[0031] It should be understood that the structure and function of the various elements in environment 100 are described for illustrative purposes only and do not imply any limitation on the scope of this disclosure.
[0032] The following description will continue with reference to the accompanying drawings, which will provide some exemplary embodiments of this disclosure.
[0033] Example Interaction
[0034] Figures 2A to 2C illustrate example interfaces 200A to 200I according to some embodiments of the present disclosure. Interfaces 200A to 200C may be provided, for example, by the electronic device 110 shown in Figure 1.
[0035] As shown in Figure 2A, the electronic device 110 can display a viewing interface 200A. The viewing interface 200A can include three information display areas. Taking Figure 2A as an example, the viewing interface 200A can include an error list area, a structured data area, and a data specification area.
[0036] In some scenarios, structured data areas can include JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) data, also known as structured data. As an example, structured data can include segmented data 205 (also known as the first segment). Segmented data 205 includes a key-value pair, which contains two parts: a key and a value. The key is a unique identifier (called a field), and one identifier corresponds to one value. In JSON format, key-value pairs can be used to build complex object structures, achieving hierarchical organization of data through nesting. This key-value pair can be (field1: value1). Structured data can also include other segmented data (other segmented data includes second, third, and fourth segmented data). The second segmented data includes a key-value pair of (field2: value2); the third segmented data includes a key-value pair of (field3: value3); and the fourth segmented data includes a key-value pair of (field4: value4). The above segmented data is erroneous data that does not meet the data specifications.
[0037] In some embodiments, the electronic device 110 may present at least one error message in the structured data viewing interface 200A. Specifically, the at least one error message is determined based on a comparison between the structured data and its data specification. Additionally, the data specification is used to describe and test the structured data. For example, taking JSON data as an example of structured data, the data specification could be, for example, a JSON Schema about the JSON data. The JSON Schema describes the data format of JSON and has various uses, one of which is instance verification. As another example, segmented data 205 corresponds to data specification content 210 in the data specification area. After comparing segmented data 205 with data specification content 210, the electronic device 110 determines that segmented data 205 does not meet the data specification and displays an error message 215 (also referred to as "Error 1") describing segmented data 205 in the error list area. Similarly, other segmented data (such as the second, third, and fourth segmented data) are compared with their corresponding data specifications, and corresponding error messages (such as error 2, error 3, and error 4) are displayed in the error list area.
[0038] In some embodiments, the electronic device 110 may present a target style in the structured data area that indicates a mismatch between the structured data and the data specification. As an example, the electronic device 110 highlights segmented data 205 and other segmented data (e.g., second segmented data, third segmented data, and fourth segmented data) in the structured data area to indicate a mismatch between the segmented data and the corresponding data specification. It should be understood that the electronic device 110 may also highlight the segmented data in other ways, and this disclosure does not specifically limit this method.
[0039] Additionally or alternatively, at least one error message indicates at least one of the following types of errors: Type I error, indicating that the data type of the value in the key-value pair in the segmented data does not match the data type defined in the corresponding data specification; Type II error, indicating that the identifier in the key-value pair in the segmented data is not defined in the corresponding data specification; Type III error, indicating that the identifier included in the key-value pair in the segmented data is missing compared to the necessary identifier defined in the corresponding data specification. As an example, "Error 1" indicates that the data type of value 1 in segmented data 205 does not meet the data type required in data specification content 210. Specifically, the data specification of segmented data 205 requires that the data type of value 1 (value 1 can be "a") is floating-point, while the data type of value 1 is character, then electronic device 110 determines that the data type of segmented data 205 is incorrect. Electronic device 110 displays "Value 1: Data type error" in "Error 1" in the error list area.
[0040] As another example, "Error 2" indicates that the identifier for the second segment data is undefined. Specifically, for example, if the second segment data corresponds to data specification content 220 in the data specification area, and data specification content 220 does not define "Field 2" for the second segment data, then electronic device 110 determines that the identifier for the second segment data is undefined. Electronic device 110 displays "Field 2: Field undefined" in the "Error 2" field of the error list area.
[0041] As another example, "Error 4" indicates that the identifiers included in the key-value pairs in the fourth segment of data are missing compared to the identifiers required by the data specification. Specifically, the data specification may require that the fourth segment of data include at least field 4 and field 5. When the identifiers of the key-value pairs in the fourth segment of data only include field 4, the electronic device 110 determines that the field of the fourth segment of data is missing. The electronic device 110 displays "Fourth segment data: Field missing" in the "Error 4" field of the error list area.
[0042] In some embodiments, as shown in FIG2B, in response to a first operation on a target error message among at least one error message, the electronic device 110 may present a first portion of structured data corresponding to the target error message in a first style and a second portion of data specification corresponding to the target error message in a second style in a viewing interface 200B. Specifically, the electronic device 110 presenting the first portion of structured data corresponding to the target error message in the first style includes: presenting a first indicator corresponding to the start position of the first portion and a second indicator corresponding to the end position of the first portion.
[0043] As an example, the electronic device 110 can receive a click operation on an error message 225 (also referred to as "Error 3") for the third segment of data in the error list area, where the corresponding third segment of data in the structured data area is displayed as a first indicator 230-1 and a second indicator 230-2. Specifically, the first indicator 230-1 indicates the start position of the third segment of data, and the second indicator 230-2 indicates the end position of the third segment of data. As an example, the first indicator 230-1 and the second indicator 230-2 can be, for example, a blinking cursor. It should be understood that the electronic device 110 can also receive other user operations to select the corresponding error message, and the styles of the first and second indicators can also be other styles, which are not specifically limited herein.
[0044] Furthermore, the electronic device 110 can present the second part 235 in the data specification area. The second part 235 indicates the data specification content corresponding to the third segment data in the data specification area, and highlights the corresponding data specification content so that the user can find the corresponding structured data based on the error message, and find the corresponding data specification based on the erroneous structured data. It should be understood that the electronic device 110 can also highlight the second part 235 in other appropriate ways, which are not specifically limited in this disclosure.
[0045] In some embodiments, as shown in FIG2C, the electronic device 110 may, in response to a second operation on structured data, present a third portion of the data specification corresponding to the second operation in a second style in the viewing interface 200C. Specifically, the second operation may include a mouse hover operation. As an example, in the structured data area, when the mouse hovers over the fifth segment data 240, the electronic device 110 presents the third portion of the data specification content 245 corresponding to the fifth segment data 240 in the data specification area in the second style. The third portion may indicate that the data specification content 245 is highlighted. It should be understood that the electronic device 110 may also highlight the data specification content determined by the mouse hover operation in other ways, which are not specifically limited herein.
[0046] In some embodiments, at least one error message may be determined by electronic device 110 or server 130 based on the following process: determining path information of a target field in structured data; determining definition information of the target field from a data specification based on the path information; and generating a target error message associated with the target field in response to a mismatch between the target value of the target field in the structured data and the definition information.
[0047] Specifically, before determining the path information of the target field in the structured data, the electronic device 110 or the server 130 may define a function that accepts two input parameters, which may include the structured data and the data specification corresponding to the structured data, and may define an array to store error messages within the function.
[0048] Furthermore, the electronic device 110 or server 130 can traverse the structured data using a depth-first search algorithm to determine the path information of the target field in the structured data. Based on the path information of the target field, the electronic device 110 determines the corresponding start and end positions in the data specification, and then determines the definition information of the target field based on the content between the start and end positions in the data specification. The definition information can indicate the data type of the target field's value; for example, it can indicate that the data type of the target field's value is integer. It should be understood that the electronic device 110 can also determine the path information of the target field in the structured data using other algorithms, which are not specifically limited herein.
[0049] Furthermore, electronic device 110 or server 130 may generate a target error message associated with the target field in response to a mismatch between the data type of the target field's value and the definition information. The target error message may indicate a descriptive message for the erroneous data, such as "Error 1" in Figure 2A.
[0050] Alternatively or additionally, after generating the target error message, the electronic device 110 or server 130 adds the target error message to the error list. Specifically, the electronic device 110 first stores the target error message in an array of error messages and then displays the target error messages in the array in the error list. Furthermore, the target error message includes at least the path information of the target field, so that the user can find the target field and its definition information based on the target error message.
[0051] Alternatively or additionally, electronic device 110 or server 130 may determine a first content corresponding to the path information from the data specification; and in response to the first content indicating a reference to a second content in the data specification, determine the definition information of the target field based on the second content.
[0052] Specifically, electronic device 110 or server 130 can define a pointer variable pointing to the default location of the data specification. Then, based on the path information, the pointer variable is directed to the corresponding first content in the data specification. As an example, the structured data may include target data. The target data could be ("obj": {"number": 1, "string": 2}). The first content in the data specification corresponding to the target data could be ("obj": {"$ref": "# / &defs / obj"}). After directing the pointer to the location of the first content, the first electronic device 110 then finds a reference to the second content in the data specification based on "# / &defs / obj" in the first content. The reference to the second content could be:
[0053] Electronic device 110 determines the definition information of the target data based on the reference to the second content in the data specification.
[0054] In some embodiments, the electronic device 110 can update the viewing interface in response to modifications to structured data or data specifications. Taking Figure 2A as an example, the electronic device 110 can receive a user's modification to segmented data 205, making the data type of the key-value pairs in segmented data 205 meet the data type requirements of the data specification. In this case, the highlighting of segmented data 205 will stop, and "Error 1" will be deleted from the error list area. As another example, the electronic device 110 can receive a user's modification to the data specification content corresponding to the fourth segmented data, making the fourth segmented data meet the identifier required by its corresponding data specification. In this case, the highlighting of the fourth segmented data will stop, and "Error 4" will be deleted from the error list area.
[0055] In this way, by presenting a first part of a first style in the structured data corresponding to the error message and a second part of a second style in the data specification corresponding to the error message, the embodiments of this disclosure can facilitate users to perceive the errors and corresponding data segments in the structured data, thereby helping users to better correct errors.
