[0001] The present invention relates to a window treatment. More specifically, it relates to a device for supporting a window treatment that is fixedly installed in a curtain box, wherein the device ensures durability and allows for easy installation without drilling.
[0002] Window treatment refers to products used to cover or decorate windows. Beyond simply covering windows, window treatments are used for a variety of purposes, including light control, privacy protection, soundproofing, thermal insulation, and interior design.
[0003] Such window treatments can be classified into hard window treatments, soft window treatments, combination treatments, and smart window treatments. Here, hard window treatments may include blinds, shutters, shades, etc. Soft window treatments may include curtains, drapes, valances, etc. Combination window treatments refer to products that combine hard window treatments and soft treatments to achieve both functionality and interior design effects. Smart window treatments refer to products that include advanced features such as motorized systems and voice recognition.
[0004] Meanwhile, a curtain box refers to a structure installed at the top of a window to provide space for installing window treatments. Specifically, a curtain box is a rectangular structure designed to conceal the rails or rods installed at the top of the window for installing window treatments.
[0005] Generally, installing window treatments in a curtain box requires drilling holes in the inner surface of the box using fasteners such as screws or nails to secure rails or rods. However, this method of fixing through drilling can cause damage or deformation to the curtain box, requires separate tools for drilling, and may affect durability depending on the material of the curtain box.
[0006] The objective of the present invention is to provide a non-drilling support device that can be easily installed without drilling, while ensuring durability, in a device for supporting a window treatment that is fixedly installed in a curtain box.
[0007] The technical problems of the present invention are not limited to those mentioned above, and other unmentioned technical problems will be clearly understood by those skilled in the art from the description below.
[0008] To achieve the technical objectives described above, the present invention proposes a non-drilling support device that can be easily installed without drilling while ensuring durability, in a device for supporting a window treatment that is fixedly installed in a curtain box. The non-drilling support device may include a first support unit supported on a first inner wall in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the curtain box, a second support unit coupled to the first support unit so as to be slidably movable in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the curtain box and supported on a second inner wall facing the first inner wall, and a driving unit rotatably coupled to the first support unit to slide the second support unit from the first support unit by rotation.
[0009] Specifically, the first support unit is characterized by comprising: an upper cover having a restraining hole formed on its upper surface having a shape corresponding to that of the driving unit so as to be rotatably coupled thereto; a lower cover coupled to the lower part of the upper cover to form a space into which the second support unit is inserted, having at least one guide groove formed on its upper surface to guide the movement of the second support unit; and a first cap coupled to the side of the lower cover to abut the first inner wall.
[0010] The second support unit is inserted into the internal space of the first support unit and is characterized by comprising a rail body having a plurality of protrusions formed at regular intervals on its upper surface, and a second cap coupled to the side of the rail body and in contact with the second inner wall.
[0011] The above rail body is characterized by having at least one guide bar formed on its lower surface that corresponds to a guide groove formed in the lower cover, and by sliding in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the curtain box with respect to the internal space of the first support unit.
[0012] The above-described drive unit is characterized by comprising: a main wheel having an internal space formed therein and rotatably coupled while constrained in a restraining hole formed in the upper cover; an inner wheel inserted into the internal space of the main wheel and rotating together with the main wheel while in close contact with the upper surface of the rail body, thereby having a plurality of protrusions inserted stepwise; and a hook disposed between the main wheel and the inner wheel, with a portion exposed from the main wheel.
[0013] The inner wheel is formed in the shape of a column with a spiral lower surface and a rail groove is formed on the side, and as it rotates, a plurality of protrusions provided on the upper surface of the rail body are inserted into the rail groove in stages to slide the rail body.
[0014] The plurality of protrusions are characterized by being formed in a tapered shape such that the width of the surface contacting the inner wheel becomes narrower as it approaches the rail body.
[0015] The inner wheel is characterized by being formed in a tapered shape with a slope such that the width becomes wider as it approaches the rail body, so that the surface contacting the plurality of protrusions corresponds to the plurality of protrusions.
[0016] The inner wheel is formed of Teflon (PTFE, Polytetrafluoroethylene) material and is characterized by including a slip member that is coupled to the lower edge of the rail body that contacts the rail body.
[0017] The above-described non-perforating support device is characterized by further including an extension unit coupled to the side of the first support unit to extend the length of the first support unit.
[0018] Specific details of other embodiments are included in the detailed description and drawings.

[0036]
[0037] Meanwhile, to install window treatments in a curtain box, it is essential to drill holes in the inner surface of the curtain box using fasteners such as screws or nails to secure rails or rods. However, this method of fixing through drilling can cause damage or deformation to the curtain box, requires separate tools for drilling, and may affect durability depending on the material of the curtain box.
[0038] To overcome these limitations, the present invention proposes various means for a device fixedly installed in a curtain box to support a window treatment, which ensures durability while enabling easy installation without drilling.
[0039]
[0040] FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a non-perforating support device according to one embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 2 is an illustrative diagram for explaining the operation of a non-perforating support device according to one embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 3 is a perspective view of a non-perforating support device according to another embodiment of the present invention.
[0041] As illustrated in FIG. 1, a non-perforating support device according to one embodiment of the present invention is installed inside a curtain box at regular intervals along the longitudinal direction of the curtain box, thereby supporting a window treatment without perforating. Here, the non-perforating support device according to one embodiment of the present invention is fixedly installed on the inner surface of the curtain box in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the curtain box, thereby enhancing durability and minimizing sagging under load.
[0042] Specifically, as illustrated in FIG. 2, the non-perforating support device may be configured to include a first support unit (100) supported on a first inner wall (10) in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the curtain box, a second support unit (200) coupled to the first support unit (100) so as to be slidably movable in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the curtain box and supported on a second inner wall (20) facing the first inner wall (10), and a driving unit (300) rotatably coupled to the first support unit (100) to slide the second support unit (200) from the first support unit (100) by rotation.
[0043] That is, the user can rotate the driving unit (300) with the first support unit (100) facing the first inner wall (10) and the second support unit (200) facing the second inner wall (20), while positioning the non-perforated support device between the first inner wall (10) and the second inner wall (20). At this time, the direction of the driving unit (300) may be toward the ground.
[0044] As the driving unit (300) rotates, the second support unit (200) can slide toward the second inner wall (20) and be brought into stepwise contact with the second inner wall (20). When the first support unit (100) and the second support unit (200) are brought into contact with the first inner wall (10) and the second inner wall (20), respectively, the user can forcefully rotate the driving unit (300) to completely fix the first support unit (100) and the second support unit (200) to the first inner wall (10) and the second inner wall (20). Additionally, the user can install a window treatment by attaching a curtain rail, curtain rod, bracket, etc., through a hook provided on the driving unit (300).
[0045] Meanwhile, as illustrated in FIG. 3, a non-perforated support device according to another embodiment of the present invention may further comprise an extension unit (400). Here, the extension unit (400) may be detachably coupled to the side of the first support unit (200). Accordingly, the user may selectively attach or detach the extension unit (400) to the first support unit (200) depending on the width of the curtain box.
[0046] Meanwhile, a detailed description of the non-perforating support device according to various embodiments of the present invention will be provided below with reference to the drawings.
[0047]
[0048] First, a first support unit according to one embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail.
[0049] FIG. 4 is a perspective view showing a first support unit according to one embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 5 is an exploded perspective view showing the combined state of the first support unit according to one embodiment of the present invention.
[0050] Referring to FIGS. 4 and 5, a first support unit (100) according to one embodiment of the present invention may be supported on a first inner wall (10) in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of a curtain box. Such a first support unit (100) may be configured to include an upper cover (110), a lower cover (120), and a first cap (130).
[0051] To describe each configuration, the upper cover (110) can be combined with the lower cover (120) to form an internal space for accommodating the second support unit (200). The upper cover (110) may include a top plate (111) and a pair of side plates (112) that extend vertically from both sides of the top plate (111). That is, the upper cover (110) may be a 'U'-shaped frame.
[0052] Additionally, the upper cover (110) may have a restraining hole (111a) formed in the upper plate (111) with a shape corresponding to the driving unit (300). Here, the restraining hole (111a) may be formed by penetrating the upper and lower surfaces of the upper plate (111) and may be formed in a circular shape corresponding to the upper surface of the main wheel (310) to be described later. Here, the diameter of the restraining hole (111a) may be formed to be larger than the diameter of the upper surface of the main wheel (310) and smaller than the diameter of the lower surface. Through this, when the main wheel (310) is inserted from the bottom, the restraining hole (111a) can be made to rotate while restraining the main wheel (310).
[0053] Additionally, the upper cover (110) may have a rotation guide member (111b) formed along the circumference of the restraint hole (111a) on the lower surface of the top plate (111). Here, the rotation guide member (111b) is formed to correspond to the lower surface of the main wheel (310) so as to guide the rotation of the main wheel (310). That is, the rotation guide member (111b) can support the main wheel (310) to rotate stably by restricting the movement of the lower surface of the main wheel (310).
[0054] In the following configuration, the lower cover (120) is coupled to the lower part of the upper cover (110) to form a space into which a second support unit (200) is inserted between the upper cover (110). Here, the lower cover (120) may include a bottom plate (121) and a side plate (122) that extends vertically from one side of the bottom plate (121). That is, the lower cover (120) may be an L-shaped frame.
[0055] Additionally, the lower cover (120) may have at least one guide groove (121a) formed on its upper surface to guide the movement of the second support unit (200). Here, the guide groove (121a) may be formed on a partition wall (121b) that protrudes from the upper surface of the lower plate (121) perpendicular to the sliding direction of the second support unit (120). The guide groove (121a) may be formed in a shape corresponding to the guide bar (211) of the second support unit (200) to be described later.
[0056] For example, the upper cover (110) and the lower cover (120) may be formed from an ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) material. However, they are not limited thereto, and the upper cover (110) and the lower cover (120) may be formed from a material including at least one of PC (Polycarbonate), PP (Polypropylene), PLA (Polylactic Acid), PA (Polyamide), PE (Polyethylene), PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol), ASA (Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate), and HIPS (High Impact Polystyrene).
[0057] In the following configuration, the first cap (130) is attached to the side of the lower cover (120) and can come into contact with the first inner wall (10). For example, the first cap (130) may be formed of a flexible material so as to be in close contact with the first inner wall (10). For example, the material of the first cap (130) may be formed of a material including at least one of silicon, TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane), TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomer), EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer), NBR (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber), TPR (Thermoplastic Rubber), and polyurethane (Polyurethane Foam). Additionally, the first cap (130) may have an embossing formed on its outer surface to maximize contact force with the first inner wall (10).
[0058]
[0059] Hereinafter, a second support unit according to one embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail.
[0060] FIG. 6 is a perspective view showing a second support unit according to one embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 7 is a bottom perspective view showing a second support unit according to one embodiment of the present invention.
[0061] Referring to FIGS. 6 and 7, a second support unit (200) according to one embodiment of the present invention is coupled to a first support unit (100) so as to be slidably movable in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the curtain box, and can be supported on a second inner wall (20) facing a first inner wall (10). Such a second support unit (200) may be configured to include a rail body (210) and a second cap (220).
[0062] To describe each configuration, the rail body (210) can be inserted into the internal space of the first support unit (100). That is, the rail body (210) can be formed in a plate shape that corresponds to the shape of the internal space of the first support unit (100).
[0063] Additionally, the rail body (210) may have a plurality of protrusions (211) spaced apart at regular intervals formed on its upper surface. Here, the width of each of the plurality of protrusions (211) may be formed to be smaller than the width of the rail groove (321) formed on the side of the inner wheel (320). Through this, the plurality of protrusions (211) can be inserted into the rail groove (321).
[0064] Additionally, at least one guide bar (212) corresponding to a guide groove (121a) formed in the lower cover (120) may be formed on the lower surface of the rail body (210). Here, the guide bar (212) is formed to have a length in a direction corresponding to the direction of movement of the rail body (210) so as to guide the movement of the rail body (210). Through this, the rail body (210) can slide in a direction perpendicular to the length direction of the curtain box.
[0065] For example, the rail body (210) may be formed from an ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) material. However, it is not limited thereto, and the rail body (210) may be formed from a material including at least one of PC (Polycarbonate), PP (Polypropylene), PLA (Polylactic Acid), PA (Polyamide), PE (Polyethylene), PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol), ASA (Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate), and HIPS (High Impact Polystyrene).
[0066] In the following configuration, the second cap (220) is attached to the side of the rail body (210) and can come into contact with the second inner wall (20). For example, the second cap (220) may be formed of a flexible material so as to be in close contact with the second inner wall (20). For example, the material of the second cap (220) may be formed of a material including at least one of silicon, TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane), TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomer), EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer), NBR (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber), TPR (Thermoplastic Rubber), and polyurethane (Polyurethane Foam). Additionally, the second cap (220) may have an embossing formed on its outer surface to maximize contact force with the second inner wall (20).
[0067]
[0068] Hereinafter, a driving unit according to one embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail.
[0069] FIG. 8 is an exploded perspective view showing the combined state of a driving unit according to one embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 9 is a bottom view of a driving unit according to one embodiment of the present invention.
[0070] Referring to FIGS. 8 and 9, the driving unit (300) is rotatably coupled to the first support unit (100) so that the second support unit (200) can be slid from the first support unit (100) by rotation. The driving unit (300) may be configured to include a main wheel (310), an inner wheel (320), and a hook (330).
[0071] To describe each configuration, the main wheel (310) has an internal space and can be rotatably coupled while being constrained in a restraining hole (111a) formed in the upper cover (111). Specifically, the main wheel (310) can be formed in the shape of a cylinder with an open bottom. At this time, the diameter of the main wheel (310) can be formed smaller than the diameter of the restraining hole (111a). Additionally, a wing (311) larger than the diameter of the restraining hole (111a) can be formed on the lower surface of the main wheel (310). Through this, the main wheel (310) can be rotatably coupled to the first support unit (100) while being constrained in the restraining hole (111a). Furthermore, a hole (312) for exposing the hook (330) is formed on the upper surface of the main wheel (310), so that a part of the hook (330) can be exposed.
[0072] In the following configuration, the inner wheel (320) is inserted into the internal space of the main wheel (310) and rotates together with the main wheel (310) while in close contact with the upper surface of the rail body (210), so that a plurality of protrusions (211) formed on the upper surface of the rail body (210) can be inserted stepwise. Here, the inner wheel (320) can be fixedly coupled to the main wheel (310) by at least one fixing member (322).
[0073] Specifically, the inner wheel (320) is formed in the shape of a column with a spiral lower surface, and a rail groove (321) can be formed on the side. That is, as shown in FIG. 9, the side of the inner wheel (320) can be formed in a spiral shape that gradually moves away from the central axis (A). Accordingly, as the inner wheel (320) rotates, a plurality of protrusions (211) formed on the upper surface of the rail body (210) are inserted into the rail groove (321) in stages, thereby allowing the rail body (210) to slide.
[0074] That is, when the user rotates the main wheel (310), the inner wheel (320) fixed to the main wheel (310) rotates together, and one of the multiple protrusions (211) can be inserted into the rail groove (321) according to the rotation of the inner wheel (320). The inserted protrusion can move along the inner surface of the inner wheel (320) together with the rotation of the inner wheel (320), and when the inner wheel (320) rotates 360°, the next protrusion can be inserted into the rail groove (321). In this way, as the multiple protrusions (211) are inserted into the rail groove (321) step by step, the rail body (210) can slide relative to the first support unit (100).
[0075] In the following configuration, the hook (330) may be rotatably positioned between the main wheel (310) and the inner wheel (320), and a bracket (331) may be formed with a portion exposed from the main wheel (310). Here, the bracket (331) may be formed in various shapes depending on the type of window treatment to be combined. However, it is not limited thereto, and the bracket (331) may be configured to be separately provided and mounted on the hook (330).
[0076]
[0077] Hereinafter, a driving unit according to another embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail.
[0078] FIG. 10 is an illustrative diagram for explaining a non-perforating support device according to another embodiment of the present invention.
[0079] Meanwhile, a non-perforating support device according to another embodiment of the present invention has substantially the same configuration as a non-perforating support device according to one embodiment of the present invention, except for some components. Therefore, redundant descriptions are omitted, and the same reference numerals are assigned to identical components.
[0080] Referring to FIG. 10, a non-perforating support device according to another embodiment of the present invention may be formed in a tapered shape such that the surface contacting the inner wheel (420) of a plurality of protrusions (411) formed on the upper surface of a rail body (410) becomes narrower as it approaches the rail body (410). Additionally, the inner wheel (420) may be formed in a tapered shape such that the surface contacting the plurality of protrusions (411) becomes wider as it approaches the rail body (410) so that the surface contacting the plurality of protrusions (411) corresponds to the plurality of protrusions (411).
[0081] That is, when a window treatment is installed on the hook (330), tension is generated in the hook (330) in the direction of the ground due to the load of the window treatment. Accordingly, tension is generated together in the main wheel (310) and the inner wheel (420) to which the hook (330) is attached. As a result, a problem may occur in which the inner wheel (420) detaches from the protrusion.
[0082] Accordingly, the non-perforating support device according to another embodiment of the present invention is formed such that the surfaces of the inner wheel (420) and the plurality of protrusions (411) that come into contact with each other are inclined to be staggered, thereby maximizing durability.
[0083] Additionally, the inner wheel (420) may be configured to include a slip member (421) that is coupled to the lower edge of the surface that contacts the rail body (410). Here, the slip member (421) may be formed of a material different from the body (422) of the inner wheel (420). Specifically, the slip member (421) may be formed of Teflon (PTFE, Polytetrafluoroethylene) material. Accordingly, the inner wheel (420) can support the user in easily rotating the inner wheel (420) by reducing friction with the rail body (410) due to rotation while having strong impact resistance. For example, the inner wheel (420) may be formed with the body (422) and the slip member (421) of different materials through double injection molding.
[0084]
