Crematory urn

Abstract

The funerary urn is a monolithic, vertically oriented vessel with a truncated-conical geometry based on an elliptical cross-section. Along each of the two principal vertical edges runs a continuous, sinusoidal “S-shaped” groove that extends the full height of the object; this groove may be accentuated by contrasting materials or colors relative to the main body. From these grooves, on both the left and right flanks, emerge gently undulating lateral panels with soft curvature whose visual prominence tapers toward the central region of each face. The upper portion terminates in a concave surface that merges seamlessly with the perimeter rim, free of interruptions or discontinuities.
