Description

Clothing processing device

[0001] The present invention relates to a clothing processing device.

[0002] Generally, a clothing processing device is a device that manages clothing by supplying water, air, or steam to the target of processing, such as clothing; it is a concept that includes washing devices for washing clothing, drying devices for drying wet clothing, and refreshers for removing odors embedded in clothing or wrinkles.

[0003] Among conventional garment processing devices, there are some designed to include a drum that provides a space for receiving garments, a driving unit that rotates the drum, and a supply unit that supplies steam or hot air to the drum. In garment processing devices with the above-described structure, since steam or hot air must be supplied to the garments while the drum is rotating (since the garments fed into the drum are not in a straightened state), there was a problem of wrinkles remaining on the garments.

[0004] To solve the problem, there is a conventional garment processing device designed to include a cabinet, a first chamber provided inside the cabinet that provides a space for receiving garments, a second chamber provided inside the cabinet that provides a space separated from the first chamber, a supply unit provided in the second chamber that supplies steam or hot air to the first chamber, a support body provided inside the first chamber that supports garments inside the first chamber, and a driving unit that causes the support body to move inside the first chamber (Registered Patent 10-1674942).

[0005] The aforementioned conventional garment processing device was able to remove odors from garments or reduce wrinkles by supplying steam to the first chamber through a steam generator provided in the second chamber. However, since it may be difficult to effectively remove wrinkles from garments merely by supplying steam to garments mounted on a support body and shaking them, there was a need to remove wrinkles or odors by directly spraying steam onto the surface of the garments.

[0006] Meanwhile, in the aforementioned conventional clothing processing device, since the driving unit moves the clothing inside the first chamber through the support body, there is a possibility that the clothing mounted on the support body may fall onto the bottom surface of the first chamber.

[0007] If the garment fails to be mounted on the support body and falls onto the bottom surface of the first chamber, the garment may block the air passage or steam passage supplying the first chamber. In this case, a problem may arise where air or steam cannot be supplied to the first chamber.

[0008] The present invention aims to solve the problem of providing a garment processing device equipped with a steamer capable of effectively removing wrinkles or odors embedded in the garment by spraying steam onto the surface of the garment.

The above-mentioned withdrawal body (137) may be provided as a drawer that can be withdrawn from the second chamber (13) through a withdrawal port (135) provided in the second chamber cover (131). The above-mentioned withdrawal section (136) may be provided with a withdrawal port door (139) that is fixed to one side of the above-mentioned withdrawal body (137) and can close the withdrawal port (135).

[0098] Unlike what is shown in the drawing, the extraction part (136) may be provided as an extraction door that opens and closes the extraction port (135) and is rotatably fixed to the second chamber cover (131). In this case, the storage space (138) may be provided in the extraction door.

[0099] As illustrated in FIG. 10, the clothing processing device (100) may further be provided with a fixing part (16) for fixing the clothes hanger (9) to the door (14). The fixing part (16) may be provided to fix the clothes hanger (9) to the upper area of the door (14) (the space located above the press, the space located above the holder).

[0100] When the hook (911) of the above-mentioned clothes hanger is connected to the above-mentioned fixing part (16), the clothing (L) mounted on the above-mentioned clothes hanger (9) is fixed to the above-mentioned door (14). When the clothing (L) is fixed to the above-mentioned door (14), the user can pull the clothing to spread out the area where steam is needed, so that steam can be intensively supplied to a specific part of the clothing with the above-mentioned steamer (6) to remove wrinkles and odors from the clothing.

[0101] Meanwhile, when steam is supplied to the clothing mounted on the fixed part (16) by the steamer (16), if the hanger (9) rotates around the fixed part (16) or moves inside the fixed part (16), it may cause inconvenience in supplying steam to a specific area of the clothing by the steamer (16).

[0102] To resolve the aforementioned inconvenience, the fixing part (16) may be provided with a structure that prevents the hook (911) of the clothes hanger from rotating away from the door (14), or may be provided with a structure that prevents the hook (911) of the clothes hanger from sliding inside the fixing part (16).

[0103] The above-mentioned fixed part (16) may be provided to include a fixed body (162) fixed to the door (14) and a hook receiving groove (161) provided in the fixed body (162) to receive a hook (911) of the clothes hanger.

[0104] The fixed body (162) may be provided to include a first plate (163) fixed to the inner surface of the door (14) (one surface of the door forming one surface of the first chamber), a hook support part (165) protruding from the first plate (163) and supporting the hook (911) of the clothes hanger, and a second plate (164) fixed to the hook support part (165) and facing the first plate (163). In this case, the hook receiving groove (161) may be defined as a space formed between the first plate (163) and the second plate (164).

[0105] The fixed body (162) may be provided with an anti-slip part (17) that prevents the hook (911) of the hanger from sliding inside the hook receiving groove (161). The anti-slip part (17) may be made of a material different from that of the fixed body (162).

[0106] That is, the anti-slip part (17) may be provided with a material having a friction coefficient greater than the friction coefficient of the fixed body (162). For example, the anti-slip part (17) may be provided with a rubber material.

[0107] Meanwhile, the anti-slip portion (17) may be provided on at least one of the first plate (163) and the second plate (164), and FIG. 10 illustrates an example in which the anti-slip portion (17) is provided on one side of the first plate (163) facing the ring receiving groove (161).

[0108] In order to prevent the hook (911) of the hanger, which is seated inside the hook receiving groove (161), from rotating away from the door (14), the cross-section of the hook receiving groove (17) may be set to be identical to the cross-sectional shape of the hanger hook (911). For example, if the cross-section of the hook receiving groove (17) is provided in a square shape, the cross-section of the hanger hook (911) may also be provided in a square shape.

[0109] Accordingly, the clothing processing device (100) of the present invention can increase ease of use by restricting the movement of the clothing mounted on the fixed part (16) when steam is supplied to the clothing through the steamer (6).

[0110] Meanwhile, when supplying steam to clothing with the steamer (6), if there is a space where the steamer (6) can be temporarily mounted in the door (14) or the first chamber (12), the convenience of using the steamer (6) can be further enhanced. To this end, the clothing processing device (100) may be provided with a holder (2) that provides a space for mounting the steamer (6) withdrawn from the second chamber (13).

[0111] As illustrated in FIG. 11, the holder (2) may be provided with a slider (23) that is movably provided along the width direction of the door (14) and provides a space for the steamer (6) to be attached and detached. The slider (23) may be provided such that one end is withdrawn to a point further than the edge of the door (14) when the door (14) opens the input opening (121). If the door (14) is provided to rotate about a door axis formed to the right of the input opening (121), the slider (23) may be provided such that it is withdrawn to a point further than the right edge of the door (14).

[0112] In order to fix the slider (23) to the door (14) and provide a withdrawal path for the slider (14), the holder (2) may further include a support body (22) fixed to one side of the door (14) facing the first chamber (12).

[0113] As illustrated in FIG. 12 (a), the support body (22) is provided as a board extending along the width direction of the door (14) and can be fixed to the door (14) through a connecting body (21). As illustrated in FIG. 12 (b), the connecting body (21) may be provided to include a first connecting body (211) that fixes one side of the support body (22) to the door (14), and a second connecting body (212) that fixes one side of the support body (22) to the door (14) but is located at a point spaced apart from the first connecting body (211).

[0114] The above connecting body (21) is a means for forming a space between the support body (22) and the door (14), and may be provided as either the first connecting body (211) or the second connecting body (212). In this case, the connecting body (21) may be provided to fix the center of the support body (22) to the door (14).

[0115] The above slider (23) may be provided as a mounting body (231) coupled to the support body (22) through a fastening part (232, 233). The fastening part may be provided to include a first fastening part (232) that connects the upper end of the rear surface (one side of the mounting body facing the support body) of the mounting body (231) to the support body (22), and a second fastening part (233) that connects the lower end of the rear surface of the mounting body (231) to the support body (22).

[0116] In order to prevent the mounting body (231) from being separated from the support body (22) when the slider (23) is withdrawn from the support body (22), the holder (2) may further include a separation prevention part (25). The separation prevention part (25) may be provided to include a slider projection (251) provided on the slider (22), and a stopper (252, 253) provided on the support body (22) to restrict the movement of the slider projection (251).

[0117] As previously mentioned, the door (14) may be configured to rotate via a door shaft located to the left of the input port (121), or may be configured to rotate via a door shaft located to the right of the input port (121).

[0118] Considering this situation, the slider (23) may be configured to move away from the right end of the support body (22) or to be configured to be drawn out away from the left end of the support body (22). Accordingly, the slider projection (251) may be configured to be located at the center of the rear surface of the slider (22), and the stopper may be configured to include a first stopper (252) configured on one side of the support body (22) and a second stopper (253) configured on the other side of the support body (22).

[0119] The holder (2) may be provided with a cradle (24) on which the steamer (6) can be seated, and the cradle (24) may be detachably provided on the slider (23). As shown in FIG. 12 (a), the cradle (24) may be provided to include a seating body (241) on which the spray body (62) of the steamer is seated, and a fastening body (242) protruding from the seating body (241).

[0120] In this case, the slider (23) may be provided with a first mounting groove (234) and a second mounting groove (235) into which the fastening body (242) is inserted, and FIG. 12 illustrates an example in which the first mounting groove (234) and the second mounting groove (235) are provided on the upper surface of the mounting body (231).

[0121] Meanwhile, when the shelf (15) is not used (when the shelf is not mounted in the first chamber), the shelf (15) can be fixed to the door (14) through the holder (2). That is, the shelf (15) can be provided to be mounted in the space between the support body (22) formed by the connecting body (21) and the door (14).

[0122] As illustrated in FIG. 11, the connecting body (21) may be provided with a shelf receiving groove (213) that forms a space for receiving the edge of the shelf through hole (151). FIG. 12 (b) illustrates an example in which the shelf receiving groove (213) is provided in each of the first connecting body (211) and the second connecting body (212).

[0123] To facilitate the insertion of the shelf (15) into the shelf receiving groove (213), the connecting bodies (211, 212) may further be provided with a guide (214). The guide (214) may be fixed to the rear surface of the support body (22) and positioned at the front end of the shelf receiving groove (213) (one end of the shelf receiving groove that contacts the support body).

[0124] FIG. 13 (a) illustrates the state of the holder (2) when the shelf (15) and the steamer (6) are not used, and FIG. 13 (b) illustrates the state of the holder (2) when the shelf (15) is not used but the steamer (6) is used.

[0125] The width and height of the shelf through hole (151) may be provided in a shape longer than the width and height of the slider (24). Accordingly, the user can mount the shelf (15) on the holder (2) by inserting the slider (24) into the shelf through hole (151). Therefore, when the shelf (15) and the steamer (6) are not in use, the user can fix the shelf (15) to the door (14).

[0126] Meanwhile, the shelf receiving groove (213) supports a portion of the shelf (15) that forms the edge of the shelf through hole (151), and the support body (22) and the shelf receiving groove (213) are separated by the guide (214). Accordingly, the user can pull out the slider (24) to one side of the door (14) even when the shelf (15) is mounted on the holder (2). When one end of the slider (24) is pulled out to a point further than the edge of the door (14) (when one end of the slider is pulled out to a position where a cradle can be mounted on the slider), the user will be able to mount the cradle (24) on the slider (24).

[0127] As illustrated in FIG. 14 (a), the operating body (331) of the mounting part (33) is rotatably fixed to the upper surface of the first chamber (12), and the hook (911) of the clothes hanger is inserted into the hook receiving groove (335) provided in the operating body (331). Therefore, when the operating body (331) rotates, the clothes hanger hook (911) may be separated from the hook receiving groove (335) and fall onto the partition wall (111).

[0128] When clothing falls into the above partition (111), the above exhaust port (112), the above air supply port (113), or the above steam supply port (114) can be closed. In this case, it may be difficult to supply air or steam to the above first chamber (12), so a situation may occur where it is difficult to process the clothing mounted on the above mounting part (33).

[0129] In order to prevent the hook (911) of the above-mentioned clothes hanger from being separated from the hook receiving groove (335), the mounting portion (33) may be provided to include an extension body (333) that protrudes from the operating body (331) and supports the hook (911) of the above-mentioned clothes hanger, and a detachment prevention portion (334) fixed to the extension body (333) so as to face one side of the operating body (331).

[0130] As illustrated in FIG. 14, the anti-removal part (334) may be provided as an anti-removal body (335) fixed to the extension body (333). FIG. 14 (a) illustrates a case where the width of the anti-removal body (335) is set to be the same as the width of the operating body (331), and FIG. 14 (b) illustrates a case where the width of the anti-removal body (335) is set to be larger than the width of the operating body (331).

[0131] If the surface area of the anti-removal body (335) facing the operating body (331) is set wider than the surface area of the operating body (331) facing the anti-removal body (335), the possibility of the hanger hook (911) being pulled out of the hook receiving groove (335) can be reduced. This is because the frictional force between the hanger hook (911) and the anti-removal body (335) will increase when the hanger hook (911) is pulled out of the hook receiving groove (335).

[0132] Accordingly, as illustrated in FIG. 14 (b), the anti-removal body (335) may be provided to include a base (335a) fixed to the extension body (333) with a width equal to the width of one side of the operating body (331), and a protruding surface (335b, 335c) protruding from at least one of the two edges of the base (335a) toward a direction away from the extension body (333).

[0133] FIG. 14 (b) illustrates an example in which the protruding surface is provided with a first protruding surface (335b) protruding from one edge of the base (335a) in the direction where the free end (F) of the hanger hook (911) is located, and a second protruding surface (335c) protruding from the other edge of the base (335a) in the opposite direction to the first protruding surface (335b).

[0134] The first protruding surface (335b) may be provided such that the lower region contacting the hanger hook (911) protrudes further from the extension body (333) than the upper region not contacting the hanger hook (911). The first protruding surface (335b) is a means of reducing the possibility of the hanger hook (911) being separated from the hook receiving groove (335) by increasing the frictional force between the free end (F) of the hanger hook and the anti-removal body (335).

[0135] Meanwhile, the second protruding surface (335c) may be provided such that the upper region that does not contact the hanger hook (911) protrudes further from the extension body (333) than the lower region that contacts the hanger hook (911). The second protruding surface (335b) may serve as a means to prevent the hanger distance (911) from being pulled out of the hook receiving groove (335) when the hanger hook (911) moves away from the first protruding surface (335b).

[0136] FIG. 15 illustrates an example of the above-mentioned clothes hanger (9). The clothes hanger (9) may be provided to include a hub (91) equipped with the above-mentioned clothes hanger hook (911), a first arm (92) and a second arm (93) fixed to the hub (91) and providing a space for supporting clothing. The first arm (92) and the second arm (93) may be provided at symmetrical positions with respect to the hub (91).

[0137] In order to support clothing of various sizes, the first arm (92) and the second arm (93) may be provided with a structure capable of lengthening. As shown in FIG. 16, the first arm (92) may be provided to include a first fixed arm (921) fixed to the hub (91) and a first extension arm (924) that can be withdrawn from the first fixed arm (921), and the second arm (92) may be provided to include a second fixed arm (931) fixed to the hub (91) and a second extension arm (934) that can be withdrawn from the second fixed arm (931).

[0138] The first extension arm (924) may be provided with a first pad (929) to prevent clothing from slipping, and the second extension arm (934) may be provided with a second pad (939) to prevent clothing from slipping. The first pad (929) may be provided with a material having a higher coefficient of friction than the first extension arm (924), and the second pad (939) may be provided with a material having a higher coefficient of friction than the second extension arm (934). The first pad (929) and the second pad (939) may be provided with rubber, etc.

[0139] The first extension arm (924) may be provided with a first receiving space (925) into which the first fixing arm (921) is inserted, and the second extension arm (934) may be provided with a second receiving space (935) into which the second fixing arm (931) is inserted.

[0140] Meanwhile, the first arm (92) may be provided to include a first lock (923) provided on the first fixed arm (921), a first pull-out prevention projection (928) provided on the first extension arm (924), and a first fixing projection (927) provided on the first extension arm (924).

[0141] The first fixing projection (927) is a means of preventing the first extension arm (924) from moving away from the hub (91) without external force by contacting the first lock (923) (see FIG. 15). Meanwhile, the first withdrawal prevention projection (928) is located at a point spaced apart from the first fixing projection (927) and is a means of preventing the first extension arm (924) from separating from the first fixing arm (921) by contacting the first lock (923) when the first extension arm (924) moves away from the hub (91) (see FIG. 16).

[0142] The second arm (93) may be provided to include a second lock (933) provided on the second fixed arm (931), a second pull-out prevention projection (938) provided on the second extended arm (934), and a second fixed projection (937) provided on the second extended arm (934).

[0143] The second fixing projection (937) is a means of preventing the second extension arm (934) from moving away from the hub (91) without external force by contacting the second lock (933) (see FIG. 15). Meanwhile, the second withdrawal prevention projection (938) is located at a point spaced apart from the second fixing projection (937) and is a means of preventing the second extension arm (934) from separating from the second fixing arm (931) by contacting the second lock (933) when the second extension arm (934) moves away from the hub (91) (see FIG. 16).

[0144] Despite the above-described anti-removal part (334), the clothes hanger (9) may be detached from the mounting part (33) and fall to the partition wall (111), and the clothing mounted on the clothes hanger (9) may be detached from the clothes hanger (9) and fall to the partition wall (111).

[0145] To determine whether clothing has fallen onto the partition wall (111), the clothing processing device (100) may further be equipped with a sensing unit (8). The sensing unit (8) may be provided on the rear surface (127) of the first chamber (12).

[0146] That is, as illustrated in FIG. 7, a sensing unit mounting hole (128) is provided on the rear surface (127) of the first chamber, and the sensing unit (8) may be provided to detect the amount of light reflected from the partition wall (111) through the sensing unit mounting hole (128).

[0147] When clothing falls onto the partition (111), the amount, intensity, or brightness of light incident on the detection unit (8) will be different from the amount, intensity, and brightness of light incident on the detection unit (8) when clothing does not fall onto the partition (111). This is because when clothing falls onto the partition (111), the light detected by the detection unit (8) is likely to be light reflected from the clothing.

[0148] Accordingly, if the detection unit (8) is configured to emit light to the partition wall (111) through the detection unit mounting hole (128) and to detect the intensity or brightness of the light reflected from the partition wall (111), it is possible to determine whether clothing has fallen onto the partition wall (111).

[0149] In order to detect light reflected from the above partition (111) more effectively, it is preferable that the detection unit (8) be provided at a point higher than the partition (111). That is, the detection unit mounting hole (128) may be provided on the rear surface (127) so as to be located above the partition (111).

[0150] The above-mentioned sensing unit (8) may be provided to include a sensor cover (82) that is fixed to the inner case (11) and closes the sensing unit mounting hole (128), and a sensor (81) that emits light to the partition wall (111) through the sensor cover (82) and detects the light reflected from the partition wall.

[0151] As illustrated in FIG. 17, the sensor cover (82) is provided with a transparent material, and the sensor (81) can be fixed to the sensor cover (82). That is, the sensor cover (82) may be provided to include a cover fixing body (821) that is fixed to the rear surface (127) of the first chamber and is provided in a shape that surrounds the sensing unit mounting hole (128), and a sensor mounting body (822) that protrudes from the cover fixing body (821) and is inserted into the sensing unit mounting hole (128).

[0152] The sensor mounting body (822) is provided with a light-emitting area (823), and the sensor (81) can be fixed to the sensor mounting body (822) so as to be located behind the light-emitting area (823). When the sensor cover (82) is fixed to the rear surface (126), the light-emitting area (823) can be provided to form a part of the rear surface (126).

[0153] To prevent foreign substances from entering the sensor (81), the detection unit (8) may further include a sealer (824). The sealer (824) may be provided to surround the sensor mounting body (822) to seal the space between the detection unit mounting hole (128) and the sensor cover (82).

[0154] The sensing unit (8) of the above-described structure may have its sensing performance reduced depending on the brightness of the space where the clothing processing device (100) is installed. This is because if the illuminance of the space where the clothing processing device (100) is installed is high, the illuminance of the space where the sensing unit (8) is installed (the space between the rear surface of the first chamber and the cabinet) may increase.

[0155] To prevent a decrease in the detection performance of the above-mentioned detection unit (8), the detection unit (8) may further include a blocking cover (83) that is fixed to the sensor cover (82) or the rear surface (127) to block light from entering from the edge of the sensor (81) and the rear of the sensor (81). When the sensor cover (82) is fixed to the rear surface (127), the blocking cover (83) may be fixed to the cover fixing body (821) and positioned outside the first chamber (12).

[0156] The above-mentioned blocking cover (83) may be made of an opaque material, or may be provided with a structure in which an opaque film is fixed or coated on the inner surface (the surface facing the direction in which the sensor is located) or the outer surface.

[0157] To increase the detection performance of the above detection unit (8), the clothing processing device (100) may further be provided with a reflector that reflects light emitted from the sensor (81).

[0158] FIG. 7 illustrates an example in which the above-mentioned reflector is provided on the exhaust cover (115).

[0159] The exhaust cover (115) may be provided with a cover body (116) positioned above the exhaust port (112) to prevent the exhaust port (112) from being blocked by clothing. The gap between the exhaust cover (115) and the exhaust port (112) is maintained by a spacer (117) fixed to the bottom surface of the cover body (116), and the reflective part (118) may be provided on the spacer (117).

[0160] The above spacer (117) may be provided with a first spacing plate (117a) and a second spacing plate (117b) fixed at positions symmetrical to each other with respect to a horizontal line (reference line, S) passing through the center of the sensing part mounting hole (128).

[0161] The first separation plate (117a) may be provided with an inclination that moves away from the reference line (S) as it faces the sensing unit mounting hole (128), and the second separation plate (117b) may be provided with an inclination that moves away from the reference line (S) as it faces the sensing unit mounting hole (128).

[0162] In this case, the reflector (118) may be provided to include a first reflector fixed to the surface facing the sensing unit mounting hole (128) in the space provided by the first spacing plate (117a), and a second reflector fixed to the surface facing the sensing unit mounting hole (128) in the space provided by the second spacing plate (117b).

[0163] The clothing processing device and control method described above are examples of the present invention, and therefore the scope of the present invention cannot be limited to the structure or control method described above.
