[0002] CONTAINER FOR COSMETIC PRODUCT

[0003] The present invention relates to a container for cosmetic product of the type specified in the preamble of the first claim.

[0004] In particular, the present invention relates to a container suitable for containing pods and provided with a mirror.

[0005] Container devices for cosmetic products are currently known, such as container devices for pods and the like.

[0006] Said pods are discoidal elements obtained from compacted powdery elements included in a metal support.

[0007] Said container devices therefore comprise a base, within which one or more formulations in the form of pods are generally present, and a lid hooked to it, generally constrained in such a way as to be able to rotate around a pin.

[0008] The lid is generally provided with a protrusion, or tooth, suitably shaped which, in the closed position, keeps it firmly hooked, by means of an undercut system or other interference, to a seat present in the base.

[0009] The only function of such pin is therefore to ensure a good closure of the product through a mechanical action.

[0010] Moreover in order to reduce the environmental impact of products, configurations are also known in which, to facilitate recyclability, some elements can be separated from others. A common case is constituted by mirrors and there are several patents which provide for a detachment obtained by pressure, sliding or rotation of the element to which they are assembled, that is, the mirror-holder, or alternatively of a third element, for example a ring nut, which constrains them during normal life span of the product. The described known technique includes some important drawbacks.

[0011] In particular, the containers of the known technique have configurations in which the mirrors are difficult to separate from the structure or are connected to it by additional elements, compared to the base structure of the container, which imply a greater waste of material.

[0012] Therefore, the containers of the known technique are difficult to dispose of or involve material waste and reduced cost-effectiveness.

[0013] In this situation, the technical task underlying the present invention is to devise a container for cosmetic product capable of substantially overcoming at least part of the mentioned drawbacks.

[0014] Within said technical task, an important aim of the invention is to obtain a container for cosmetic product that allows for easy disposal at the end of use. To this end, another important aim of the invention is to make a container for cosmetic product that allows for easy separation of components made of different materials.

[0015] Furthermore, another task of the invention is to make a container for cosmetic product that does not require additional components and is therefore more economical than the containers of the known art.

Claims

CLAIMS1. Container (1 ) for cosmetic product comprising:- a base (2) comprising at least one first cavity (20) adapted to contain a cosmetic product and including a peripheral first obstacle (21 );- a mirror-holder support (3) adapted to support a mirror;- a lid (4) including a second cavity (40) adapted to contain said support (3) and loosely constrained to said base (2) by means of a mechanical hinge (5), placed at a side of said base (2) opposite to said first obstacle (21 ), so as to define:- a closed configuration in which said first cavity (20) is not accessible from the outside- an open configuration in which said first cavity (20) is accessible from the outside; and characterised in that- said lid (4) comprises:- a slot (41 ) placed adjacent to said hinge (5), and- a peripheral housing (42) placed at a side of said lid (4) opposite to said hinge (5) and communicating with said second cavity (40); and- said support (3) comprises:- a protrusion (30) configured to be inserted with said slot (41) so as to engage said support (3) with said lid (4) at one of its sides, and- a flexible tab (31 ) placed at a side of said support (3) opposite to said protrusion (30), configured to be interlocked, after flexion, into said housing (42) so as to further engage said support (3) and said lid (4) and including a tooth (32) adapted to interact with said first obstacle (21 ) to engage said lid (4) and said base(2) when said lid (4) is in said closed configuration.

2. Container (1 ) according to claim 1 , wherein said support (3) extends along a main plane (3a), said protrusion (30) extends along said main plane (3a) and said tab (31 ) extends in an arc out of said main plane (3a) defining an end (31 a) extending transversely to said main plane (3a), and said tooth (32) protrudes parallel to said main plane (3a) from said end (31 a) towards said protrusion (30).

Container (1 ) according to the preceding claim, wherein said tab (31 ) comprises a hump (33) protruding parallel to said main plane (3a) from said end (31 a) at a side of said end (31a) opposite to said tooth (32) and said housing (42) comprises a second obstacle (43) configured to interfere with said hump (33) to lock said tab (31 ) in said housing (42).

Container (1 ) according to the preceding claim, wherein said hinge (5) defines a mutual rotation axis (5a) between said lid (4) and said base (2), said base (2) defines an interaction plane (2a), parallel or aligned to said rotation axis (5a), along which said lid (4) and said base (2) are in mutual contact when said lid (4) is in the closed configuration and said tooth (32), said hump (33) and said obstacles (21 , 43) extend parallel to said interaction plane (2a).

5. Container (1 ) according to the preceding claim, wherein said base (2) includes a peripheral seat (22) including said first obstacle (21 ) and configured to house at least said end (31 a).

6. Container (1 ) according to any of the preceding claims, wherein said base (2) comprises a first frame (23) surrounding said first cavity (20) and said lid (4) comprises a second frame (44) surrounding said second cavity (40).

7. Container (1 ) according to any of the preceding claims, wherein said support (3) comprises a mirror.

8. Container (1 ) according to any of the preceding claims, wherein said base(2) comprises a cosmetic product arranged in said first cavity (20).

9. Container (1 ) according to any of the preceding claims, wherein said support (3) is discoidal.

10. Container (1) according to any of the preceding claims, wherein said base(2) and said lid (4) are discoidal.
