Abstract
Description
cover
[0001] The present disclosure relates to a cover for covering an object.
[0002] Covers that encase objects are provided not only to protect the object, but also to insulate noise generated by the object from the outside and suppress vibrations generated by the object. For example, Patent Document 1 discloses a device that covers noise-generating sources, such as industrial machinery, to prevent noise leakage. This noise prevention device prevents sound leakage to the outside by fastening a covering material, which is made of a waterproof or fireproof sheet with a sound-absorbing material attached to the backside, to required locations on the object using Velcro tape (hook-and-loop fasteners). In particular, this noise prevention device discloses an example in which the covering material has slits that allow it to be partially opened and closed, and the open / closed portion is normally secured with hook-and-loop fasteners. In this example, the open / closed portion can be opened to expose a portion of the object when necessary, allowing maintenance work, monitoring of instruments, and the like to be performed with the covering secured in place.
[0003] Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 53-74401
[0004] In the above example, depending on the exposed location and the shape of the opening / closing part, even if the opening / closing part is opened, it may return to its original closed state when the hand is released. In this case, the worker needs to work with only one hand while holding the opening / closing part with the other hand to prevent it from returning, which makes it difficult to work.
[0005] Therefore, the present disclosure aims to provide a cover that not only maintains the covering state of the object in an optimal state, but also allows inspection work, etc. of necessary areas to be carried out with good workability even while the object is still covered.
[0006] In order to achieve the above object, the present disclosure provides a cover including: a first cover body formed of an elastomer and having a first locking portion integrally formed on a first edge; and a second cover body formed of an elastomer and having a second locking portion integrally formed on a second edge opposite the first edge, the second locking portion being lockable with the first locking portion, wherein an object can be covered by the first cover body and the second cover body by locking the first locking portion with the second edge butting against each other, and the first cover body includes: a pair of first slits extending from the first edge in a direction intersecting the first edge; an opening locking portion integrally formed in an opening / closing region sandwiched between the pair of first slits; and a locked portion provided on the terminal end of the first slit, When the opening / closing region is folded back along the pair of first slits toward the end of the first slits and the opening locking portion is locked with the locked portion, the object can be partially exposed. Another aspect of the present disclosure is characterized in that, in the above configuration, the opening locking portion is an opening locking piece protruding in the opposite direction from the abutting direction from the first edge to the second edge, and the locked portion is a hole to which the opening locking piece can be locked. Another aspect of the present disclosure is characterized in that, in the above configuration, the opening locking piece has a groove formed between it and the opening / closing region, the hole is provided on an extension surface of the opening / closing region when the opening / closing region covers the object, and when the opening locking piece is inserted into the hole, the groove locks with the edge of the hole. Another aspect of the present disclosure is characterized in that, in the above configuration, the opening / closing region has a step portion protruding toward the surface side of the first cover body, and the opening locking piece is provided in the step portion. Another aspect of the present disclosure is characterized in that, in the above configuration, the hole is formed to a size that allows the step portion to be inserted into the opening / closing area in a folded state.
[0010] Another aspect of the present disclosure is characterized in that, in the above configuration, the pair of slits are formed on either side of the first locking portion, and the first locking portion, which is integral with the open / close region, also serves as the opening locking portion, and the locked portion is a locking hole into which the first locking portion can be inserted and locked when the open / close region is folded back toward the terminal end of the first slit.
[0011] Another aspect of the present disclosure is characterized in that, in the above configuration, a first sound-absorbing material made of foam resin is disposed on the inner surface of the first cover body, and a pair of second slits are formed in the first sound-absorbing material inside the open / close region, the second slits starting from an inner edge located on the first edge side and extending in a direction intersecting the first edge, and when the inner open / close region of the first sound-absorbing material sandwiched between the pair of second slits is folded back together with the open / close region along the pair of second slits toward the terminal end of the second slits, the object can be partially exposed, and when the open / close region covers the object, the pair of second slits are covered by the open / close region. Another aspect of the present disclosure is characterized in that, in the above configuration, the inner opening / closing region is fixed to the opening / closing region.
[0007] In the present disclosure, when the opening / closing region is folded back along the pair of first slits toward the end of the first slits and the opening locking portion is engaged with the locked portion, the object can be partially exposed. This configuration allows a simple structure to maintain the object in a covered state even when made of elastomer. Therefore, a highly reliable cover can be provided. On the other hand, by engaging the opening locking portion with the locked portion while the opening / closing region is folded back, the open state can be maintained without the operator having to hold the opening / closing region with their hands, allowing the object to be exposed with the cover attached. Therefore, inspection of necessary areas can be performed with good workability while the cover is still in a covered state. In another aspect of the present disclosure, the opening locking portion is an opening locking piece, and the locked portion is a hole through which the opening locking piece can be inserted. According to this aspect, the opening / closing region can be maintained in an open state with a simple structure in which the opening locking piece is inserted and engaged through the hole. In another aspect of the present disclosure, the opening locking piece has a groove formed between it and the opening / closing region, and when the opening locking piece is inserted into the hole, the groove locks with the edge of the hole. According to this aspect, the locking state between the opening locking piece and the hole is effectively maintained, making it difficult for the opening / closing region in the open state to unexpectedly return to the closed state. In another aspect of the present disclosure, the opening locking piece is provided on a stepped portion of the opening / closing region. According to this aspect, the stepped portion can be used to position the opening locking piece in a position that makes it easy to lock into the hole. According to another aspect of the present disclosure, the hole is formed with a size that allows the stepped portion to be inserted when the opening / closing region is folded back. According to this aspect, even if a stepped portion is formed in the opening / closing region, the opening / closing region can be folded back along the surface of the first cover body, making it less likely that the opening / closing region will interfere with work in the open state. According to another aspect of the present disclosure, a pair of slits are formed on either side of the first locking portion, and the first locking portion integrated with the opening / closing region also serves as the opening locking portion. The latched portion is a latch hole into which the first latch portion can be inserted and latched when the opening and closing region is folded back. According to this aspect, a rational configuration is achieved in which the first latch portion also serves as the opening latch portion. In another aspect of the present disclosure, a pair of second slits is formed in a first sound-absorbing material disposed on the inner surface of the first cover body, and when the inner open-close region sandwiched between the pair of second slits is folded back together with the open-close region toward the end of the second slit, the object can be partially exposed. When the open-close region is covering the object, the second slit is covered by the open-close region. According to this aspect, even if the first sound-absorbing material is disposed inside the first cover body, the object can be exposed by opening the inner open-close region. Furthermore, because the second slit is covered by the open-close region in the closed state, the object can be maintained in a covered state even if the first sound-absorbing material has a second slit, and foreign matter can be prevented from entering from the outside. In another aspect of the present disclosure, the inner open-close region is fixed to the open-close region. According to this aspect, the inner open-close region automatically follows the opening and closing operation of the open-close region, and the opening and closing operation of the open-close region can be performed without hindrance even when the inner open-close region is disposed.

[0009] Embodiments of the present disclosure will be described below with reference to the drawings. [Embodiment 1] Fig. 1 is a perspective view showing an example of a cover 1. Fig. 2 is a left side view of the cover 1. Fig. 3 is a plan view of the cover 1. Fig. 4 is an exploded perspective view of the cover 1 as viewed from above. Fig. 5 is an exploded perspective view of the cover 1 as viewed from below. In both figures, an opening / closing area 42 (described later) is in a closed state. For convenience, the upper side (first cover body 2 side) of Fig. 2 is referred to as the top, the lower side (second cover body 3 side) as the bottom, the left side of Fig. 2 is referred to as the front, the right side as the rear, the side shown in Fig. 2 is referred to as the left, and the opposite side is referred to as the right. The cover 1 has a rectangular parallelepiped shape as a whole. Both the front and rear ends of the rectangular parallelepiped are closed. The cover 1 is divided into two parts, upper and lower, approximately at the center in the vertical direction, and is formed by joining a box-shaped first cover body 2 and a box-shaped second cover body 3 face to face with each other.
[0010] The first cover body 2 is formed of an elastomer. The hardness of the elastomer is, for example, 90 to 95 Shore A hardness. A first sound-absorbing material 4 is integrally fixed to the entire inner surface of the first cover body 2. The first sound-absorbing material 4 is formed of urethane foam. Urethane foam is an example of a foamed resin in the present disclosure. The second cover body 3 is also formed of an elastomer. The hardness of the elastomer is, for example, 90 to 95 Shore A hardness. A second sound-absorbing material 5 made of urethane foam is also fixed to the entire inner surface of the second cover body 3. The cover 1 is used to cover an object M, shown by a two-dot chain line in Figures 6 and 7, to protect the object M and to insulate sound from the object M to the outside. The object M is, for example, a motor. When covering the object M, the first sound-absorbing material 4 and the second sound-absorbing material 5 elastically deform to hold the object M.
[0011] A first step portion 6 is formed on the left side surface 2a of the first cover body 2. The first step portion 6 is recessed from the front surface toward the back surface, so that the central and rear portions of the left side surface 2a are positioned more inward (rightward) than the front portion. The first step portion 6 extends downward from the upper end of the left side surface 2a, then bends rearward, extends parallel to the lower edge 7 of the first cover body 2, and then bends downward to reach the lower edge 7. An upper surface step portion 8 is formed on the upper surface 2b of the first cover body 2. The upper surface step portion 8 is also recessed from the front surface toward the back surface, so that the right rear portion of the upper surface 2b is positioned more inward (lower) than the front and left rear portions. The upper surface step portion 8 extends leftward from the right end of the upper surface 2b, then bends rearward and extends in the front-to-rear direction. However, the rear portion of the upper surface step portion 8 extending in the front-to-rear direction protrudes to the right of the front portion. A hole 9 that opens to the right is formed in the front portion of the top surface step portion 8. The hole 9 exposes the first sound-absorbing material 4. The top surface step portion 8 is an example of a step portion of the present disclosure. The hole 9 is an example of a locked portion of the present disclosure. A second step portion 10 is formed in the left side surface 3a of the second cover body 3. The rear portion of the second step portion 10 is positioned more inward (to the right) than the front portion of the left side surface 3a. The second step portion 10 extends downward in an extended manner from the end of the first step portion 6 that reaches the lower edge 7.
[0012] As shown in Figures 4 and 5, the first cover body 2 has a pair of front and rear first locking portions 20A, 20B integrally formed on the left and right sides of the lower edge 7. The first locking portions 20A, 20B are located at the same front and rear positions on the left and right sides, but on the left side surface 2a, the rear first locking portion 20B is located rearward of the first step portion 6. Therefore, the first locking portion 20B is located more to the right than the front first locking portion 20A in the left-right direction. The lower edge 7 is an example of a first edge of the present disclosure. The second cover body 3 has a pair of front and rear second locking portions 30A, 30B integrally formed on the left and right sides of the upper edge 11, respectively. The second locking portions 30A, 30B are positioned in the same front-to-rear positions on the left and right sides, but on the left side surface 3a, the rear second locking portion 30B is positioned rearward of the second step portion 10 and to the right of the front second locking portion 30A in the left-to-right direction. The upper edge 11 is an example of a second edge as defined herein. Therefore, when the lower edge 7 of the first cover body 2 and the upper edge 11 of the second cover body 3 are butted together, the first locking portions 20A, 20B and the second locking portions 30A, 30B face each other. The first cover body 2 and the second cover body 3 are coupled together by engaging the opposing first locking portions 20A, 20B and second locking portions 30A, 30B with each other.
[0013] The first locking portions 20A, 20B will be described in detail. The first locking portions 20A, 20B have the same structure and include a protruding piece 21 and a barbed piece 22. The protruding piece 21 is a strip-shaped piece that protrudes from the lower edge 7 of the first cover body 2 in the mating direction with the second locking portions 30A, 30B. The arrow T in Figures 4, 5, and 8 indicates the mating direction. The protruding piece 21 includes a base end 23 and a tip end 24. The base end 23 protrudes from the lower edge 7 in the mating direction T and is bent outward to the left and right. The tip end 24 protrudes in the mating direction T from the bent end of the base end 23. The tip end 24 includes a locking plate 25 and an insertion plate 26. The locking plate 25 is continuous with the bent end of the base end 23. The insertion plate 26 is continuous with the locking plate 25. 6 and 7, the insertion plate 26 is inclined at a predetermined angle outward to the left and right, intersecting with the butt-joint direction T, relative to the locking plate 25. Therefore, the insertion plate 26 protrudes in an inclined direction away from the first cover body 2 outward to the left and right as it moves toward the butt-joint direction T.
[0014] A plurality of ridges 27, 27... are formed on both sides of the insertion plate 26 in the thickness direction. The ridges 27 extend in the width direction of the insertion plate 26 and are formed at equal intervals in the protruding direction of the insertion plate 26. The barbed pieces 22 protrude from the outer surface of the protruding piece 21 between the base end 23 and the locking plate 25 in the opposite direction to the butting direction T. The formation of these barbed pieces 22 forms a locking groove 28 that penetrates the protruding piece 21 in the width direction between the base end 23 of the protruding piece 21 and the barbed piece 22. The locking groove 28 opens on the opposite side to the butting direction T.
[0015] The second locking portions 30A, 30B have the same structure and include a notch 31, a bridge portion 32, and protrusions 33, 33. The notch 31 is cut out from the upper edge 11 of the second cover body 3 toward the mating direction T. The bridge portion 32 extends in a strip shape along the upper edge 11 on the outside of the second cover body 3, straddling the notch 31. Therefore, an insertion hole 34 is formed inside the bridge portion 32, communicating with the notch 31 and extending along the upper edge 11. The length of this insertion hole 34 in the direction along the upper edge 11 is slightly longer than the width of the protruding piece 21 of the first locking portion 20A, 20B. The protrusions 33, 33 protrude outward from the outer surface of the bridge portion 32 on both sides of the notch 31. A head portion 35 protruding in the mating direction T is formed at the protruding end of each protrusion 33.
[0016] A pair of first slits 40, 40 are formed on the left side surface 2a of the first cover body 2, sandwiching the rear first locking portion 20B. The first slits 40, 40 begin at the lower edge 7 and extend upward along the left side surface 2a, continuing to circular terminal ends 41, 41 formed on the top surface 2b. The front first slit 40 crosses the intermediate portion 12 extending in the front-rear direction of the first step portion 6. Thus, an openable region 42 sandwiched between the first slits 40, 40 is formed on the first cover body 2. The first locking portion 20B is located rearward of the openable region 42 in the front-rear direction. In the openable region 42, an opening locking piece 13 is formed on the upper surface of the intermediate portion 12. The opening locking piece 13 is a plate extending in the left-right direction and is L-shaped in rear view, with the left side protruding upward. Therefore, a groove 14 is formed between the left side of the opening locking piece 13 and the opening / closing region 42. The opening locking piece 13 is an example of an opening locking portion of the present disclosure. On the upper surface 2b, the hole 9 of the upper surface step portion 8 is located on an extension of the opening / closing region 42 and on an extension of the opening locking piece 13. Inside the opening / closing region 42, parts that require maintenance, such as the terminal portion of the object M, are located.
[0017] The first sound-absorbing material 4 has an inner edge 43 extending along the inside of the lower edge 7 of the first cover body 2. A pair of second slits 45, 45 are formed in the first sound-absorbing material 4 on the inside of the left side surface 2a, sandwiching the rear first engaging portion 20B between them. As shown in FIG. 9 , the second slits 45, 45 are disposed between the first slits 40, 40 in the front-to-rear direction. The second slits 45, 45 begin at the inner edge 43 and extend upward, continuing to their inner ends on the top surface 2b. The ends of the second slits 45, 45 are located at approximately the same positions as the ends 41, 41 of the first slits 40, 40 in the left-to-right direction. Thus, an inner opening / closing region 46 is formed in the first sound-absorbing material 4, sandwiched between the second slits 45, 45 and integrated with the opening / closing region 42.
[0018] The opening / closing region 42 can be folded back toward the ends 41 of the first slits 40, 40 together with the inner opening / closing region 46 by lifting the lower edge 7 upward. This causes the opening / closing region 42 and the inner opening / closing region 46 to assume an open state, in which a portion of the cover 1 is open. Returning the opening / closing region 42 and the inner opening / closing region 46 to their original positions results in a closed state, in which the opening is closed. Because the front-to-rear spacing between the first slits 40, 40 is greater than the front-to-rear spacing between the second slits 45, 45, the opening / closing region 42 has outward protrusions 47, 47 that protrude outward from the inner opening / closing region 46. Conversely, the first sound-absorbing material 4 in front of and behind the second slits 45, 45 has inward protrusions 48, 48 that protrude inward from the opening / closing region 42. When the opening / closing region 42 is in the closed state, the outward protrusions 47, 47 overlap the outer sides of the inward protrusions 48, 48, and cover the outside of the second slits 45, 45. 6, 7, and 11, a locking claw 49 is formed facing downward on the inside of the lower end of the front outwardly extending portion 47 that forms the intermediate portion 12 of the first step portion 6. A locking hole 50 is formed in the bottom surface of a recess formed on the outside of the lower end of the front inwardly extending portion 48, into which the locking claw 49 is inserted and locked when the opening / closing region 42 is in the closed state. The locking claw 49 is engaged with the locking hole 50, thereby maintaining the closed state of the opening / closing region 42. The intermediate portion 12 is an example of a step portion that protrudes toward the surface side of the first cover of the present disclosure.
[0019] When using the cover 1 configured as described above, first, half of the object M is covered with either the first cover body 2 or the second cover body 3. In this state, the other of the first cover body 2 and the second cover body 3 is placed over the remaining half of the object M, and the opposing first locking portions 20A, 20B and second locking portions 30A, 30B are locked together. Specifically, the insertion plates 26 of the protruding pieces 21 of the first locking portions 20A, 20B are inserted into the insertion holes 34 of the bridge portions 32 of the second locking portions 30A, 30B, and the cover 1 is pulled in the butting direction T until the barbed pieces 22 pass through the bridge portions 32. Once the barbed pieces 22 pass through the bridge portions 32, the bridge portions 32 are elastically locked into the locking grooves 28. 8, the first locking portions 20A, 20B are locked to the second locking portions 30A, 30B so as to be prevented from coming off, and the object M is covered by the cover 1.
[0020] In this way, the bridge portion 32 elastically engages with the engagement groove 28, preventing the first engagement portions 20A, 20B from coming loose, reducing the risk of the engagement being accidentally released due to external impact, etc. In particular, the barb 22 is located on the outside of the bridge portion 32, making it even more difficult for the bridge portion 32 to come loose from the engagement groove 28. Note that a gap S (FIGS. 6 and 7) is formed between the first cover body 2 and the second cover body 3 when the object M is covered. Therefore, cables and the like connected to the object M can be pulled out through the gap S.
[0021] On the other hand, when removing the cover 1 from the object M, the insertion plates 26 of the protruding pieces 21 of the first locking portions 20A, 20B are grasped and pulled toward the second cover body 3, as shown by arrow a in FIG. 10 . This separates the locking grooves 28 from the bridge portion 32, thereby releasing the retaining mechanism. At this time, the protruding portions 33, 33 of the second locking portions 30A, 30B are tilted toward the first cover body 2 via the head portions 35, 35, as shown by arrow b. This causes the bridge portion 32 to elastically move toward the first cover body 2 along with the protruding portions 33, 33. This allows the bridge portion 32 to easily separate from the locking grooves 28. Once the locking grooves 28 are separated from the bridge portion 32, the base end portion 23 together with the barb 22 is passed through the insertion hole 34 from the inside of the bridge portion 32 and removed from the second locking portions 30A, 30B. Next, the tip portion 24 is also passed through the insertion hole 34 from the inside of the bridge portion 32 and removed from the second locking portions 30A, 30B. By releasing the lock between the first locking portions 20A, 20B and the second locking portions 30A, 30B in this way, the first cover body 2 and the second cover body 3 can be removed from the object M.
[0022] When performing maintenance or inspection of the terminals or the like of the object M with the cover 1 attached, first, the protruding piece 21 of the first locking portion 20B connected to the opening / closing region 42 is removed from the second locking portion 30B. Next, as shown in FIGS. 11 and 12 , the protruding piece 21 is grasped and the opening / closing region 42, together with the inner opening / closing region 46, is folded back toward the top surface 2b. At this time, the locking claw 49 of the opening / closing region 42 is easily removed from the locking hole 50 due to the elasticity of the first sound-absorbing material 4, so that the folding back of the opening / closing region 42 is not hindered. With the opening / closing region 42 and the inner opening / closing region 46 folded back in this manner, the opening locking piece 13 is inserted into the hole 9 of the top surface step portion 8. Then, as shown in FIG. 13 , the groove 14 engages with the upper edge of the hole 9, keeping the opening / closing region 42 and the inner opening / closing region 46 open. This creates a partial opening O on the left side surface 2a, exposing the terminals or the like. Therefore, the worker can perform maintenance or inspection of the object M through the opening O without having to hold the opening / closing area 42 and the inner opening / closing area 46 with his or her hands. When the work is finished, the worker grasps the protruding piece 21 of the opening / closing area 42 and pulls it to the right. This causes the opening locking piece 13 to move away from the hole 9, releasing the lock, allowing the opening / closing area 42 and the inner opening / closing area 46 to be rotated to the left side surface 2a and returned to the closed state. Next, the locking claw 49 is locked into the locking hole 50, and the protruding piece 21 is inserted into the insertion hole 34 of the second locking part 30B to prevent it from coming out, maintaining the closed state.
[0023] Thus, the cover 1 of the above embodiment includes a first cover body 2 formed of an elastomer and having first locking portions 20A, 20B integrally formed on the lower edge 7, and a second cover body 3 formed of an elastomer and having second locking portions 30A, 30B integrally formed on the upper edge 11 opposite the lower edge 7, the second locking portions 30A, 30B being lockable with the first locking portions 20A, 20B. When the lower edge 7 and the upper edge 11 of the cover 1 are butted together, the first locking portions 20A, 20B and the second locking portions 30A, 30B are locked together, thereby enabling the first cover body 2 and the second cover body 3 to cover the object M. The first cover body 2 includes a pair of first slits 40, 40 that start at the lower edge 7 and extend in a direction intersecting the lower edge 7, an opening locking piece 13 that is integrally formed in an opening / closing region 42 that is sandwiched between the pair of first slits 40, 40, and a hole 9 that is provided on the terminal end side of the first slits 40, 40. When the opening locking piece 13 is locked in the hole 9 with the opening / closing region 42 folded back along the pair of first slits 40, 40 toward the terminal ends 41, 41 of the first slits 40, 40, the object M can be partially exposed.
[0024] This configuration allows the object M to be suitably maintained in a covered state even when the cover is made of elastomer with a simple structure. Therefore, a highly reliable cover 1 can be provided. Meanwhile, by engaging the opening locking piece 13 with the hole 9 in a state where the opening / closing region 42 is folded back, the open state can be maintained without the operator having to hold the opening / closing region 42 with their hand, and the object M can be exposed with the cover 1 attached. Therefore, inspection of necessary areas can be performed with good workability while the cover is still in a covered state.
[0025] The opening locking portion is an opening locking piece 13 that protrudes in the opposite direction of the butting direction T from the lower edge 7 to the upper edge 11, and the locked portion is a hole 9 through which the opening locking piece 13 can be inserted. Therefore, the open state of the opening / closing region 42 can be maintained with a simple structure in which the opening locking piece 13 is inserted into the hole 9 to lock it. The opening locking piece 13 has a groove 14 formed between it and the opening / closing region 42, and the hole 9 is provided on an extension surface of the opening / closing region 42 when the opening / closing region 42 is covering the object M. When the opening locking piece 13 is inserted into the hole 9, the groove 14 locks with the edge of the hole 9. Therefore, the locked state between the opening locking piece 13 and the hole 9 is effectively maintained, making it difficult for the opening / closing region 42 in the open state to unexpectedly return to the closed state.
[0026] The open-close region 42 has an intermediate portion 12 of the first step portion 6 that protrudes toward the surface of the first cover body 2, and the opening locking piece 13 is provided in the intermediate portion 12. Therefore, the intermediate portion 12 can be used to position the opening locking piece 13 at a position that makes it easy to lock into the hole 9. A first sound-absorbing material 4 made of foamed resin is disposed on the inner surface of the first cover body 2, and a pair of second slits 45, 45 are formed in the first sound-absorbing material 4 inside the open-close region 42. The second slits 45, 45 extend from an inner edge 43 parallel to the lower edge 7 as a starting point in a direction intersecting the lower edge 7. The inner open-close region 46 of the first sound-absorbing material 4, which is sandwiched between the pair of second slits 45, 45, can be folded back together with the open-close region 42 along the pair of second slits 45 toward the terminal end of the second slits 45, 45, thereby partially exposing the object M. When the object M is covered by the open-close region 42, the pair of second slits 45 are covered by the open-close region 42. Therefore, even if the first sound-absorbing material 4 is provided inside the first cover body 2, the object M can be exposed by opening the inner open-close region 46. Furthermore, because the second slits 45 are covered by the open-close region 42 in the closed state, the object M can be maintained covered even if the first sound-absorbing material 4 is provided with the second slits 45, 45, and foreign matter can be prevented from entering from the outside. The inner open-close region 46 is fixed to the open-close region 42. Therefore, the inner open-close region 46 automatically follows the opening and closing operation of the open-close region 42, and the opening and closing operation of the open-close region 42 can be performed without hindrance even when the inner open-close region 46 is provided.
[0027] The second locking portions 30A, 30B have a notch 31 formed from the upper edge 11 in the butt direction T, and a bridge portion 32 formed along the upper edge 11 on the outer surface side of the second cover body 3 so as to straddle the notch 31. An insertion hole 34 communicating with the notch 31 is formed inside the bridge portion 32. The first locking portions 20A, 20B are locked to the second locking portions 30A, 30B by inserting the protruding piece 21 into the insertion hole 34 and locking the return piece 22 to the bridge portion 32. This makes it easy to engage and disengage the first locking portions 20A, 20B and the second locking portions 30A, 30B. The protruding piece 21 includes a base end 23 that protrudes from the upper edge 11 and a tip end 24 that protrudes from the protruding end of the base end 23 in the mating direction T. The barbed piece 22 is formed between the base end 23 and the tip end 24, and a locking groove 28 that opens on the opposite side of the mating direction T is formed between the base end 23 and the tip end 24. When the tip end 24 and the base end 23 are inserted into the insertion hole 34, the locking groove 28 is engaged with the bridge portion 32 and the barbed piece 22 is positioned outside the bridge portion 32, whereby the first locking portions 20A, 20B are locked to the second locking portions 30A, 30B in a non-detachable state. This improves the reliability of the engagement between the first locking portions 20A, 20B and the second locking portions 30A, 30B.
[0028] Protrusions 27 are formed on both the outer and inner surfaces of the insertion plate 26. The protrusions 27 provide a non-slip grip when gripping the insertion plate 26, facilitating easy operation. The bridge portion 32 is positioned away from the outer surface of the second cover body 3. This facilitates inserting the protruding pieces 21 of the first locking portions 20A, 20B into the inside of the bridge portion 32. The outer surface of the bridge portion 32 is provided with protrusions 33 that protrude outward. Therefore, when removing the cover 1, the protrusions 33 can be used to elastically deform the bridge portion 32 in a direction away from the locking grooves 28, facilitating the unlocking operation between the first locking portions 20A, 20B and the second locking portions 30A, 30B. First and second sound-absorbing materials 4 and 5 made of urethane foam are disposed on the inner surfaces of the first and second cover bodies 2, 3. This enhances sound insulation when covering the object M.
[0029] Next, a modified example of the first embodiment will be described. The shape of the opening locking piece is not limited to the first embodiment. It may be wider or have a curved hook shape, as long as it can be locked into the hole in the upper step portion. The shape of the hole may be narrower to match the shape of the opening locking piece, and may be a slit-like shape, or a round hole instead of a square hole. The upper step portion in which the hole is formed may also be inclined or curved. In the opening and closing region of the first embodiment, the first locking portion is formed to be located at the rear in the front-to-rear direction, but the first locking portion may be formed to be located at the center of the opening and closing region in the front-to-rear direction. The first locking portion does not have to be located in the opening and closing region.
[0030] Next, other embodiments of the present disclosure will be described. However, components identical to those in Embodiment 1 are designated by the same reference numerals, and redundant description will be omitted. [Embodiment 2] Fig. 14 is a perspective view of a cover 100 of Embodiment 2, Fig. 15 is a plan view of the cover 100, and Fig. 16 is a cross-sectional view taken along line F-F in Fig. 15. In all cases, the opening / closing region is closed. In the cover 100, the front end of the top surface step portion 8 is closer to the rear than in the cover 1 of Embodiment 1, and the area of the recessed portion is smaller. Therefore, when the opening / closing region 42 is folded back, the top surface step portion 8 is not located below the opening locking piece 13. The hole 9 is formed not in the top surface step portion 8 but in the top surface 2b, forward of the top surface step portion 8. The hole 9 is rectangular in plan view and is sized to allow insertion of a portion of the opening / closing region 42, including the intermediate portion 12 of the first step portion 6 where the opening locking piece 13 is formed.
[0031] Therefore, when performing maintenance or inspection of the terminals or the like of the object M with the cover 100 attached, first, the protruding piece 21 of the first locking portion 20B connected to the opening / closing region 42 is removed from the second locking portion 30B. Next, as shown in FIGS. 17 and 18 , the protruding piece 21 is grasped and the opening / closing region 42 is folded back toward the top surface 2b together with the inner opening / closing region 46. With the opening / closing region 42 and the inner opening / closing region 46 folded back in this manner, the middle portion 12 of the first step portion 6 in the opening / closing region 42 is inserted into the hole 9 in the top surface step portion 8, and the opening locking piece 13 is engaged with the left edge of the hole 9. At this time, the first locking portion 20B passes over the top surface step portion 8 and is placed in the recessed portion of the top surface 2b. Then, as shown in FIG. 19 , the groove 14 engages with the upper edge of the hole 9, and the opening / closing region 42 and the inner opening / closing region 46 remain open. For this reason, an opening O is formed partially on the left side surface 2a, exposing the terminals, etc. Therefore, the worker can perform maintenance, inspection, etc. of the object M through the opening O without holding the opening area 42 and the inner opening area 46 with his or her hands.
[0032] When the work is complete, grasp the locking claw 49 of the opening / closing region 42 or the protruding piece 21 of the first locking portion 20B and pull it to the right. This causes the opening locking piece 13 to move away from the hole 9, releasing the lock, allowing the opening / closing region 42 and the inner opening / closing region 46 to rotate toward the left side surface 2a and return to the closed state. Next, lock the locking claw 49 into the locking hole 50, and insert the protruding piece 21 into the insertion hole 34 of the second locking portion 30B to prevent it from coming out, maintaining the closed state.
[0033] As described above, the cover 100 of the second embodiment also has a simple structure and can maintain the object M in a suitable covered state even when made of an elastomer. Therefore, a highly reliable cover 100 can be provided. Meanwhile, by engaging the opening locking piece 13 with the hole 9 in the folded-back state of the opening / closing region 42, the open state can be maintained without the operator having to hold the opening / closing region 42 by hand, and the object M can be exposed with the cover 100 attached. Therefore, inspection work on necessary areas can be performed with good workability while the cover 100 is still in a covered state. In particular, the hole 9 is formed with a size that allows the middle portion 12 to be inserted when the opening / closing region 42 is folded back. Therefore, even if the middle portion 12, which is a step portion, is formed in the opening / closing region 42, the opening / closing region 42 can be folded back along the upper surface 2b of the first cover body 2, and the opening / closing region 42 is less likely to interfere with work in the open state.
[0034] Next, a modified example of form 2 will be described. The shape of the opening locking piece is not limited to form 2 above. As long as it can be locked onto the edge of the hole, it may be made wider or have a curved hook shape. The shape of the hole can also be modified as appropriate to match the shape of the step part of the opening and closing area. It may be oval rather than rectangular. In the opening and closing area of form 2 above, the first locking part is formed to be located at the rear in the front-to-rear direction, but the first locking part may be formed to be located at the center of the opening and closing area in the front-to-rear direction. The first locking part does not have to be located in the opening and closing area.
[0035] [Mode 3] Figure 20 is a perspective view of a cover 200 of Mode 3, Figure 21 is a plan view of the cover 200, and Figure 22 is a cross-sectional view taken along line H-H in Figure 21. In all cases, the opening / closing region is in a closed state. In the cover 200, the top surface 2b does not have a top step, and the first slits 40, 40 are located at positions sandwiching the first locking portion 20B on the rear side of the left side surface 2a. Therefore, the first locking portion 20B is integrated at approximately the center of the opening / closing region 42 in the front-to-rear direction. A locking hole 15 is formed on the top surface 2b at a position where the first locking portion 20B will be placed when the opening / closing region 42 is folded back. The locking hole 15 is rectangular in plan view, and the protruding piece 21 of the first locking portion 20B can be inserted into the locking hole 15 when the opening / closing region 42 is folded back. In this inserted state, the return piece 22 of the protruding piece 21 can be engaged with the edge of the locking hole 15. The locking hole 15 is an example of a locked portion of the present disclosure. A relief hole 16 is formed in front of the locking hole 15. The relief hole 16 is rectangular in plan view and is sized so that a part of the opening / closing region 42, including the intermediate portion 12 of the first step portion 6, can be inserted therein when the opening / closing region 42 is folded back. In this embodiment 3, an opening locking piece is not provided in the intermediate portion 12.
[0036] Therefore, when performing maintenance or inspection of the terminals or the like of the object M with the cover 200 attached, first, the protruding piece 21 of the first locking portion 20B connected to the opening / closing region 42 is removed from the second locking portion 30B. Next, as shown in Figures 23 and 24, the protruding piece 21 is grasped and the opening / closing region 42 is folded back toward the top surface 2b together with the inner opening / closing region 46. With the opening / closing region 42 and the inner opening / closing region 46 folded back in this manner, the middle portion 12 of the first step portion 6 in the opening / closing region 42 is inserted into the escape hole 16 in the top surface 2b. At the same time, the protruding piece 21 of the first locking portion 20B is inserted into the locking hole 15 to lock the return piece 22 to the edge. At this time, the middle portion 12 is inserted into the escape hole 16, bringing the folded end of the opening / closing region 42 into close contact with the top surface 2b, so that the insertion of the protruding piece 21 is not hindered. 25, the locking groove 28 of the protruding piece 21 locks into the left edge of the locking hole 15, and the openable area 42 and the inner openable area 46 are maintained in an open state. As a result, an opening O is partially formed on the left side surface 2a, exposing the terminals and the like. Therefore, the worker can perform maintenance, inspection, etc. of the object M through the opening O without having to hold the openable area 42 and the inner openable area 46 with his or her hands.
[0037] When the work is complete, grasp the protruding piece 21 of the first locking portion 20B and pull it to the right. This causes the barb 22 to move away from the locking hole 15, releasing the lock, allowing the protruding piece 21 to be removed from the locking hole 15. The openable region 42 and the inner openable region 46 can then be rotated toward the left side surface 2a to return to the closed state. Next, the locking claw 49 is engaged with the locking hole 50, and the protruding piece 21 is inserted into the insertion hole 34 of the second locking portion 30B to prevent it from coming out, maintaining the closed state.
[0038] As described above, the cover 200 of the third embodiment also has a simple structure and can maintain the covering state of the object M even when made of elastomer. Therefore, a highly reliable cover 200 can be provided. Meanwhile, by engaging the first locking portion 20B with the locking hole 15 with the openable region 42 folded back, the open state can be maintained without the operator having to hold the openable region 42 by hand, exposing the object M with the cover 200 attached. Therefore, inspection of necessary areas can be performed with good workability while the cover 200 is still in the covered state. In particular, here, a pair of first slits 40, 40 are formed on either side of the first locking portion 20B, and the first locking portion 20B, which is integral with the openable region 42, also serves as the opening locking portion. The locked portion is the locking hole 15 into which the first locking portion 20B can be inserted and locked when the openable region 42 is folded back toward the end of the first slit 40. Therefore, a rational configuration is achieved in which the first locking portion 20B also serves as an opening locking portion.
[0039] A modified example of the third embodiment will be described below. In the third embodiment, the first locking portion integral with the opening / closing region is provided approximately in the center of the opening / closing region in the front-to-rear direction, but the first locking portion may be located closer to the rear of the opening / closing region. The first locking portion may lock a portion other than the tab with the locking hole. There may be multiple first locking portions in the opening / closing region. In this case, a locking hole may be provided for each first locking portion, or multiple first locking portions may be inserted and locked into one locking hole. The locking hole is not limited to a rectangular shape in a plan view. The shape of the locking hole in a plan view can be changed as appropriate, as long as the first locking portion can be inserted and locked. In the third embodiment, a relief hole is provided for inserting the stepped portion of the opening / closing region, but the shape of the relief hole can also be changed as appropriate to match the shape of the stepped portion. The relief hole need not be provided.
[0040] Modifications common to all embodiments of the present disclosure are described below. The opening / closing region can be modified as needed to match the position and size of the portion of the object to be exposed. Therefore, the end of the first slit may be located closer to the right of the top surface of the first cover body than in the above embodiment. Conversely, the end of the first slit may be located on the right side surface of the first cover body rather than on the top surface. The first slit may be curved. There may be multiple opening / closing regions. The first slit may be located on another surface, not just the left side surface of the first cover body. The angle at which the first slit extends does not have to be perpendicular to the first edge, but may be any intersecting direction. Therefore, the opening / closing region is not limited to a rectangular shape. The inner opening / closing region does not have to be fixed to the opening / closing region. In this case, a locking portion that locks the inner opening / closing region and the opening / closing region together may be provided so that the inner opening / closing region can follow the opening and closing of the opening / closing region.
[0041] The shapes of the first and second step portions of the first cover body can be modified as appropriate. For example, the first step portion may not be curved, but may only have a portion extending in the vertical direction. However, the first and second step portions do not have to be present. The second slits provided in the first sound-absorbing material can also be modified as appropriate to match the first slits. The second slits may be formed at the same interval as the first slits. The locking claws and locking holes may be provided on opposite sides, or other locking structures may be used as long as the opening and closing area can be positioned in the closed state. This locking structure may be provided at the rear of the opening and closing area instead of the front, or may be provided on both the front and back. This locking structure may be omitted.
[0042] In each of the above embodiments, two first locking portions are provided on the left and right sides of the first edge of the first cover body. However, the number of first locking portions is not limited to two, and three or more may be provided. There may be only one first locking portion on the side opposite the side where the opening and closing area is formed. The second locking portion of the second cover body can also be modified appropriately to match the number and position of the first locking portions. The shape of the first locking portion itself can also be modified appropriately. For example, the shape and number of the protrusions provided on the insertion plate are not limited to those in the above embodiments. The protrusions may be provided on only one side of the insertion plate, rather than on both sides. The protrusions may be absent. The shape and number of the protrusions in the second locking portion are not limited to those in the above embodiments. The protrusions may have a shape where the upper ends are connected. The protrusions may be absent. The overall shape of the cover is also not limited to a rectangular parallelepiped. The overall shape of the cover may be, for example, cylindrical and can be modified appropriately to match the shape of the object. The first and second sound-absorbing materials are not limited to urethane foam, but may be formed from other foam resins. If the desired sound insulation performance can be obtained with the first and second cover bodies, the first and second sound-absorbing materials may be provided partially or may be omitted. There may be no gap between the first cover body and the second cover body. In this case, an opening may be formed at the location where a cable or the like is to be pulled out.
