[0043] Embodiments herein will be described below with reference to the drawings.

[0044] The inventive concept of the disclosure is to monitor and / or evaluate user response to a cosmetic over a time during cosmetic usage and associate general emotions of users, specific emotions of users with sensory features of users, thus said cosmetic can be designed with targeted emotions leveraging the power of sensory evaluation.

[0045] Fig. 1 shows a flowchart of a method 100 of monitoring and / or evaluating user response to a cosmetic over a time during cosmetic usage in accordance with a first embodiment of a first aspect of the present disclosure.

[0046] In order to obtain user response to a cosmetic over a time during cosmetic usage, said method 100 is performed. Before performing said method 100, a set of users are selected randomly and the number of the set of users is preferably more than 20. As shown in Figure 1, said method 100 comprises block 101 of obtaining a first data regarding general emotions of users. In a preferred embodiment, said block 101 of obtaining a first data regarding general emotions of users can be achieved by detecting a first information regarding general emotions of users over the time during cosmetic usage and then processing said first information. When the users use a cosmetic to be tested simultaneously, said users will have different general emotions to the cosmetic during cosmetic usage. In a preferred example, said general emotions can be defined as negative emotion, neutral emotion, or positive emotion, which is not limitative. Of course, said general emotions can be defined as other types of emotions.

[0047] In a preferred example, said block 101 can be performed by one of an EEG device, a BEAM device, a NIRS device, a GSR device and a HRV device and the like to obtain the real-time general emotions of users.

[0048] EEG is one of the brain signal recording methods that can advantageously reveal the emotions felt by users when applying a cosmetic product. This is an electrophysiological monitoring method that records electrical activity in the brain. It is typically non-invasive, with the electrodes placed along the scalp. When people feel valence "pleased / unpleased" , their brains will release certain neurotransmitters, which will affect the changes of brain electrical activity. By measuring these changes, we can indirectly evaluate a person's emotional state. Through EEG, we get real-time emotions with positive, neutral, or negative, meanwhile the intensity of positive or negative emotion. With the power of EEG, these emotion data reflect the real emotion reaction of consumers. For example, in case of testing a mask product, the users may feel negative  emotion when they take our and unfold the mask, they may feel neutral emotion when they apply and adjust the mask on face, they may feel positive emotion when they open the pack.

[0049] NIRS is a non-invasive optical imaging technology, which uses near infrared light to measure the changes of cerebral blood flow. Emotional changes are often accompanied by changes in brain activity, which will lead to changes in blood flow. NIRS devices indirectly reflect the emotional state by detecting these changes.

[0050] GSR device measures skin conductance or resistance, which is caused by sweat gland activity. When people experience emotional arousal, such as stress, excitement, or fear, sweat gland activity increases, leading to increased skin conductance. The GSR device measures these changes to evaluate the emotional response.

[0051] HRV equipment measures the natural variability of heart rate, that is, the change of time interval between consecutive heartbeats. Heart rate variability is an important index of autonomic nervous system activity, which is closely related to emotional state. For example, stress and tension are usually related to the decrease of HRV, while relaxed state is related to the increase of HRV.

[0052] One of the above-mentioned devices is used to collect individual physiological data at the same time. Then, physiological data is processed, such as filtering, denoising and normalization and so on. Then, features related to emotion are extracted from the processed data, such as frequency band power, heart rate variability index, skin conductance level, etc. to obtain the real-time general emotions of users.

[0053] Emotion recognition by one of an EEG device, a BEAM device, a NIRS device, a GSR device and a HRV device and the like is still focused on dimensional models, rather than capturing specific emotions. To get more insights into specific emotions, other approaches should be combined in complementary ways. For this, said method 100 also comprises block 102 of obtaining a second data regarding specific emotions of users. In a preferred embodiment, said block 102 of obtaining a second data regarding  specific emotions of users can be achieved by detecting a second information regarding specific emotions of users over the time during cosmetic usage and then processing said second information. In a preferred example, said specific emotions are psychological attributes reflecting user's dominant emotional state and change thereof during cosmetic usage.

[0054] In a preferred example, when the users use the cosmetic to be tested simultaneously, they can select their specific dominant emotions from said psychological attributes on a panel of a device over the time during cosmetic usage. That is, the users have to select a new dominant emotion whenever they perceive a change in dominant emotions. Said psychological attributes can be predefined. For example, it is well known that there are 6 types of basic emotions, Happiness, Sadness, Fear, Disgust, Anger, Surprise. These basic emotions can be further divided into nervous, curious, desirable, delighted, satisfied, enjoyable, caring feel safe, soothing / relax, calming, worried, disappoint, irritable, discomfort, happy, dislike, impatient and the like. Based on actual need, other specific emotions can be defined. For example, in case of testing mask product, the users may feel nervous when they open the mask, the users may feel relaxed and calming when they apply the mask, the users may feel desirable when they take-off the mask.

[0055] In a preferred example, block 102 can be performed by one of a TDE method, questionnaires, survey and a FGD method to obtain the specific emotions of user in different stages of cosmetic usage.

[0056] A TDE method is a real-time emotional evaluation tool, which can capture the emotional experience of users at a specific point in time. In the research of emotional experience of cosmetic use, users can report their emotional state in real time at different stages of experiencing the product (such as before, during and after use) . This is usually done through mobile applications or computer programs, and users can select their current emotional attributes by sliding bars or buttons.

[0057] Questionnaires is a standardized data collection method, which can be used to evaluate users'emotional response to cosmetic use. The questionnaires can include a list of emotional words, allowing users to select  or evaluate the emotions they feel when using the product. Questionnaires can also include questions about users's atisfaction with products, preferences and experience. This is usually done through mobile applications or computer programs, and users can select their current emotional attributes by sliding bars or buttons.

[0058] Survey is usually used to collect a wider range of data, which can be online or in paper form. The survey can include questions about users'emotional experience of cosmetic use, and their views on product characteristics, effects and brands. This can be done through mobile applications or computer programs, and users can select their current emotional attributes by sliding bars or buttons.

[0059] A FGD method is a qualitative research method, which involves organizing a group of users to discuss their views and emotional experiences on a specific topic (in this case, cosmetic use) . In FGD, the host leads the discussion and encourages participants to share their emotional reactions and personal stories about the use of products. This method can provide insight into users'emotional experience and how these emotions affect their product selection and use. This can be done through mobile applications or computer programs, and users can select their current emotional attributes by sliding bars or buttons.

[0060] By using one of the above-mentioned methods, data regarding specific emotions of users is collected, then is processed to identify patterns and trends in emotional experience.

[0061] By said block 102, we can get specific emotion descriptions along with time and know which specific emotion is dominated at a specific time.

[0062] After blocks 101, 102, said method 100 also comprises block 103 of displaying said first data and said second data. By visual presentation for said first data and said second data, we can obtain user's objective real-time emotions and subjective real-time emotions and understand the emotional journey for cosmetic during cosmetic usage.

[0063] Orders of blocks 101-103 are only exemplary and not limited, thus they can be changed. For example, blocks 101, 102 can be performed  simultaneously or at different times.

[0064] By method 100, we can understand the emotions from both subjective and objective wise, with emotion direction, intensity and specific emotions.

[0065] Fig. 2 shows a flowchart of a method 200 of monitoring and / or evaluating user response to a cosmetic over a time during cosmetic usage in accordance with a second embodiment of a first aspect of the present disclosure.

[0066] In order to further understand which sensorial feature evokes specific emotion in each key moment and how usage, fragrance, sensory features drive emotional evolution, the disclosure relates to a method 200 of monitoring and / or evaluating user response to a cosmetic over a time during cosmetic usage.

[0067] As shown in Fig. 2, said method 200 comprises blocks 201, 202, 203, 204, wherein block 201 corresponds to block 101 of method 100, and block 202 corresponds to block 102 of method 100.

[0068] Before performing said method 200, the users are selected randomly and the number of the users is preferably more than 20. When they use a cosmetic to be tested simultaneously, the users will have different general and specific emotions to the cosmetic during cosmetic usage. As shown in Figure 2, said method 200 comprises block 201 of obtaining a first data regarding general emotions of users. In a prefer embodiment, said obtaining a first data regarding general emotions of users can be achieved by detecting a first information regarding general emotions of users over the time during cosmetic usage and then processing said first information. In a preferred example, said general emotions can be defined as negative emotion, neutral emotion or positive emotion, which is not limitative. Of course, said general emotions can be defined as other types of emotions.

[0069] In a preferred example, said block 201 can be performed by one of an EEG device, a BEAM device, a NIRS device, a GSR device and a HRV device and the like to obtain the real-time general emotions of users.

[0070] EEG is one of the brain signal recording methods that can advantageously reveal the emotions felt by users when applying a cosmetic  product. Through EEG, we get real-time emotions with positive, neutral or negative, meanwhile the intensity of positive, neutral or negative emotion. With the power of EEG, these emotion data reflect the real emotion reaction of consumers. For example, in case of testing mask product, the users may feel negative emotion when open the mask, they may feel neutral emotion when they apply the mask, they may feel positive emotion when they take-off the mask.

[0071] NIRS is a non-invasive optical imaging technology, which uses near infrared light to measure the changes of cerebral blood flow. Emotional changes are often accompanied by changes in brain activity, which will lead to changes in blood flow. NIRS devices indirectly reflect the emotional state by detecting these changes.

[0072] GSR device measures skin conductance or resistance, which is caused by sweat gland activity. When people experience emotional arousal, such as stress, excitement or fear, sweat gland activity increases, leading to increased skin conductance. The GSR device measures these changes to evaluate the emotional response.

[0073] HRV equipment measures the natural variability of heart rate, that is, the change of time interval between consecutive heartbeats. Heart rate variability is an important index of autonomic nervous system activity, which is closely related to emotional state. For example, stress and tension are usually related to the decrease of HRV, while relaxed state is related to the increase of HRV.

[0074] One of the above-mentioned devices is used to collect individual physiological data at the same time. Then, physiological data is processed, such as filtering, denoising and normalization and so on. Then, features  related to emotions are extracted from the processed data, such as frequency band power, heart rate variability index, skin conductance level and so on to obtain the real-time general emotions of users.

[0075] Emotion recognition by one of an EEG device, a BEAM device, a NIRS device, a GSR device and a HRV device and the like is still focused on dimensional models, rather than capturing specific emotions. To get more insights into specific emotions, other approaches should be combined in complementary ways. For this, said method 200 also comprises block 202 of obtaining a second data regarding specific emotions of users. In a preferred embodiment, said block 202 of obtaining a second data regarding specific emotions of users can be achieved by detecting a second information regarding specific emotions of users over the time during cosmetic usage and then processing said second information. In a preferred example, said specific emotions are psychological attributes reflecting user's dominant emotional state and change thereof during cosmetic usage.

[0076] In a preferred example, when the users use the cosmetic to be tested simultaneously, they can select their specific emotions from said psychological attributes on a panel of a device over the time during cosmetic usage. For example, in case of testing mask product, the users may feel impatient when they open the mask, the users may feel relaxed when they apply the mask, the users may feel satisfied when they take-off the mask.

[0077] In a preferred example, block 202 can be performed by one of a TDE method, questionnaires, survey and a FGD method to obtain the specific emotions of user in different stages of cosmetic usage.

[0078] A TDE method is a real-time emotional evaluation tool, which can capture the emotional experience of users at a specific point in time. In the research of emotional experience of cosmetic use, users can report their dominant emotion in real time at different stages of experiencing the product (such as before, during and after use) . This is usually done through mobile applications or computer programs, and users can select their current dominant emotional attributes by sliding bars or buttons.

[0079] Questionnaires is a standardized data collection method, which can be used to evaluate users'emotional response to cosmetics use. The questionnaires can include a list of emotional words, allowing users to select or evaluate the dominant emotions they feel when using the product. Questionnaires can also include questions about users's atisfaction with products, preferences, and experience. This is usually done through mobile applications or computer programs, and users can select their current emotional attributes by sliding bars or buttons.

[0080] Survey is usually used to collect a wider range of data, which can be online or in paper form. The survey can include questions about users'emotional experience of cosmetics use, and their views on product characteristics, effects, and brands. This can be done through mobile applications or computer programs, and users can select their current emotional attributes by sliding bars or buttons.

[0081] A FGD method is a qualitative research method, which involves organizing a group of users to discuss their views and emotional experiences on a specific topic (in this case, cosmetic use) .

[0082] By using one of the above-mentioned methods, data regarding specific emotions of users is collected, then is processed to identify patterns and  trends in emotional experience.

[0083] By said block 202, we can get specific emotion descriptions along with time and know which specific emotion is dominated at a specific time.

[0084] In order to obtain real-time objective sensory features during cosmetic usage, said method 200 also comprises block 203. Block 203 involves obtaining a third data regarding sensory features of users. In a preferred embodiment, said obtaining a third data regarding sensory features of users can be achieved by detecting a third information regarding sensory features of the users over the time during cosmetic usage and then processing said third information. In a preferred embodiment, when obtaining a third data regarding sensory features of users, said users preferably be specific users who are pre-trained. The number of the pre-trained users is preferably more than 20, thus they can use a reference to determine real-time objective sensory features during cosmetic usage. In a preferred embodiment, said sensory features are dominant sensory attributes which are related to user’s sensory experience at a specific moment during cosmetic usage. In a preferred example, when the users use the cosmetic to be tested simultaneously, they can select their specific sensory features from a sensory attribute over the time during cosmetic usage. The sensory attributes can be predefined. In a preferred example, the sensory attributes can comprise Adherence, Dehydration, Peel off, Wrapping, Cooling, Size, Cut, Texture of tissue, Color of tissue, Sticky skin, Greasy skin, Skin reflection, Slippery skin, Soft skin, Plumpy skin, Visibility of fine line, Film on skin, Residue, Penetration and the like. Based on actual need, other sensory features can be defined. For example, it is cooling sensation when they apply the mask, it is sticky skin when they take off the mask.

[0085] In a preferred example, block 203 can be performed by one of a TDS method and a TCATA method and the like to obtain the sensory features of user in different stages of cosmetic usage.

[0086] TDS method and TCATA method are two tools for dynamic sensory evaluation, which can be used to obtain users's ensory in the process of experiencing cosmetic products.

[0087] TDS method is a time multidimensional dynamic sensory analysis method, which allows pre-trained users to choose their dominant perception at every moment by providing a list describing product attributes. In TDS method, pre-trained users are required to continuously report the sensory attributes they feel during the whole process of cosmetic product experience, so as to obtain dynamic and multi-attribute sensory evaluation results. TDS method can describe the characteristics of cosmetic products changing with time which is helpful to better understand the sensory features of cosmetic products.

[0088] TCATA method is a dynamic description analysis method, which extends the CATA method and adds a time dimension to evaluate cosmetic products. In the TCATA method, the pre-trained users need to make a choice whether the attribute of the cosmetic products can be perceived at a specific time and track the selection and deselection of the attribute continuously with the passage of time, so that the pre-trained users can characterize the evolution of the sensory changes of the cosmetic product. The TCATA method allows the pre-trained users to mark all the attributes they can perceive in the evaluation process, and can change their choices with time, thus providing a comprehensive understanding of the changes of product sensory characteristics with time.

[0089] Through one of these two methods, we can capture the dynamic changes of sensory attributes of cosmetic products during consumption and consumers'emotional responses to these changes. This information is very useful for understanding how consumers perceive and evaluate cosmetic products and can help product developers optimize cosmetic products to meet consumers's ensory and emotional needs.

[0090] By block 203, we can get dominant sensory features along with time.

[0091] After blocks 201, 202, 203, said method 200 also comprises block 204 of displaying said first data, said second data and said third data. By visual presentation for said first data, said second data and said third data, we can obtain user`s objective real-time emotions, sensory and subjective real-time emotions, understand the emotional and sensory journey for cosmetic during  cosmetic usage and how usage, fragrance and sensory features drive emotional evolution.

[0092] Orders of blocks 201-204 are only exemplary and not limited, thus they can be changed. In one example, orders of performing blocks 201, 202, 203 can be exchanged as desired.

[0093] By method 200, we can understand emotions from both subjective and objective wise, with emotion direction, intensity and specific emotion and get real-time objective sensory features during cosmetic usage.

[0094] In a preferred embodiment, said method 200 also comprises block of associating said first data, said second data with said third data. By such association, we can understand which sensorial attribute evokes specific emotion in each time and decode emotion and sensory perception linkage for cosmetic innovation and design, which could accelerate and facilitate the cosmetic product development process.

[0095] Fig. 3a-3d shows an example graph of applying said method 200 in case of testing a mask in accordance with a first aspect of the present disclosure.

[0096] In order to further illustrate the disclosure, a kind of facial mask selected as an example. A set of participants applied the mask with blind usage.

[0097] Fig. 3a shows example results obtained using EEG device. In Fig. 3a, the participants are not pre-trained and the number of participants is 40. For each participant, the average of the frontal alpha asymmetry over time for each action is calculated. Then, the value is averaged across the 40 participants to create the EEG line graph. Four horizontal dashed lines in the EEG line graph represent the 25th percentile, 45th percentile, 55th percentile and 75th percentile. These are calculated through standardizing each participant’s frontal alpha asymmetry by subtracting the mean of the entire dataset, averaging the data for each action at each time point across 40 participants, and finally determining the percentiles. The result labelled as emotion index was categorized as very positive (beyond 75%percentile) , positive (range to 55%to 75%, represents good emotional experience) ,  neutral (range 45%to 55%, indicating no positive or negative emotional experience) , negative (range 25%to 45%, represents bad emotional experience) , and very negative (below 25%, through the estimation of the overall data) . We additionally tested differences in frontal alpha asymmetry based on findings of asymmetric brain responses, specifically in the alpha band being related to approach and avoidance behavior (Harmon-Jones, 2003; Ohme et al., 2010; Rollwaage et al., 2017) .

[0098] From Fig. 3a, we can see emotional journey for this kind of facial mask. For example, the participants are determined as having very negative emotional reaction when taking out and unfolding mask and having positive emotional reaction when opening pack.

[0099] Fig. 3b shows example results obtained using a TDE method with one questionnaire. In Fig. 3b, the participants are pre-trained and the number of participants is 30. Fig. 3b clearly shows temporal emotional journey derived from said TDE method. As can be seen from Fig. 3b, when taking out and applying the facial mask on faces, most of participants feel curious and desirable, while a small number of participants feel nervous and worried; during the 15 minutes mask stay on face, the dominant emotion is relaxed and calming. When taking off the mask and feeling the instant skin finish, the dominant emotion is calming and desirable. By using said TDE method, dominance rate of specific emotions can be calculated at every time, as shown in Fig. 3b.

[0100] Fig. 3c shows example results obtained using a TDS method with two questionnaires. In Fig. 3c, the participants are pre-trained and the number of participants is 30. Fig. 3c clearly shows temporal sensory journey derived from said TDS method. As can be seen from Fig. 3c, at first glance, the participants are attracted by the tissue texture, feel cooling once putting masks on their faces, continual cooling until 10 minutes, and wrapping feeling persisted from masks being stayed on face to masks being taken off. About 13 minutes after applying masks, the participants feel that masks are peeling off. When taking off mask, residue captures attention of participants, then sticky skin (not high intense but continual) is dominant, along with  long-lasting film on skin, and non-slippery skin. By using said TDS method, dominance rate of sensory features can be calculated at every time, as shown in Fig. 3c.

[0101] As can be seen from Figs. 3a-3c, EEG used in Fig. 3a has ‘receive and observe pack’ and ‘open pack’ stage, to mimic real consumer behavior. TDE used in Fig. 3b starts from "take out&unfold the mask" . TDS used in Fig. 3c starts from "apply&adjust the face" . For instant skin finish, EEG is about 1-3 minutes based on behavior of participants; TDS and TDE durations are 5minutes.

[0102] In order to understand emotions and sensory features in a more intuitive way, said first data obtained using EEG device, said second data obtained using TDE method and said third data obtained using TDS method can be displayed simultaneously. More particularly, Fig. 3d shows sensory objective data, emotional subjective data, and emotion objective data simultaneously.

[0103] As can be seen from Fig. 3d, we can not only understand the complete pictures of general emotions and specific emotions, but also understand which sensory features evokes specific emotion in each key moment, thus decode emotions and sensory perception linkage for cosmetic product design and development, which can accelerate cosmetic product development.

[0104] Fig. 4 shows a block diagram of a computing device 400 of monitoring and / or evaluating user response to a cosmetic over a time during cosmetic usage in accordance with a second aspect of the present disclosure.

[0105] As shown in Fig. 4, said computing device 400 comprises a processor unit 401 and a display unit 402 which can be communicated with each other by wire or wireless connection. A set of users are selected randomly, and the number of the users is preferably more than 20. When they use a cosmetic to be tested simultaneously, said users will have different general emotions to the cosmetic during cosmetic usage. Said processor unit 401 comprises a first processor unit including computational circuitry configured to obtain said first data regarding general emotions of users; and  a second processor unit including computational circuitry configured to obtain said second data regarding specific emotions of users.

[0106] In a preferred example, said general emotions can be defined as negative emotion, neutral emotion, or positive emotion, which is not limitative. Of course, said general emotions can be defined as other types of emotions.

[0107] In a preferred example, said processor unit 401 comprises a first processor unit including computational circuitry configured to obtain a first data regarding general emotions of the users by detecting a first information regarding general emotions of users over the time during cosmetic usage and then processing said first information.

[0108] In a preferred example, said first processor unit can be embodied as one of an EEG device, a BEAM device, a BEAM device, NIRS device, GSR device and HRV device and the like to obtain the real-time general emotions of users.

[0109] EEG is one of the brain signal recording methods that can advantageously reveal the emotions felt by users when applying a cosmetic product. Through EEG, we get real-time emotions with positive, neutral or negative, meanwhile the intensity of positive, neutral or negative emotion. With the power of EEG, these emotion data reflect the real emotion reaction of consumers. For example, consumers may feel negative emotion when open the mask, consumers may feel neutral emotion when apply the mask, consumers may feel positive emotion when take-off the mask.

[0110] NIRS is a non-invasive optical imaging technology, which uses near infrared light to measure the changes of cerebral blood flow. Emotional changes are often accompanied by changes in brain activity, which will lead  to changes in blood flow. NIRS devices indirectly reflect the emotional state by detecting these changes.

[0111] GSR device measures skin conductance or resistance, which is caused by sweat gland activity. When people experience emotional arousal, such as stress, excitement or fear, sweat gland activity increases, leading to increased skin conductance. The GSR device measures these changes to evaluate the emotional response.

[0112] HRV equipment measures the natural variability of heart rate, that is, the change of time interval between consecutive heartbeats. Heart rate variability is an important index of autonomic nervous system activity, which is closely related to emotional state. For example, stress and tension are usually related to the decrease of HRV, while relaxed state is related to the increase of HRV.

[0113] One of the above-mentioned devices is used to collect individual physiological data at the same time. Then, physiological data is processed, such as filtering, denoising and normalization and so on. Then, features related to emotion are extracted from the processed data, such as frequency band power, heart rate variability index, skin conductance level, etc. to obtain the real-time general emotions of users.

[0114] By said first processor unit, we can obtain a first data regarding general emotions over a time during cosmetic usage.

[0115] Emotion recognition by one of an EEG device, a BEAM device, a NIRS device, a GSR device and a HRV device and the like is still focused on dimensional models, rather than capturing specific emotions. To get more insights into specific emotions, other approaches should be combined in complementary ways.

[0116] In order to obtain specific emotions from users during cosmetic usage, said processor unit 401 also comprises a second processor unit including computational circuitry configured to obtain a second data regarding specific emotions of users. In a preferred example, when the users use the cosmetic to be tested simultaneously, they can select their specific dominant emotions from psychological attributes on a panel of a device over the time  during cosmetic usage. That is, the users have to select a new dominant emotion whenever they perceive a change in dominant emotions. The psychological attributes can be predefined.

[0117] In a preferred example, said second processor unit including computational circuitry is configured to obtain a second data regarding specific emotions of the users by detecting a second information regarding specific emotions of users over the time during cosmetic usage and then processing said second information. By analyzing said second data from the users, we can get specific emotion descriptions along with time and know which specific emotion is dominated at a specific time.

[0118] In a preferred example, said second processor unit can use one of a TDE method, questionnaires, survey and a FGD method and the like to obtain the specific emotions of user in different stages of cosmetic usage.

[0119] A TDE method, questionnaires, survey and a FGD method are the same as those mentioned in above. Thus, in order to avoid repetition, they are not described in detail.

[0120] Said computing device 400 also comprises a display unit 402 including computational circuitry configured to display said first data and said second data simultaneously. By visual presentation for said first data and said second data, we can obtain user`s objective real-time emotions and subjective real-time emotions and understand the emotional journey for cosmetic during cosmetic usage.

[0121] In order to further understand which sensorial feature evokes specific emotion in each time and how usage, fragrance, sensory features drive emotional evolution, in a preferred example, said processor unit 401 also comprises a third processor unit including computational circuitry which  configured to obtain a third data regarding sensory features of users. In a preferred embodiment, a third processor unit including computational circuitry is configured to obtain a third data regarding sensory features of users by detecting a third information regarding sensory features of users over the time during cosmetic usage and then processing said third information. When obtaining a third data regarding sensory features of users, said users can be specific users who are pre-trained, thus they can use a reference to determine real-time objective sensory features during cosmetic usage. In a preferred example, when the pre-trained users use the cosmetic to be tested simultaneously, they can select their specific sensory features from the psychological attributes on a panel of a device over the time during cosmetic usage. The psychological attributes can be predefined. In a preferred example, the psychological attributes can comprise Adherence, Dehydration, Peel off, Wrapping, Cooling, Size, Cut, Texture of tissue, Color of tissue, Sticky skin, Greasy skin, Skin reflection, Slippery skin, Soft skin, Plumpy skin, Visibility of fine line, Film on skin, Residue, Penetration and the like. Based on actual need, other sensory features can be defined.

[0122] In a preferred example, said third processor unit can use one of a TDS method and a TCATA method and the like to obtain the sensory features of user in different stages of cosmetic usage.

[0123] A TDS method and a TCATA method are the same as those mentioned in above. Thus, in order to avoid repetition, they are not described in detail.

[0124] By analyzing said third data from the pre-trained users, we can get dominant sensory features along with time.

[0125] In a preferred example, said display unit 402 including computational circuitry is also configured to display said first data, said second data and said third data simultaneously. Said display unit 402 can be a liquid crystal display, an organic light emitting diode display, a cathode ray tube, a plasma display, a projector display and the like. By visual presentation for said first data, said second data and said third data, we can obtain user`s objective real-time emotions and subjective real-time emotions, understand the emotional journey for cosmetic during cosmetic usage and how usage,  fragrance and sensory features drive emotional evolution.

[0126] By said computing device 400, we can understand the emotion from both subjective and objective wise, with emotion direction, intensity and specific emotion and get real-time objective sensory features during cosmetic usage.

[0127] In a preferred example, said computing device 400 also comprises components for associating said first data, said second data with said third data. By such association, we can understand which sensorial attribute evoke specific emotion in each time and decode emotion and sensory perception linkage for cosmetic innovation and design. Thus, there is provided an efficient way to design cosmetic with targeted emotion leveraging the power of sensory evaluation.
