[0003] The present invention relates to a system and method developed to reduce data traffic density, reduce costs and provide secure access to data for remote users while exchanging data and files between a remote external user, center and branches in organizations.

[0005] While rapid change in the business world and technological advances are driving companies to operate across borders, managing business processes between branches in different countries is becoming increasingly complex. This global expansion raises a number of information technology (IT) challenges. Communication and data management challenges between branches located in different geographies can affect the operational efficiency of companies. The invention described herein provides a solution to this issue.

[0006] In the state of the art, a data center is established in each branch and an MPLS line is established between the head office and branches for data exchange between the head office and branches. Data and file transfer is performed over the MPLS line. However, this system is quite costly and creates additional costs when opening new branches. Establishing a data center in each branch brings with it many costs such as energy, air conditioning, system room, hardware, network, license, and on-site support costs. Additionally, secure remote access to data or files cannot be provided in accordance with today's needs. Therefore, alternative systems are needed instead of centralized file server services. In addition, the MPLS line is a limited line and it is necessary to provide controlled data flow without saturating this line. The main problems encountered in the method used in the state of the art are given below:

The advantages of the invention are described below:

[0018] • File and data transfer is provided by converting the HTTP / HTTPS protocol to the SMB protocol. This allows two otherwise separate protocols to integrate seamlessly.

[0019] • There is no need for a server; a single system serving in the cache can be designed, or a service can be provided without a user-based server.

[0043] In this detailed description, the system and method of the present invention are described by means of examples only for clarifying the subject matter such that no limiting effect is created. In the system and method mentioned in the present invention, data and file transfer between internal users (1), external users (2) and center (A) or branches (B) is carried out via the MPLS line (60). However, the invention has serious advantages over traditional data and file transfer systems using the MPLS line (60). The first of these is the use of a synchronization system during data and file transfer. The main object of synchronization is to perform file transfers not instantly, but at times when the MPLS line (60) traffic is at low- density. A load balancer (10) is used for this purpose in the present invention. The task of the load balancer (10) is to monitor the data traffic density of the MPLS line (60), to allow file and data transfer if the data traffic density is low, and to hold the file transfer for a certain synchronization time interval if the data traffic density is high.

[0044] In the invention, when an internal user (1 ) at the branch (B) or an external user (2) with remote access creates a file, a request is made to send this file to the center (A). The transfer demand is queued by the load balancer (10) and sent during the time intervals when the traffic density of the MPLS line (60) is low. Claims

CLAIMS1. A method to reduce data traffic density and cost when exchanging data and files between remote external users (2), internal users (1), center (A) and branches (B) in institutions, characterized by,• a user (1 , 2) transmitting a file generated by him / her to the center (A) via HTTP / HTTPS protocol,• providing data and file transfer between the center (A), branch (B) and users (1 ,2) via an MPLS line (60),• a load balancer (10) instantly monitoring the traffic density on the MPSL line,• receiving the metadata of the said file by a system software (20) and placing the file with the metadata received in the synchronization queue to be transferred to the central (A) databases,• MPLS line (60) triggering the software (20) load balancer (10) during periods of low traffic density and transferring the metadata and synchronized files to the central (A) databases in accordance with the order.

Method according to claim 1 , characterized by, in cases where files queued for synchronization need to be accessed quickly from the center and branches;• making a demand to the software in the system with the relevant file (20), performing on-demand synchronization,• transferring the demanded file transfer to the demanding user (1 , 2) using the SMB protocol instead of the HTTP / HTTPS protocol.

3. A method according to claim 1 , characterized in that; the files to be accessed quickly are kept in caches (70) in branches (A).

A system to reduce data traffic density and cost when exchanging data and files between remote external users (2), internal users (1), center (A) and branches (B) in institutions, characterized by comprising,• at least one file generated by users,• at least one software (20) that receives the metadata of the said files and puts them in a synchronization queue to transfer them to the databases in the center (A),• at least one software server (30) running said software,• at least one MPLS line (60) through which file transfer is provided,• a load balancer (10) that detects the traffic density on said MPLS line (60).

5. A system according to claim 4, characterized in that; it comprises an HTTP / HTTPS protocol for transferring data between users during standard synchronization time.

6. A system according to claim 4, characterized in that; it comprises an SMB protocol used for data transfer between users in on-demand synchronization processes performed when files queued for synchronization need to be accessed quickly from center and branches.

7. A system according to claim 4, characterized in that; it comprises a cache (70) and an SMB system (80), which are located in the branches (B) and enable file transfer via the SMB protocol.
