Abstract

The invention relates to a multifunctional eco-friendly bag for a vehicle gear stick, characterised in that it is formed from a two-layer laminar body comprising a front sheet and a rear sheet joined together along the perimeter, except in the upper area, which remains open, defining an opening for access to the inside of the bag, the rear sheet extending to form an upper section that includes a hole of a suitable shape and size to allow the passage therethrough of the vehicle gearstick knob on which it is intended to be used.

[0004] The present invention relates to a device that has been specially designed to constitute a means of storing or collecting waste in vehicle cabins, easily accessible to both the driver and the co-driver, as it can be conveniently, quickly and easily installed on the vehicle's gear shift lever.

[0005] The object of the invention is to provide a device that allows the car to be kept tidy and clean.

[0006] BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0007] Today, caring for the environment has become of paramount importance in the collective consciousness.

[0008] Throwing an object out of a car window is inappropriate and illegal.

[0009] This uncivil act is not only punishable by law, potentially resulting in various fines and penalties, but it can also trigger a series of negative consequences that are worth avoiding, including damage to our environment and the wildlife that inhabits it. Furthermore, keeping a car tidy and clean can be a complicated task.

[0010] EXPLANATION OF THE INVENTION

[0011] The multi-function eco-friendly bag for vehicle gear shift levers proposed by the invention fully and satisfactorily solves the problem described above based on a simple but highly effective solution.

[0012] For this purpose, the bag of the invention is made up of a two-layer laminar body, open at the top, which defines a storage chamber, which can be used both to organize devices or accessories that are usually put into the vehicle, such as keys, glasses, wallet, garage remote, mobile phone, etc., or by determining a compartment in the form of a waste bin to receive items such as soft drink cans, parking tickets, tolls, advertising placed on the vehicle's windshield wipers, chewing gum wrappers, candy wrappers, etc.

[0013] More specifically, the aforementioned storage chamber that defines the bag is easily linked to the vehicle's gear shift lever, whether manual or automatic, by means of an expansion of the bag's back panel, which includes a formal and dimensionally suitable hole to allow the gear shift lever knob to pass through, leaving the bag perfectly stabilized on said lever, defining an element or chamber accessible to the driver, ideal both for storing objects and for use as a waste bin.

[0014] The device thus described can be manufactured in different sizes according to different design lines, and can be used comfortably by the pilot or co-pilot for the different purposes described above.

[0015] Finally, it should be noted that, although the device itself is very cheap to manufacture and market, the inclusion of advertising on it could make it a free promotional advertising element, given the low manufacturing cost and the surface area it offers for advertising.

[0020] PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION

[0021] In view of the figures described, it can be observed how the multi-function ecological bag for vehicle gear shift levers of the invention is constituted from a bi-layer laminar body, in which a front sheet (1) and a rear sheet (2) are established, which in the chosen embodiment have an essentially rectangular configuration, without ruling out other configurations according to different design lines without this affecting the essence of the invention, sheets that are joined together peripherally, except for their upper area, which determines an opening (3) for access to the bag.

[0022] These rear and front sheets can be made of the same or different materials, preferably recycled and environmentally friendly, such as recyclable plastic, neoprene, fabric, non-woven fabric, transparent plastic, etc., so that the rear sheet (2) extends into an upper section (4) above the opening (3), an upper section (4) that includes an opening (5), formally and dimensionally suitable to allow passage through it of the gear shift knob (6) of the vehicle on which it is installed, leaving it perfectly stabilized and accessible to both the driver and the passenger, as shown in Figure 2.

[0023] The bag thus described constitutes a receptacle that can be used to house and organize within it devices (7) or accessories that are usually placed in the vehicle, such as keys, glasses, wallet, garage remote, mobile phone, or similar items, and can also be used as a waste bin or receptacle for waste.

[0024] Finally, it only remains to point out that, as previously stated, the bag is capable of incorporating ornamentation (8) or advertising elements on its front sheet (1) or view, allowing the device to be offered free of charge as an advertising element.

CLAIMS 1 a .- Multifunctional ecological bag for vehicle gear shift levers, characterized in that it is made up of a bi-layer laminar body, in which a front sheet (1) and a rear sheet (2) are established, joined perimetrally to each other, except for its upper area, which remains open, defining an access opening to the interior of the bag, rear sheet (2) which extends into an upper sector (4) which includes an orifice (5), formally and dimensionally suitable to allow passage through it of the knob (6) of the gear shift lever of the vehicle on which it is intended to be implanted.
