Abstract
This deposit removal system comprises: an ammonia gas pipe that is in communication with an ammonia gas outlet provided at a column top portion of a distillation column for recovering ammonia from aqueous ammonia and through which ammonia gas flows; and a collection unit that is provided on the ammonia gas pipe and collects deposits formed from the ammonia gas. The ammonia gas pipe includes a supply port for a thermal fluid containing steam or water and a discharge port for the thermal fluid, the supply port and the discharge port being provided so as to have at least a portion of the collection unit therebetween in the flow direction of the ammonia gas in the ammonia gas pipe.
