The front wall storage compartments C are arranged to form a closed loop in a plan view.
[0031] <<Lid 2>> The lid 2 is capable of opening and closing the opening K provided on the storage container body 1. The lid 2 can take an open position (H) that opens the storage space sp provided on the bottom wall portion 11 of the storage container body 1, and a closed position (T) that closes the storage space sp.
[0032] The lid 2 is rotatably mounted on the storage container body 1 so that it can assume an open position (H) and a closed position (T).
[0033] The lid 2 comprises a rectangular top wall portion 21, a rear wall portion 22 extending from the rear end edge of the top wall portion 21, and left and right side wall portions 23 connected to the top wall portion 21 and the rear wall portion 22.
[0034] <Top Wall Section 21> The top wall section 21 has a horizontally elongated rectangular shape. The top wall section 21 is positioned opposite the bottom wall section 11 in the closed position (T). The size of the top wall section 21 is set to be approximately the same as the size of the bottom wall section 11.
[0035] As schematically shown in Figure 15, the top wall portion 21 comprises an outer exterior material g1, an inner exterior material g2, a rigid synthetic resin core material sn disposed on the inside between the outer and inner exterior materials g1 and g2, and a flexible outer foam sheet material h1 disposed on the outside between the outer and inner exterior materials g1 and g2.
[0036] The front edge of the top wall portion 21 is provided with the other fastener component f2, which constitutes the fastener F for opening and closing the lid 2. The fastener F will be described in detail later.
[0037] A first top wall storage section D, which is pocket-shaped, is provided on the inner surface of the top wall section 21 for storing an item S. The first top wall storage section D is provided by the cooperation of the top wall section 21 and a pocket sheet 6 attached to the top wall section 21. The first top wall storage section D is formed into a pocket shape by sewing both side ends and the rear end of the pocket sheet 6 to the top wall section 21 when the pocket sheet 6 is in the open position (H).
[0038] On the storage space sp side of the first ceiling wall storage section D, two second ceiling wall storage sections E for storing items S are arranged side by side on the left and right. The two second ceiling wall storage sections E arranged on the left and right each form a partition.
[0039] The second ceiling storage compartments E, located side by side, are provided by the cooperation of a pocket sheet 6 and a strip-shaped member 7 attached to the storage space sp side of the pocket sheet 6.
[0040] The strip-shaped member 7 that constitutes the second top wall storage section E is a highly elastic mesh-like material that extends in the left-right direction. The second top wall storage sections E, which are arranged side by side on the left and right, are set to have different width dimensions to facilitate the storage of items S of various sizes by sandwiching them between the strip-shaped member 7 and the pocket sheet 6.
[0041] <Rear wall portion 22>The rear wall portion 22 has a horizontally long rectangular shape. The rear wall portion 22 is arranged to face the front wall portion 12 in the closed posture (T). [0042] As schematically shown in FIG. 15, the rear wall portion 22 includes an outer exterior material g1, an inner exterior material g2, a rigid core material sn made of synthetic resin disposed on the inner side between the outer and inner exterior materials g1 and g2, and a flexible outer foam sheet material h1 disposed on the outer side between the outer and inner exterior materials g1 and g2.
[0043] A hinge portion J is provided between the rear wall portion 22 and the bottom wall portion 11, where no core material or foam material is interposed between the outer exterior material g1 and the inner exterior material g2.
[0044] The lid body 2 is configured to be rotatable between the closed posture (T) and the open posture (H) with respect to the storage tool main body 1 about the hinge portion J as the rotation center.
[0045] <Left and right side wall portions 23 (second side wall portions)>The left and right side wall portions 23, which are the second side wall portions, are connected to the top wall portion 21 and the rear wall portion 22. The left and right side wall portions 23 are provided so as to hang down from the left and right side edge portions of the top wall portion 21 and to extend forward from the left and right side edge portions of the rear wall portion 22 in the closed posture (T).
[0046] The left and right side wall portions 23 are disposed outside the left and right side members 3 provided between the storage tool main body 1 and the lid body 2.
[0047] Although not shown in detail, the left and right side wall portions 23 include an outer exterior material, an inner exterior material, and a rigid core material made of synthetic resin disposed between the outer and inner exterior materials.
[0048] In the closed posture (T), the left and right side wall portions 23 have a curved portion that bulges forward and downward at the front portion. The lower end edges of the front portions of the left and right side wall portions 23 are formed so as to be gradually positioned upward toward the front.
[0049] The left and right side walls 23 are configured to overlap their front portions when the lid 2 is in the closed position (T).
[0050] <Regarding the bottom structure B> In this embodiment, the storage device has a bottom structure B formed such that when the lid 2 is in the open position (H), the bottom wall portion 11 of the storage device body 1 and the rear wall portion 22 of the lid 2 are continuous and substantially flush with each other.
[0051] The bottom structure B has a continuous shape such that, when the lid 2 is in the open position (H), the bottom wall portion 11 of the storage container body 1 and the rear wall portion 22 of the lid 2, which is connected behind the bottom wall portion 11 via the hinge portion J, are substantially flush as a whole.
[0052] In other words, the bottom structure B can take on a generally horizontal plate shape as a whole through the cooperation of the bottom wall 11 and the rear wall 22. The bottom structure B does not partition the storage space sp provided on the bottom wall 11 and the rear wall 22 into front and rear sections. That is, in the open position (H), the bottom structure B can form a wide area for placing items S, such as trays.
[0053] When the lid 2 is in the open position (H), the storage container has a storage space sp formed on the bottom structure B, enclosed in a roughly rectangular shape by the front wall 12, the left and right side members 3, and the top wall 21.
[0054] In this embodiment, the storage device is configured such that the internal dimensions in the front-to-back direction of the storage space sp when the lid 2 is in the open position (H) (i.e., the distance between the upright front wall portion 12 and the upright top wall portion 21) are longer than the internal dimensions in the front-to-back direction of the storage space sp when the lid 2 is in the closed position (T) (i.e., the distance between the upright front wall portion 12 and the upright rear wall portion 22).
[0055] In this embodiment, the left and right side members 3 and the left and right side wall portions 23 of the lid 2 are each sewn to the bottom structure B along the same line.
[0056] <Fastener F> Fastener F is a known configuration in which one fastener component f1 and the other fastener component f2 can be brought into contact with and separated by operating a slider f3 interposed between one and the other fastener component f1 and f2.
[0057] One of the fastener components f1 is arranged over substantially the entire upper edge of the front wall portion 12 and extends outward in a band shape from the right edge, which is one side edge of the front wall portion 12.
[0058] The other fastener component f2 is arranged over substantially the entire front edge of the top wall portion 21 in the closed position (T), and extends outward in a band shape from the right edge, which is one side edge of the top wall portion 21.
[0059] The extended ends of the fastener components f1 and f2, which extend outward in a strip shape from the storage container body 1 and lid 2, are connected at a rectangular fastener end portion f4.
[0060] Furthermore, one of the snap button components p1 that constitute the snap button P is provided at the end portion f4 of the zipper. The one snap button component p1 is configured to be detachably attached to the other snap button component p2, which is provided on the outer surface of the rear wall portion 22 of the lid 2.
[0061] <<Left and Right Side Members 3 (First Side Walls)>> The left and right side members 3, which are the first side walls, are provided between the left and right sides of the storage container body 1 and the lid 2.
[0062] When the lid 2 is in the open position (H), the left and right side members 3 are in an upright position relative to the horizontal plane and have a rectangular shape in side view. The upper edges 3e of the left and right side members 3 are formed substantially parallel to the bottom wall portion 11 and the rear wall portion 22 that constitute the bottom structure B when the lid 2 is in the open position (H).
[0063] The lower edges of the left and right side members 3 are connected to the side edges of the bottom wall portion 11 of the storage container body 1 and the side edges of the rear wall portion 22 of the lid 2. In other words, the lower edges of the left and right side members 3 are connected to the side edges of the bottom structure B.
[0064] The front edges of the left and right side members 3 are connected to the side edges of the front wall portion 12 of the storage unit body 1.
[0065] The rear edges of the left and right side members 3 are connected to the side edges of the top wall portion 21 of the lid 2. When the lid 2 is in the open position (H), the rear edges of the left and right side members 3 are connected to the lower side edges of the top wall portion 21, which is in an upright position relative to the horizontal plane.
[0066] The left and right side members 3 are made by layering non-stretchable fabric materials. The left and right side members 3 have a structure that is more flexible than the left and right side walls 23 that make up the lid 2. The left and right side members 3 hardly stretch in the longitudinal and transverse directions.
[0067] The left and right side members 3 deform in accordance with the change in posture between the open position (H) and the closed position (T) of the lid 2.
[0068] When the lid 2 is in the closed position (T), the rear portions 3r of the left and right side members 3, that is, the portions near the rear wall portion 22 and the top wall portion 21 of the left and right side members 3, are bent or flexed inward.
[0069] On the other hand, the left and right side members 3 and the left and right side wall portions 23 are configured to partially overlap when the lid 2 is in the closed position (T). More specifically, the front portions of the left and right side members 3 and the front portions of the left and right side wall portions 23 overlap planarly in the left-right direction when the lid 2 is in the closed position (T).
[0070] On the other hand, when the lid 2 is in the open position (H), the left and right side members 3 extend in a substantially straight line in the front-to-back direction.
[0071] <<Storage Section A>> Storage sections A are provided on the left and right side members 3 for storing items S excluding items specifically for core materials.
[0072] Here, "items exclusively for core materials" refers to items that are used solely as core materials and are not used by the user when they are working, studying, or performing other tasks while stored in a storage container.
[0073] In this embodiment, the "article S excluding the core material-specific article" stored in the storage section A is preferably in the form of a rod, block, or lump.
[0074] Typical examples of "articles S excluding articles specifically for core materials" include stationery, cosmetic tools, and electronic machinery and equipment.
[0075] More specific examples of item S include erasers, containers for adhesives, transfer tools for transferring transfer materials (such as glue and correction tape), pencil lead cases, seals, cosmetic cases for lipstick and mascara, and stick-shaped auxiliary storage devices such as USB memory sticks.
[0076] In this embodiment, the storage section A is formed in a partition shape by the cooperation of the left and right side members 3 and the strip-shaped members 4 attached to the left and right side members 3. The storage section A is capable of partitioning horizontal space. The storage section A is arranged to form a closed loop shape in plan view. The items S stored in the storage section A are supported by the bottom wall 11.
[0077] The strip-shaped member 4 is a strip that is elongated in the front-to-back direction. The front end of the strip-shaped member 4 is attached to the inner surface of the side member 3 by sewing at a front mounting position t1, and the rear end of the strip-shaped member 4 is attached to the inner surface of the side member 3 by sewing at a rear mounting position t2.
[0078] The longitudinal dimension of the strip-shaped member 4 between the front and rear mounting positions t1 and t2 of the side member 3 and the strip-shaped member 4 is set to be longer than the longitudinal dimension of the side member 3 between the front and rear mounting positions t1 and t2 of the side member 3 and the strip-shaped member 4.
[0079] The storage device of this embodiment is capable of suitably storing rod-shaped, block-shaped, or lump-shaped articles S in storage compartments A provided on the left and right side members 3.
[0080] Furthermore, the rod-shaped, block-shaped, or lump-shaped article S stored in the storage section A can function as a core material to maintain the forward position of the left and right side members 3.
[0081] When an item S is stored in the storage compartment A, the front portions of the left and right side members 3 are suitably held in an upright position relative to the bottom wall 11. Therefore, when the lid 2 is open (H), the storage device forms an orderly storage space sp that facilitates the comfortable insertion and removal of items S, such as writing instruments, stored on the tray-shaped bottom structure B.
[0082] In the embodiment described above, the left and right side members 3 are provided with storage sections A capable of accommodating items S other than the core material. By storing items S such as erasers in the storage sections A, the orientation of the side members 3 can be appropriately maintained, thereby improving the usability of the storage device.
[0083] In the embodiment described above, the bottom structure B is configured such that the bottom wall portion 11 and the rear wall portion 22 are substantially flush when the lid 2 is in the open position (H), and the left and right side members 3, which are the first side walls, and the left and right side walls 23, which are the second side walls, overlap when the lid 2 is in the closed position (T). Therefore, it is possible to provide a storage device that has a suitable configuration that makes it easy to secure a wide storage space sp when the lid 2 is in the open position (H), and makes it difficult for the stored items S to spill out when the lid 2 is in the closed position (T).
[0084] As described above, the storage device according to this embodiment comprises a storage device body 1 having a bottom wall portion 11 and an opening K above the bottom wall portion 11 through which articles S can be inserted and removed, and a lid body 2 connected to the storage device body 1 and capable of opening and closing the opening K.
[0085] Furthermore, left and right side members 3 are provided between the left and right sides of the storage container body 1 and the lid 2, and a storage section A for storing articles S excluding core material items is provided in the left and right side members 3.
[0086] Therefore, in this embodiment, by storing items S such as erasers in the storage compartments A provided on the left and right side members 3, the orientation of the left and right side members 3 can be suitably maintained.
[0087] In other words, by storing items S in the storage compartments A provided on the left and right side members 3, the stored items S function effectively as reinforcing members that maintain the posture of the left and right side members 3, thereby contributing to improved usability of the storage device by the user.
[0088] The lid 2 can assume an open position (H) that opens the storage space sp formed on the bottom wall portion 11, and a closed position (T) that closes the storage space sp. The left and right side members 3 deform in accordance with the change in position of the lid 2 between the open position (H) and the closed position (T).
[0089] Therefore, the left and right side members 3 are designed not to impede the smooth change of position between the open position (H) and the closed position (T) of the lid 2.
[0090] The rear portions 3r of the left and right side members 3 are formed to bend or flex inward when in the closed position (T).
[0091] Therefore, when the lid 2 is in the closed position (T), the rear portions 3r of the left and right side members 3 are suitably deformed, and the front positions of the left and right side members 3 arranged on the storage container body 1 side are suitably maintained without excessive deformation.
[0092] Storage section A is formed in a partition-like manner. As a result, storage section A can suitably lower the item S to a position where it contacts the bottom wall 11, and can suitably hold the item S stored inside storage section A.
[0093] The storage section A is formed in a partition shape by the cooperation of the left and right side members 3 and the strip-shaped members 4 attached to the left and right side members 3, and the longitudinal dimension of the strip-shaped member 4 between the front and rear mounting positions t1 and t2 of the left and right side members 3 and the strip-shaped member 4 is set to be longer than the longitudinal dimension of the left and right side members 3 between the front and rear mounting positions t1 and t2 of the left and right side members 3 and the strip-shaped member 4.
[0094] Therefore, a partitioned storage section A can be suitably formed, which has an area inside in which an item S can be stored.
[0095] The storage container body 1 has a front wall portion 12 erected on the front edge of the bottom wall portion 11, the lid body 2 has a top wall portion 21, and the edges of the left and right side members 3 are connected to at least the front wall portion 12 and the top wall portion 21.
[0096] Therefore, the left and right side members 3 are suitably connected to predetermined locations on the storage container body 1 and the lid 2.
[0097] The lid 2 has left and right side wall portions 23 connected to the top wall portion 21, and the left and right side wall portions 23 are positioned outward from the left and right side members 3.
[0098] Therefore, the left and right side walls 23 provided on the lid 2 suitably support the left and right side members 3 located on the inside from the outside. With this configuration, it is possible to provide a storage device that has a suitable structure in which the stored items S are less likely to spill out when the lid 2 is in a closed position (T).
[0099] However, the present invention is not limited to the embodiments described in detail above.
[0100] The storage compartment only needs to be capable of storing articles other than those specifically for core materials. In other words, the articles stored in the storage compartment may not be those exemplified in the specification. Any articles stored in the storage compartment may be used as long as they do not depart from the spirit of the present invention.
[0101] It goes without saying that multiple items may be stored in the storage compartment.
[0102] The storage compartment only needs to be provided on at least one of the left and right side members, and is not limited to being provided on both the left and right side members as shown in the above-described embodiment.
[0103] The storage compartment may be formed in the shape of a pocket.
[0104] It goes without saying that the shape and size of the storage container body and lid can be set to appropriate values without departing from the spirit of the present invention.
[0105] The lid may have a top wall portion set to an appropriate shape, but may not have a rear wall portion.
[0106] The lid may have left and right side walls connected only to a top wall portion that is set to an appropriate shape.
[0107] The edges of the side members only need to be connected to at least the bottom wall, the front wall, and the top wall.
[0108] Furthermore, the specific configuration of each part is not limited to the above embodiments, and various modifications are possible without departing from the spirit of the present invention.
[0109] This invention can be used as a storage device for storing articles.
