Claims
A process for recovering dissolved precious metals from an aqueous solution containing thiosulfate and precious metal. The process includes contacting the precious metal-thiosulfate solution with an amino acid (or derivative thereof) and activated carbon to adsorb the precious metal onto the activated carbon and form loaded activated carbon. The process further includes recovering the precious metal from the loaded activated carbon.
