[0005] BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0006] 002. In modem day buildings, both industrial and domestic buildings, elevators and lifts have become a common means of transporting people and / or things from one floor to another in the buildings. Elevators comprise of an elevator car that is installed on the hoist way inside the building vertically by a drive of the hoisting machine.

[0007] 003. Conventional, elevator system comprises an elevator door mechanism configured at the entrance portion of the elevator car and a landing door mechanism at the landing door of the elevator system. Both the door mechanisms, elevator door and the landing door, are configured with door shoes on the guide groove of each guide rail embedded at the lower surface of the elevator car and at the floor of the landing floor of the building enabling the door to slide through for opening and closing of the elevator car and providing access to the users to enter the elevator car. Such elevator door mechanisms require to be installed with safety mechanism to ensure derailment or breakaway from the guide rails upon applying external force or due to abrasion of the door shoes, which are typically made of synthetic resin, such as rubber material. The technical standards, including but not limited to the International Standards, IS 14665 and IS 17900 (to be implemented) prescribe the safety requirements for the elevator doors, including the standards required for withstanding derailment or breakaway from the guide rails upon applying external force or due to abrasion of the door shoes. 004. In one embodiment of prior art, KR20120049740 A teaches a separation preventing device of a platform door of an elevator is provided to stably open and close a platform door and to prevent crashes because the lower part of the platform door is not separated from a guide groove of a guide rail in spite of pressure or impact.

[0008] 005. In another embodiment of prior art, CN107522074A teaches a kind of elevator protecting against shock comes off, including door head plate, hanging plate, hall door and sill, being horizontally disposed with the door head plate has line slide rail, the left side and right side of hanging plate are provided with the outside of pulley and pulley and are provided with upper limit position block and lower position block, hanging plate is slidably mounted on line slideway by pulley, sill is internally provided with sill chute, hall door bottom is fixed with sliding block, half open form stop hook is provided with sill chute, sliding block is flexibly connected by packing ring with half open form stop hook, hall door is slidably mounted in sill chute by the cooperation of sliding block and half open form stop hook, the centre of sill is provided with fixed block, the both sides of fixed block are provided with sill hook, the sidepiece of sliding block is provided with the sliding block hook being engaged with sill hook.

[0009] 006. In the state-of-the-art inventions, several other anti-derailment devices and systems enabling the elevator doors to withstand the derailment or breakaway from the guide rails upon applying external force or due to abrasion of the door shoes. [0025] 022. Method of construction: A blank is cut on the sheet metal using turret punching or laser cutting or tooling, following which a first perpendicular bend at the open end of the blank using traditional bending machine or tooling which is shorter in order to accommodate in the dimension of sill groove is created.

[0026] Another perpendicular bend is made in between two bend relief. The holes for fastening or welding the retainer with door panel is also made on two bend relief during punching. Further, the device is powder coated and spray painted with Cataphoresis for preventing rust formation on the metal.

[0027] 023. In an alternative embodiment, a blank is cut on the sheet metal using turret punching or laser cutting or tooling wherein a first perpendicular bend at the open end of blank is created using traditional bending machine or tooling which is shorter in order to accommodate in the dimension of sill groove. Another perpendicular bend is made in between two bend relief and another perpendicular bend at the opposite end of bend relief for side fixing of retainer at the bottom end of base panel. The holes on both bend relief and opposite end of bend relief are created for fastening or welding the retainer with door panel is also made on two bend relief during punching.
