The battery cell further comprises adapter pieces. The adapter pieces each comprise a pole connecting part, a tab connecting part, and a deformation part connected to the pole connecting part and the tab connecting part. The deformation part can rotate around the tab connecting part and can rotate around the pole connecting part. The tab connecting part is connected to the corresponding tab of the cell core. The pole connecting part is connected to the corresponding pole. The inner surface of the cover plate is provided with recesses. At least part of each adapter piece is located in the corresponding recess. The battery cell and the assembly method therefor, the battery, and the electric device provided in the present application have low assembly difficulty and a high space utilization rate.
