[0005] The present invention concerns a compensation system for the application of a cover strip applicable to the internal part of any frame , which, through the interlocking overlapping of two specially designed profiles , allows to fill the gap between the face of the frame and the wall of the recess in which the frame is installed, thereby extending the frame length and providing an aesthetically pleasing appearance to the frame , its casing, and the entire wall recess .

CLAIMS1. A compensation system for the interlocking application of a cover strip between a frame and the wall recess that contains it, characterized in that the system comprises: a) an anchoring profile (101) having a U-shaped configuration, comprising a base (102) provided with at least one through hole (103) , positioned at any point along the base (102) , allowing the passage of threaded screws (Y) for securing the support to the frame (X) of the fixture; said anchoring profile further comprising two side walls (104, 105) provided with outwardly projecting hooking edges (106) , which, together with the base (102) , define a coupling groove (107) ; b) a cover strip profile (108) comprising a base portion (109) of variable length depending on the space to be covered between the frame and the wall recess, said cover strip profile (108) including two side walls (110, 111) forming a retaining groove(112) , each having inwardly projecting hooking edges(113) , and a wall portion (114) extending along the base (109) for filling the distance between the frame(X) and the masonry recess (Z) , thereby concealing theunderlying wall surface, wherein the hooking edges(106, 113) engage in a snap-fit connection ensuring mechanical coupling and tolerance compensation without additional fastening means..

The compensation system according to claim 1, wherein, in a second embodiment, the cover strip profile (108) comprises only two side walls (110, 111) provided with inwardly projecting hooking edges (113) for engagement with the anchoring profile (101) when the distance between the frame and the wall recess is limited .

The compensation system according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the system is installed by first drilling a hole in the frame (X) , inserting a screw (Y) through the through hole (103) of the anchoring profile (101) to secure it to the frame, and subsequently snap-fitting the cover strip profile (108) onto the anchoring profile (101) .
