Pouch battery comprising: a battery cell; a packaging film comprising a main body and two fold-edge structures, each connected to two opposing side faces of the main body in a width direction; wherein the main body has a receiving cavity and the battery cell is arranged in the receiving cavity;Each of the fold-edge structures comprises a first fold section, a second fold section, and a third fold section, wherein a first end of the first fold section is connected to a side face of the main body, a second end of the first fold section is connected at a first fold point to a first end of the second fold section, a second end of the second fold section is connected at a second fold point to a first end of the third fold section, the first fold point and the second fold point are arranged between a top and a bottom of the main body in a thickness direction of the battery cell, and a minimum distance between the third fold section and the battery cell in the width direction L is 0.3 mm ≤ L ≤ 2.5 mm; a fixing adhesive is arranged between the third fold section and the side face of the main body to fix the third fold section relative to the main body.
