The method comprises: displaying a first control configuration page, and displaying on the first control configuration page a first functional control, the first functional control being a functional control that is displayed within a first area on a page to be configured and that is targeted to a user account of a first type (S101); and in response to a control editing operation on the first control configuration page, updating and displaying on the first control configuration page the first functional control into a first edited functional control, the first edited functional control being an updated functional control that is displayed within the first area on the page to be configured and that is targeted to the user account of the first type (S102).
