Abstract
Description
Building materials
[0001] The present disclosure relates to building materials.
[0002] BACKGROUND ART Conventionally, a fitting having a wooden member and a metal member provided so as to cover the wooden member has been known (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
[0003] Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2021-17747
[0004] The above-mentioned conventional fittings have a problem in that the screws required for fastening the components together are visible from the inside of the room, which results in poor design.
[0005] Furthermore, because the conventional fixtures have a structure in which metal members are directly connected to wooden members, there is a possibility that water may get in between the metal members and the wooden members, which poses a problem of easily deteriorating the wooden members.
[0006] The present disclosure aims to provide fittings with improved design.
[0007] Furthermore, the present disclosure aims to provide a fixture that can suppress deterioration of wooden members.
[0008] One aspect of the present disclosure relates to a fixture that is attached to an opening in a building frame and has an indoor side portion made of a wooden member and an outdoor side portion made of a metal member that covers the indoor side portion from the outside, and in which a recess is formed in the indoor side portion into which components necessary for fixing can be placed.
[0009] Furthermore, another aspect of the present disclosure relates to a fitting that is attached to an opening in a building frame and has an indoor side portion made of a wooden member and an indoor side portion made of a metal member that covers the indoor side portion from the outside of the room, wherein an intervening member made of a material other than wood is arranged between the indoor side portion and the outdoor side portion, the indoor side portion has a glass-facing portion that faces the edge of the glass, and the intervening member is located at least between the edge of the glass and the glass-facing portion.

[0011] 1 to 13 show a fitting 1 according to a first embodiment. This fitting 1 is a vertical sliding window that is attached to a rectangular opening 101 formed in a building skeleton 100.
[0012] The fitting 1 is composed of a frame 2 attached around the inside of the opening 101, and a shoji screen 3 that can be opened and closed and stored in the frame 2. A wooden frame member 130 is provided around the inside X2 of the frame 2. The shoji screen 3 is configured so that the inside of the frame 2 can be opened by a user pushing open a handle 35 provided on the inside X2 of one of the vertical frames 33 towards the outside X1.
[0013] Here, the directions in each figure are defined. X1 indicates the outside side of the fitting 1, and X2 indicates the inside side of the fitting 1. The X1-X2 direction is the indoor-outdoor direction of the fitting 1 and indicates the front direction. In the fitting 1, the surface arranged along the front direction is defined as the front surface. The direction perpendicular to the front direction indicates the front direction of the fitting 1. The front direction is the width direction when the fitting is viewed from the front from the outside side X1 or the inside side X2. For example, the front direction of the upper frame and upper stile and the lower frame and lower stile is the up-down direction, and the front direction of the vertical frame and vertical stile is the left-right direction. In the fitting 1, the surface arranged along the front direction is defined as the front surface. In the front direction, the outside of the frame body 2 is defined as the outer periphery side, and the inside of the frame body 2 is defined as the inner periphery side. The surface facing the outer periphery side is defined as the outer surface, and the surface facing the inner periphery side is defined as the inner surface. In the direction perpendicular to the X1-X2 direction, the direction along the direction of gravity is defined as up and down, and the direction perpendicular to the direction of gravity and along the width direction of the fitting 1 is defined as left and right.
[0014] First, we will explain the frame body 2 that is attached to the inside of the opening 101. The frame body 2 is composed of an upper frame 21, a lower frame 22, and a pair of left and right vertical frames 23, 24 arranged in a rectangular shape. The frame body 2 has a vertically overlapping structure in which the upper frame 21 and the lower frame 22 are arranged in the left-right direction between the pair of vertical frames 23, 24. Here, the vertically overlapping structure is a structure in which vertical members and horizontal members are combined so that the end faces of the horizontal members (e.g., upper frame, lower frame, upper stile, lower stile) are covered by the vertical members (e.g., vertical frame, vertical stile).
[0015] The upper frame 21 is disposed above the opening 101 and extends in the left-right direction. As shown in Figures 2 and 4, the upper frame 21 is composed of an upper frame main body 211 made of wooden members and a metal frame portion 212 made of metal members. The metal frame portion 212 is disposed between the upper frame main body 211 and the building skeleton 100 and on the outdoor side X1 of the upper frame main body 211, so as to cover the outer periphery of the upper frame main body 211 and at least a portion of the visible surface on the outdoor side X1. Therefore, in the upper frame 21, the upper frame main body 211 is the indoor side portion, and the metal frame portion 212 is the outdoor side portion.
[0016] The upper frame body 211 is entirely made of wood (e.g., natural wood). As shown in Fig. 4, the upper frame body 211 has an exterior sighting surface 211a facing the exterior side X1, an interior sighting surface 211b facing the interior side X2, an outer surface 211c facing the building skeleton 100, and an inner surface 211d facing the lower frame 22. At the corner between the exterior sighting surface 211a and the inner surface 211d of the upper frame body 211, an accommodation recess 2111 is formed over the entire length of the upper frame body 211 to accommodate the upper frame stile 31 of the closed shoji screen 3 from the exterior side X1.
[0017] A recess 2112 recessed toward the outer surface 211c is formed on the inner surface 211d of the upper frame body 211, closer to the room side X2 than the accommodating recess 2111. The recess 2112 is formed in an elongated shape extending along the length of the upper frame body 211, but multiple recesses 2112 may be formed at intervals and in a pitch pattern along the length of the upper frame body 211.
[0018] The metal frame portion 212 is made of an extruded shape extruded from a metal material such as aluminum in the longitudinal direction of the upper frame 21. As shown in Figure 4, the metal frame portion 212 has a metal frame portion main body 2121 that extends along the projection direction and is arranged to cover the outer surface 211c of the upper frame main body 211, and an attachment piece 2122 that protrudes perpendicularly from near the center of the metal frame portion main body 2121 in the projection direction toward the outer periphery.
[0019] The end of the metal frame main body 2121 on the exterior side X1 protrudes further toward the exterior side X1 than the exterior facing surface 211a of the upper frame main body 211, and is positioned so as to cover the outer periphery of the upper frame 31 of the closed shoji screen. A protruding piece 2123 protruding toward the inner periphery is provided at the end of the metal frame main body 2121 on the exterior side X1. The exterior facing surface 211a of the upper frame main body 211 abuts against the protruding piece 2123 from the interior side X2. A fin member 2124 made of an elastic material such as rubber is attached to the protruding piece 2123. The fin member 2124 protrudes from the protruding piece 2123 toward the exterior side X1 and abuts against the upper frame 31 of the closed shoji screen 3 from the interior side X2.
[0020] A fixing portion 2125 of the upper frame body 211 is provided at the end of the metal frame body 2121 on the indoor side X2. The fixing portion 2125 is arranged at a position corresponding to the outer peripheral side of the position of the recess 2112 on the outer surface 211c of the upper frame body 211.
[0021] The upper frame 21 of the frame body 2 is fixed to the exterior side surface 100a of the building skeleton 100 by screws SC21a screwed in from the outside side X1, with the mounting pieces 2122 of the metal frame portion 212 abutting against the exterior side surface 100a of the building skeleton 100. The outer surface 211c of the upper frame main body 211 abuts from the inner periphery against the metal frame portion main body 2121 fixed to the building skeleton 100. The exterior visible surface 211a of the upper frame main body 211 abuts against the fin members 2124 of the protruding pieces 2123 from the inside side X2. In this state, the upper frame main body 211 is fixed to the metal frame portion 212 by screws SC21b inserted into the recesses 2112. That is, the screw SC21b inserted into the recess 2112 from the inner periphery of the upper frame body 211 passes through the upper frame body 211 and is screwed into the fixing portion 2125 of the metal frame portion 212. This fixes the upper frame 21 to the building skeleton 100.
[0022] The screw SC21b is a necessary component for fixing the fitting 1. Specifically, the screw SC21b is a fixing component required for fixing the upper frame body 211 to the metal frame portion 212. The head SC21b1 of this screw SC21b is completely contained within the recess 2112 and is therefore not visible from the inside X2 of the room. The recess 2112 is positioned closer to the inside X2 of the room than the shoji screen 3, making the fixing work easier and providing excellent workability. The screw SC21b screwed into the recess 2112 is difficult to access from the outside X1 when the shoji screen 3 is closed, providing excellent security.
[0023] As shown in FIG. 4 , a recessed groove 2113 is formed in the outer surface 211c of the upper frame body 211 to accommodate the end of the metal frame portion 212 on the indoor side X2. The fixing portion 2125 of the metal frame portion 212 is disposed in the recessed groove 2113. A portion of the upper frame body 211 closer to the indoor side X2 than the recessed groove 2113 covers the fixing portion 2125 from the indoor side X2. As a result, a facing portion 2114 is formed at the end of the upper frame body 211 on the indoor side X2, and is disposed to face the metal frame portion 212 from the indoor side X2. Because the end of the metal frame portion 212 on the indoor side X2 is covered by the facing portion 2114 from the indoor side X2, the metal frame portion 212 of the upper frame 21 is not visible from the indoor side X2 even when a frame member 130 is not provided.
[0024] The lower frame 22 is disposed below the opening 101 and extends in the left-right direction. As shown in Figures 2 and 5, the lower frame 22 is composed of a lower frame main body 221 made of wooden members and a metal frame portion 222 made of metal members. The metal frame portion 222 is disposed between the lower frame main body 221 and the building skeleton 100 and on the outdoor side X1 of the lower frame main body 221, and is disposed so as to cover the outer periphery of the lower frame main body 221 and at least a portion of the visible surface on the outdoor side X1. Therefore, in the lower frame 22, the lower frame main body 221 is the indoor side portion, and the metal frame portion 222 is the outdoor side portion.
[0025] The lower frame body 221 is entirely made of the same wood (e.g., natural wood) as the upper frame body 211. As shown in Fig. 5, the lower frame body 221 has an exterior sighting surface 221a arranged facing the exterior side X1, an interior sighting surface 221b arranged facing the interior side X2, an outer surface 221c arranged facing the building skeleton 100, and an inner surface 221d arranged facing the upper frame 21. A storage recess 2211 is formed in the corner between the exterior sighting surface 221a and the inner surface 221d of the lower frame body 221 to store the bottom frame 32 of the closed shoji screen 3 from the exterior side X1.
[0026] A recess 2212 recessed toward the outer surface 211c is formed on the inner surface 221d of the lower frame body 221, closer to the room side X2 than the accommodating recess 2211. The recess 2212 is formed in an elongated shape extending along the length of the lower frame body 221, but multiple recesses 2212 may be formed at intervals and in a pitch pattern along the length of the lower frame body 221.
[0027] The metal frame portion 222 is made of an extruded shape extruded from a metal material such as aluminum in the longitudinal direction of the lower frame 22. As shown in Fig. 5, the metal frame portion 222 has a metal frame portion main body 2221 that extends along the projection direction and is arranged to cover the outer surface 221c of the lower frame main body 221, and mounting pieces 2222 that protrude perpendicularly from near the center of the metal frame portion main body 2221 in the projection direction toward the outer periphery.
[0028] The end of the metal frame main body 2221 on the exterior side X1 protrudes further toward the exterior side X1 than the exterior facing surface 221a of the lower frame main body 221, and is positioned so as to cover the outside of the bottom frame 32 of the closed shoji screen 3. A protruding piece 2223 protruding toward the inner periphery is provided at the end of the metal frame main body 2221 on the exterior side X1. The exterior facing surface 221a of the lower frame main body 221 abuts against the protruding piece 2223 from the interior side X2. A fin member 2224 made of an elastic material such as rubber is attached to the protruding piece 2223. The fin member 2224 protrudes from the protruding piece 2223 toward the exterior side X1 and abuts against the bottom frame 32 of the closed shoji screen 3 from the interior side X2.
[0029] A fixing portion 2225 of the lower frame main body 221 is provided at the end of the metal frame main body 2221 on the indoor side X2. The fixing portion 2225 is arranged at a position corresponding to the outer peripheral side of the position of the recess 2212 on the outer surface 221c of the lower frame main body 221.
[0030] The lower frame 22 of the frame body 2 is fixed to the exterior side surface 100a of the building skeleton 100 with screws SC22a screwed in from the outside side X1, with the mounting pieces 2222 of the metal frame portion 222 abutting against the exterior side surface 100a of the building skeleton 100. The outer surface 221c of the lower frame main body 221 abuts from the inner periphery against the metal frame portion main body 2221 fixed to the building skeleton 100. The exterior visible surface 221a of the lower frame main body 221 abuts against the fin members 2224 of the protruding pieces 2223 from the inside side X2. In this state, the lower frame main body 221 is fixed to the metal frame portion 222 with screws SC22b inserted into the recesses 2212. That is, the screw SC22b inserted into the recess 2212 from the inner periphery of the lower frame body 221 passes through the lower frame body 221 and is screwed into the fixing portion 2225 of the metal frame body 2221. This fixes the lower frame 22 to the building skeleton 100.
[0031] The screw SC22b is a necessary component for fixing the fitting 1. Specifically, the screw SC22b is a fixing component required for fixing the lower frame body 221 to the building skeleton 100. The head SC22b1 of this screw SC22b is completely contained within the recess 2212 and is therefore not visible from the inside X2 of the room. The recess 2212 is positioned closer to the inside X2 of the room than the shoji screen 3, making the fixing work easier and providing excellent workability. The screw SC22b screwed into the recess 2212 is difficult to access from the outside X1 when the shoji screen 3 is closed, providing excellent security.
[0032] As shown in FIG. 5 , a recessed groove 2213 is formed on the outer surface 221c of the lower frame body 221. The recessed groove 2213 is recessed to accommodate the end of the metal frame portion 222 on the indoor side X2. The fixing portion 2225 of the metal frame portion 222 is disposed within the recessed groove 2213. A portion of the lower frame body 221 closer to the indoor side X2 than the recessed groove 2213 covers the fixing portion 2225 from the indoor side X2. As a result, a facing portion 2214 is formed at the end of the lower frame body 221 on the indoor side X2, and the facing portion 2214 is disposed to face the metal frame portion 222 from the indoor side X2. Because the end of the metal frame portion 222 on the indoor side X2 is covered by the facing portion 2214 from the indoor side X2, the metal frame portion 222 of the lower frame 22 is not visible from the indoor side X2 even when the frame member 130 is not provided.
[0033] The left and right vertical frames 23, 24 have the same configuration except for being symmetrical. The vertical frames 23, 24 are located on the left and right vertical portions of the opening 101 and extend vertically. As shown in Figures 3, 6, and 7, the vertical frames 23, 24 are composed of vertical frame main bodies 231, 241 made of wooden members and metal frame portions 232, 242 made of metal members. The metal frame portions 232, 242 are located between the vertical frame main bodies 231, 241 and the building skeleton 100, on the outdoor side X1 of the vertical frame main bodies 231, 241, and are positioned so as to cover at least a portion of the outer periphery of the vertical frame main bodies 231, 241 and the visible surface on the outdoor side X1. Therefore, in the vertical frames 23, 24, the vertical frame main bodies 231, 241 are indoor-side portions, and the metal frame portions 232, 242 are outdoor-side portions.
[0034] The vertical frame bodies 231, 241 are entirely made of the same wood (e.g., natural wood) as the upper frame body 211. As shown in Figures 6 and 7 , the vertical frame bodies 231, 241 have exterior sighting surfaces 231a, 241a arranged facing the exterior side X1, interior sighting surfaces 231b, 241b arranged facing the interior side X2, outer surfaces 231c, 241c arranged facing the building skeleton 100, and interior surfaces 231d, 241d arranged facing the opposing vertical frames 24, 23. At the corners between the exterior sighting surfaces 231a, 241a and the interior surfaces 231d, 241d of the vertical frame bodies 231, 241, storage recesses 2311, 2411 are formed to store the vertical stiles 33, 34 of the closed shoji screen 3 from the exterior side X1.
[0035] Recesses 2312, 2412 recessed toward the outer surfaces 231c, 241c are formed on the inner surfaces 231d, 241d on the indoor side X2 side of the vertical frame bodies 231, 241, closer to the interior side X2 than the storage recesses 2311, 2411. The recesses 2312, 2412 are formed in an elongated shape extending along the length of the vertical frame bodies 231, 241, but multiple recesses 2312, 2412 may be formed at intervals and at a pitch along the length of the vertical frame bodies 231, 241.
[0036] The metal frame portions 232, 242 are made of extruded shapes extruded from a metal material such as aluminum in the longitudinal direction of the vertical frames 23, 24. As shown in Figures 6 and 7 , the metal frame portions 232, 242 have metal frame portion main bodies 2321, 2421 that extend along the projection direction and are arranged to cover the outer surfaces 231c, 241c of the vertical frame main bodies 231, 241, and mounting pieces 2322, 2422 that protrude perpendicularly from near the center of the metal frame portion main bodies 2321, 2421 in the projection direction toward the outer periphery.
[0037] The ends of the metal frame bodies 2321, 2421 on the exterior side X1 protrude further toward the exterior side X1 than the exterior sighting surfaces 231a, 241a of the vertical frame bodies 231, 241, and are positioned so as to cover the outer peripheries of the vertical stiles 33, 34 of the shoji screen 3 when it is closed. The ends of the metal frame bodies 2321, 2421 on the exterior side X1 are provided with protrusions 2323, 2423 that protrude toward the interior periphery. The protrusions 2323, 2423 are positioned at a distance toward the exterior side X1 from the exterior sighting surfaces 231a, 241a of the vertical frame bodies 231, 241, so as to cover at least a portion of the exterior sighting surfaces 231a, 241a from the exterior side X1. Fin members 2324, 2424 made of an elastic material such as rubber are attached to the protrusions 2323, 2423. The fin members 2324, 2424 protrude from the protrusions 2323, 2423 toward the outside X1 and abut against the vertical frames 33, 34 of the shoji screen 3 in the closed state from the inside X2.
[0038] The indoor side X2 end portions of the metal frame main bodies 2321, 2421 constitute the fixing portions 2325, 2425 of the vertical frame main bodies 231, 241. The fixing portions 2325, 2425 are arranged at positions corresponding to the outer peripheral side of the positions of the recesses 2312, 2412 on the outer surfaces 231c, 241c of the vertical frame main bodies 231, 241.
[0039] The left and right vertical frames 23, 24 of the frame body 2 are fixed to the exterior side surface 100a by screws SC23a, SC24a that are screwed in from the outside X1, with the mounting pieces 2322, 2422 of the metal frame parts 232, 242 abutting against the exterior side surface 100a of the building skeleton 100. The outer surfaces 231c, 241c of the vertical frame main bodies 231, 241 abut from the inner periphery against the metal frame main bodies 2321, 2421 fixed to the building skeleton 100, and the exterior visible surfaces 231a, 241a of the vertical frame main bodies 231, 241 are positioned on the indoor side X2 of the protrusions 2323, 2423. In this state, the vertical frame bodies 231, 241 are fixed to the metal frame portions 232, 242 by screws SC23b, SC24b inserted into the recesses 2312, 2412. That is, the screws SC23b, SC24b inserted into the recesses 2312, 2412 from the inner periphery of the vertical frame bodies 231, 241 pass through the vertical frame bodies 231, 241 and are screwed into the fixing portions 2325, 2425 of the metal frame portions 232, 242. In this way, the vertical frames 23, 24 are fixed to the building skeleton 100.
[0040] The screws SC23b and SC24b are necessary components for fixing the fitting 1. Specifically, the screws SC23b and SC24b are fixing components required to fix the vertical frame bodies 231 and 241 to the building skeleton 100. The heads SC23b1 and SC24b1 of the screws SC23b and SC24b are completely housed in the recesses 2312 and 2412 and are therefore not visible from the inside X2. The recesses 2312 and 2412 are located closer to the inside X2 than the shoji screen 3, making the fixing work easier and providing excellent workability. The screws SC23b and SC24b screwed into the recesses 2312 and 2412 are difficult to access from the outside X1 when the shoji screen 3 is closed, providing excellent security.
[0041] 6 and 7 , grooves 2313, 2413 are formed on the outer surfaces 231c, 241c of the vertical frame bodies 231, 241. The grooves 2313, 2413 are recessed to accommodate the indoor side X2 end portions of the metal frame portions 232, 242. The fixing portions 2325, 2425 of the metal frame portions 232, 242 are disposed within the grooves 2313, 2413. The portions of the vertical frame bodies 231, 241 closer to the indoor side X2 than the grooves 2313, 2413 cover the fixing portions 2325, 2425 from the indoor side X2. As a result, opposing portions 2314, 2414 are formed at the indoor side X2 end portions of the vertical frame bodies 231, 241 so as to face the metal frame portions 232, 242 from the indoor side X2. The metal frame portions 232, 242 are covered by the opposing portions 2314, 2414 from the indoor side X2, and therefore cannot be seen from the indoor side X2 even if the frame member 130 is not provided.
[0042] After the frame body 2 is attached around the inner periphery of the opening 101 of the building skeleton 100, an exterior wall material 110 is installed on the exterior side X1 of the building skeleton 100. A sealant 111 is filled in the gaps between the exterior wall material 110 and the metal frame portions 212, 222, 232, and 242 of the frame body 2. A frame member 130 is attached around the interior side X2 of the frame body 2. The frame member 130 is made of wood, for example, and extends from the interior facing surfaces 211b, 221b, 231b, and 241b of the upper frame body 211, lower frame body 221, and vertical frame bodies 231 and 241 toward the interior side X2. An interior wall material 120 is installed around the outer periphery of the frame member 130 on the interior side X2 of the building skeleton 100.
[0043] 4 to 7, the recesses 2112, 2212, 2312, and 2412 of the upper frame 21, lower frame 22, and vertical frames 23 and 24 are provided with cover members 200 that cover the recesses 2112, 2212, 2312, and 2412, respectively. This makes it possible to conceal the screws SC21b, SC22b, SC23b, and SC24b that are screwed into the recesses 2112, 2212, 2312, and 2412, further improving the design of the fitting 1.
[0044] As shown in FIG. 8 , the cover member 200 has a cover portion 201 and an attachment portion 202. The cover portion 201 is exposed on the surfaces of the recesses 2112, 2212, 2312, and 2412, i.e., on the inner surfaces 211d, 221d, 231d, and 241d of the upper frame main body 211, the lower frame main body 221, and the vertical frame main bodies 231 and 241, respectively, and covers the recesses 2112, 2212, 2312, and 2412. The cover portion 201 may be configured to directly cover the recesses 2112, 2212, 2312, and 2412, or may be configured to indirectly cover the recesses 2112, 2212, 2312, and 2412 via another member (not shown). The attachment portion 202 is a portion that fits into and is housed in the recesses 2112, 2212, 2312, and 2412.
[0045] The cover portion 201 has approximately the same size as the openings of the recesses 2112, 2212, 2312, and 2412. Therefore, when the cover member 200 fits into the recesses 2112, 2212, 2312, and 2412, the cover portion 201 is positioned within the recesses 2112, 2212, 2312, and 2412 so as to cover the recesses 2112, 2212, 2312, and 2412. The attachment portion 202 is smaller than the cover portion 201. Therefore, when the cover member 200 is attached to the recesses 2112, 2212, 2312, and 2412, the attachment portion 202 fits into and is accommodated within the recesses 2112, 2212, 2312, and 2412.
[0046] The cover member 200 is made of a material based on the surrounding material on which the cover member 200 is provided. In this embodiment, of the cover portion 201 and the mounting portion 202, at least the cover portion 201 is made of a material based on the surrounding material on which the cover member 201 is provided. The material based on the surrounding material is a material selected based on the appearance of the surrounding material, for example, a material having the same or similar appearance as the surrounding material. More specifically, when the recesses 2112, 2212, 2312, and 2412 are surrounded by wooden members as in this embodiment, the cover portion 201 is made of the same wood (e.g., natural wood) as the wooden members. Note that the cover portion 201 is not limited to being made of the same wood as the wooden members, and may be made of a material having the same or similar appearance as the wooden members. When the cover portion 201 indirectly covers the recesses 2112, 2212, 2312, and 2412 via another member (not shown), the cover portion 201 is made of the same material as the other member. The cover 201 is not limited to being made of the same material as the other components, but may be made of a material having the same or similar appearance as the other components. This prevents the appearance of the frame 2 from being impaired when the recesses 2112, 2212, 2312, and 2412 are covered with the cover 200, and provides excellent design.
[0047] A holding member 203 is provided on the mounting portion 202. The holding member 203 is a member for holding the cover member 200 in the recesses 2112, 2212, 2312, and 2412. The holding member 203 shown in FIG. 8 is disposed at the tip of the mounting portion 202 and has a pair of fin portions 203a, 203a made of elastic material such as rubber that protrude toward the outdoor side X1 and the indoor side X2, respectively. However, the holding member 203 is not limited to being disposed at the tip of the mounting portion 202, and may be disposed closer to the cover portion 201 than the tip of the mounting portion 202. Furthermore, the holding member 203 may be provided so as to surround the outer periphery of the mounting portion 202.
[0048] The cover member 200 is inserted into the recesses 2112, 2212, 2312, and 2412 from the mounting portion 202 side. At this time, the fin portions 203 a, 203 a of the holding member 203 are pressed against the inner wall surfaces 2112 a, 2212 a, 2312 a, and 2412 a of the recesses 2112, 2212, 2312, and 2412, and the repulsive force generated at this time holds the cover member 200 in the recesses 2112, 2212, 2312, and 2412.
[0049] As shown in Fig. 9 , the retaining member 203 provided on the mounting portion 202 may have a pair of hollow portions 203b, 203b made of an elastic material such as rubber that protrude toward the outdoor side X1 and the indoor side X2, respectively. When the cover member 200 is inserted into the recesses 2112, 2212, 2312, 2412, the hollow portions 203b, 203b are elastically crushed and deformed by the inner wall surfaces 2112a, 2212a, 2312a, 2412a of the recesses 2112, 2212, 2312, 2412, and the repulsive force generated at this time holds the cover member 200 in the recesses 2112, 2212, 2312, 2412. The hollow portions 203b, 203b may be formed in the shape of a bag filled with air or in the shape of a tube that is open to the outside.
[0050] When the cover member 200 is attached so as to cover the recesses 2112, 2212, 2312, 2412, the surface cover portion 201 is positioned flush with the inner surfaces 211d, 221d, 231d, 241d of the upper frame body 211, the lower frame body 221, and the vertical frame bodies 231, 241, thereby improving the design. In order to ensure that the cover portion 201 is positioned flush with the inner surfaces 211d, 221d, 231d, and 241d, as shown in Figures 10 and 11, step portions 211d1, 221d1, 231d1, and 241d1 may be provided on the inner surfaces 211d, 221d, 231d, and 241d of the upper frame body 211, the lower frame body 221, and the vertical frame bodies 231 and 241 to accommodate the cover portion 201 flush with the inner surfaces 211d, 221d, 231d, and 241d.
[0051] When the cover portion 201 is positioned flush with the inner surfaces 211d, 221d, 231d, and 241d, in order to make it possible to easily remove the cover member 200 from the recesses 2112, 2212, 2312, and 2412, for example, a notch, groove, or hole (not shown) may be provided in a portion of the peripheral edge of the cover portion 201 for inserting a removal tool such as a flathead screwdriver.
[0052] 12 and 13, when cover member 200 is attached so as to cover recesses 2112, 2212, 2312, and 2412, cover portion 201 may be disposed so as to abut against inner surfaces 211d, 221d, 231d, and 241d around recesses 2112, 2212, 2312, and 2412. In this case, it is not necessarily necessary to provide a notch, groove, or hole for inserting a removal tool such as a flathead screwdriver, and therefore there is no risk of the design being impaired by processing cover portion 201 in this way.
[0053] Next, we will explain the shoji screen 3. The shoji screen 3 is constructed by fitting glass G as a face material into a frame body 30, which is a rectangular frame assembly consisting of an upper frame 31, a lower frame 32, and a pair of left and right vertical frames 33, 34. The frame body 30 has a vertically spaced structure in which the upper frame 31 and the lower frame 32 are arranged in the left-right direction between the left and right vertical frames 33, 34. The glass G shown in this embodiment is made of double-glazed glass having two glass sheets G1, G1 facing each other with a spacer member G2 in between, but the glass G may consist of one glass sheet G1 or three or more glass sheets.
[0054] As shown in Figure 4, the upper frame 31 is composed of an indoor portion 311 made of a wooden member, an outer flank 312, and an outdoor portion 313 made of a metal member. The outdoor portion 313 is arranged on the outdoor side X1 of the indoor portion 311 and the outer flank 312, and is arranged to cover the indoor portion 311 and the outer flank 312 from the outdoor side X1.
[0055] The indoor side portion 311 is entirely made of wood (e.g., natural wood). As shown in Figure 4, the indoor side portion 311 has an outdoor side facing surface 311a arranged facing the outdoor side X1, an indoor side facing surface 311b arranged facing the indoor side X2, an outer surface 311c arranged facing the building skeleton 100, and an inner surface 311d arranged facing the bottom frame 32. An upward protrusion 3111 is provided at the end of the outer surface 311c on the outdoor side X1. When the shoji screen 3 is closed, the upward protrusion 3111 is arranged on the outdoor side X1 of the protruding piece 2123 of the metal frame portion 212 of the upper frame 21, and abuts against the fin member 2124 from the outdoor side X1. When the shoji screen 3 is closed, the end portion of the indoor side portion 311 on the indoor side X2 is accommodated within the accommodation recess 2111 of the upper frame main body 211 of the upper frame 21.
[0056] A glass receiving recess 3112 for receiving the upper end of the glass G is formed on the inner surface 311d of the indoor side portion 311. The glass receiving recess 3112 is formed in a stepped shape by recessing the outer side X1 of the inner surface 311d upward. The glass receiving recess 3112 is formed so as to be open to the outer side X1.
[0057] The outer flaps 312 are made of the same wood or resin material as the indoor side portion 311 and are positioned on the outdoor side X1 of the glass housing recess 3112. Here, the flaps are parts that hold down the periphery of the glass. A notch 311e is provided at the end of the outdoor side X1 of the indoor side portion 311, cutting out between the outdoor facing surface 311a and the glass housing recess 3112. The outer flaps 312 fit into this notch 311e and protrude downward. The side surface 312a on the outdoor side X1 of the outer flaps 312 is positioned flush with the outdoor facing surface 311a of the indoor side portion 311.
[0058] The outdoor section 313 is made of an extruded profile extruded from a metal material such as aluminum in the longitudinal direction of the upper frame 31. The outdoor section 313 has an outdoor section main body 3131 that forms the visible surface of the outdoor side X1 of the upper frame 31, an outer end portion 3132 that is located at the outer peripheral end portion of the outdoor section main body 3131, and an inner end portion 3133 that is located at the inner peripheral end portion of the outdoor section main body 3131. The outer end portion 3132 and the inner end portion 3133 each protrude from the outdoor section main body 3131 toward the indoor side X2.
[0059] The outdoor portion 313 is attached to the indoor portion 311 and the outer ledge 312 from the outdoor side X1, and the outer end portion 3132 and inner end portion 3133 sandwich the upper protrusion 3111 of the indoor portion 311 and the outer ledge 312 from above and below. The outdoor portion 313 is attached to the indoor portion 311 with screws 31a that pass through the outer end portion 3132. In this way, the outdoor portion 313 is arranged to cover the indoor portion 311 and the outer ledge 312 from the outdoor side X1.
[0060] As shown in Figure 5, the lower frame 32 is composed of an indoor side portion 321 made of a wooden member, an outer flank 322, and an outdoor side portion 323 made of a metal member. The outdoor side portion 323 is arranged on the outdoor side X1 of the indoor side portion 321 and the outer flank 322, and is provided so as to cover the indoor side portion 321 and the outer flank 322 from the outdoor side X1.
[0061] The indoor side portion 321 is entirely made of the same wood (e.g., natural wood) as the indoor side portion 311 of the upper frame 31. As shown in FIG. 5 , the indoor side portion 321 has an outdoor facing surface 321a arranged facing the outdoor side X1, an indoor facing surface 321b arranged facing the indoor side X2, an outer surface 321c arranged facing the building skeleton 100, and an inner surface 321d arranged facing the upper frame 31. A downward protrusion 3211 that protrudes downward is provided at the end of the outer surface 321c on the outdoor side X1. When the shoji screen 3 is closed, the downward protrusion 3211 is arranged on the outdoor side X1 of the protruding piece 2223 of the metal frame portion 222 of the lower frame 22, and abuts against the fin member 2224 from the outdoor side X1. When the shoji screen 3 is closed, the end portion of the indoor side portion 321 on the indoor side X2 is accommodated within the accommodation recess 2211 of the lower frame main body 221 of the lower frame 22.
[0062] A glass receiving recess 3212 for receiving the lower end of the glass G is formed on the inner surface 321d of the indoor side portion 321. The glass receiving recess 3212 is formed in a stepped shape by recessing the outer side X1 of the inner surface 321d downward. The glass receiving recess 3212 is formed so as to open to the outer side X1. A buffer member G3 is arranged between the lower end of the glass G and the glass receiving recess 3212.
[0063] The outer flank 322 is made of the same wooden or resin material as the indoor side portion 321, and is positioned on the outdoor side X1 of the glass housing recess 3212. A notch 321e is provided at the end of the outdoor side X1 of the indoor side portion 321, cutting out the corner between the outdoor side visible surface 321a and the glass housing recess 3212. The outer flank 322 fits into this notch 321e and protrudes upward. The side surface 322a on the outdoor side X1 of the outer flank 322 is positioned flush with the outdoor side visible surface 321a of the indoor side portion 321.
[0064] The outdoor section 323 is made of an extruded member made of a metal material such as aluminum and extruded in the length direction of the lower frame 32. The outdoor section 323 has an outdoor section main body 3231 that forms the visible surface on the outdoor side X1 of the lower frame 32, an outer end portion 3232 that is located at the outer peripheral end portion of the outdoor section main body 3231, and an inner end portion 3233 that is located at the inner peripheral end portion of the outdoor section main body 3231. The outer end portion 3232 and the inner end portion 3233 each protrude from the outdoor section main body 3231 toward the indoor side X2.
[0065] The outdoor portion 323 is attached to the indoor portion 321 and the outer ledge 322 from the outdoor side X1, and the outer end portion 3232 and inner end portion 3233 sandwich the downward protrusion 3211 of the indoor portion 321 and the outer ledge 322 from above and below. The outdoor portion 323 is attached to the indoor portion 321 with screws 32a that pass through the outer end portion 3232. In this way, the outdoor portion 323 is arranged to cover the indoor portion 321 and the outer ledge 322 from the outdoor side X1.
[0066] 6 and 7, the left and right vertical frames 33, 34 are composed of indoor side sections 331, 341 made of wooden members, outer flaps 332, 342, and outdoor side sections 333, 343 made of metal members. The outdoor side sections 333, 343 are arranged on the outdoor side X1 of the indoor side sections 331, 341 and the outer flaps 332, 342, and are provided so as to cover the indoor side sections 331, 341 and the outer flaps 332, 342 from the outdoor side X1.
[0067] The indoor side sections 331, 341 are entirely made of the same wood (e.g., natural wood) as the indoor side section 311 of the upper frame 31. As shown in Figures 6 and 7, the indoor side sections 331, 341 have outdoor facing surfaces 331a, 341a arranged facing the outdoor side X1, indoor facing surfaces 331b, 341b arranged facing the indoor side X2, outer surfaces 331c, 341c arranged facing the building skeleton 100, and inner surfaces 331d, 341d arranged facing the opposing vertical frames 34, 33. The outer surfaces 331c, 341c are formed in a stepped pattern in the forward direction. The outer surfaces 331c, 341c have lateral protrusions 3311, 3411 protruding laterally at the ends of the outer surfaces 331c, 341c closest to the outdoor side X1. When the shoji screen 3 is closed, the lateral protrusions 3311, 3411 are arranged on the outdoor side X1 of the protrusions 2323, 2423 of the metal frame parts 232, 242 of the vertical frames 23, 24, and abut against the fin members 2324, 2424 from the outdoor side X1. When the shoji screen 3 is closed, the ends of the indoor side parts 331, 341 on the indoor side X2 are accommodated in the accommodation recesses 2311, 2411 of the vertical frame bodies 231, 241 of the vertical frames 23, 24.
[0068] Glass receiving recesses 3312, 3412 for receiving the left and right side edges of the glass G are formed on the inner surfaces 331d, 341d of the indoor side portions 331, 341. The glass receiving recesses 3312, 3412 are formed in a stepped shape by recessing the outdoor side X1 of the inner surfaces 331d, 341d toward the outer periphery. The glass receiving recesses 3312, 3412 are formed so as to open to the outdoor side X1.
[0069] The outer flaps 332, 342 are made of the same wooden or resin material as the indoor sections 331, 341 and are positioned on the outdoor side X1 of the glass housing recesses 3312, 3412. The outdoor side X1 ends of the indoor sections 331, 341 have cutouts 331e, 341e, which are cutouts of the corners between the outdoor-facing surfaces 331a, 341a and the glass housing recesses 3312, 3412. The outer flaps 332, 342 fit into these cutouts 331e, 341e and protrude inward. The side surfaces 332a, 342a on the outdoor side X1 of the outer flaps 332, 342 are positioned flush with the outdoor-facing surfaces 331a, 341a of the indoor sections 331, 341.
[0070] The outdoor sections 333, 343 are made of extruded shapes extruded from a metal material such as aluminum in the longitudinal direction of the vertical frames 33, 34. The outdoor sections 333, 343 have outdoor section main bodies 3331, 3431 that form the visible surface on the outdoor side X1 of the vertical frames 33, 34, outer end portions 3332, 3432 that are located at the outer peripheral end portions of the outdoor section main bodies 3331, 3431, and inner end portions 3333, 3433 that are located at the inner peripheral end portions of the outdoor section main bodies 3331, 3431. The outer end portions 3332, 3432 and the inner end portions 3333, 3433 protrude from the outdoor section main bodies 3331, 3431 toward the indoor side X2, respectively.
[0071] The outdoor sections 333, 343 are attached to the indoor sections 331, 341 and the outer ledges 332, 342 from the outdoor side X1, and the outer ends 3332, 3432 and inner ends 3333, 3433 sandwich the lateral protrusions 3311, 3411 of the indoor sections 331, 341 and the outer ledges 332, 342 from the left and right. The outdoor sections 333, 343 are attached to the indoor sections 331, 341 with screws 33a, 34a that pass through the outer ends 3332, 3432. As a result, the outdoor sections 333, 343 are arranged to cover the indoor sections 331, 341 and the outer ledges 332, 342 from the outdoor side X1.
[0072] As shown in Fig. 6, a handle 35 for opening and closing the shoji screen 3 is attached to the interior surface 331d of the indoor side portion 331 of one of the vertical frames 33, closer to the indoor side X2 than the glass G. As shown in Figs. 4 and 5, the shoji screen 3 is rotatably attached to the upper frame 21 and lower frame 22 of the frame body 2 by shaft members 36a, 36b provided at the upper and lower ends, respectively, of the other vertical frame 34. As shown in Figs. 4 to 7, when the shoji screen 3 is closed, the frame body 30 abuts from the outdoor side X1 against water-stopping materials 2111a, 2211a, 2311a, 2411a provided in the accommodation recesses 2111, 2211, 2311, 2411 of the frame body 2 and protruding toward the outdoor side X1.
[0073] In the fitting 1 described above, the recesses 2112, 2212, 2312, and 2412 are not limited to those provided in the frame 2. The recesses may be provided in the frame 30 so that components necessary for fastening can be placed therein. For example, as shown in FIG. 6 , a recess recessed from the outer surface 331c toward the inner surface 331d may be formed in the interior side portion 331 of the vertical frame 33 to which the handle 35 is attached. In this case, a metal back plate may be placed in the recess to improve the fastening strength of the handle 35, and the handle 35 may be fastened with a screw via the back plate. In this case, the screw and back plate constitute the components necessary for fastening the handle 35.
[0074] In the building fixture 1, a core material made of metal fittings such as stainless steel or carbon may be provided inside at least one of the wooden members of the frame 2, namely the upper frame body 211, the lower frame body 221, and the vertical frame bodies 231 and 241, and the indoor side portions 311, 321, 331, and 341, which are wooden members of the stile 30. This improves the fire resistance of the building fixture 1. Furthermore, providing a core material improves the strength of the frame 2 and the stile 30, making it possible to reduce the projected width of the wooden members and make them slimmer. In the building fixture 1, the upper frame body 211, the lower frame body 221, and the vertical frame bodies 231 and 241 do not have to have opposing portions 2114, 2214, 2314, and 2414. In addition, at least one of the upper frame body 211, the lower frame body 221, and the vertical frame bodies 231, 241 may have opposing portions 2114, 2214, 2314, 2414.
[0075] 14 to 28 show a fitting 1A according to a second embodiment. This fitting 1A is a sliding window attached to a rectangular opening 101 formed in a building skeleton 100. The directions in the figures in the second embodiment are defined in the same way as in the first embodiment.
[0076] The fitting 1A has a frame 4 attached around the inside of the opening 101, and an outer shoji screen 5, an inner shoji screen 6, and a screen door 7 that are slidably housed inside the frame 4 in the left-right direction. The screen door 7 is formed by stretching a mesh body 75 on the inside of a frame 70 made up of an upper frame 71, a lower frame 72, and left and right vertical frames 73, 74. The screen door 7 is not shown in Figure 14. As shown in Figure 15, a frame member 130 is provided around the inside surface X2 of the frame 4. The frame member 130 is made of wood, for example.
[0077] First, we will explain the frame 4 that is attached to the inside of the opening 101. The frame 4 is composed of an upper frame 41, a lower frame 42, and a pair of left and right vertical frames 43, 44, which are arranged in a rectangular shape. The frame 4 has a vertically spaced structure in which the upper frame 41 and the lower frame 42 are arranged in the left-right direction between the pair of vertical frames 43, 44.
[0078] The upper frame 41 is disposed above the opening 101 and extends in the left-right direction. As shown in Figures 16 and 18, the upper frame 41 has a metal frame portion 411 made of a metal member and a wooden frame portion 412 made of a wooden member. The wooden frame portion 412 is disposed on the inner surface side of the metal frame portion 411. The metal frame portion 411 and the wooden frame portion 412 are provided over the entire length of the upper frame 41.
[0079] As shown in Figure 18, the metal frame portion 411 is divided in the projection direction into an outdoor metal frame portion 4111 and an indoor metal frame portion 4112. The outdoor metal frame portion 4111 and the indoor metal frame portion 4112 are made of extruded shapes extruded in the length direction of the upper frame 41. The outdoor metal frame portion 4111 and the indoor metal frame portion 4112 are connected together by bridge portions 4113 made of insulating resin or the like.
[0080] An outdoor mounting piece 4114 protruding toward the outer periphery is formed at the end of the outdoor metal frame part 4111 on the indoor side X2. An indoor mounting piece 4115 protruding toward the indoor side X2 is formed at the end of the indoor side X2 of the indoor metal frame part 4112. The metal frame part 411 is attached to the outdoor side surface 100a of the building skeleton 100 with a screw SC41a that passes through the outdoor mounting piece 4114 from the outdoor side X1, and is attached to the upper inner periphery surface 100b of the building skeleton 100 with a screw SC41b that passes through the indoor mounting piece 4115 from the inner periphery.
[0081] The metal frame portion 411 integrally has, in this order from the outdoor side X1 to the indoor side X2, a screen rail 4116, an outdoor side guide rail 4117, and an indoor side guide rail 4118. The screen rail 4116, the outdoor side guide rail 4117, and the indoor side guide rail 4118 each extend over the entire length of the upper frame 41 and protrude toward the inner periphery of the metal frame portion 411.
[0082] As shown in FIG. 18 , the wooden frame 412 is located closer to the indoor side X2 than the indoor guide rail 4118 on the indoor metal frame 4112. Specifically, the wooden frame 412 extends from the indoor guide rail 4118 toward the indoor side X2 along the inner surface of the indoor metal frame 4112. The wooden frame 412 integrally includes a wooden frame main body 4121 that covers the space between the indoor guide rail 4118 and the indoor mounting piece 4115, and an angle portion 4122 that is located on the indoor side X2 of the wooden frame main body 4121. The angle portion 4122 protrudes inward from the wooden frame main body 4121 and has a rectangular cross section. The wooden frame 412 is fixed to the indoor metal frame 4112 by screws SC41c that are screwed into the indoor metal frame 4112 from the inner periphery of the wooden frame main body 4121. The angle portion 4122 abuts against the indoor mounting piece 4115 from the inner periphery side, covering and concealing the head of the screw SC41b.
[0083] An engaging protrusion 1311 protruding toward the exterior side X1 is formed on the end of the upper frame member 131 of the frame member 130 on the exterior side X1. An engaging groove 4123 that engages with the engaging protrusion 1311 of the upper frame member 131 is formed on the interior side X2 end face of the angle portion 4122. The upper frame member 131 is connected to the wooden frame member 412 by fitting the engaging protrusion 1311 into the engaging groove 4123 of the angle portion 4122 from the interior side X2. At this time, the inner surface 41222a of the angle portion 4122 and the inner surface 131a of the upper frame member 131 are positioned flush with each other along the projection direction. Since no step is formed between the angle portion 4122 of the wooden frame member 412 and the upper frame member 131, the design of the fitting 1A is improved.
[0084] A cover material 413 extending along the length of the upper frame 41 is disposed between the outdoor guide rail 4117 and the indoor guide rail 4118. The cover material 413 is formed in the shape of a flat plate and made of the same wood (e.g., natural wood) as the wooden frame portion 412, and is attached between the outdoor guide rail 4117 and the indoor guide rail 4118 by engagement.
[0085] The lower frame 42 is disposed below the opening 101 and extends in the left-right direction. As shown in Figures 16 and 19, the lower frame 42 has a metal frame portion 421 made of metal members and a wooden frame portion 422 made of wooden members. The wooden frame portion 422 is disposed on the inner surface side of the metal frame portion 421. The metal frame portion 421 and the wooden frame portion 422 are provided over the entire length of the lower frame 42.
[0086] As shown in Figure 19, the metal frame portion 421 is divided in the projection direction into an outdoor metal frame portion 4211 and an indoor metal frame portion 4212. The outdoor metal frame portion 4211 and the indoor metal frame portion 4212 are made of extruded shapes extruded in the length direction of the lower frame 42. The outdoor metal frame portion 4211 and the indoor metal frame portion 4212 are connected together by bridge portions 4213 made of insulating resin or the like.
[0087] An outdoor mounting piece 4214 protruding toward the outer periphery is formed at the indoor side X2 end of the outdoor metal frame part 4211. An indoor side mounting piece 4215 protruding toward the indoor side X2 is formed at the indoor side X2 end of the indoor metal frame part 4212. The metal frame part 421 is attached to the outdoor side surface 100a of the building skeleton 100 with a screw SC42a that passes through the outdoor mounting piece 4214 from the outdoor side X1, and is attached to the lower inner periphery surface 100b of the building skeleton 100 with a screw SC42b that passes through the indoor side mounting piece 4215 from the inner periphery.
[0088] The metal frame portion 421 integrally includes, in order from the outdoor side X1 to the indoor side X2, a screen rail 4216, an outdoor side guide portion 4217, and an indoor side guide portion 4218. The screen rail 4216, the outdoor side guide portion 4217, and the indoor side guide portion 4218 each extend over the entire length of the lower frame 42 and protrude toward the inner periphery of the metal frame portion 421.
[0089] A resin rail member 423 extending along the length of the lower frame 42 is attached by engagement between the outdoor guide portion 4217 and the indoor guide portion 4218. The rail member 423 has a hollow outdoor rail portion 4231 that rises upward along the outdoor guide portion 4217, a hollow indoor rail portion 4232 that rises upward along the indoor guide portion 4218, and a flat connecting portion 4233 that connects the outdoor rail portion 4231 and the indoor rail portion 4232 in the forward direction. Metal rail components 4231a and 4232a are attached to the upper ends of the outdoor rail portion 4231 and the indoor rail portion 4232, respectively. A resin cover material 424 is attached to the rail member 423 between the outdoor rail portion 4231 and the indoor rail portion 4232.
[0090] As shown in FIG. 19 , the wooden frame 422 is located closer to the indoor side X2 than the indoor rail 4232 of the indoor metal frame 4212. Specifically, the wooden frame 422 extends from the indoor rail 4232 toward the indoor side X2 along the inner surface of the indoor metal frame 4212. The wooden frame 422 integrally includes a wooden frame main body 4221 that covers the space between the indoor rail 4232 and the indoor mounting piece 4215, and an angle portion 4222 that is located on the indoor side X2 of the wooden frame main body 4221. The angle portion 4222 protrudes from the wooden frame main body 4221 toward the inner and outer peripheries, respectively, with a rectangular cross section. The wooden frame 422 is fixed to the indoor metal frame 4212 by screws SC42c that are screwed into the indoor metal frame 4212 from the inner periphery of the wooden frame main body 4221. The angle portion 4222 abuts against the indoor mounting piece 4215 from the inside, covering and concealing the head of the screw SC42b.
[0091] An engaging protrusion 1321 protruding toward the exterior side X1 is formed on the end of the lower frame member 132 of the frame member 130 on the exterior side X1. An engaging groove 4223 that engages with the engaging protrusion 1321 of the lower frame member 132 is formed on the end surface of the angle portion 4222 on the interior side X2. The lower frame member 132 is connected to the wooden frame member 422 by fitting the engaging protrusion 1321 into the engaging groove 4223 of the angle portion 4222 from the interior side X2. At this time, the inner surface 4222a of the angle portion 4222 and the inner surface 132a of the lower frame member 132 are aligned flush with each other along the projection direction. Since there is no step between the angle portion 4222 of the wooden frame member 422 and the lower frame member 132, the design of the fitting 1A is improved.
[0092] The left and right vertical frames 43, 44 are disposed on the left and right vertical portions of the opening 101 and extend in the up-down direction. As shown in Figures 17, 20, and 21, the vertical frames 43, 44 have metal frame portions 431, 441 made of metal members and wooden frame portions 432, 442 made of wooden members. The wooden frame portions 432, 442 are disposed on the inner surface side of the metal frame portions 431, 441. The metal frame portions 431, 441 and the wooden frame portions 432, 442 are provided over the entire length of the vertical frames 43, 44.
[0093] As shown in Figures 20 and 21, the metal frame portions 431, 441 extend along the front-to-back direction. The metal frame portions 431, 441 are made of extruded shapes extruded in the longitudinal direction of the vertical frames 43, 44. At the center of the front-to-back direction of the metal frame portions 431, 441, exterior mounting pieces 4311, 4411 are formed that protrude toward the outer periphery. At the end of the metal frame portions 431, 441 on the indoor side X2, interior mounting pieces 4312, 4412 are formed that protrude toward the indoor side X2. The metal frame portions 431, 441 are attached to the exterior side 100a of the building structure 100 by screws SC43a, SC44a that pass through the exterior mounting pieces 4311, 4411 from the exterior side X1, and are attached to the inner surfaces 100b on the left and right vertical sides of the building structure 100 by screws SC43b, SC44b that pass through the interior mounting pieces 4312, 4412 from the inner side.
[0094] 20, the metal frame portion 431 of the right-side vertical frame 43 as viewed from the outside side X1 integrally comprises, in order from the outside side X1 toward the inside side X2, a screen door engaging projection 4313 that engages with the vertical stile 74 on the vertical frame 44 side of the screen door 7, an outer screen door engaging projection 4314 that engages with the door edge stile 53 of the outer screen 5, an attachment projection 4315 for attaching the outside side X1 end of the wooden frame portion 432, and an attachment projection 4316 for attaching the inside side X2 end of the wooden frame portion 432. The screen door engaging projection 4313, the outer screen door engaging projection 4314, and the attachment projections 4315, 4316 each extend over the entire length of the vertical frame 43 and protrude toward the inner periphery of the metal frame portion 431.
[0095] As shown in Figure 20, the wooden frame 432 is attached between the mounting projections 4315, 4316 of the metal frame 431. More specifically, the wooden frame 432 integrally comprises a wooden frame main body 4321 that fits between the mounting projections 4315, 4316, and an angle portion 4322 that is provided on the indoor side X2 of the wooden frame main body 4321. The angle portion 4322 extends from the inner periphery of the mounting projection 4316 further toward the indoor side X2 and is positioned so as to cover the indoor side mounting projection 4312 of the metal frame 431 from the inner periphery. The inner surface 432a of the wooden frame 432 is formed flat over the entire projecting direction.
[0096] The wooden frame 432 is fixed to the mounting projection 4315 by a screw SC43c which passes through the mounting projection 4315 from the outside X1 and is screwed into the wooden frame main body 4321, and is fixed to the mounting projection 4316 by a screw SC43d which passes through the mounting projection 4316 from the inside X2 and is screwed into the wooden frame main body 4321.
[0097] An engaging protrusion 1331 protruding toward the exterior side X1 is formed on the end of the vertical frame member 133 of the frame member 130 on the exterior side X1. An engaging groove 4323 that engages with the engaging protrusion 1331 of the vertical frame member 133 is formed on the end surface of the angle portion 4322 on the interior side X2. The vertical frame member 133 is connected to the wooden frame portion 432 by fitting the engaging protrusion 1331 into the engaging groove 4323 of the angle portion 4322 from the interior side X2. At this time, the inner surface 432a of the wooden frame portion 432 and the inner surface 133a of the vertical frame member 133 are aligned flush with each other along the projection direction. Since there is no step between the wooden frame portion 432 and the vertical frame member 133, the design of the fitting 1A is improved.
[0098] 21 , the metal frame portion 441 of the left-hand vertical frame 44 when viewed from the outside side X1 integrally comprises, in this order from the outside side X1 to the inside side X2, a screen door engaging projection 4413 that engages with the vertical stile 74 on the vertical frame 44 side of the screen door 7, an inner shoji door engaging projection 4414 that engages with the door edge stile 63 of the inner shoji door 6, and an attachment projection 4415 for attaching the wooden frame portion 442. The screen door engaging projection 4413, the inner shoji door engaging projection 4414, and the attachment projection 4415 each extend over the entire length of the vertical frame 44 and protrude toward the inner periphery of the metal frame portion 441.
[0099] As shown in Figure 21, the wooden frame 442 is attached to the indoor side X2 of the mounting projection 4415 of the metal frame 441. More specifically, the wooden frame 442 integrally comprises a wooden frame main body 4421 with a rectangular cross section that abuts against the mounting projection 4415 from the indoor side X2, and an angled portion 4422 that extends from the inner peripheral end of the wooden frame main body 4421 toward the indoor side X2. The inner surface 442a of the wooden frame 442 is formed flat over the entire projection direction.
[0100] The wooden frame 442 is fixed to the mounting projection 4415 by a screw SC44c that passes through the mounting projection 4415 from the outdoor side X1 and is screwed into the wooden frame main body 4421. The wooden frame 442 covers the indoor side mounting projection 4412 of the metal frame 441 from the inner periphery.
[0101] An engaging protrusion 1341 protruding toward the exterior side X1 is formed on the end of the vertical frame member 134 of the frame member 130 on the exterior side X1. An engaging groove 4423 that engages with the engaging protrusion 1341 of the vertical frame member 134 is formed on the end surface of the angle portion 4422 on the interior side X2. The vertical frame member 134 is connected to the wooden frame portion 442 by fitting the engaging protrusion 1341 into the engaging groove 4423 of the angle portion 4422 from the interior side X2. At this time, the inner surface 442a of the wooden frame portion 442 and the inner surface 134a of the vertical frame member 134 are aligned flush with each other along the projection direction. Since there is no step between the wooden frame portion 442 and the vertical frame member 134, the design of the fitting 1A is improved.
[0102] After the frame body 4 is attached around the inner periphery of the opening 101 of the building skeleton 100, an exterior wall material 110 is installed on the outdoor side X1 of the building skeleton 100. A sealant 111 is filled in the gaps between the exterior wall material 110 and the metal frame parts 411, 421, 431, 441 of the frame body 2. On the indoor side X2 of the building skeleton 100, an interior wall material 120 is installed on the outer periphery of the frame member 130.
[0103] The wooden frame sections 412, 422, 432, and 442 of the frame body 4 can be removed from the frame body 4 simply by removing the screws SC41c, SC42c, SC43c, SC43d, and SC44c, respectively. This eliminates the need to remove the metal frame sections 411, 421, 431, and 441 from the building skeleton 100, making it easier to replace the wooden frame sections 412, 422, 432, and 442. The wooden frame sections 412, 422, 432, and 442 have integral angle sections 4122, 4222, 4322, and 4422, respectively, and therefore function as angle pieces, eliminating the need to provide separate angle members.
[0104] Next, we will explain the outer shoji 5 and inner shoji 6 that are housed inside the frame body 4. Since the outer shoji 5 and inner shoji 6 have a symmetrical structure, the outer shoji 5 and inner shoji 6 will be explained together below.
[0105] As shown in Figures 18 to 22, the outer shoji screen 5 and the inner shoji screen 6 are each constructed by fitting glass G as a face material into rectangular assembled frames 50, 60. In this embodiment, the glass G is constructed of triple glazing, consisting of three glass panes G1 stacked with spacer members G2 between them. However, the glass G of the outer shoji screen 5 and the inner shoji screen 6 is not limited to triple glazing, and may be any glass pane containing one or more glass panes G1. The outer shoji screen 5 is fitted between the exterior guide rail 4117 of the upper frame 41 and the exterior rail portion 4231 of the lower frame 42 so as to be slidable left and right. The inner shoji screen 6 is fitted between the interior guide rail 4118 of the upper frame 41 and the interior rail portion 4232 of the lower frame 42 so as to be slidable left and right.
[0106] The frames 50, 60 are formed by assembling upper frames 51, 61, lower frames 52, 62, end frames 53, 63, and joint frames 54, 64 into a rectangular shape. The frames 50, 60 have a vertically spaced structure in which the upper frames 51, 61 and lower frames 52, 62 are attached between the left and right end frames 53, 63 and joint frames 54, 64. Of the upper frames 51, 61, lower frames 52, 62, end frames 53, 63, and joint frames 54, 64, the upper frames 51, 61, lower frames 52, 62, and end frames 53, 63 have essentially the same configuration, so the upper frames 51, 61, lower frames 52, 62, and end frames 53, 63 will be described with reference to Figures 23 and 24.
[0107] Here, the door edge frame is the vertical frame that is positioned at the front of the shoji screen as it moves in the closing direction, and the door edge frame is the vertical frame that is positioned at the rear of the shoji screen as it moves in the closing direction.
[0108] The upper frames 51, 61, the lower frames 52, 62, and the end frames 53, 63 have an indoor side portion 81, an outdoor side portion 82, and an intervening member 83. The indoor side portion 81 is located on the indoor side X2 of the upper frames 51, 61, the lower frames 52, 62, and the end frames 53, 63. The outdoor side portion 82 is located on the outdoor side X1 of the upper frames 51, 61, the lower frames 52, 62, and the end frames 53, 63. The intervening member 83 is located between the indoor side portion 81 and the outdoor side portion 82. The outdoor side portion 82 covers the entire indoor side portion 81 and the intervening member 83 from the outdoor side X1.
[0109] The indoor section 81 includes at least a wooden member. Specifically, the indoor section 81 of this embodiment includes a wood section 811 made of wood (e.g., natural wood) and a heterogeneous section 812 made of a material different from the wood (e.g., natural wood). The wood section 811 is formed, for example, from the same wood (e.g., natural wood) as the wooden frame sections 412, 422, 432, and 442 of the frame body 4 and is located on the indoor side X2 of the indoor section 81. The heterogeneous section 812 is formed, for example, from a wood board such as MDF (medium density fiberboard) or a resin material. The wood section 811 and the heterogeneous section 812 are integrated with fixing members such as adhesive, double-sided adhesive tape, and screws (not shown). This allows for a reduction in the amount of wood (e.g., natural wood) used without compromising the design of the outer shoji screen 5 and the inner shoji screen 6 when viewed from the indoor side X2. However, the entire indoor side portion 81 may be formed from wood (e.g., natural wood).
[0110] A pair of mounting grooves 8121, 8121 for mounting the interposition member 83 are formed on the surface of the foreign material portion 812 of the indoor side portion 81 facing the outdoor side X1.
[0111] An inner flange 813 is provided at the end of the indoor side X2 of the indoor side portion 81, protruding toward the inner periphery and flush with the indoor side visible surface 81a of the indoor side portion 81. The inner flange 813 is formed with a rectangular cross section and made of the same wood (e.g., natural wood) as the wood portion 811, and extends the entire length of the indoor side portion 81. The inner flange 813 is attached to the indoor side portion 81 with screws 8a.
[0112] A resin drainage member 814 is attached to the exterior side X1 of the inner ledge 813 with a screw 8b screwed in from the exterior side X1. The drainage member 814 has a main body 8141 extending along the height of the inner ledge 813, a drainage groove 8142 integrally formed with the inner circumferential end of the main body 8141, and a contact piece 8143 integrally formed with the outer circumferential end of the main body 8141. The drainage groove 8142 is groove-shaped and opens toward the interior circumferential side, protruding from the inner circumferential end of the main body 8141 toward the exterior side X1. The drainage groove 8142 is flush with the inner end surface 813a of the inner ledge 813 and does not protrude further inward than the inner ledge 813. A water-stopping material 8144 is provided on the exterior side X1 surface of the drainage groove 8142, abutting against the glass G from the interior side X2 to seal the gap between the glass G and the drainage groove 8142. The contact piece portion 8143 protrudes from the outer peripheral end of the main body portion 8141 toward the outdoor side X1.
[0113] In the indoor side portion 81, a glass-facing portion 815 is formed on the outdoor side X1 from the inner flange 813, facing the end of the glass G housed in the frame 50, 60. The glass-facing portion 815 is positioned on the outdoor side X1 from the inner flange 813, and is formed by a flat surface spanning the wood portion 811 and the heterogeneous portion 812. The glass-facing portion 815 only needs to be formed to face the end of the glass G, and is not necessarily limited to being formed parallel to the end face of the glass G.
[0114] At the outer peripheral end of the indoor side part 81, engagement grooves 816 are formed that engage with the outdoor guide rail 4117 and indoor guide rail 4118 of the upper frame 41, the outdoor rail part 4231 and indoor rail part 4232 of the lower frame 42, the outer sash engagement protrusion 4314 of the vertical frame 43, and the inner sash engagement protrusion 4414 of the vertical frame 44. At the outer peripheral end of the wood part 811 of the indoor side part 81, a fin member 817 made of an elastic material such as rubber is provided so as to protrude toward the engagement groove 816. As shown in Figure 24, a door roller R is provided in the engagement groove 816 of the lower frames 52, 62.
[0115] The exterior section 82 is made of an extruded profile extruded from a metal material such as aluminum. The exterior section 82 integrally includes an exterior section main body 821 that forms the visible surface of the exterior side X1 of the upper frames 51, 61, the lower frames 52, 62, and the end frames 53, 63, a glass support section 822 that protrudes from the inner peripheral end of the exterior section main body 821 toward the interior side X2, a protruding piece 823 that protrudes from the outer peripheral end of the exterior section main body 821 toward the interior side X2, and a pair of engaging claws 824, 824 that protrude toward the interior side X2 from between the glass support section 822 and the protruding piece 823.
[0116] The glass support portion 822 has a rectangular cross section and a hollow portion 8221 formed therein. A water stop material 825 is provided at the inner peripheral end of the glass support portion 822, abutting against the glass G from the exterior side X1 and sealing the gap with the glass G. Furthermore, an engagement protrusion 826 is provided at the outer peripheral end of the glass support portion 822, protruding toward the interior side X2. A fin member 827 made of an elastic material such as rubber is provided on the protruding portion 823, protruding toward the engagement groove 816. A water stop material (not shown) may be provided on the protruding portion 823 to seal the gap with the interior side portion 81.
[0117] The intervening member 83 is formed from a material, specifically a resin material or a metal material, different from the material used for the indoor side portion 81. The intervening member 83 is located at least between the end of the glass G and the glass-facing portion 815. The intervening member 83 integrally includes a base portion 831 extending in the forward direction along the glass-facing portion 815 of the indoor side portion 81, and an exterior-side surface-facing portion 832 extending from the end of the base portion 831 on the outdoor side X1 toward the outer periphery and covering the surface of the indoor side portion 81 on the outdoor side X1.
[0118] The inner peripheral surface of the base portion 831 is formed with a pair of rising portions 833, 833 that rise from the end on the indoor side X2 toward the end of the glass G, and an L-shaped engaging portion 834 that protrudes from the pair of rising portions 833, 833 toward the outdoor side X1. The engaging portion 834 is formed in a groove shape that opens toward the outdoor side X1. The outer peripheral surface of the base portion 831 is formed with multiple protrusions 835a that protrude at the same height toward the glass-facing portion 815. The end of the base portion 831 on the indoor side X2 is provided with a water-stopping material 836 that abuts against the inner flange 813 of the indoor side portion 81 from the outdoor side X1 to seal.
[0119] A pair of engagement pieces 837, 837 protrude from the surface of the outdoor side surface facing the outdoor unit 832 facing the outdoor side X1, and engage with a pair of engagement claws 824, 824 provided on the outdoor unit 82. A pair of insertion pieces 838, 838 protrude from the surface of the indoor side surface facing the outdoor unit 832 facing the indoor side X2, and are inserted into a pair of mounting grooves 8121, 8121 on the indoor unit 81. Each insertion piece 838 is formed with a plurality of elastic pieces 838a that are elastically inserted into the mounting grooves 8121. Furthermore, a plurality of protrusions 835b that protrude at the same height toward the surface of the outdoor side surface facing the indoor unit 81 facing the outdoor side X1 are formed on the outer peripheral end of the outdoor side surface facing the outdoor unit 832, and a water stop material 839 that abuts against and seals the indoor unit 81 from the outdoor side X1.
[0120] The intervening member 83 is fixed to the indoor side portion 81 by inserting a pair of insertion pieces 838 into a pair of mounting grooves 8121 in the indoor side portion 81 and using screws 8c that penetrate the base portion 831 from the inner periphery. The base portion 831 is arranged along the glass-facing portion 815. The abutment piece portion 8143 of the drainage member 814 abuts against the rising portion 833 of the base portion 831 from the inner periphery.
[0121] The outdoor section 82 is attached from the outdoor side X1 to the intervening member 83 attached to the indoor section 81. The outdoor section 82 is attached to the intervening member 83 by engaging a pair of engaging pieces 837, 837 of the intervening member 83 between a pair of engaging claws 824, 824 of the outdoor section 82 and inserting the engaging protrusion 826 of the outdoor section 82 into the groove-shaped engaging portion 834 of the intervening member 83.
[0122] This forms the upper frames 51, 61, the lower frames 52, 62, and the door end frames 53, 63. The edge of the glass G is housed between the drainage member 814 attached to the inner ledge 813 and the glass support portion 822 via the buffer member G3. The glass G is sandwiched between the water-stopping material 8144 of the drainage member 814 and the water-stopping material 825 of the glass support portion 822. Even if condensation occurs on the exterior portion 82, the interposition member 83 disposed between the interior portion 81 and the exterior portion 82 prevents the interior portion 81 from becoming wet with condensed water. Even if water seeps in between the glass G and the water-stopping material 825, it is blocked by the base portion 831 of the interposition member 83, preventing the glass-facing portion 815 from becoming wet. The base portion 831 has a pair of raised portions 833, 833 at the end on the indoor side X2, so water does not penetrate up to the inner ledge 813. A drainage member 814 is provided between the glass G and the inner ledge 813, so even if condensation water that forms on the glass G spreads toward the upper frames 51, 61, lower frames 52, 62, and door end frames 53, 63, the condensation water remains in the drainage groove 8142 of the drainage member 814 and is not at risk of flowing out to the inner ledge 813.
[0123] The interposition member 83 contacts the indoor-side portion 81 via a plurality of protrusions 835a, 835b. Therefore, as shown in Figures 18 to 20, a hollow portion S1 consisting of a gap between the indoor-side portion 81 and the interposition member 83 is formed between the two. This ensures an air flow path between the indoor-side portion 81 and the interposition member 83, thereby suppressing corrosion of the indoor-side portion 81 due to moisture, etc. Furthermore, a hollow portion S2 consisting of a gap between the outdoor-side portion 82 and the interposition member 83 is also formed between the two, so even if condensation occurs on the outdoor-side portion 82, the condensed water is less likely to adhere to the interposition member 83.
[0124] The outdoor portion 82 of the upper frame 51, 61, the lower frame 52, 62, and the door end frame 53, 63 may be divided into multiple parts and integrated by fitting together. In this case, a waterproof material may be provided at the fitting portion. The hollow portions S1, S2 may not be formed.
[0125] Next, the joint frames 54, 64 of the frame bodies 50, 60 are shown in Figures 25 and 26. Since the parts with the same reference numerals as the upper frames 51, 61, the lower frames 52, 62 and the end frames 53, 63 have the same configuration, the explanation of these parts is omitted below and the explanation above is used.
[0126] First, referring to Figure 25, the door frame 54 of the outer door screen 5 will be described. The exterior side portion of the door frame 54 of the outer door screen 5 is divided into a first exterior side portion 82A arranged on the exterior side X1 of the door frame 54 and a second exterior side portion 82B arranged on the outer periphery of the door frame 54. The first exterior side portion 82A has the same configuration as the exterior side portions 82 of the upper frames 51, 61, lower frames 52, 62, and end frames 53, 63, except that it does not have a fin member 827. The second exterior side portion 82B integrally comprises an exterior side portion 8281 that forms the exterior surface of the door frame 54 and an interior side portion 8282 that extends from the end of the exterior side portion 8281 on the interior side X2 toward the inner periphery.
[0127] The outer surface portion 8281 is provided with a pair of engaging claws 8283, 8283 that protrude toward the inner periphery. The indoor surface portion 8282 is formed with an abutment portion 8284 that is bent into a rectangular shape toward the outdoor side X1 and abuts against the indoor side visible surface 81a of the indoor side portion 81, and an extension piece 8285 that extends toward the inner periphery from the abutment portion 8284. The connection portion between the outer surface portion 8281 and the indoor surface portion 8282 is provided with a fin member 8286 that abuts against the joint frame 64 of the inner shoji screen 6 when the outer shoji screen 5 and the inner shoji screen 6 are closed.
[0128] The intervening member 83 extends from the outer end of the outdoor-side surface facing portion 832 that covers the surface of the indoor-side portion 81 on the outdoor side X1 toward the indoor side X2, and integrally has an outdoor-side surface facing portion 8321 that covers the outer side surface 81b of the indoor-side portion 81. A pair of engaging pieces 8371, 8371 protrude from the outdoor-side surface facing portion 8321 and engage with a pair of engaging claws 8283, 8283 of the second outdoor-side portion 82B. A plurality of protrusions 835c that protrude at the same height toward the outer side surface 81b of the indoor-side portion 81 are formed on the inner peripheral surface of the outdoor-side surface facing portion 8321.
[0129] The intervening member 83 of the joint frame 54 is attached so as to sandwich the indoor-side portion 81 between the base portion 831 and the outer-surface facing portion 8321. The second outdoor-side portion 82B is attached from the outer periphery to the intervening member 83 attached to the indoor-side portion 81. The second outdoor-side portion 82B is attached to the intervening member 83 by engaging a pair of engagement pieces 8371, 8371 of the outer-surface facing portion 8321 of the intervening member 83 between a pair of engagement claws 8283, 8283. The abutting portion 8284 abuts against the indoor-side visible surface 81a of the indoor-side portion 81. The second outdoor-side portion 82B is attached to the indoor-side portion 81 with a screw 8d that passes through the abutting portion 8284 from the indoor side X2.
[0130] An outer peripheral end 821a of the outdoor side part main body 821 of the first outdoor side part 82A and an outdoor side X1 end 8281a of the outer surface part 8281 of the second outdoor side part 82B abut against each other. This abutting portion may be formed to fit into each other. A waterproof material (not shown) may be provided at the fitting portion.
[0131] Next, the joint frame 64 of the inner shoji screen 6 will be described with reference to Figure 26. In the indoor side part 81 of the joint frame 64 of the inner shoji screen 6, the wood part 811 is formed with an L-shaped cross section across the indoor side facing surface 81a and the outer surface 81b of the joint frame 64. The outdoor side part main body 821 of the outdoor side part 82 is formed with an extension piece 8211 that protrudes toward the outdoor side X1 and extends in an L shape toward the inner periphery. A brush member 8212 that protrudes toward the outdoor side X1 is provided at the outer end of the outdoor side part main body 821.
[0132] As shown in Figure 22, when the outer and inner shoji screens 5 and 6 are closed, the extension piece 8285 of the joint frame 54 and the extension piece 8211 of the joint frame 64 engage so as to overlap in the forward direction. This forms a labyrinth with a maze-like air flow path between the joint frame 54 and the joint frame 64. Fin members 8286 and brush members 8212 are arranged on the left and right sides of the labyrinth to seal the gap between the joint frame 54 and the joint frame 64. This improves the airtightness between the joint frame 54 and the joint frame 64.
[0133] The drain grooves 8142 of each drain member 814 in the frame bodies 50, 60 are connected around the entire circumference. Therefore, condensation water on the glass G flows down the drain grooves 8142 of each drain member 814 and into the drain grooves 8142 of the drain members 814 provided on the bottom frames 52, 62. As shown in FIG. 27 , the drain grooves 8142 of the drain members 814 provided on the bottom frames 52, 62 are formed with drain holes 8142a. The drain holes 8142a are located at both ends of the drain grooves 8142. As shown in FIG. 28 , a drain pipe 8142b connected to the drain hole 8142a is provided inside the indoor side portion 81 of the bottom frames 52, 62. This allows water that flows into the drain grooves 8142 of the bottom frames 52, 62 to be discharged below the bottom frames 52, 62 through the drain pipe 8142b. Condensation water is prevented from remaining on the frames 50 and 60, thereby preventing moisture from contaminating or corroding the indoor section 81. The drain pipe 8142b is made of, for example, a resin material. This makes the drain pipe 8142b itself less susceptible to corrosion by water.
[0134] In the frames 50 and 60, the intervening members 83 are not limited to those that cover the entire outdoor side X1 of the indoor side portion 81. The intervening members 83 may only cover at least a portion of the indoor side portion 81 from the outdoor side X1.
