Abstract
Description
[0001] DESCRIPTION
[0002] TITLE: Accessory fastening system
[0003] The present invention relates, in general, to the fixing of a bulky accessory onto a support, particularly in the passenger compartment of a motor vehicle.
[0004] In particular, the invention relates to a mounting bracket and a hanging device forming part of an accessory fastening system, as well as the fastening system itself.
[0005] Numerous attachment devices for securing objects or items in the passenger compartment or trunk of a motor vehicle are available. These fastening systems allow, for example, the attachment of cup holders, bottle holders, phone mounts, or any other object to visible interior surfaces of motor vehicles. These systems thus allow for the storage of such items while keeping them easily accessible to the user.
[0006] Document FR3 143 692 describes in particular a mounting device formed by two parts assembled by removable fastening means, one being connected to an element of the vehicle, and the other being connected to an accessory.
[0007] However, such an attachment point is not suitable for accessories with a larger footprint than the aforementioned objects, such as a handlebar. Given the increased stresses caused by the overhangs and leverage generated by a handlebar or other bulky accessory, and its handling by the user, existing mounting systems are not sufficiently robust.
[0008] The invention therefore aims to remedy these drawbacks and to offer a solution for hanging bulky accessories, such as a coat hanger, particularly in the passenger compartment of a motor vehicle.
[0009] A fastening device for an accessory fastening system is therefore proposed, intended to cooperate by removable fastening with a mounting support of the fastening system, comprising: a main body having a female element configured to be assembled with a male element of the mounting support, a reinforcing hook extending from the main body and configured to fit into a notch of the mounting support, and an accessory.
[0010] In one embodiment, the female element can be configured to be assembled with the male element of the mounting bracket by translational movement of the hooking device relative to the mounting bracket.
[0011] Depending on one characteristic, the accessory can be integrated into the attachment device and extend from the main body.
[0012] Advantageously, the accessory can be a hanger.
[0013] Preferably, the main body includes one or more anti-vibration pads configured to support the mounting bracket when the hanging device and the mounting bracket are assembled, more preferably with at least one pad positioned on either side of the female element.
[0014] The invention also relates to a mounting support for an accessory fastening system, intended to cooperate by removable fastening with a hooking device as previously described, comprising a male element configured to be assembled with a female element of the hooking device, and a notch configured to receive the reinforcing hook of the hooking device.
[0015] According to one characteristic, the mounting bracket may include fastening means suitable for attaching the mounting bracket to a motor vehicle headrest, preferably to two headrest fixing rods.
[0016] The invention also relates to an accessory fastening system comprising a hooking device as previously described and a mounting support as previously described.
[0017] The invention also relates to a motor vehicle comprising at least one fastening system as previously described.
[0018] Advantageously, the motor vehicle may include at least one headrest to which the fastening system is attached. Brief description of the drawings
[0019] Other goals, advantages, and characteristics will become apparent from the following description, given for illustrative purposes only and with reference to the attached drawings, on which:

[0024] Detailed description
[0025] In what follows, the boundaries of a domain of values are included in that domain, in particular in the expression "between".
[0026] Furthermore, the expression "at least one" used in this description is equivalent to the expression "one or more".
[0027] Figures 1 and 2 illustrate a fastening system 1 according to an embodiment of the invention intended for fastening an accessory.
[0028] In the illustrated example, the fastening system 1 is intended for attaching a hanger 2 in the passenger compartment of a motor vehicle, and in particular to the back of a seat headrest 3.
[0029] The fastening system 1 comprises a mounting bracket 4 and a hooking device 5, intended to cooperate with each other by removable fastening.
[0030] The mounting bracket 4 comprises a body 6 and means for attaching, preferably removable, the mounting bracket 4 to the headrest. In the illustrated example, the body 6 can be elongated, extending in a transverse direction of the vehicle, in the form of a band, between the left and right lateral sides, respectively 3A and 3B, of the headrest 3. When the mounting bracket 4 is attached to the headrest 3, a first portion 6a of the body 6 is configured to extend at least partially against a rear face 3a of the headrest 3 and a second portion 6b, extending from the first portion 6a, is configured to extend at least partially onto a lower face 3b of the headrest 3.
[0031] In the illustrated example, the fastening means comprise two jaws 7 for attaching the mounting bracket 4 to the headrest 3. Each jaw 7 is positioned around one of the two left and right mounting rods 8, 9 of the headrest 3 and is assembled to the body 6, according to one embodiment, by means of screws. The jaws 7 and the body 6 of the mounting bracket 4 are clamped around the left and right mounting rods 8, 9 of the headrest 3 by means of the screws so as to hold the mounting bracket 4 in place.
[0032] The mounting bracket 4 further includes a male element 10, fixed to the center of the body 6, and a notch 11.
[0033] The attachment device 5 includes a main body 12 which, in the illustrated example, is a housing formed by fitting two parts 13 and 14 together and extends substantially in a transverse plane of the vehicle.
[0034] The main body 12 has a female element 15 configured to be assembled with the male element 10 of the mounting bracket 4 when the hanging device 5 is assembled to the mounting bracket 4.
[0035] In the illustrated example, the female element 15 is configured to be assembled with the male element 10 of the mounting bracket 4 by translational movement of the hooking device 5 relative to the mounting bracket 4.
[0036] The assembly of the hanging device 5 and the mounting bracket 4 can thus be easily carried out.
[0037] In this regard, the female element 15 is in the form of a female recess incorporating two ribs 15a, 15b intended to slide into two grooves of the male element 10 of the mounting support 4.
[0038] In the illustrated example, the two grooves join to form a single groove 10a extending all around the male element 10.
[0039] In addition, the hanging device 5 includes a reinforcing hook 16, which extends from the main body 12. The reinforcing hook 16 is configured to fit into the notch 11 of the mounting bracket 4.
[0040] Advantageously, the reinforcing hook 16 extends substantially perpendicularly to the main body 12.
[0041] The assembly of the hanging device 5 and the mounting bracket 4 can thus be easily carried out.
[0042] In the illustrated example, the accessory is a hanger 2, but the invention is not limited to the hanging of a hanger and the accessory can be any type of accessory, including one whose weight is greater than 5kg and / or particularly bulky.
[0043] The fastening system 1 according to the invention thus makes it possible to hang objects, such as a hanger 2, which are larger and heavier than small everyday objects such as a cup holder or a mobile phone.
[0044] The 16 reinforcement hook helps to stabilize and strengthen the structure for such use.
[0045] The assembly of the hanging device 5 and the mounting support 4, as well as the reinforcement of the fixing system 1 by inserting the reinforcing hook 16 into the notch 11, are done by a single translational movement of the hanging device 5.
[0046] The presence of the reinforcing hook 16 also makes it possible to restrict the use of the hanging device 5 incorporating the hanger 2 on the mounting support 4 designed to accommodate it, and thus serves as a keying element.
[0047] Advantageously, the main body 12 includes two anti-vibration pads 17 and 18 positioned so as to support the mounting bracket 4 when the hanging device 5 and the mounting bracket 4 are assembled.
[0048] Each of the two anti-vibration pads 17, 18 is positioned on either side of the female element 15, allowing the attachment device 5 to be stabilized during vehicle movement, and preventing vibration of the hanger 2.
[0049] In one embodiment, the male element 10 can be formed by first and second parts 19 and 20 assembled by removable fastening means. The first part 19 is connected, preferably by removable fastening means, to the body 6 of the mounting support 4, and the second part 20 is connected to the hanging device 5.
[0050] As illustrated, the groove 10a into which the ribs 15a, 15b of the female element 15 of the hooking device 5 are inserted can be formed between the first and second parts 19, 20 of the male element 10.
