The hood comprises a tear off tab configured so as to leave the annular portion in engagement with the skirt when the tear off tab is tom off so as to give evidence of the occurred first opening of the closure.

[0016] Advantageously, the inventors have found that the conformation of the tubular body and the retention members for the container as well as the fixing of the cap to the tubular body make it possible to define an upper annular surface substantially perpendicular to the central axis, which is able to make more grip on the collar of a container and, consequently, make it almost impossible to remove the closure from the container without breaking it or deforming it irreversibly.

Closure (100) for a container having a neck (200) with a pouring orifice (201), the neck (200) having a protruding collar (202), the closure (100) having a central axis (A) extending along a longitudinal direction (X-X) and comprising:- a tubular body (1) configured to be fixed to the neck (200),- a cap (101) arranged at least partially inside the tubular body (1) and attached to the tubular body (1), the cap (100) being configured to close the pouring orifice (201); wherein the tubular body (1) comprises:- an upper portion (2) having an upper end (20);- a lower portion (3) having a lower end (21), the tubular body (1) extending along the longitudinal direction (X-X) between the upper end (20) and the lower end (21);- a frangible portion (6) connecting the upper portion (2) to the lower portion (3) and configured to separate the upper portion (2) at least in part from the lower portion (3) upon first opening to release the cap (101);- an annular retention member (10) formed on the lower portion (3) and configured to engage the collar (202) to retain the tubular body (1) on the neck (200), the annular retention member (10) having a minimum inner diameter; wherein:- the tubular body (1), in the section between the annular retention member (10) and the upper end (20), has a minimum inner diameter greater than the minimum inner diameter of the annular retention member (10),- the cap (101) is attached to the tubular body (1) at the upper end (20), characterized in that:- the upper end (20) comprises a peripheral edge (23),- the cap (101) comprises a top wall (102) having a coupling edge (103), the coupling edge (103) of the top wall (102) being attached to the peripheral edge (23) of the upperend (20) of the tubular body (1).

2. Closure (100) according to claim 1, wherein the coupling edge (103) is welded to the peripheral edge (23).

3. Closure (100) according to claim 2, wherein the coupling edge (103) comprises a protrusion (104) projecting from the top wall (102), the peripheral edge (23) comprising a recess (24) adapted to receive said protrusion (104), the protrusion (104) being welded inside the recess (24).

4. Closure (100) according to claim 1, wherein the coupling edge (103) is removably connected to the peripheral edge (23), preferably by means of a snap coupling.

5. Closure (100) according to claim 4, wherein the coupling edge (103) comprises an annular seat (105), the peripheral edge (23) comprising an annular protrusion (25) connected by snap coupling to the annular seat (105).

6. Closure (100) according to any one of claims 1 to 5, wherein the annular retention member (10) has an upper annular surface (13) configured to abut on the collar (202) and inclined with respect to the central axis (A) by an angle (a) comprised between 90° and 95°.

7. Closure (100) according to claim 6, wherein the upper annular surface (13) is substantially flat.

8. Closure (100) according to any one of claims 1 to 7, wherein the annular retention member (10) is defined by a plurality of annular segments (11) separated from eachother.

9. Closure (100) according to any one of claims 1 to 8, wherein the annular retention member (10) has an annular sliding surface (15) arranged obliquely with respect to the central axis (A) adapted to facilitate mounting of the tubular body (1) on the neck (200).

Closure (100) according to any one of claims 1 to 9, comprising an intermediate portion (5) arranged between the upper portion (2) and the lower portion (3) and connected by means of the frangible portion (6) to the upper portion (2), the annular retention member (10) being arranged between the intermediate portion (5) and an upper end (4a) of the lower portion (3).

11. Closure (100) according to claim 10, comprising a plurality of frangible connecting elements (16) connecting the intermediate portion (5) and the annular retention member (10) and / or the intermediate portion (5) and the lower portion (3).
