Abstract

Vehicle ceiling structure

[0001] The present disclosure relates to a vehicle ceiling structure.

[0002] BACKGROUND ART Generally, some vehicles are equipped with a glass roof in which an opening is provided in a part of the roof for the purpose of, for example, admitting light and the like, and the opening is closed with a glass plate (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

[0005] A vehicle ceiling structure according to one aspect of the present disclosure comprises a glass roof provided on a portion of the vehicle roof including the end portion in the vehicle width direction, and a cover member attached to the vehicle on the underside of the glass roof inside the vehicle at the end portion in the vehicle width direction at the upper end portion of the vehicle interior, covering vehicle components from the side, and the cover member extends so that the angle between the surface opposite the vehicle components at at least its upper part and the inner surface of the glass roof is 90° or less.

[0015] <Operation of the embodiment> When performing maintenance on the wire harness 19, first, the clips 27 of the multiple mounting portions 23 of the cover member 16 are pulled out from the multiple mounting holes 26, respectively, to remove the cover member 16 from the frame 25 of the vehicle 11. This exposes the wire harness 19, allowing maintenance of the wire harness 19. After maintenance on the wire harness 19, the clips 27 of the multiple mounting portions 23 of the cover member 16 are inserted into the multiple mounting holes 26, respectively, to attach the cover member 16 to the frame 25 of the vehicle 11.

Claims

1. A vehicle ceiling structure comprising: a glass roof provided on a portion of the vehicle roof including the end in the vehicle width direction; and a cover member attached to the vehicle on the underside of the glass roof inside the vehicle at the end in the vehicle width direction at the upper end of the vehicle interior, covering vehicle components from the side, wherein the cover member extends so that at least the upper surface of the cover member opposite the vehicle components forms an angle of 90° or less with the inner surface of the glass roof.

2. A vehicle ceiling structure as described in claim 1, further comprising a roof trim that is positioned below the cover member inside the vehicle and covers the vehicle component from below, the cover member extending from the upper end of the roof trim toward the end of the glass roof in the vehicle width direction.

3. A vehicle ceiling structure according to claim 1 or claim 2, wherein the cover member is detachably attached to the vehicle.
