Abstract

Disclosed is a method by which an electronic device provides a page. Specifically, the method by which an electronic device provides a page may comprise the steps of: receiving, from a terminal of a user, a request for a page related to an item set including items identified on the basis of a purchase history of the user; dividing the items included in the item set into a first sub-item set and a second sub-item set on the basis of whether the items are out of stock; and providing, to the terminal, the page including a first area for the first sub-item set including the out-of-stock items and a second area for the second sub-item set including items available for purchase, wherein the first area may be located lower than the second area on the page.

While the proportion of customers visiting offline stores to purchase products is declining, the proportion of customers purchasing products through e-commerce platforms via computers or smartphones is rapidly increasing. In particular, users tend to repeatedly purchase similar products using e-commerce services.

Specifically, the present disclosure relates to a method and an electronic device for providing a page that includes an area for an item set that includes related items of the identified item, by identifying an item for which a set amount of time has elapsed since it was added to the item set.
