] A preferred aspect includes an angle limiting portion that limits the angle at which the lighting panel can be rotated relative to the mounting bracket.

[0011] According to this aspect, the lighting panel does not rotate too much relative to the mounting bracket, the angle can be easily adjusted, and it is easy to align it when placed next to other lighting devices.

[0012] In a preferred aspect, the rotatable angle of the lighting panel is within 10 degrees.

[0013] According to this aspect, since the light emitting surface can be slightly rotated, it is easier to fine-tune the inclination of the light emitting surface, and it is easier to align the light emitting surface with other lighting devices.

[0014] In a preferred aspect, the raised portion has a limiting groove on a side surface, both ends of the limiting groove in the extension direction are closed by restricting wall portions, and the mounting fixture has a convex portion inserted into the limiting groove.

[0015] According to this aspect, the protrusion of the mounting bracket abuts against the restriction wall, thereby restricting movement of the lighting panel in the extension direction of the restriction groove.

[0016] In a preferred aspect, the maximum length of the protruding portion in plan view is shorter than the maximum length of the surrounding portion and longer than the minimum length of the surrounding portion.

[0017] According to this aspect, the difference in shape between the raised portion and the surrounding portion prevents the lighting panel from rotating too much, making fine adjustments easy.

[0018] One aspect of the present invention is an illumination device that is attached by partially embedding it into a mounting through-hole of a wall panel, the illumination device comprising: an illumination panel; and a mounting bracket; the illumination panel having a panel main body having a light-emitting surface and a raised portion raised from the back surface of the panel main body; the mounting bracket having a surrounding portion that surrounds the raised portion and a restricting portion that restricts movement of the illumination panel in a direction away from the panel; the mounting bracket is inserted into the mounting through-hole to attach the illumination panel to the wall panel; and the illumination panel, with the illumination panel attached to the wall panel, is rotatable in a circumferential direction relative to the mounting bracket, with the raised portion serving as the axis of rotation.

[0019] According to this aspect, since the lighting panel can be rotated in the circumferential direction around the protruding portion as the rotation axis relative to the mounting bracket, the tilt of the light-emitting surface of the lighting panel can be easily adjusted even after it has been attached to the wall panel. Therefore, precise positioning is not required, and adjusting the tilt of the light-emitting surface is easier than with conventional methods.

[0020] The above aspects may be made dependent on each other, or some of the configurations may be quoted or substituted for each other, as long as they are included in the technical scope of the present invention.

[0021] According to the present invention, the inclination of the light-emitting surface of the lighting panel can be easily adjusted while the lighting panel is attached to the wall panel.

[0029] 5 and 6 , the annular rib 22 is a circular convex ridge extending so as to surround the periphery of the raised portion 11 when viewed from the back surface side, and protruding upward from the main panel 20. The annular rib 22 is a spacing maintaining member that maintains the spacing between the front main surface 103 of the wall panel 101 and the back surface 26 of the main panel 20 when the lighting device 1 is attached to the wall panel 101.

[0030] (Prominent Portion 11) As shown in Figures 5 and 6, the prominent portion 11 includes a prominent main body portion 50 (angle limiting portion), side prominences 51a and 51b, angle restricting portions 52 and 53 (angle limiting portions), and a support rib 55.

[0031] 7(a), the raised main body portion 50 has an oval outer shape when viewed from the back, with both ends in the radial direction (lateral direction X) of the imaginary perfect circle C1 being cut out. That is, as shown in Fig. 7(a), the outer peripheral surface of the raised main body portion 50 includes curved surface portions 60a, 60b having arc-shaped curved surfaces corresponding to the arc of the imaginary perfect circle C1, and flat surface portions 61a, 61b having rectangular flat surfaces corresponding to the chord of the imaginary perfect circle C1.

[0032] The side protrusions 51a, 51b are portions that protrude from the flat surfaces 61a, 61b of the protrusion main body 50 in the radial direction (horizontal direction X) of the imaginary perfect circle C1 and are provided with angle limiting grooves 62a, 62b (angle limiting portions, limiting grooves). The angle limiting grooves 62a, 62b limit the circumferential rotation angle of the lighting panel 2 relative to the mounting bracket 3, and are grooves that have a depth extending from the end faces of the side protrusions 51a, 51b in the protrusion direction (horizontal direction X) toward the center of the protrusion main body 50. The angle limiting grooves 62a, 62b extend along the radial direction of the imaginary perfect circle C1, and in this embodiment, extend in the vertical direction Y. As shown in FIG. 6 , both ends of the angle limiting grooves 62a, 62b in the extension direction are closed by restricting wall portions 63a, 63b. The width of the angle limiting grooves 62a, 62b is greater than the maximum diameter of the limiting protrusions 72a, 72b (see FIG. 7B), and is preferably 1.05 to 1.5 times the maximum diameter of the limiting protrusions 72a, 72b.

[0033] 5 and 6 , the angle restriction portions 52, 53 are ridge portions that protrude radially from the flat portions 61 a, 61 b and extend in the protruding direction (up-down direction Z). The angle restriction portion 52 is a restriction portion that restricts forward rotation of the lighting panel 2 by engaging with the mounting claws 71 a, 71 b of the mounting bracket 3. The angle restriction portion 53 is a restriction portion that restricts reverse rotation of the lighting panel 2 by engaging with the mounting claws 71 a, 71 b of the mounting bracket 3. The angle restriction portions 52, 53 also serve as support portions that support the surrounding portion 70 of the mounting bracket 3 from below.

[0034] 5 and 6, the support ribs 55 are provided on the curved surface portions 60a, 60b and are support portions that support the surrounding portion 70 of the mounting bracket 3 from below. As shown in Fig. 7, the support ribs 55 are convex portions that protrude from the curved surface portions 60a, 60b in the radial direction of the imaginary perfect circle C1 and extend in the protruding direction (up-down direction Z). Two support ribs 55 are provided on each of the curved surface portions 60a, 60b, and the support ribs 55 are spaced apart in the circumferential direction.

[0035] <Mounting bracket 3> As shown in Figures 5 and 7(b), the mounting bracket 3 has an enclosing portion 70 (angle limiting portion), mounting claws 71a, 71b, and restricting protrusions 72a, 72b (restricting portion, angle limiting portion, protrusion).

[0036] (Enclosing portion 70) The surrounding portion 70 is a cylindrical portion that surrounds the periphery of the raised portion 11 of the lighting panel 2, and is a plate-like body that is processed into a shape that follows the outer peripheral surface of the raised portion 11. As shown in Fig. 7(b) , when viewed from the back, the surrounding portion 70 has an oval inner peripheral surface and a shape in which both ends in the radial direction (lateral direction X) of the imaginary perfect circle C2 are cut out. That is, the surrounding portion 70 includes curved surface portions 80a, 80b that have arc-shaped curved surfaces corresponding to the arc of the imaginary perfect circle C2, and flat surface portions 81a, 81b that have rectangular flat surfaces corresponding to the chords, and an enclosed space 82 is formed that is surrounded by the curved surface portions 80a, 80b and the flat surface portions 81a, 81b. The opening area of the surrounding portion 70 when viewed from the underside is larger than the outer area of the raised main body portion 50, allowing the raised main body portion 50 to be inserted from below. The surrounding portion 70 has a maximum length longer than the maximum length of the raised portion 11 and a minimum length shorter than the minimum length of the raised portion 11.

[0037] (Mounting Claws 71a, 71b) The mounting claws 71a, 71b are leaf springs that are elastically deformable and engage with the rear main surface 105 of the wall panel 101 and / or the inner wall surface of the mounting through hole 102 of the wall panel 101 by their restoring force. The mounting claws 71a, 71b are plate-like portions that are connected to the flat surfaces 81a, 81b of the surrounding portion 70 and extend tongue-like from the flat surfaces 81a, 81b. As shown in FIG. 5 , the mounting claws 71a, 71b have an extension portion 85 and a folded-back portion 86. The extension portion 85 is a portion that extends downward from the flat surfaces 81a, 81b of the surrounding portion 70. The folded-back portion 86 is a portion folded back from the tip (lower end) of the extension portion 85 in the extension direction.

[0038] (Restricting protrusions 72a, 72b) The restricting protrusions 72a, 72b are restricting portions that restrict circumferential movement of the lighting panel 2 and movement of the lighting panel 2 in a direction away from each other in the up-down direction Z, and are protrusions that protrude inward from the extension portion 85 in the radial direction (lateral direction X) of the imaginary perfect circle C2 shown in FIG. 7(b). In this embodiment, the restricting protrusions 72a, 72b are formed by the shanks of fastening elements such as screws, and are non-destructively attachable to and detachable from the flat portions 61a, 61b. In other words, the mounting bracket 3 can be removed from the lighting panel 2 by unscrewing the fastening elements such as screws that constitute the restricting protrusions 72a, 72b.

[0039] <Wall Panel 101> The wall panel 101 is a decorative panel that forms the ceiling surface of the room 100, and is a plate-like panel having a front main surface 103 and a back main surface 105 as its two main surfaces, as shown in Figure 3. The wall panel 101 has a mounting through hole 102 that penetrates through the thickness direction. The mounting through hole 102 is an insertion hole into which a part of the lighting device 1 can be inserted, and has a circular opening shape. The diameter of the mounting through hole 102 is larger than the maximum diameter of the surrounding portion 70.

[0040] Next, the positional relationship between the various components of the lighting device 1 of this embodiment will be described.

[0041] As shown in Fig. 8 , in the lighting device 1, the raised portion 11 of the lighting panel 2 is inserted into the enclosed space 82 of the mounting bracket 3, and a gap is formed between the outer peripheral surface of the raised portion 11 of the lighting panel 2 and the inner wall portion of the enclosed portion 70 of the mounting bracket 3. In other words, the raised portion 11 of the lighting panel 2 is not tightly fitted into the enclosed portion 70 of the mounting bracket 3, but rather fits loosely into the enclosed portion 70 of the mounting bracket 3. As shown in Fig. 9 , the lighting panel 2 is rotatable in the circumferential direction with the raised portion 11 as the rotation axis relative to the mounting bracket 3. The rotatable angle of the lighting panel 2 is preferably within 10 degrees.

[0042] The restricting protrusions 72a, 72b of the lighting panel 2 are inserted into the angle limiting grooves 62a, 62b. That is, the restricting walls 63a, 63b of the angle limiting grooves 62a, 62b restrict the circumferential rotation of the lighting panel 2 to within the range in the extension direction of the angle limiting grooves 62a, 62b, and restrict the movement of the lighting panel 2 in the up-down direction Z to within the range in the width direction of the angle limiting grooves 62a, 62b.

[0043] 4 , the lighting panel 2 has the extensions 85, 85 of the mounting claws 71 a, 71 b disposed between the angle restriction portions 52, 53 of the raised portion 11. That is, the forward rotation of the lighting panel 2 is restricted by the angle restriction portion 52 of the raised portion 11 abutting against the extensions 85, 85 of the mounting claws 71 a, 71 b, and the reverse rotation is restricted by the angle restriction portion 53 of the raised portion 11 abutting against the extensions 85, 85 of the mounting claws 71 a, 71 b. The lighting panel 2 supports the surrounding portion 70 by the upper ends of the angle restriction portions 52, 53 and the upper ends of each support rib 55.

[0044] Next, the positional relationship of each part when the lighting device 1 of this embodiment is attached to the wall panel 101 will be described.

[0045] 8 , in the lighting device 1, the raised portion 11 of the lighting panel 2 and the surrounding portion 70 of the mounting bracket 3 are inserted into the mounting through-hole 102 of the wall panel 101 from the front main surface 103 toward the back main surface 105, and the folded portions 86 of the mounting claws 71 a, 71 b are bent toward the extension portions 85, and their restoring force presses against the inner wall surface of the mounting through-hole 102. In the lighting panel 2, the edge rib 21 and the annular rib 22 abut against the front main surface 103 of the wall panel 101, and a gap is formed between the front main surface 103 of the wall panel 101 and the back surface 26 of the main panel 20. The removal notches 32a, 32b are positioned opposite the folded portions 86 of the mounting claws 71a, 71b, and by checking the positions of the removal notches 32a, 32b, it is possible to check the current position of the mounting bracket 3 within the mounting through-hole 102.

[0046] According to the lighting device 1 of the first embodiment, the lighting panel 2, when attached to the wall panel 101, can rotate circumferentially with respect to the mounting bracket 3 around the protruding portion 11 as the rotation axis. This makes it easy to adjust the tilt of the light-emitting surface 25 of the lighting panel 2 even after it has been attached to the wall panel 101. For example, if the light-emitting surface 25 is tilted as shown in Fig. 9(a), the light-emitting surface 25 can be brought to the normal position as shown in Fig. 9(b) by rotating the lighting panel 2 in the direction of the arrow in Fig. 9(a). This eliminates the need for precise positioning, making it easier to adjust the tilt of the light-emitting surface 25 than in the past.

[0047] According to the lighting device 1 of the first embodiment, the raised portion 11 is loosely fitted into the surrounding portion 70, and is fitted into the surrounding portion 70 with some play, making it easy to rotate the lighting panel 2 circumferentially relative to the mounting bracket 3.

[0048] According to the lighting device 1 of the first embodiment, the angle of rotation of the lighting panel 2 is limited by the angle regulating portions 52, 53 of the raised portion 11 abutting against the extension portions 85, 85 of the mounting claws 71a, 71b of the mounting bracket 3. This prevents the lighting panel 2 from rotating too much relative to the mounting bracket 3, facilitating angle adjustment and facilitating alignment when placed next to other lighting devices 1 as shown in Figure 1.

[0049] According to the lighting device 1 of the first embodiment, the rotation angle of the lighting panel 2 is within 10 degrees, and it can be rotated slightly, so that it is easier to fine-tune the inclination of the light-emitting surface 25 and it is easy to align it when placed next to other lighting devices 1 as shown in Figure 1.

[0050] According to the lighting device 1 of the first embodiment, the raised portion 11 of the lighting panel 2 has angle limiting grooves 62a, 62b provided on the side surface into which the regulating protrusions 72a, 72b of the mounting bracket 3 are inserted, and the regulating protrusions 72a, 72b abut against the regulating wall portions 63a, 63b of the angle limiting grooves 62a, 62b, thereby restricting the movement of the angle limiting grooves 62a, 62b of the lighting panel 2 in the extension direction, making fine adjustments easy.

[0051] According to the lighting device 1 of the first embodiment, the maximum length of the raised portion 11 when viewed in a plane is shorter than the maximum length of the surrounding portion 70 and longer than the minimum length of the surrounding portion 70, so that the lighting panel 2 does not rotate excessively due to the difference in shape between the raised portion 11 and the surrounding portion 70, and fine adjustments are easy.

[0052] In the above-described embodiment, the lighting panel 2 has one light-emitting region 27 on the light-emitting surface 25, but the present invention is not limited to this. The lighting panel 2 may have multiple light-emitting regions 27 on the light-emitting surface 25. For example, as shown in Fig. 10, when the lighting panel 2 has four light-emitting regions 27 on the light-emitting surface 25, the light-emitting regions 27 are preferably arranged in a grid pattern.

[0053] In the above-described embodiment, the main panel 20 of the lighting panel 2 is a rectangular plate-like body, but the present invention is not limited to this. The main panel 20 of the lighting panel 2 may have other shapes. For example, it may be a polygonal shape such as a triangular shape, a pentagonal shape, or a hexagonal shape, or it may be a shape with a different aspect ratio such as an elliptical shape.

[0054] In the above-described embodiment, the light-emitting region 27 of the lighting panel 2 has a shape similar to that of the main panel 20, but the present invention is not limited to this. The light-emitting region 27 of the lighting panel 2 may have a shape different from that of the main panel 20.

[0055] In the above embodiment, the lighting device 1 is fixed by the folded portions 86 of the mounting claws 71 a, 71 b of the mounting bracket 3 pressing against the inner wall surface of the mounting through hole 102 of the wall panel 101 with their elastic restoring force, but the present invention is not limited to this. The lighting device 1 may also be fixed by the folded portions 86 of the mounting claws 71 a, 71 b of the mounting bracket 3 pressing against the back main surface 105 of the wall panel 101 with their elastic restoring force.

[0056] In the above embodiment, the wall panel 101 constitutes the ceiling of the room 100, but the present invention is not limited to this. The wall panel 101 may constitute the wall or floor of the room 100. The wall panel 101 may also constitute a structure such as a desk.

[0057] In the above embodiment, the lighting device 1 is attached to the wall panel 101 by engaging the mounting claws 71 a, 71 with the wall panel 101, but the present invention is not limited to this. The lighting device 1 may be attached to the wall panel 101 by attaching the mounting bracket 3 to the wall panel 101 using another method.

[0058] In the above-described embodiment, an organic EL panel is used as the lighting panel 2, but the present invention is not limited to this. Other types of surface light-emitting panels may be used as the lighting panel 2. For example, a surface light-emitting panel in which LEDs are arranged in a planar shape may be used as the lighting panel 2.

[0059] In the above-described embodiments, each component can be freely substituted or added between the respective embodiments as long as it falls within the technical scope of the present invention.
