Abstract
Description
[0001] A SHOE DRYING BOX FOR USE IN TUMBLE DRYERS
[0002] TECHNICAL FIELD
[0003] The invention relates to a shoe drying box for ensuring that items such as shoes and slippers are dried inside a tumble dryer drum without damage.
[0004] PRIOR ART
[0005] Tumble dryers, which are widely used today, make people's lives easier by providing fast and effective drying of laundry. Dryers have three different types: heat pump, condenser, and vented dryers. In existing tumble dryers, users occasionally need to dry their shoes as well. For this need, there are shoe drying apparatus available in the market. These apparatuses are usually fixed inside the drum and the shoes are dried such that they remain stationary during the drum movement.
[0006] Application No. TR2021 / 013093 known in the literature relates to a washing machine and / or dryer comprising a fixing element preventing the drying basket from detaching from the connection unit after installation on the connection unit in the washing machine and / or dryer, especially during transportation. In order to prevent damage to certain delicate laundry or to shoes and similar products containing hard and heavy materials from being subjected to pushing and pulling forces due to the movement of the drum, said washing machine and / or dryer is equipped with at least one drying basket that can be installed and removed from the drum and mounted in a way that it is not affected by the rotational movement of the drum. However, the available solutions have some limitations and disadvantages.
[0007] Existing shoe drying apparatus is fixed in the drum, allowing only shoes to be dried. In this case, laundry cannot be placed in the drum while the shoes are dried. This causes users to not be able to dry laundry and shoes simultaneously, thus wasting time. Fixing the shoe drying apparatus in the drum causes the shoes to remain stationary during the drum movement and does not ensure an effective drying performance. Since the shoes do not rotate with the drum movement, this reduces the efficiency of the drying process. In addition, when the shoe hanging apparatuses are located in the drum, they may come into contact with the laundry and the apparatus may become dislodged during the drum movement. This carries the risk of damaging the machine.
[0008] As a result, all the above-mentioned problems have made it imperative to make an innovation in the relevant technical field.
[0009] SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0010] The present invention relates to a shoe drying box for eliminating the above-mentioned disadvantages and bringing new advantages to the relevant technical field.

[0012] To achieve all the objects mentioned above and that will emerge from the following detailed description the present invention is a shoe drying box for ensuring that items such as shoes and slippers are dried inside a tumble dryer drum without damage. Accordingly, its novelty is that it comprises at least one body for placing inside items to be dried, at least one cover connected with said body, and at least one pedal housing on the side of the body facing the pedal in order to fix the body on the pedal inside the drum.
[0013] A possible embodiment of the invention is characterized in that it comprises at least one air hole to allow air to enter the body. Thus, homogeneous drying of the shoes is ensured and a fast and effective drying process is carried out.
[0014] Another possible embodiment of the invention is characterized in that the body comprises at least one shoe housing for fixing the items to be dried inside. Thus, the shoes remain stationary during the drying process without being shaken and are not damaged.
[0015] Another possible embodiment of the invention is characterized in that there are two of said shoe housings. Thus, two shoes can be dried safely and stably simultaneously. Another possible embodiment of the invention is characterized in that it comprises at least one foot protrusion on the side of the cover facing the body for fixing the item to be dried in the body. Thus, it is ensured that the shoes remain stationary without moving during the drying process.
[0016] Another possible embodiment of the invention is characterized in that it comprises at least one lock element between the cover and the body. Thus, during the drying process, the cover remains securely closed and the shoes are safely dried.
[0017] Another possible embodiment of the invention is characterized in that said pedal housing is in the form of a recess towards the body. Thus, the shoe drying box is securely fixed with the pedal in the drum and the box does not move during the drying process.

[0024] DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0025] In this detailed description, the subject of the invention is explained by way of example only for a better understanding of the subject, which shall not create any limiting effect. Fig. 1 shows a representative perspective view of the dryer in which the shoe drying box (20) of the invention is located. Accordingly, the tumble dryer (10) is a device allowing fast and effective drying of laundry. Tumble dryers (10) provide convenience to the user by drying the laundry with hot air and drum (11) movement. The tumble dryer (10) is the basic device to which the invention is to be applied and contains all the items of the invention. The shoe drying box (20) of the invention is configured to allow drying of items such as shoes and slippers inside the tumble dryer (10) without any damage. For this, the shoe drying box (20) is positioned inside the drum (11 ) in the tumble dryer (10). For this positioning of the shoe drying box (20), the connection to the pedals (12) in the drum (11 ) is possible.
[0026] The drum (11) is a cylindrical structure located inside the tumble dryer (10) and in which the laundry rotates during the drying process. The drum (11) is where the main component of the invention, the shoe drying box (20), is mounted. The movement inside the drum (11) also rotates the shoe drying box (20), allowing the shoes to dry from all sides. The drum (11 ) is an important component that increases the efficiency of the laundry and shoe drying process. The pedal (12) is an inward protruding structure that allows the laundry to be circulated in the drum (11). (See Figure 5) Thanks to the connection of this pedal (12) and the shoe drying box (20), when the drum (11) rotates, the shoe drying box (20) also rotates.
[0027] Figs. 2 and 3 each show a representative perspective view of the shoe drying box (20) of the invention in open position and closed position. Accordingly, the shoe drying box (20) is designed for drying shoes in a tumble dryer (10). The shoe drying box (20) comprises at least one body (21 ) and at least one cover (24). Shoes can be placed inside the body (21). The cover (24) allows the shoe to be kept in the body (21) in a fixed manner. For this purpose, there is at least one lock element (27) between the cover (24) and the body (21 ). When the cover (24) is closed, the shoes remain stationary in the drum (11) and do not move during the drying process. Thanks to this, the shoes are dried without contact with the laundry. After closing the cover (24), the shoes are securely fixed in the body (21). There is at least one air hole (26) on the cover (24). Said air hole (26) is preferably multiple in number and ensures homogeneous drying of the shoes. Fig. 4 shows a representative perspective view of the shoe drying box (20) of the invention. Accordingly, there is at least one foot protrusion (25) on the cover (24). Said foot protrusion (25) extends from the cover (24) into the body (21). There are preferably two of foot protrusions (25) and it is in the form of a protrusion that at least partially enters the shoe. In addition, there is at least one shoe housing (22) in the body (21 ). Shoes are placed in said shoe housing (22). In this way, it is ensured that the shoe in the body (21) is dried without shaking and rotated together with the drum (11).
[0028] Fig. 5 shows a representative perspective view of the shoe drying box (20) of the invention connected to the pedal (12). Accordingly, there is at least one pedal housing (23) on the side of the body (21) facing the pedal (12). Said pedal housing (23) is the connection zone that fixes the shoe drying box (20) with the pedal on the drum (11 ). This pedal housing (23) allows the body (21) to remain stationary when the drum (11) rotates. To allow this, the pedal housing (23) is essentially in the form of a recess towards the body (21 ) in accordance with the pedal (12) form. The body (21 ) is fitted onto the pedal (12) by means of the pedal housing (23) and is connected to the drum (11 ) by means of fasteners known in the art.
[0029] This configuration ensures that objects such as shoes and slippers can be dried in tumble dryers (10) without damage. The shoe drying box (20) is located in the drum
[0030] (11 ), allowing the shoes to be dried homogeneously from all directions with the rotational movement of the drum (11). Thanks to the air holes (26) on the cover (24), air flow is provided and a fast and effective drying is carried out. Fixing to the pedals
[0031] (12) of the drum (11) with the pedal housing (23) ensures that the shoe drying box (20) remains stable as the drum (11 ) rotates. This system ensures that shoes are dried safely and smoothly without coming into contact with laundry, while also increasing the overall drying efficiency of the tumble dryer (10).
