Abstract

Provided in the present invention are a bag accessory and a bag assembly. The bag accessory comprises a capacity expansion member and a first connecting structure. The capacity expansion member has a main body portion and at least one pocket portion connected to the main body portion and used for accommodating articles. The at least one pocket portion comprises a first pocket portion, wherein the first pocket portion has a first usage state and a second usage state; in the first usage state, the first pocket portion has a first opening located on a first side of the capacity expansion member; and in the second usage state, the first pocket portion extends from the first side of the capacity expansion member and forms a second opening on a second side of the capacity expansion member. The first connecting structure is connected to the capacity expansion member and is configured to be detachably connected to a bag body, so that the bag accessory can be detachably connected to the bag body. When the bag accessory is connected to the bag body, a first storage cavity is formed between the main body portion and the bag body, the first pocket portion is located in the first storage cavity when in the first usage state, and the first pocket portion is located outside the first storage cavity when in the second usage state and is in communication with the first storage cavity by means of the second opening.
