An absorbent article comprising: an absorbent main body disposed at least in the crotch region of the absorbent article and including an absorbent core; a plurality of design parts constituted by a design consisting of at least letters, symbols or pictures; and a fold line which serves as a base point for folding the absorbent article in half in the front-to-back direction and extends in the width direction of the absorbent article, wherein the plurality of design parts indicate the type of the absorbent article and have type indication parts which are visible when a wearer selects an absorbent article, and the type indication part has a maximum type indication part which is the largest of the plurality of design parts when the absorbent article is in a stretched state, and when the absorbent article is in a stretched state, the maximum length of the maximum type indication part in the front-to-back direction is 15% or more of the length from the outer edge of the waist side of the absorbent article to the fold line in the front-to-back direction, and when the absorbent article is in a stretched state, the maximum length of the maximum type indication part in the width direction of the absorbent article is 15% or more of the total length of the absorbent main body in the width direction.

An absorbent article having a plurality of design parts constituted by a design consisting of at least letters, symbols or patterns, the plurality of design parts having a type indication part which indicates the type of the absorbent article and is visible when the wearer selects an absorbent article, the type indication part having a maximum type indication part which is the largest of the plurality of design parts when the absorbent article is in an extended state, the maximum type indication part being constituted by at least one of the letters, symbols and patterns and a different color for each of the plurality of types of absorbent articles.

An absorbent article as described in any one of claims 1 to 4, which has a fold line that serves as a base point for folding the absorbent article in half in the front-to-rear direction and extends in the width direction of the absorbent article, and the center of the maximum type indicating section in the front-to-rear direction is closer to the outer edge of the absorbent article on the waist side in the front-to-rear direction than the fold line.

An absorbent article according to any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein the absorbent article has an indicator that changes color upon contact with bodily waste, and the maximum thickness of the line constituting the outline of the maximum type display section is thicker than the width of the indicator.
