Abstract

The present invention ensures that the sealing properties of a sealing structure can be maintained properly even when an external force acts on a main body case or a lid body constituting a main body part. A main body part 1 of this compact electrical equipment includes: a container-like main body case 9 having an assembly port 8 in an upper part; a lid body 10 that closes off the assembly port 8; an inner case 11 which is accommodated in the interior of the main body case 9 and the lid body 10 and which holds a power supply part 16; and a sealing structure 12 for sealing a space between the main body case 9 and the lid body 10 in a watertight manner. The sealing structure 12 comprises: a tubular assembly peripheral wall 66 forming the assembling port 8 of the main body case 9; a tubular lid peripheral wall 63 forming the lid body 10 and disposed in a state of vertically abutting the assembly peripheral wall 66; a sealing ring 67 mounted on the inner case 11 and internally fitted over both peripheral walls 63, 66; and ring-shaped gaskets 68, 69 disposed between opposing surfaces of the lid peripheral wall 63 and the sealing ring 67 and between opposing surfaces of the assembly peripheral wall 66 and the sealing ring 67.

Claims

1. The device comprises a main body (1) that houses a power supply unit (16) for driving the functional member (2), the main body (1) includes a container-shaped main body case (9) having an assembly opening (8) at the top, a lid (10) that closes the assembly opening (8), an inner case (11) housed inside the main body case (9) and the lid (10) to hold the power supply unit (16), and a seal structure (12) that seals the space between the main body case (9) and the lid (10) in a watertight manner. A small electrical device characterized in that the sealing structure (12) is composed of a cylindrical assembly peripheral wall (66) that forms an assembly opening (8) of the main body case (9), a cylindrical lid peripheral wall (63) that forms a lid (10) and is positioned to abut the assembly peripheral wall (66) vertically, a sealing ring (67) that is attached to the inner case (11) and fits inside, straddling both peripheral walls (63 and 66), and ring-shaped packings (68 and 69) that are positioned between the opposing surfaces of the lid peripheral wall (63) and the sealing ring (67) and between the opposing surfaces of the assembly peripheral wall (66) and the sealing ring (67).

The small electrical device according to claim 1, comprising a motor (15) that drives a functional member (2) with power supplied from a power supply unit (16), wherein the motor (15) is held together with the power supply unit (16) in an inner case (11), the inner case (11) comprises a motor holding part (27) that holds the motor (15) inside, the motor holding part (27) is constructed by joining a split cylindrical motor case (29) and a motor cover (30) that are divided into front and rear halves, and a seal ring (67) is fitted onto the cylindrically joined motor case (29) and motor cover (30).

The inner case (11) has fastening seats (59) for case screws (57) that fasten the inner case (11) to the main case (9) formed in a circumferential manner, the seal ring (67) that is attached to the inner case (11) has its lower end supported by the fastening seats (59), and a recess (71) is formed on the lower end surface of the seal ring (67) to receive the operating head (57a) of the case screw (57), as described in claim 1.

4. The small electrical device according to claim 3, wherein the seal ring (67) is held vertically between a lid wall (64) formed to protrude inward from the lid peripheral wall (63) of the lid body (10) and a fastening seat (59) of the inner case (11), and a plurality of spacers (72) consisting of easily deformable rib-like projections that are crushed vertically when the lid body (10) is assembled to the main case (9) are provided protruding from the upper end surface and / or lower end surface of the seal ring (67).

The small electrical device according to claim 4, wherein the seal ring (67) is made of an annular body with a constant wall thickness (t), and the height dimension (H) of the spacer (72) before assembly, which is defined by the protruding height along the vertical direction of the seal ring (67), is set to be smaller than the wall thickness (t) of the seal ring (67).

The small electrical device according to claim 4, wherein the seal ring (67) is made of an annular body with a constant wall thickness (t), and the width dimension (B) of the spacer (72) before assembly, which is defined by the forming width along the circumferential direction of the seal ring (67), is set to be smaller than the wall thickness (t) of the seal ring (67).

The small electrical device according to claim 4, wherein the seal ring (67) is made of an annular body with a constant wall thickness (t), and the length dimension (L) of the spacer (72) before assembly, which is defined by the forming length along the radial direction of the seal ring (67), is set to be less than or equal to the wall thickness (t) of the seal ring (67).

The miniature electrical device according to claim 1, wherein the power supply unit (16) includes a battery (17) and a circuit board (18) having a motor drive circuit, the circuit board (18) has a semiconductor element (38) that controls the current supplied to the motor (15), one end of the circuit board (18) in the longitudinal direction is supported by a locking piece (35) formed on the outer surface of the inner case (11), and the other end is supported by a support column (36) protruding from the outer surface of the inner case (11), and a ventilation space (37) that allows air to flow is provided between the circuit board (18) and the outer surface of the inner case (11), and the semiconductor element (38) mounted on the circuit board (18) faces the ventilation space (37).
