Abstract

The article is an impeller used in water jet propulsion systems for watercraft such as planing boats; by forming an outer periphery forming portion on the outer periphery of the recessed portion on the bottom surface of the impeller, the volume of the recessed portion on the bottom surface of the impeller is reduced, thereby reducing the amount of bubbly water that enters and accumulates from the outside; this prevents the impeller from spinning freely due to cavitation that occurs when the bubbly water is released to the outside and circulates around the underside of the outer blade of the impeller; the portion indicated by the solid line is the part for which a design registration is sought as a partial design.
