[0040] Detailed description of the invention

[0041] The present invention will now be illustrated as a merely non-limiting or non-binding example, with reference to the figures which illustrate several embodiments relative to the present inventive concept. LEIBO. / 44e2025

[0042] With reference to FIG. 1, a perspective view of a cover 100 according to the present invention is shown. In FIG. 1 as in the following description, the embodiment of the present invention is illustrated which at present is deemed to be the best.

[0043] According to the present invention, a cover 100 is attained which can be reversibly fitted onto a profile 10 of a frame 1. The cover 100 comprises:

[0044] - at least an attachment wing 101 located in at least an end of the cover 100; said attachment wing 101 being connected to the body of the cover 100 by means of an angle preferably comprised between 50° and 110° and still more preferably equal to 90°;

[0045] - at least a rib 102 suitable for resting against the surface of the profile 10, creating a plurality of interspaces 103 of known thickness. In FIG. 1 the interspaces 103 are shown with the height arrows that go from one rib 102 to the next, indicating that the interspaces 103 are spaces between the ribs 102. Said rib 102 ensures that the central body of the cover 100 is not deformed, generating a single interspace 103 with variable thickness. The rib 102 in fact provide a reaction constraint, by pressing against the profile 10, which opposes the action of the attachment wing 101 by placing said cover 100 in a condition in which its central body is situated at pre-established distances (equal to the projection of the ribs with respect to the central body). In various embodiments of the present invention, said ribs 102 can have a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the cover 100 (one of which shown in FIG. 1), parallel to the longitudinal axis of the cover 100 (three of which shown in FIG. 1, parallel to each other) and / or tilted by any angle with respect to said longitudinal axis of the cover 100. Where by “longitudinal axis” of the cover 100 it is intended the line passing through the center of gravity of the section of the cover 100 and parallel to its direction of greater extension. In various embodiments of the present invention, said ribs 102 project from the surface of said cover 100 according to a direction tilted by any angle with respect to said surface but preferably comprised between 30° and 150° and still more preferably equal to 90°;

[0046] - at least an adaptation element 110-114 suitable for allowing said cover 100 to adapt to various sizes and shapes of profiles 10. LEIBO. / 44e2025

[0047] In several embodiments of the present invention like those shown in FIG. 1, said adaptation element 110 is a zone of the cover 100 made of elastic material capable of stretching and exerting an elastic recall force to return into an initial position. The elastic material of said zona (adaptation element 110) is, in several preferred embodiments of the present invention, an elastomer and / or rubber.

[0048] In other embodiments of the present invention like that shown in FIG. 2, said adaptation elements are two or more profiles 111, 112 which constitute the body of the cover 100 and that slide inside each other in a telescopic manner.

[0049] In several embodiments of the present invention like that shown in FIG. 2, said profiles 111,

[0050] 112 are connected and the respective telescopic sliding is adjustable by means of a tooth 113 (shown in enlarged detail on the lower left in FIG. 2) of a first profile 111 which slides within a second profile 112 fitting in openings 114 present on the surface of the second profile 112 facing the profile 10 of the frame 1 on which the cover 100 is applied. In this manner, by pressing on the tooth 113, the first profile 111 can be extracted from or retracted into said second profile 111, for a distance equal to that comprised between one opening 114 and the next. The tooth 113 in fact “snaps” (due to its geometry and rigidity of the material with which it is made) from the interior the second profile 112 in said openings 114 when it reaches them, thus providing a mechanical constraint of the sliding between the two profiles 111, 112. Specifically, in FIG. 2 it is observed that the tooth 113 is fitted in the first opening 114, thus obtaining the minimum exit of the profile 111 from the profile 112. The pressure of the tooth

[0051] 113 that projects from an opening 114 towards the interior of the cavity of the second profile 112 brings it back within the second profile 112, thus allowing the adjustment of the exit of the first profile 111 with respect to the second profile 112.

[0052] In other embodiments of the present invention, said profiles 111, 112 are connected by an elastic element inside said profiles 111, 112 that exerts an elastic recall force capable of bringing the profiles 111, 112 closer together.

[0053] With reference to FIG. 3, a sectional view of a cover 100 applied on the profile 10 of a frame 1 is shown, in which the ribs 102 which project from the internal part of the cover 100 and lie LEIBO. / 44e2025 against the profile 10 generate empty interspaces 103 which improve the thermal and acoustic performances of the frame 1, constituting further (with respect to those already present that are visible in the section of the profiles 10) chambers in which air circulates.

[0054] In several embodiments of the present invention like that shown in FIG. 4, the cover 100 further comprises a thermal and / or acoustic insulation layer 104 placed in one or more interspaces 103. Said thermal and / or acoustic insulation layer 104, in various embodiments of the present invention can be made of neoprene, of mineral wool, of glass wool, of expanded or extruded and / or of other materials.

[0055] In several embodiments of the present invention, the cover 100 has a hollow body and further comprises an electric circuit powered by an external electrical network and / or by an internal rechargeable battery; said electric circuit powers one or more sensors for measuring temperature, air quality, humidity, rain, impacts, accelerations, vibrations, for detecting smoke and / or for detecting the open or closed state of the frame 1; said sensors are integrated within the body of the cover 100 and are connected to at least a data storage and transmission unit. Said data storage and transmission unit is employed for sending the data for example in wired form, in wireless form exploiting technologies such as Bluetooth, LoRa, Wi-Fi or even 3G, 4G, 5G etc. (employing a SIM card).

[0056] The storage and transmission unit in several embodiments of the present invention can be connected to a central Processing Unit (CPU) for the data and to a display separated from the cover 100 or even integrated within the cover 100 so as to show said data updated in real time and to allow accessing various functions such as for example viewing the weather forecast, programming of detections for said sensors to make in specific periods, with the possibility of programming them on an hourly, daily, weekly or monthly basis.

[0057] The storage and transmission unit can be further connected, in several embodiments of the invention, to a central Processing Unit (CPU) for the data and to one or more speakers adapted to provide sound indications relative to the data connected by the sensors and to also provide alert indications. One example of an alert indication is that which is generated by two synergistic detections, that of the sensors for detecting rain which detect the presence of rain LEIBO. / 44e2025 and, together, that of the sensors for detecting the state (open or closed) of the frame 1 which detect that the frame 1 is open; when these two conditions coexist, the CPU processes a sound alert that can be a sound, an alarm, music or even a robotic voice, which warns the user and which can suggest that he / she close the frame 1. Additionally, the alert indication can be triggered by the sensor for opening the frame 1 which detects a forced opening of the frame itself. Other sensors are employable and connectable to the electric circuit without however exiting from the protective scope of the present invention. In various embodiments of the present invention, the storage and transmission unit is connected with a home automation system. The storage and transmission unit, in order to preserve said data coming from said sensors, comprises one or more cloud memory and internal physical memory units.

[0058] In several embodiments of the present invention like those shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the cover 100 comprises a gasket 105 adapted be crushed between two covers 100 and / or between a cover 100 and a profile 10 of the frame 1. In FIGS. 3 and 4, the cover is mounted on a wing of the frame 1 and the gasket 105 is crushed between cover 100 of the wing and profile 10 of the fixed frame of the frame 1. In the event in which a cover 100 is mounted both on the fixed frame 1 and on the wing, the gasket 105 will be present on the part of the cover 100 of the wing that faces towards the fixed frame and / or will be mounted on the part of the cover 100 of the fixed frame that faces the wing; in all cases, the gasket 105 will be crushed between both the covers 100. In this manner the cover 100 also provides an additional degree of watertight seal, and seal against dust and air above all if it is applied to the profiles 10 of old frames 1 whose gaskets could be worn over time.

[0059] In several embodiments of the present invention, said ribs 102 and said attachment wings 101 comprise coatings suitable for absorbing the vibrations and protecting said profiles 10. Said coatings are preferably made of elastic material, rubber and / or another material such to allow the absorption of the vibrations as well as possible small relative movements between cover 100 and profiles 10 and such to render the fitting or the reversal of the fitting of the covers 100 on said profiles 10 silent as well.

[0060] In several embodiments of the present invention, the cover 100 further comprises at least a LEIBO. / 44e2025 fitting element and at least a seat in each end; a first cover 100 is reversibly fittable with a second cover 100 through the pressure of one end of the first cover 100 against one end of the second cover 100 where a fitting element of the first cover 100 is inserted in a seat of the second cover 100 and where a fitting element of the second cover 100 is inserted in a seat of the first cover 100. In this manner it is possible to compose cover 100 which cover the entire perimeter of a frame 1. In the case for example of the application of the covers on the wing, from the internal side of the frame 1, it is possible to dismount the handle, apply the covers 100 and proceed with the remounting of the handle itself, perforating the cover 100 if necessary.

[0061] With reference to FIG. 5, a sectional (top) plan view of a frame 1 is shown with asymmetric double leaf, on whose internal and external profiles 10 the covers 100 according to the present invention are applied. FIG. 5 shows that the cover 100 placed on the fixed profile 10 of the frame 1 has only one attachment wing 101 in one end and has a rib 102 that is wider than the others, in the opposite end. This cover 100 is thus attained in order to ensure that the closure of the frame 1 is not obstructed, by adding thicknesses between wing and fixed frame.

[0062] FIG. 6 shows a side sectional view of a frame 1 mounted below the box of a roller shutter, on whose internal and external profiles 10 the covers 100 according to the present invention are applied. FIG. 6 shows that the cover 100 mounted on the external profile 10 (to the right in FIG. 6) of the frame 1 has in the upper part an attachment wing 101 adapted both to form a rib 102 of abutment against the profile 10, and to have an external protective portion (to the right in FIG. 6) that ensure that the step which is composed by the attachment wing 101 cannot be in a zone where water, dust or dirt in general are deposited.

[0063] With reference to FIG. 7, a side sectional view of a frame 1 is contact with the floor is shown, on whose internal profiles 10 a cover 100 according to the present invention is mounted. One observes in FIG. 7 that the application of the cover 100 is possible without having to dismount the frame and is easily applicable on the wing, since there is space between profile 10 and floor for the insertion of the cover 100.

[0064] The arrows shown in FIGS. 5-7 are indicative of the sense of application and fitting of the LEIBO. / 44e2025 cover 100 on the profiles 10.

[0065] Finally, it is clear that modifications, additions or variations can be made to the invention described up to now that are obvious for a man skilled in the art, without departing from the protective scope that is provided by the enclosed claims.
