Abstract
Description
[0001] DESCRIPTION
[0002] KIT FOR ASSEMBLING A POOL SHED
[0003] Object of the invention
[0004] The purpose of this document is to describe a kit for assembling a swimming pool house, whose main distinguishing advantage is to create an element that is easy and quick to assemble using a series of elements made of extruded polystyrene, which allow a user without specific knowledge in masonry to be able to create a swimming pool house that is durable and resistant to chemical agents inside, as well as to the action of external agents; protecting the expensive machinery housed inside.
[0005] Background of the invention
[0006] Nowadays, any house (or property with a swimming pool) requires a structure (like a pump house or enclosure) whose essential function is to protect the pump. This means safeguarding the mechanical and electrical components that ensure the pool's proper operation, such as the pump, filter, water treatment system, and other associated equipment, from the elements. This includes protection from the weather (rain, sun, snow, wind), dust, dirt, and potential physical damage.
[0007] To alleviate this problem, various techniques are known, such as enabling an existing location or premises (or one created for this purpose) in the user's house (garage, storage room, cleaning room, etc.).
[0008] Alternatively, the construction of a box (made of masonry or fiberglass) buried in the ground, a custom-made house, a plastic (trunk-type) or wooden enclosure; which allows all the machinery associated with the correct functioning of the pool to be placed inside, and which allows easy access to the interior for maintenance tasks.
[0009] The applicant is aware of the existence of various solutions aimed at solving the same problem described, such as, for example, utility model ES 1268 224 which describes a pool purification house; characterized in that it comprises a prismatic enclosure made of sandwich panels, in which the following are arranged: a first passage, for access of the electrical connection; a second passage, for access of a first filling water conduit; a third passage for a second pumping conduit; some fourth passages for some third suction conduits; and where in one or more of said passages the corresponding conduits are pre-assembled inside the enclosure, which are terminated outside the enclosure in separate outlets for connection of the corresponding external pipes.
[0010] Utility model ES 1257649 describes an underground pump house, of the type comprising a receptacle formally and dimensionally suitable to contain the elements of a pool pump and provided with a lid; characterized in that it comprises: a platform on which some or all of the elements of the pump are mounted, and means for lifting said platform; comprising flexible or articulated connection sleeves between the elements arranged on the platform and the fixed pipes to which they are coupled.
[0011] Finally, utility model ES 1236 574 describes a pool filtration chamber, comprising a first container housing at least one first water circulation pump, characterized in that it also comprises a second container partially filled with water, into which the first container is inserted, a filling pipe from the second container to the pool passing through the first pump, and a draining pipe also from the second container to the pool passing through the first pump, so that the first pump can introduce water through the filling pipe causing the first container to rise, and can extract water through the draining pipe causing the first container to descend.
[0012] All these solutions are aimed at serving as a means of protection for the mechanical and electrical elements associated with the operation of a swimming pool (mainly the purification system). However, they are costly solutions that require advanced knowledge of various techniques for proper functioning. The present invention lies in the simplicity of its assembly, since the fact that it comes in a kit (with assembly instructions) will allow the implementation of a protective enclosure for those elements that need protection in a swimming pool to be carried out easily by anyone without extensive knowledge of the subject, gaining speed and saving on installation costs.Furthermore, the fact that the elements that make up the kit are made of extruded polystyrene, coated and reinforced with a mesh and waterproofing cement, will allow its useful life to be extended, resisting those external and internal agents that may affect its constitution.
[0013] Description of the invention
[0014] The technical problem solved by the present invention is to obtain a means for assembling a pool enclosure capable of housing mechanical and / or electrical equipment or components requiring special protection. To this end, the pool enclosure assembly kit, which is the subject of this utility model, comprises: a prismatic body open at the front; a rectangular lid that closes the top of the prismatic body; and a rectangular door that closes the front of the prismatic body by means of hinges.
[0015] The prismatic body, as well as the lid and door, are made of extruded polystyrene, coated and reinforced with a fiberglass mesh and a waterproofing cement.
[0016] Thanks to its design, the kit will be an easy-to-install, economical, ecological and high-quality product, allowing its user to quickly and easily have an enclosure that protects the pool equipment from external and internal agents, which will invariably affect the useful life of this equipment (extending it):
[0017] The fact that it is made of products with a waterproof coating allows water and moisture to come into contact with the electrical and mechanical components of the pump, which can prevent short circuits and electrical damage, increasing user safety during maintenance operations.
[0018] By keeping the equipment dry, the risk of corrosion on the metal parts of the equipment will be significantly reduced, extending the equipment's lifespan.
[0019] Using a waterproofing cement coating will generate greater resistance to adverse weather conditions, meaning the shed will provide effective protection for a longer time.
[0020] With a waterproof enclosure, there is less need for constant maintenance, as the equipment is better protected against dust and dirt that could interfere with its operation.
[0021] Finally, thanks to all of this, the user will ensure that the pump and other equipment housed in the enclosure built using the kit are in good condition, which ensures that the pool works efficiently, with fewer interruptions and repairs.
[0022] Brief description of the figures
[0023] The following section briefly describes a series of drawings that help to better understand the invention and that are expressly related to an embodiment of said invention which is presented as a non-limiting example thereof.
[0024] FIG 1. Shows a view of the elements that make up the kit for assembling a swimming pool house, the subject of this report.
[0025] Exposition of a detailed method of carrying out the invention
[0026] The accompanying figures show a preferred embodiment of the invention. More specifically, the kit for assembling a pool house, the subject of the present invention, is characterized by comprising a prismatic body (1) open at its front (1a) whose function is to create a compartment to house the elements of the pool that require protection; and which is closed by a rectangular lid (2), which prevents the entry of unwanted elements into the compartment formed by the prismatic body (1); and finally, the front (1a) of the prismatic body (1) is closed by a rectangular door (3), associated with said prismatic body by a plurality of hinges (4) that allow the opening and closing of the door (3).
[0027] In a preferred embodiment, the elements that make up the kit, with the exception of the hinges (4); are made of extruded polystyrene, coated and reinforced with a fiberglass mesh and a waterproofing cement, which guarantees the waterproofing of the assembly.
