The front wall storage compartments C are arranged to form a closed loop in a plan view.
[0029] <<Lid 2>> The lid 2 is capable of opening and closing the opening K provided on the storage container body 1. The lid 2 can take an open position (H) that opens the storage space sp provided on the bottom wall portion 11 of the storage container body 1, and a closed position (T) that closes the storage space sp.
[0030] The lid 2 is rotatably mounted on the storage container body 1 so that it can assume an open position (H) and a closed position (T).
[0031] The lid 2 comprises a rectangular top wall portion 21, a rear wall portion 22 extending from the rear end edge of the top wall portion 21, and left and right side wall portions 23 connected to the top wall portion 21 and the rear wall portion 22.
[0032] <Top Wall Section 21> The top wall section 21 has a horizontally elongated rectangular shape. The top wall section 21 is positioned opposite the bottom wall section 11 in the closed position (T). The size of the top wall section 21 is set to be approximately the same as the size of the bottom wall section 11.
[0033] As schematically shown in Figure 15, the top wall portion 21 comprises an outer exterior material g1, an inner exterior material g2, a rigid synthetic resin core material sn disposed on the inside between the outer and inner exterior materials g1 and g2, and a flexible outer foam sheet material h1 disposed on the outside between the outer and inner exterior materials g1 and g2.
[0034] The front edge of the top wall portion 21 is provided with the other fastener component f2, which constitutes the fastener F for opening and closing the lid 2. The fastener F will be described in detail later.
[0035] A first top wall storage section D, which is pocket-shaped, is provided on the inner surface of the top wall section 21 for storing an item S. The first top wall storage section D is provided by the cooperation of the top wall section 21 and a pocket sheet 6 attached to the top wall section 21. The first top wall storage section D is formed into a pocket shape by sewing both side ends and the rear end of the pocket sheet 6 to the top wall section 21 when the pocket sheet 6 is in the open position (H).
[0036] On the storage space sp side of the first ceiling wall storage section D, two second ceiling wall storage sections E for storing items S are arranged side by side on the left and right. The two second ceiling wall storage sections E arranged on the left and right each form a partition.
[0037] The second ceiling storage compartments E, located side by side, are provided by the cooperation of a pocket sheet 6 and a strip-shaped member 7 attached to the storage space sp side of the pocket sheet 6.
[0038] The strip-shaped member 7 that constitutes the second top wall storage section E is a highly elastic mesh-like material that extends in the left-right direction. The second top wall storage sections E, which are arranged side by side on the left and right, are set to have different width dimensions to facilitate the storage of items S of various sizes by sandwiching them between the strip-shaped member 7 and the pocket sheet 6.
[0039] <Rear Wall 22> The rear wall 22 has a horizontally elongated rectangular shape. The rear wall 22 is positioned opposite the front wall 12 in the closed position (T). The size of the rear wall 22 is set to be approximately the same as the size of the front wall 12.
[0040] As schematically shown in Fig. 15, the rear wall portion 22 includes an outer decorative material g1, an inner decorative material g2, a rigid core material sn made of synthetic resin disposed on the inner side between the outer and inner decorative materials g1, g2, and a flexible outer foamed sheet material h1 disposed on the outer side between the outer and inner decorative materials g1, g2.
[0041] A hinge portion J is provided between the rear wall portion 22 and the bottom wall portion 11, where no core material or foamed material is interposed between the outer decorative material g1 and the inner decorative material g2.
[0042] The lid body 2 is configured to be rotatable between a closed position (T) and an open position (H) with respect to the storage body 1 about the hinge portion J as the rotation center.
[0043] <Left and right side wall portions 23 (second side wall portions)> The left and right side wall portions 23, which are the second side wall portions, are connected to the top wall portion 21 and the rear wall portion 22. In the closed position (T), the left and right side wall portions 23 are provided so as to hang down from the left and right side edges of the top wall portion 21 and extend forward from the left and right side edges of the rear wall portion 22.
[0044] The left and right side wall portions 23 are disposed outside the left and right side members 3 provided between the storage body 1 and the lid body 2.
[0045] Although not shown in detail, the left and right side wall portions 23 include an outer decorative material, an inner decorative material, and a rigid core material made of synthetic resin disposed between the outer and inner decorative materials.
[0046] In the closed position (T), the left and right side wall portions 23 have a curved portion that bulges downward and forward at the front. The lower end edges of the front portions of the left and right side wall portions 23 are formed so as to be gradually located upward toward the front.
[0047] The left and right side wall portions 23 are configured such that the front portions overlap each other when the lid body 2 is in the closed position (T).
[0048] <Regarding the bottom structure B> In the storage device of this embodiment, when the lid 2 is in the open position (H), a bottom structure B is formed that is continuously formed such that the bottom wall portion 11 of the storage device main body 1 and the rear wall portion 22 of the lid 2 are substantially flush with each other.
[0049] The bottom structure B has a shape in which when the lid 2 is in the open position (H), the bottom wall portion 11 of the storage device main body 1 and the rear wall portion 22 of the lid 2 continuously provided behind the bottom wall portion 11 via the hinge portion J are substantially flush with each other as a whole.
[0050] In other words, the bottom structure B can adopt a substantially horizontally plate-like form as a whole by the cooperation of the bottom wall portion 11 and the rear wall portion 22. The bottom structure B does not partition the storage space sp provided on the bottom wall portion 11 and the rear wall portion 22 in the front-back direction. That is, the bottom structure B can form a placement area for a wide range of articles S such as a tray in the open position (H).
[0051] When the lid 2 is in the open position (H), a storage space sp substantially surrounded in a rectangular shape by the front wall portion 12, the left and right side members 3, and the top wall portion 21 is formed on the bottom structure B of the storage device.
[0052] In this embodiment, the inner dimension in the front-back direction in the storage space sp when the lid 2 is in the open position (H) (that is, the separation dimension between the front wall portion 12 in the standing posture and the top wall portion 21 in the standing posture) is configured to be longer than the inner dimension in the front-back direction in the storage space sp when the lid 2 is in the closed position (T) (that is, the separation dimension between the front wall portion 12 in the standing posture and the rear wall portion 22 in the standing posture).
[0053] In this embodiment, each of the left and right side members 3 and the left and right side wall portions 23 of the lid 2 is sewn on the same line with respect to the bottom structure B.
[0054] <Fastener F> The fastener F is of a known configuration that can bring one fastener component f1 and the other fastener component f2 into contact with and separated from each other by operating a slider f3 interposed between the one and the other fastener components f1, f2.
[0055] One of the fastener components f1 is arranged over substantially the entire upper edge of the front wall portion 12 and extends outward in a band shape from the right edge, which is one side edge of the front wall portion 12.
[0056] The other fastener component f2 is arranged over substantially the entire front edge of the top wall portion 21 in the closed position (T), and extends outward in a band shape from the right edge, which is one side edge of the top wall portion 21.
[0057] The extended ends of the fastener components f1 and f2, which extend outward in a strip shape from the storage container body 1 and lid 2, are connected at a rectangular fastener end portion f4.
[0058] Furthermore, one of the snap button components p1 that constitute the snap button P is provided at the end portion f4 of the zipper. The one snap button component p1 is configured to be detachably attached to the other snap button component p2, which is provided on the outer surface of the rear wall portion 22 of the lid 2.
[0059] <<Left and Right Side Members 3 (First Side Walls)>> The left and right side members 3, which are the first side walls, are provided between the left and right sides of the storage container body 1 and the lid 2.
[0060] When the lid 2 is in the open position (H), the left and right side members 3 are in an upright position relative to the horizontal plane and have a rectangular shape in side view. The upper edges 3e of the left and right side members 3 are formed substantially parallel to the bottom wall portion 11 and the rear wall portion 22 that constitute the bottom structure B when the lid 2 is in the open position (H).
[0061] The lower edges of the left and right side members 3 are connected to the side edges of the bottom wall portion 11 of the storage container body 1 and the side edges of the rear wall portion 22 of the lid 2. In other words, the lower edges of the left and right side members 3 are connected to the side edges of the bottom structure B.
[0062] The front edges of the left and right side members 3 are connected to the side edges of the front wall portion 12 of the storage unit body 1.
[0063] The rear edges of the left and right side members 3 are connected to the side edges of the top wall portion 21 of the lid 2. When the lid 2 is in the open position (H), the rear edges of the left and right side members 3 are connected to the lower side edges of the top wall portion 21, which is in an upright position relative to the horizontal plane.
[0064] The left and right side members 3 are made by layering non-stretchable fabric materials. The left and right side members 3 have a structure that is more flexible than the left and right side walls 23 that make up the lid 2. The left and right side members 3 hardly stretch in the longitudinal and transverse directions.
[0065] The left and right side members 3 deform in accordance with the change in posture between the open position (H) and the closed position (T) of the lid 2.
[0066] When the lid 2 is in the closed position (T), the rear portions 3r of the left and right side members 3, that is, the portions near the rear wall portion 22 and the top wall portion 21 of the left and right side members 3, are bent or flexed inward.
[0067] On the other hand, the left and right side members 3 and the left and right side wall portions 23 are configured to partially overlap when the lid 2 is in the closed position (T). More specifically, the front portions of the left and right side members 3 and the front portions of the left and right side wall portions 23 overlap planarly in the left-right direction when the lid 2 is in the closed position (T).
[0068] On the other hand, when the lid 2 is in the open position (H), the left and right side members 3 extend in a substantially straight line in the front-to-back direction.
[0069] <<Storage Section A>> Storage sections A are provided on the left and right side members 3 for storing items S excluding items specifically for core materials.
[0070] Here, "items exclusively for core materials" refers to items that are used solely as core materials and are not used by the user when they are working, studying, or performing other tasks while stored in a storage container.
[0071] In this embodiment, the "article S excluding the core material-specific article" stored in the storage section A is preferably in the form of a rod, block, or lump.
[0072] Typical examples of "articles S excluding articles specifically for core materials" include stationery, cosmetic tools, and electronic machinery and equipment.
[0073] More specific examples of item S include erasers, containers for adhesives, transfer tools for transferring transfer materials (such as glue and correction tape), pencil lead cases, seals, cosmetic cases for lipstick and mascara, and stick-shaped auxiliary storage devices such as USB memory sticks.
[0074] In this embodiment, the storage section A is formed in a partition shape by the cooperation of the left and right side members 3 and the strip-shaped members 4 attached to the left and right side members 3. The storage section A is capable of partitioning horizontal space. The storage section A is arranged to form a closed loop shape in plan view. The items S stored in the storage section A are supported by the bottom wall 11.
[0075] The strip-shaped member 4 is a strip that is elongated in the front-to-back direction. The front end of the strip-shaped member 4 is attached to the inner surface of the side member 3 by sewing at a front mounting position t1, and the rear end of the strip-shaped member 4 is attached to the inner surface of the side member 3 by sewing at a rear mounting position t2.
[0076] The longitudinal dimension of the strip-shaped member 4 between the front and rear mounting positions t1 and t2 of the side member 3 and the strip-shaped member 4 is set to be longer than the longitudinal dimension of the side member 3 between the front and rear mounting positions t1 and t2 of the side member 3 and the strip-shaped member 4.
[0077] The storage device of this embodiment is capable of suitably storing rod-shaped, block-shaped, or lump-shaped articles S in storage compartments A provided on the left and right side members 3.
[0078] Furthermore, the rod-shaped, block-shaped, or lump-shaped article S stored in the storage section A can function as a core material to maintain the forward position of the left and right side members 3.
[0079] When an item S is stored in the storage compartment A, the front portions of the left and right side members 3 are suitably held in an upright position relative to the bottom wall 11. Therefore, when the lid 2 is open (H), the storage device forms an orderly storage space sp that facilitates the comfortable insertion and removal of items S, such as writing instruments, stored on the tray-shaped bottom structure B.
[0080] In the embodiment described above, the left and right side members 3 are provided with storage sections A capable of accommodating items S other than the core material. By storing items S such as erasers in the storage sections A, the orientation of the side members 3 can be appropriately maintained, thereby improving the usability of the storage device.
[0081] In the embodiment described above, the bottom structure B is configured such that the bottom wall portion 11 and the rear wall portion 22 are substantially flush when the lid 2 is in the open position (H), and the left and right side members 3, which are the first side walls, and the left and right side walls 23, which are the second side walls, overlap when the lid 2 is in the closed position (T). Therefore, it is possible to provide a storage device that has a suitable configuration that makes it easy to secure a wide storage space sp when the lid 2 is in the open position (H), and makes it difficult for the stored items S to spill out when the lid 2 is in the closed position (T).
[0082] As described above, the storage device according to this embodiment comprises a storage device body 1 having a bottom wall portion 11, a front wall portion 12 connected to the bottom wall portion 11, and an opening K above the bottom wall portion 11 through which an article S can be inserted and removed, and a lid body 2 that can take an open position (H) that opens the storage space sp and a closed position (T) that closes the storage space sp. The storage device has left and right side members 3, which are first side wall portions, provided between the left and right sides of the storage device body 1 and the lid body 2.
[0083] The lid 2 has a rear wall portion 22 and a top wall portion 21 that are positioned opposite the front wall portion 12 and the bottom wall portion 11 in the closed position (T), and also comprises left and right side wall portions 23 which are second side wall portions connected to the top wall portion 21.
[0084] The left and right side members 3 are connected to the top wall portion 21, and in the open position (H), the bottom wall portion 11 and the rear wall portion 22 form a continuous bottom structure B that is substantially flush with the surface, and in the closed position (T), the left and right side members 3 and the left and right side wall portions 23 are configured to partially overlap.
[0085] Therefore, this embodiment provides a storage device that has a suitable configuration that makes it easy to secure a wide storage space sp in the open position (H), and prevents stored items S from spilling out in the closed position (T).
[0086] The upper edges of the left and right side members 3 are formed to be approximately parallel to the bottom wall portion 11 when the structure is open (H).
[0087] Therefore, when the left and right side members 3 are in the open position (H), they are positioned in a suitable manner that prevents the article S from spilling out.
[0088] The portions of the left and right side members 3 near the rear wall portion 22 are formed to bend or flex inward when in the closed position (T).
[0089] Therefore, the left and right side members 3 can be suitably deformed in conjunction with the lid 2, which moves between a closed position (T) and an open position (H).
[0090] The left and right side members 3 have a structure that is more flexible than the left and right side walls 23 of the lid 2.
[0091] Therefore, the left and right side members 3 are designed not to impede the movement of the lid 2 as it changes its position between the closed position (T) and the open position (H).
[0092] The left and right side members 3 and the left and right side wall portions 23 of the lid 2 are each sewn to the bottom structure B along the same line.
[0093] Therefore, the left and right side members 3 and the left and right side walls 23 of the lid 2 work together to prevent the stored items S from spilling out to the outside.
[0094] The left and right side members 3 and the left and right side wall portions 23 of the lid 2 are configured to overlap at least their front portions when in the closed position (T).
[0095] Therefore, the left and right side members 3 are designed to prevent excessive reduction of the volume of the storage space sp when in the closed position (T).
[0096] However, the present invention is not limited to the embodiments described in detail above.
[0097] The configuration of the first and second side walls can be set in various ways without departing from the spirit of the present invention.
[0098] For example, the first side wall may be made of a less flexible material, or it may not have a storage compartment.
[0099] Furthermore, the second side wall section only needs to be configured to be connected to at least the top wall section.
[0100] The first side wall and the second side wall may each have approximately equal flexibility.
[0101] The shapes of the first and second side walls are not limited to those shown in the embodiments described above, and can be set to appropriate shapes.
[0102] The upper edge of the first side wall may not be formed substantially parallel to the bottom wall when the structure is open.
[0103] Furthermore, the specific configuration of each part is not limited to the above embodiments, and various modifications are possible without departing from the spirit of the present invention.
