[0035] FIG. 1 is a block diagram showing the configuration of a shopping service providing system (10) according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. Referring to FIG. 1, the shopping service providing system (10) may include a user terminal (100) and a service server (200).

[0036] A user terminal (100) may be a computing device used by a user to receive shopping services from a service server (200). As illustrated exemplarily in FIG. 1, the user terminal (100) may include a smartphone (100a), a desktop (100b), a laptop (100c), etc. However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto, and the user terminal (100) may be implemented as any device. In the following, any user terminal (e.g., 100a) or all user terminals (e.g., 100a to 100c) collectively will be denoted by reference numeral 100. The user terminal (100) may be referred to as a 'client terminal', a 'buyer / purchaser terminal', a 'consumer terminal', etc.

[0037] The service server (200) may refer to a computing device / system that provides shopping services. For example, the service server (200) may refer to a device / system that provides an online shopping site (e.g., a shopping mall server). The service server (200) may provide shopping services for registered products.

[0038] Meanwhile, in the present disclosure, the service server (200) providing a specific page to a user may mean rendering the page on the screen of the user terminal (100) (e.g., the screen of a web browser or application running on the user terminal (100)). Accordingly, in the following specification, rendering a specific component will be understood as displaying the corresponding specific component on the screen of the user terminal (100).

[0039] More specifically, the service server (200) can render a shopping cart page to display products that the user has added to the shopping cart (also referred to as a shopping cart). The shopping cart page can display multiple pieces of information related to the products that the user has added to the shopping cart. For example, the multiple pieces of information related to the products may include the product name, the product image, information related to the product price, information related to the product delivery, information related to the product discount, and information related to the product rating. On the shopping cart page rendered in this way, the user can select the products they ultimately wish to purchase to complete the product purchase.

[0040] A service server (200) according to an embodiment of the present disclosure may receive a selection from a user for at least one piece of information to be displayed on a shopping cart page among a plurality of pieces of information related to a product. To this end, the service server (200) may render a widget for receiving a selection for information to be displayed on a shopping cart page. Then, the service server (200) may display at least one piece of information selected on the shopping cart page and hide the remaining information excluding the displayed information.

[0041] The maximum number of at least one piece of information that a user can select may be set differently depending on the display specifications of the user terminal (100). As the size or resolution of the display of the user terminal (100) increases, more information can be displayed on the shopping cart page, so naturally, the maximum number of at least one piece of information that a user can select will also increase.

[0042] In some embodiments, the service server (200) may receive different selections for at least one piece of information for each product category. For example, product categories may include food, household goods, beauty, home interior, home appliances / digital, kitchenware, maternity / baby products, etc. For example, the user may select at least one piece of information to display only delivery-related information for the food category and only discount-related information for the home appliances / digital category.

[0043] In some other embodiments, the service server (200) may automatically select at least one piece of information based on the results of analyzing the user's activity during a preset period. For example, if the analysis of the user's activity shows that the user mainly viewed products by sorting by price on the search results page, the service server may automatically set the shopping cart page to display information related to price. Alternatively, if the analysis of the user's activity shows that the user mainly viewed products by sorting by delivery time on the search results page, the service server may automatically set the shopping cart page to display information related to delivery.

[0044] On the other hand, even if the user determines at least one piece of information to display on the shopping cart page and the remaining information to hide, all information may be displayed until a certain number of products are added, rather than being immediately hidden based on the number of items added to the cart. This is because there is no need to display only partial information when there is available space on the shopping cart page.

[0045] Specifically, if the number of products added to the shopping cart is less than a preset first threshold, the service server (200) may display all remaining information on the shopping cart page except for at least one piece of information selected by the user. Next, if the number of products added to the shopping cart is greater than or equal to the first threshold and less than a preset second threshold, the service server (200) may hide only some of the remaining information. Finally, if the number of products added to the shopping cart is greater than or equal to the second threshold, the service server (200) may hide all of the remaining information.

[0046] The service server (200) may display a popup indicating the remaining information that has been hidden in response to a user's preset operation regarding a product displayed on the shopping cart page. For example, the remaining information that has been hidden may be displayed as a popup in response to a user's mouse hovering or long tap action regarding a product. Furthermore, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, if only at least one piece of information selected by the user among a plurality of pieces of information related to a product is displayed on the shopping cart page, the service server (200) may display a message on the shopping cart page indicating that only some information is displayed and the remaining information is hidden.

[0047] Through the above-described embodiments, the user can selectively display information that plays an important role in the purchase decision of a product on a shopping cart page rendered in a limited space on the user terminal (100), so the user experience for making a final purchase decision when multiple products are added to the shopping cart can be improved.

[0048] The service server (200) may be implemented with at least one computing device. For example, all functions of the service server (200) may be implemented in a single computing device, or the first function of the service server (200) may be implemented in a first computing device and the second function may be implemented in a second computing device. Alternatively, specific functions of the service server (200) may be implemented in multiple computing devices. For example, the computing device may include all types of devices equipped with computation means and communication means.

[0049] The user terminal (100) can also perform various operations / functions to provide the shopping service described above. For example, the shopping service of the service server (200) can be provided through a web browser or application of the user terminal (100). For instance, the user terminal (100) can receive input for a selection of information to be displayed among information related to multiple products in conjunction with the service server (200), and can display the input information on a shopping cart page displayed on a web browser or application and hide the remaining information.

[0050] As illustrated in FIG. 1, the user terminal (100) and the service server (200) can communicate through a network. For example, the network can be implemented as any type of wired or wireless network, such as a Local Area Network (LAN), a Wide Area Network (WAN), a mobile radio communication network, or Wibro (Wireless Broadband Internet).

[0051] Up to this point, with reference to FIG. 1, a shopping service provided by a user terminal (100) and a service server (200) according to some embodiments of the present disclosure has been described in a schematic manner. Hereinafter, a method for providing a shopping service according to some embodiments of the present disclosure will be described through a specific user interface displayed on the user terminal (100). For example, the user interface may be a screen displayed on an application running on the user terminal (100) or on a web browser.

[0052] FIG. 2 illustrates an exemplary shopping cart page (20) according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. Referring to FIG. 2, a plurality of information related to products added to the shopping cart by the user is displayed on the shopping cart page (20). For example, the plurality of information related to products may include the product name (21), information related to product delivery (22), information related to product discounts (23), information related to product prices (24), and information related to purchase benefits or promotions (25). The user may select the quantity of products and make a final purchase decision by selecting a checkbox displayed to the left of the product name. When the user selects the product information filter (26), a widget for filtering the information desired by the user may be rendered.

[0053] FIG. 3 illustrates, by way of example, filtering product information on a shopping cart page (20) according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. Referring to FIG. 3, a widget (27) for filtering product information is shown. On the widget, the user can select at least one of the following: product name, product image, information related to price, information related to unit price, information related to discount, information related to delivery, and information related to promotion. In response to the user's selection, the plurality of information displayed on the shopping cart page (20) may change. For example, referring to FIG. 3, it is shown that among the plurality of information related to the product, the product name, product image, information related to price, and information related to discount are selected.

[0054] FIG. 4 illustrates an exemplary shopping cart page (20) with filtered product information according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. Referring to FIG. 4, it is shown that only the name (21), image of the product, information related to discounts (23), and information related to price (24) of the product selected in FIG. 3 are displayed, and information related to delivery is not displayed. Similarly, for the remaining products, only the name, image of the product, information related to discounts, and information related to price are displayed, and information related to delivery is not displayed. Meanwhile, a message (28) indicating that only some of the product information is currently being displayed may be output at the bottom of the shopping cart page (20). Meanwhile, as described with reference to FIG. 1, some of the remaining information that is to be hidden depending on the number of products added to the shopping cart (e.g., information related to product delivery in FIG. 4) may be displayed together.
