Abstract

1. Design 1: the design consists of a therapeutic, ergonomic chair with a movable, adjustable seat having an ellipse-like seat adjustable into a longitudinal position (e.g., Figs. 1.1-1.4) or vertical / perpendicular position (e.g., Figs. 1.5-1.7) with respect to thebackrest; the backrest consists of a lower part and a moveable, upper part shown in an extended position (e.g., Figs. 1.1-1.4) and in a retracted position (e.g., Figs. 1.5-1.7); the chair includes two moveable armrests to varying positions, including, e.g., shownin a forward position at the front (e.g., Figs. 1.1-1.4) and shown in a reversed position at the rear (e.g., Figs. 1.5-1.7).; 2. Design 2: the design consists of a therapeutic, ergonomic chair with a movable, adjustable seat having an ellipse-like seat with a central hole, and adjustable into a longitudinal position (e.g., Figs. 2.6, 2.7) or vertical / perpendicular position (e.g., Figs.2.1-2.5) to the backrest; the backrest consists of a lower part and a moveable, upper part shown in an extended position (e.g., Figs. 2.1-2.7) and not shown in the retracted position; the chair includes two moveable armrests to varying positions, including,e.g., shown in a forward position at the front (e.g., Figs. 2.1-2.2, 2.5), shown in a reversed position at the rear (e.g., Fig. 2.4), and shown in a third position (e.g., Figs. 2.3, 2.6, 2.7).
