Description

Toilet facility

[0001] The present disclosure relates to a toilet facility, and more particularly, to a toilet facility including a toilet disposed at a position spaced above the floor.

[0002] Patent Document 1 describes a wall-mounted toilet fixed to a wall of a toilet room so as to be located above the floor.

[0003] In this wall-mounted toilet, the rear portion of the wall-mounted toilet is fixed to the wall of the toilet room by a fixture composed of a combination of bolts and nuts.

[0004] In the wall-mounted toilet described in Patent Document 1, an excessive moment is generated in the fixing portion between the toilet and the wall due to the weight of the toilet and the weight of the user sitting on the toilet. In order to withstand such an excessive moment, this wall-mounted toilet is provided with a fixing structure extending from the upper part to the lower part on the rear portion of the toilet. Therefore, this wall-mounted toilet has a problem that the degree of freedom in the rear design of the toilet is low.

[0005] Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2001-342656

[0006] An object of the present disclosure is to provide a toilet facility that can increase the degree of freedom in the rear design of the toilet.

[0007] A toilet facility according to an aspect of the present disclosure includes a toilet and a support member that supports the toilet at a position spaced above the floor of the toilet room. The support member has a fixing portion and a support portion. The fixing portion is fixed to the floor or the wall between the toilet and the wall of the toilet room located away from the toilet. The support portion protrudes from the fixing portion toward the toilet, supports the toilet from below, and the toilet is fixed thereto.

[0008] Figure 1 is a schematic side view showing a toilet fixture according to Embodiment 1 of the present disclosure. Figure 2 is a side view of the same toilet fixture, with the side cover, rear cover, bottom cover, and lining of the toilet bowl omitted from illustration. Figure 3 is a perspective view showing the support member and support frame of the same toilet fixture. Figure 4 is a perspective view showing the same support member. Figure 5 is another perspective view showing the same support member. Figure 6 is a bottom view showing the toilet fixture of Figure 2. Figure 7 is a schematic side view showing a toilet fixture according to Embodiment 2 of the present disclosure.

[0009] (Embodiment 1) 1. The toilet equipment 1 of Embodiment 1 shown in schematic diagrams 1 and 2 comprises a toilet bowl 2 and a support member 3 that supports the toilet bowl 2 at a position above the floor 10 of the toilet room. The support member 3 has a fixing part 4 and a support part 5. The fixing part 4 is fixed to the floor 10 or wall 11 between the toilet bowl 2 and the wall 11 of the toilet room located away from the toilet bowl 2. The support part 5 protrudes from the fixing part 4 toward the toilet bowl 2, supports the toilet bowl 2 from below, and fixes the toilet bowl 2.

[0010] In the toilet equipment 1 of Embodiment 1 having the above configuration, the toilet bowl 2 is supported from below by a support member 3 fixed to the floor 10 or wall 11 between the toilet bowl 2 and the wall 11 behind it, allowing the toilet bowl 2 to be positioned at a location above the floor 10. In the toilet equipment 1 of Embodiment 1, since the toilet bowl 2 is fixed to the support part 5 that supports the toilet bowl 2 from below, it is not necessary to provide a fixing structure on the back side of the toilet bowl 2, and the degree of freedom in the design of the back of the toilet bowl 2 can be increased.

[0011] 2. Details Next, we will explain in more detail the toilet equipment 1 of Embodiment 1 shown in Figures 1 to 6. In the following, we will explain each component of the toilet equipment 1 using the front-to-back and up-and-down directions shown in each figure. The side of the toilet room wall 11 that is located relative to the toilet 2 is the rear side, and the opposite side is the front side. The side of the toilet 2 that is located relative to the floor 10 is the top side, and the opposite side is the bottom side. The direction perpendicular to these front-to-back and up-and-down directions is the left-to-right direction. In other words, the front-to-back, left-to-right, up-and-down directions are defined based on the direction as seen from the perspective of a user seated on the toilet 2.

[0012] The toilet fixture 1 comprises a toilet bowl 2 and a support member 3 that supports the toilet bowl 2 at a position above the floor 10 of the toilet room. The toilet fixture 1 further comprises a lining 6 positioned between the toilet bowl 2 and the wall 11 and a lower cover 7 that covers a part of the support member 3 (specifically, the support part 5).

[0013] 2-1. Toilet As shown in Figures 1 and 2, the toilet 2 comprises a resin toilet body 20 and a metal support frame 21 that supports the toilet body 20. The support frame 21 is located inside the outer shell of the toilet body 20. The toilet body 20 is attached to the front of the support frame 21 and supported by the support frame 21.

The left end of the rear horizontal frame member 211f is integrated with the upper rear surface of the left rear vertical frame member 211b. The rear ends of the left and right front vertical frame members 211a are provided integrally with the upper surface of the rear end of the lower frame 210.

[0025] Fixing plates 212 are attached to the lower ends of the left and right rear vertical frame members 211b, respectively, for fixing them to the support member 3. The fixing plates 212 are L-shaped members when viewed from the side.

[0026] The bottom surface (specifically the very bottom surface) of the toilet bowl 2 is composed of the bottom surface of the lower frame 210 and the bottom surfaces of a pair of left and right fixing plates 212. The support frame 21 is supported from below by the support member 3.

[0027] 2-2. Support Member As shown in Figure 2, the support member 3 has a fixing portion 4 that is fixed to the floor 10 or wall 11 between the toilet bowl 2 and the toilet room wall 11 located away from the toilet bowl 2. The support member 3 further has a support portion 5 that protrudes toward the toilet bowl 2 from the fixing portion 4, supports the toilet bowl 2 from below, and to which the toilet bowl 2 is fixed. The fixing portion 4 includes a floor fixing portion 40 fixed to the floor 10 and an upright portion 41 extending upward from the floor fixing portion 40.

[0028] As shown in Figures 4 and 5, the support member 3 has a pair of left and right fixing parts 4. The pair of left and right fixing parts 4 are spaced apart in the left-right direction. The left and right fixing parts 4 have a common structure.

[0029] The floor fixing portion 40 is a rectangular flat plate. The floor fixing portion 40 is provided with multiple insertion holes through which embedded bolts 42 are inserted. The floor 10 (see Figure 2) is a concrete slab.

[0030] The upright portion 41 protrudes upward from the floor fixing portion 40. The upright portion 41 is provided with an elongated hole 410 that extends in the vertical direction. The elongated hole 410 penetrates the upright portion 41 in the front-to-back direction. A fastener 43 is inserted through the elongated hole 410. The fastener 43 includes a bolt, several (specifically three) nuts, and several (specifically three) washers. The upright portion 41 is firmly clamped between the nut at the rearmost end of the fastener 43 and the head of the bolt, thereby positioning the fastener 43 relative to the upright portion 41. The support portion 5 is attached to the front side of the upright portion 41 by the fastener 43.

[0031] The upright portion 41 has a front plate portion 411, a rear plate portion 412, and a side plate portion 413 that extend upward from the floor fixing portion 40. The upright portion 41 further has an upper plate portion 414 that extends rearward from the upper end of the front plate portion 411.

[0032] The rear plate portion 412 is located behind the front plate portion 411 and parallel to the front plate portion 411. The side plate portion 413 is integrally provided with the left and right outer surfaces of the front plate portion 411 and the rear plate portion 412. Elongated holes 410 are provided in both the front plate portion 411 and the rear plate portion 412.

[0033] In the front plate portion 411, a second elongated hole 415 extending in the vertical direction is provided in the portion below the elongated hole 410. In the rear plate portion 412, a groove 416 extending in the vertical direction is provided in the portion behind the second elongated hole 415. The groove 416 opens toward the front. The portion of the rear plate portion 412 that surrounds the groove 416 protrudes further toward the rear than the rest of the rear plate portion 412.

[0034] The upright section 41 further has a movable plate 417 that is mounted between the front plate section 411 and the rear plate section 412 so as to be movable in the vertical direction. The movable plate 417 has a main body section 4170 that extends parallel to the front plate section 411 and a connecting section 4171 that extends rearward from the upper end of the main body section 4170. The connecting section 4171 is mounted to the upper plate section 414 via a bolt 45 so as to be movable in the vertical direction.

[0035] The main body 4170 is provided with an insertion hole 4172 (see Figure 3) through which the fastener 43 is inserted, and a fixing hole (not shown) for which the spacer 44, described later, is fixed. The insertion hole 4172 is a round hole, and the fixing hole is a screw hole.

[0036] A pair of left and right movable plates 417 are fitted with drain support parts 46 that support the flange 290 of the drain pipe 29 of the toilet bowl 2. By rotating the left and right bolts 45, the left and right movable plates 417 and the drain support parts 46 can be moved up and down together.

[0037] Spacers 44, which protrude forward, are passed through the second elongated holes 415 in each of the left and right front plate portions 411. The spacer 44 consists of a bolt 440, a nut 441, and a U-shaped receiving member 442 that is superimposed on the head of the bolt 440. The bolt 440 is fixed to the fixing hole of the movable plate 417. The fixing device 43 is inserted through the insertion hole of the movable plate 417. Therefore, the spacer 44 and the fixing device 43 can move vertically together with the movable plate 417. The receiving member 442 at the front end of the spacer 44 supports a part of the support portion 5 (the connecting portion 53, which will be described later).

[0038] The support portion 5 protrudes from the fixing portion 4 toward the toilet bowl 2 (i.e., forward), supporting the toilet bowl 2 from below and being configured to fix the toilet bowl 2 in place. The support portion 5 is provided with a connecting portion 53 that extends along the upright portion 41 and is connected to the upright portion 41 in a height-adjustable manner.

[0039] As shown in Figures 3 and 6, the support portion 5 is configured to be located behind the front edge of the lower surface of the toilet bowl 2 (i.e., the front end of the lower frame 210). In addition, in a plan view, the support portion 5 is configured to be located inward in the left-right direction from both the left and right ends of the lower surface of the toilet bowl 2 (i.e., the left and right outer edges of the lower frame 210 and the left and right fixing plates 212).

[0040] As shown in Figures 4 and 5, the support portion 5 comprises a pair of left and right support body parts 50 extending in the front-rear direction, a rear receiving portion 51 provided at the rear end of each of the left and right support body parts 50, and a front receiving portion 52 provided at the front end of each of the left and right support body parts 50. The support portion 5 further comprises a connecting portion 53 provided integrally with the rear end of each of the left and right support body parts 50.

[0041] Each of the left and right support body 50 is formed by integrally combining two L-shaped cross-sectional members. Each of the two L-shaped cross-sectional members is integrally provided with a connecting portion 53.

[0042] As shown in Figure 3, the rear support portion 51 is configured to receive the fixing plate 212 of the support frame 21 of the toilet bowl 2. As shown in Figures 4 and 5, the rear support portion 51 is formed of an L-shaped member fixed to the left and right outer surfaces of a pair of left and right support body portions 50. The rear support portion 51 includes a vertical piece portion 510 fixed to the support body portion 50 and a horizontal piece portion 511 extending outward in the left and right directions from the upper end of the vertical piece portion 510.

[0043] The upper surface of the lateral piece 511 is at the same height as the upper surface of the support body 50. The fixing plate 212 is supported by the support body 50 and the lateral piece 511. The lateral piece 511 is provided with multiple through holes 512 spaced apart in the front-rear direction. As shown in Figure 3, a fastener 8 consisting of a bolt and nut is passed through one of the multiple through holes 512 to fix the lateral piece 511 and the fixing plate 212.

[0044] The front receiving portion 52 is configured to receive the lower end of the front vertical frame member 211a of the upper frame 211 of the support frame 21 of the toilet 2. Further, the front receiving portion 52 is configured to receive the inner peripheral surface of the lower frame 210 of the support frame 21 for positioning.

[0045] As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the front receiving portion 52 is fixed to the outer surfaces in the left-right direction of the respective left and right pair of support portion main bodies 50. The front receiving portion 52 is provided in a curved shape along the inner peripheral surface of the lower frame 210, and includes a vertical piece portion 520 fixed to the outer surface in the left-right direction of the support portion main body 50, and a horizontal piece portion 521 extending inward in the left-right direction from the upper end portion of the vertical piece portion 520.

[0046] The front half portion of the horizontal piece portion 521 is provided longer in the left-right direction than the rear half portion. The front half portion of the horizontal piece portion 521 is supported and reinforced from below by a reinforcing portion 54 attached to the front end portion of the support portion main body 50. The reinforcing portion 54 is formed by integrally combining a U-shaped part 540, a flat plate-shaped part 541, and an L-shaped part 542.

[0047] The front half portion of the vertical piece portion 520 is curved along the inner peripheral surface of the lower frame 210, and the rear half portion extends linearly in the front-rear direction. The vertical piece portion 520 is provided so as to contact the inner peripheral surface of the lower frame 210 over the entire length. As shown in FIG. 3, the lower end of the front vertical frame member 211a is placed on the rear half portion of the horizontal piece portion 521.

[0048] As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the connecting portion 53 is formed of a member having an L-shaped cross section in a flat shape. The connecting portion 53 has a flat plate-shaped first piece portion 530 having a thickness in the front-rear direction, and a flat plate-shaped second piece portion 531 that is integral with the inner end surface in the left-right direction of the first piece portion 530 and has a thickness in the left-right direction. Each of the first piece portion 530 and the second piece portion 531 is in a flat plate shape with the vertical direction as the length direction.

[0049] The lower end of the first piece 530 is integrally provided on the rear surface of the support body 50, and the lower end of the second piece 531 is integrally provided on the left-right inner surface of the support body 50. The upper part of the first piece 530 is provided with a through hole (not shown) that penetrates in the front-rear direction, and the fastener 43 is inserted through this through hole. The first piece 530 and the fastener 43 become one unit when the first piece 530 is tightly clamped by the two nuts on the front side of the fastener 43.

[0050] The first piece 530 is fixed to the upright portion 41 by a fastener 43. The lower rear surface of the first piece 530 is supported by a spacer 44 attached to the lower part of the upright portion 41. As a result, the first piece 530 is positioned parallel to the upright portion 41 and away from the upright portion 41.

[0051] The vertical fixing position of the first piece 530 relative to the upright portion 41 can be changed by changing the position through which the fastener 43 passes in the elongated hole 410 of the upright portion 41 in the vertical direction. The position through which the fastener 43 passes in the elongated hole 410 can be changed by rotating the upper bolts 45 of the left and right upright portions 41 by the same amount. The position through which the fastener 43 passes can be changed with the rearmost nut of the fastener 43 (i.e., the third nut from the front) loosened (i.e., the nut not pressing strongly against the upright portion 41). After changing the position, the rearmost nut of the fastener 43 is tightened to fix the height position of the fastener 43, thereby fixing the upright portion 41 and the connecting portion 53 in place.

[0052] As shown in Figure 3, the toilet bowl 2 is installed on the support section 5. At this time, the inner surface of the lower frame 210 of the support frame 21 contacts the vertical pieces 520 of the pair of left and right front receiving sections 52 of the support section 5 (see Figure 6). The lower end of the front vertical frame material 211a rests on the rear half of the horizontal pieces 521 of the front receiving section 52. The fixing plate 212 of the support frame 21 rests on the horizontal pieces 511 of the left and right rear receiving sections 51 and the upper ends of the left and right support section bodies 50. In this installed state, the toilet bowl 2 can be fixed to the support section 5 by fixing the horizontal pieces 511 of the pair of left and right rear receiving sections 51 and the fixing plate 212 above them with the fixing device 8.

[0053] The vertical pieces 520 of each of the pair of left and right front receiving portions 52 contact the inner circumferential surface of the lower frame 210 of the support frame 21 along their entire length, thereby positioning the toilet bowl 2 relative to the support portion 5 and restricting the lateral and rearward displacement of the toilet bowl 2.

[0054] 2-3. Lining The lining 6 shown in Figure 1 is positioned between the toilet bowl 2 and the wall 11 and covers the fixing portion 4 of the support member 3. The lining 6 also covers the drain pipe (not shown) connected to the drain pipe 29 of the toilet bowl 2. The lining 6 comprises a front plate 60 positioned away from the front side of the toilet room wall 11, a top plate 61 that spans the upper end of the front plate 60 and the wall 11, and a metal support frame 62 that supports the front plate 60 and the top plate 61.

[0055] The support frame 62 has a vertical frame 620 that extends vertically and to which the front plate 60 is attached to the front, and a horizontal frame 621 that extends in the front-to-back direction and to which the top plate 61 is attached to the top surface. The horizontal frame 621 extends rearward from the upper end of the vertical frame 620. The support frame 62 has multiple sets of L-shaped vertical frames 620 and horizontal frames 621 that are spaced apart in the left-to-right direction.

[0056] The front panel 60 is provided with an opening for a portion of the support member 3 to pass through. The opening is covered from the front by the toilet bowl 2, thus minimizing exposure.

[0057] The height of the top edge of the lining 6 (i.e., the top surface of the top plate 61) is lower than the height of the top edge of the toilet bowl 2 (i.e., the top surface of the upper cover 24). The height of the top edge of the toilet bowl 2 (i.e., the maximum height from the floor 10) is approximately 550 mm, and the vertical length of the toilet bowl 2 is 450 mm to 500 mm. In this case, the height of the top surface of the lining 6 is 350 mm to 520 mm.

[0058] The length of the lining 6 in the left-right direction is longer than the length of the toilet bowl 2 in the left-right direction. The length of the lining 6 in the left-right direction is, for example, the same as the distance between the left and right walls of the toilet room.

[0059] 2-4. Lower Cover The lower cover 7 shown in Figure 1 covers the support portion 5 of the support member 3. The lower cover 7 has a cover body 70 that covers the support portion 5 from below, and a cover peripheral wall 71 that extends upward from the outer peripheral surface of the cover body 70. The lower cover 7 is a flat, box-shaped structure with openings at the top and rear.

[0060] The cover body 70 is provided in a semi-elliptical shape in plan view to match the shape of the support portion 5. The cover peripheral wall 71 extends upward from the remaining portion of the outer edge of the cover body 70, excluding the rear end edge, and is provided in a U-shape in plan view.

[0061] The lower cover 7 is attached to the support part 5 or the lower surface of the toilet bowl 2. When the lower cover 7 is attached, the cover peripheral wall 71 is located below the outer peripheral edge of the lower surface of the toilet bowl 2.

[0062] The lower cover 7 can cover almost the entire remaining portion of the support portion 5, excluding the first piece 530 of the connecting portion 53.

[0063] 2-5. Effects and Effects In the toilet equipment 1 described above, the toilet bowl 2 is supported from below by a support member 3 fixed to the floor 10 between the toilet bowl 2 and the wall 11 behind it, allowing the toilet bowl 2 to be positioned at a location above the floor 10. In toilet equipment 1, since the toilet bowl 2 is fixed to the support part 5 that supports the toilet bowl 2 from below, it is not necessary to provide a fixing structure on the back side of the toilet bowl 2, and the degree of freedom in the design of the back of the toilet bowl 2 can be increased.

[0064] Furthermore, in the toilet equipment 1, the support portion 5 of the support member 3 is covered by the lower cover 7, so the structure for supporting the toilet bowl 2 is not very noticeable.

[0065] Furthermore, in toilet equipment 1, the lower cover 7 is contained within the outer periphery of the lower surface of the toilet bowl 2 in a plan view, so the lower cover 7 is also less noticeable.

[0066] Furthermore, in the toilet equipment 1, the lower cover 7 that covers the support portion 5 of the support member 3 is a flat, box-shaped structure, making it easy to clean the lower cover 7.

[0067] Furthermore, in the toilet fixture 1, the fixing portion 4 of the support member 3 is covered with lining 6, making the support member 3 less conspicuous.

[0068] Furthermore, in the toilet equipment 1, the toilet bowl 2 can be easily fixed to the support portion 5 of the support member 3 simply by fixing the two fixing plates 212 on the left and right sides of the support frame 21 with the fixing device 8.

[0069] Furthermore, in the toilet fixture 1, the left and right side covers 25 are attached to the support frame 21 of the toilet bowl 2, and the left and right fixing devices 8 are not exposed, thus allowing for greater freedom in the design of the side of the toilet bowl 2.

[0070] Furthermore, in the toilet equipment 1, the support portion 5 is in contact with the inner surface of the U-shaped lower frame 210 of the support frame 21 along its entire length, making it easy to fix the position of the toilet 2 even with only the fixing plates 212 on the left and right sides.

[0071] Furthermore, in the toilet equipment 1, the support part 5 is height-adjustable relative to the upright part 41 of the support member 3, making it easy to adjust the height of the toilet 2 to suit the user.

[0072] (Embodiment 2) Next, the toilet equipment 1 of Embodiment 2 shown in Figure 7 will be described. In the following, only the configurations of the toilet equipment 1 of Embodiment 2 that differ from the toilet equipment 1 of Embodiment 1 will be described in detail.

[0073] In the toilet equipment 1 of Embodiment 2, the size and arrangement of the lining 6 are set such that when standing in front of the toilet 2 and looking at the toilet 2 from diagonally above, the lining 6 is hidden behind the toilet 2 and difficult to see.

[0074] The height of the upper edge of the lining 6 (i.e., the top surface of the top plate 61) is less than or equal to the height of the midpoint of the toilet bowl 2 in the vertical direction. The length of the lining 6 in the horizontal direction is less than or equal to the length of the toilet bowl 2 in the horizontal direction. The height of the top surface of the lining 6 is, for example, about 250 mm.

[0075] The lining 6 further includes a pair of left and right side panels 63 that cover the space enclosed by the front panel 60 and the top panel 61 from both sides in the left-right direction. The upright portion 41 of the fixing portion 4 of the support member 3 is set at a height that fits within the lining 6.

[0076] In the toilet equipment 1 of Embodiment 2 described above, when one stands in front of the toilet 2 and looks at the toilet 2 from diagonally above, the lining 6 is hidden behind the toilet 2 and difficult to see, making it easy to see that the toilet 2 is floating away from the floor 10 and the wall 11. Therefore, the toilet equipment 1 of Embodiment 2 makes it easy to give the impression that the toilet 2 is floating.

[0077] Furthermore, in the toilet equipment 1 of Embodiment 2, the lining 6 can be made shorter in the vertical and horizontal directions, making it easier to reduce the manufacturing cost of the lining 6.

[0078] (Modifications) Next, modifications of the toilet equipment 1 of embodiments 1 and 2 described above will be explained. The modifications described below can be combined as appropriate.

[0079] The toilet room wall 11 can be any wall 11 located away from the toilet bowl 2, and is not limited to a wall 11 located behind the toilet bowl 2, but may also be a wall 11 located to the side (i.e., left-right) of the toilet bowl 2. In this case, the fixing portion 4 of the support member 3 is located to the side of the toilet bowl 2. Also, the lining 6 is located to the side of the toilet bowl 2.

[0080] The fixing portion 4 of the support member 3 may be fixed to the wall 11 of the toilet room instead of the floor 10 of the toilet room.

[0081] The support portion 5 of the support member 3 does not need to be limited to the structure shown in Figure 4, etc., as long as it protrudes from the fixing portion 4 toward the toilet bowl 2, supports the toilet bowl 2 from below, and fixes the toilet bowl 2. For example, the support member 3 may have a support portion 5 that protrudes toward the toilet bowl 2 (i.e., forward) from the side of the fixing portion 4 facing the toilet bowl 2 (i.e., the front), and the support portion 5 and the fixing portion 4 may be molded integrally. The support portion 5 does not need to be provided with a connecting portion 53, and the height of the support portion 5 may not be adjustable relative to the upright portion 41 of the fixing portion 4.

[0082] The toilet fixture 1 does not need to have a lining 6, and the fixing portion 4 of the support member 3 may be exposed.

[0083] The height of the upper edge of the lining 6 may be greater than or equal to the height of the upper edge of the toilet bowl 2.

[0084] The length of the lining 6 in the left-right direction may be longer than the length of the toilet bowl 2 in the left-right direction.

[0085] The support portion 5 of the support member 3 may be provided to protrude forward from the front end of the lower surface of the toilet bowl 2. In this case, it is preferable to cover the support portion 5 with the lower cover 7.

[0086] The support portion 5 of the support member 3 may be positioned such that, in a plan view, a part of the support portion 5 is located further outward in the left-right direction than both left and right ends of the lower surface of the toilet bowl 2.

[0087] Toilet fixture 1 does not need to be equipped with a lower cover 7.

[0088] In the toilet equipment 1 of Embodiment 2, when the toilet 2 is viewed from the front upper side, the lining 6 should be hidden behind the toilet 2 and not easily visible. The height and length of the lining 6 in the left-right direction are not limited to the above height and length.

[0089] In the toilet equipment 1 of Embodiment 2, the lining 6 is installed so that the top plate 61 is in contact with the wall 11, but the lining 6 may also be installed so as to be located away from the wall 11. In this case, the drain pipe connected to the drain pipe 29 of the toilet 2 is routed through the floor 10.

[0090] The toilet bowl 2 is not limited to having a resin toilet bowl body 20 and a metal support frame 21, but may also be made of ceramic.

[0091] (Summary) As described above in Embodiments 1 and 2 and their modified forms, the toilet equipment (1) of the first embodiment has the following configuration.

[0092] In other words, the toilet equipment (1) of the first embodiment comprises a toilet bowl (2) and a support member (3) that supports the toilet bowl (2) at a position above the floor (10) of the toilet room. The support member (3) has a fixing portion (4) that is fixed to the floor (10) or wall (11) between the toilet bowl (2) and the wall (11) of the toilet room located away from the toilet bowl (2). The support member (3) further has a support portion (5) that protrudes toward the toilet bowl (2) from the fixing portion (4) and supports the toilet bowl (2) from below and to which the toilet bowl (2) is fixed.

[0093] In the first embodiment of the toilet equipment (1) having the above configuration, the toilet bowl (2) is supported from below by a support member (3) fixed to the floor (10) or wall (11) between the toilet bowl (2) and the wall (11), allowing the toilet bowl (2) to be positioned at a location above the floor (10). In the first embodiment of the toilet equipment (1), since the toilet bowl (2) is fixed to the support part (5) that supports the toilet bowl (2) from below, it is not necessary to provide a fixing structure on the back side of the toilet bowl (2), and the degree of freedom in the design of the back of the toilet bowl (2) can be increased.

[0102] In the fourth embodiment of the toilet equipment (1) having the above configuration, when the toilet (2) is viewed from the front and above, the lining (6) is hidden behind the toilet (2) and becomes difficult to see. Therefore, in the fourth embodiment of the toilet equipment (1), the toilet (2) appears to be separated from the floor (10) and walls (11) of the toilet room, making it easier to give the impression that the toilet (2) is floating.

[0103] Furthermore, as described above in embodiments 1 and 2 and their modifications, the toilet equipment (1) of the fifth embodiment additionally includes the following configuration in addition to the configuration of any one of the first to fourth embodiments.

[0104] In other words, in the fifth embodiment of the toilet equipment (1), the support part (5) is located behind the front edge of the lower surface of the toilet bowl (2).

[0105] In the fifth embodiment of the toilet equipment (1) having the above configuration, the support part (5) that supports the toilet bowl (2) from below can be made less conspicuous.

[0106] Furthermore, as described above in embodiments 1 and 2 and their variations, the toilet equipment (1) of the sixth embodiment additionally includes the following configuration in addition to the configuration of any one of the first to fifth embodiments.

[0107] In other words, in the sixth embodiment of the toilet equipment (1), the support portion (5) is located inward in the left-right direction from both the left and right ends of the lower surface of the toilet bowl (2) in a plan view.

[0108] In the sixth embodiment of the toilet equipment (1) having the above configuration, the support part (5) that supports the toilet bowl (2) from below can be made less conspicuous.

[0109] Furthermore, as described above in embodiments 1 and 2 and their modifications, the toilet equipment (1) of the seventh embodiment additionally includes the following configuration in addition to the configuration of any one of the first to sixth embodiments.

[0110] In other words, the toilet equipment (1) of the seventh embodiment further comprises a lower cover (7) that covers the support part (5).

[0111] In the seventh embodiment of the toilet equipment (1) having the above configuration, the support part (5) that supports the toilet bowl (2) from below can be covered with the lower cover (7), thereby suppressing the exposure of the support part (5).

[0112] Furthermore, as described above in embodiments 1 and 2 and their modifications, the toilet equipment (1) of the eighth embodiment additionally includes the following configuration in addition to the configuration of any one of the first to seventh embodiments.

[0113] In other words, in the toilet equipment (1) of the eighth embodiment, the fixing part (4) includes a floor fixing part (40) fixed to the floor (10) and an upright part (41) extending upward from the floor fixing part (40). The support part (5) is provided with a connecting part (53) that extends along the upright part (41) and is connected to the upright part (41) in a height-adjustable manner.
