Description

[0001] The invention is based on an electrical installation with an arrangement for the touch-safe contacting of several busbars. The arrangement comprises a touch-protection housing made of electrically insulating material in which the busbars are accommodated in a touch-safe manner. The touch-protection housing has a receptacle for the base containing the busbars, as well as a cover that closes the receptacles and is detachably connectable to the base, with a flat mounting side for busbar adapters. The arrangement further comprises at least one single-pole or multi-pole busbar adapter for electrically contacting at least one of the busbars, which can be mounted on the flat mounting side and for this purpose, on the one hand, with at least one contact element for electrically contacting one of the busbars and, on the other hand, with retaining feet engaging behind the busbars, passes through the cover via through-slots, wherein the base has at least one tunnel extending between opposite longitudinal sides of the contact protection housing. Such an arrangement is known from EP 3446381 B1. Similar arrangements are also described in EP 3766146 B1, EP 3954007 B1, and EP 3954006 A1.

[0002] The known arrangements have the disadvantage that they are not prepared for efficient cable routing. In particular, signal cables, which must be routed separately from strong electromagnetic fields such as those caused by high electrical currents to avoid interference, must be routed in these known arrangements, possibly requiring detours in the cable routing.

[0003] It is therefore the object of the invention to further develop an electrical installation of the type mentioned at the outset in such a way that it is prepared for efficient cable routing.

[0004] This object is achieved by an electrical installation having the features of claim 1. Advantageous embodiments are specified in the independent claims.

[0005] Accordingly, it is provided that at least one electrical conductor and / or at least one signal line is guided through the tunnel between the opposite long sides of the contact protection housing. In an application where an electrical conductor or a signal line has to be laid transversely to the contact protection housing, in particular transversely to the direction of extension of the busbars accommodated in the contact protection housing, the invention allows the electrical conductor or the signal line to be laid through the tunnel. This eliminates the need to guide the electrical conductor or the signal line transversely along the mounting side. On the mounting side, the electrical conductor or the signal line could collide with electrical components mounted on the mounting side.be affected by electromagnetic interference fields which may prevail on the mounting side due to the current busbars running directly behind the cover provided with openings.

[0006] The tunnel can extend essentially perpendicular to the direction of extension of the busbars. It can also extend at an acute angle to the direction of extension of the busbars. To facilitate cable routing through the tunnel, the tunnel should preferably have a substantially straight path. In many applications, the contact protection housing has a significantly larger dimension in the longitudinal direction of the busbars than perpendicular to the direction of extension of the busbars.

[0007] The tunnel may be widened on at least one of the two opposite longitudinal sides. The tunnel may taper in its direction of extension with increasing distance from the first longitudinal side.

[0008] The tunnel is preferably symmetrical. For this purpose, the tunnel can be widened on both opposite longitudinal sides and taper with increasing distance from the respective longitudinal side. Preferably, the tunnel has an identical widening on both opposite longitudinal sides. For example, the tunnel can have a funnel-shaped widening.

[0009] The tunnel can be open on a fastening side of the contact protection housing opposite the mounting side for attaching the contact protection housing to a base, such as a mounting plate. Otherwise, the tunnel can be closed and uninterrupted, preferably over its entire length.

[0010] The tunnel can, for example, be formed as a recess extending from the fastening side. The recess is preferably closed with respect to the receptacles for the busbars. The base, in which both the receptacles for the busbars and the recess can be formed, can be designed as a single piece, for example as a molded plastic part. For reliable shielding between the tunnel or the recess and the receptacles for the busbars, a continuous and preferably uninterrupted material wall can be formed between the tunnel or the recess and the receptacles. For example, the material wall can be a tunnel wall delimiting the tunnel. The tunnel can, in particular, be designed to have no passage to the receptacles.

[0011] The tunnel can be designed as a flat channel, preferably with an extension of the channel in the direction of extension of the busbars that is greater, preferably at least twice as large, as an extension of the channel perpendicular to the mounting side.

[0012] The tunnel may have electromagnetic shielding. The shielding may be provided by the material from which a tunnel wall of the tunnel is formed. The material may be the same material, i.e., the electrically non-conductive material, from which the touch protection housing and / or at least the base of the touch protection housing is formed. Providing the shielding therefore does not necessarily require an additional component. Alternatively, the shielding may be a coating of the tunnel wall, for example, a metallic coating, or an inlay, for example, a metallic inlay, provided by the tunnel wall.

[0013] The tunnel can be free of interfering contours along its extension direction, with at least one tunnel wall bounding the tunnel preferably being uninterrupted, continuous, and / or smooth. The tunnel wall preferably has neither projections nor depressions nor holes.

[0014] An electrical installation is provided with at least one arrangement for the touch-safe contacting of busbars of the type described above. At least one electrical conductor and / or at least one signal line is routed through the tunnel between the opposite long sides of the touch protection housing. In order for the electrical conductor and / or the signal line to be routed transversely to the touch protection housing, it is no longer necessary for the electrical conductor and / or the signal line to be routed over the touch protection housing, i.e. along the mounting side. Laying cables along the mounting side is particularly undesirable because electrical components are installed on the mounting side with which the cables could collide. On the other hand, the mounting side has through-slots through which the busbars carrying high electrical currents are exposed and thus produce electromagnetic interference fields that can impair the electrical lines.

[0015] The tunnel can be open on a fastening side of the touch protection housing opposite the mounting side. The touch protection housing can be attached to a base, preferably a mounting plate, via the fastening side, so that the tunnel is closed by the base on the fastening side. When mounted on the base, the tunnel is thus only open at its opposite ends, i.e., on the parallel long sides of the touch protection housing.

[0016] At least two electrical components can be connected to one another via an electrical conductor and / or a signal line. The electrical conductor and / or the signal line can be routed through the tunnel. The electrical conductor and / or the signal line can be, for example, a copper wire having electrical insulation. The electrical conductor can have a wire end treatment, for example a cable lug, on at least one of its ends. The electrical component can be an active or a passive electrical component. An active electrical component can be, for example, an electric motor. A passive electrical component can be, for example, a conductor connection terminal.

[0017] At least one of the two electrical components connected to each other via an electrical conductor and / or a signal line can be mounted via a busbar adapter on the mounting side of the touch protection housing with the tunnel. However, the interconnected electrical components can also be mounted independently of the touch protection housing. It is also conceivable for both electrical components connected to each other via the electrical conductor and / or the signal line to be mounted on the mounting side of the touch protection housing.

[0018] At least one of the two electrical components connected to each other via an electrical conductor and / or a signal line can be mounted independently of the contact protection housing, preferably on a mounting plate on which the contact protection housing is also mounted.

[0019] Several contact protection housings can be arranged with their longitudinal sides parallel and spaced apart from one another. At least one electrical conductor or signal line can be introduced from an electrical component mounted on the mounting side of a first contact protection housing into a space between the first and another contact protection housing, and from there into the tunnel of the other contact protection housing.

[0020] The busbar adapter can penetrate the cover with support feet that engage behind the busbars. To provide the mounting surface, the cover can be a flat cover plate with a number of rows of regularly spaced through-slots corresponding to the number of busbars to be contacted. The support feet can be designed as blades, with which they penetrate through the through-slots in the cover.

[0021] To contact a multi-pole busbar system, the busbar adapter can be placed on the mounting side and thus on the contact protection housing. The retaining feet of the busbar adapter pass through the through slots in the cover and each engage behind one of the busbars. For each of the busbars to be contacted, the busbar adapter can have an associated contact element, which can also pass through the through slots in the cover and contact a respective busbar.

[0022] The adapter housing can have an adapter receptacle for mounting an electrical component on the adapter housing. The adapter receptacle can be configured to form a detachable or non-detachable force-locking connection between itself and an electrical component to be contacted. This can be a screw or snap-in connection, for example. The adapter receptacle can also be configured for electronic contact between the electrical component and the at least one contact element. This can be provided by electrical contacts in the adapter receptacle.

[0023] If the contact protection housing is aligned with its mounting side vertically and the busbars are arranged horizontally one above the other, it is possible for the busbar adapter to be hooked or suspended onto the horizontally running busbars via its retaining feet.

[0024] The retaining feet can essentially have an L-shape, with a plug-in section extending perpendicular to a mounting side of the adapter housing, with which they pass through the mounting side, and with a section angled thereto at the free end of the respective retaining foot facing away from the busbar adapter, with which they engage behind the busbars.

[0025] The adapter housing does not necessarily have to rest on the mounting side. To achieve good contact between the contact element and the busbar, the retaining feet and the contact elements can engage on opposite sides of a busbar. The contact element and / or the retaining foot can be configured to be adjusted toward the other of the two. The adjustment can be achieved by spring preloading one of the components or by thread adjustment. This can result in a gap forming between the adapter housing and the mounting side.

[0026] To enable the busbar adapters to be mounted on the contact protection housing in a manner that is as location-variable as possible, the cover can have a mounting side that forms a flat mounting plane extending over the entire base for multi-pole busbar adapters. The cover can be designed as a single piece or in multiple pieces. If it is designed in multiple pieces, it can be prepared for series connection, so that when several covers or partial covers are arranged in a row, a mounting side with a flat support plane extending over the entire cover is again obtained. Such arrangements, for which the flat mounting plane extending over the entire base for multi-pole busbar adapters is characteristic, are known from EP 3446381 B1, EP 3766146 B1, EP 3954007 B1 and EP 3954006 A1.

[0027] The base of the contact protection housing can be made up of several parts. For example, the base can have several, preferably identical, sub-elements that are designed to be arranged in series. In particular, the base can have at least one sub-element to which the cover is detachably connected and in which the receptacles for busbars are designed as recesses that are open in the direction perpendicular to the mounting side and permeable in the longitudinal direction of the busbar. When the cover is connected to the at least one sub-element, the recesses can be closed by the cover in the direction perpendicular to the mounting side. The cover can be connected to the base or sub-elements via a hinge connection or a snap-in connection. In addition, the cover can be screwed to the base or sub-elements. The cover can therefore be designed, for example, to be completely detached from the base or sub-elements.to be removed or swung away from the sub-elements, whereby the cover remains connected to the base or sub-elements via a hinge axis.

[0028] The touch protection housing, or at least the cover, can be made of an electrical insulator with the dielectric strength required for typical applications. The touch protection housing or its components, in particular the base and the cover, can be injection-molded parts. The electrical insulator, for example a plastic material, can also provide sufficient shielding to prevent or at least largely suppress any interference with electrical conductors or signal lines routed through the tunnel caused by an electromagnetic field generated by the busbars.

[0029] Busbar thickness compensation elements can be accommodated in the recesses. This makes it possible to adapt the contact protection housing for use with different busbar cross-section geometries as needed. The busbar thickness compensation elements can be secured in the respective receptacle in the longitudinal direction of the busbar via a tongue and groove connection extending perpendicular to the mounting side.

[0030] The cover can be a flat cover plate with a number of rows of regularly spaced through-slots for the support feet and contact elements, corresponding to the number of busbars to be contacted. For this purpose, the cover can have a plurality of perforated sections for the passage of the support foot and contact element, as well as a plurality of solid sections, with a solid section being formed between each two adjacent perforated sections, and the perforated sections having a plurality of through-slots spaced apart from one another by parallel separating webs. The separating webs can each open into one of the solid sections at their opposite ends.

[0031] The solid and perforated sections can each extend over the entire dimension of the cover in the longitudinal direction of the busbars, so that several covers can be arranged in a row in the longitudinal direction while maintaining an uninterrupted grid with a fixed grid spacing of the separating webs.

[0032] The retaining feet can be designed as hook-shaped blades, which penetrate the through-slots in the cover. These can be designed to be significantly narrower in the longitudinal direction of the busbars to be contacted than in a direction perpendicular to them and to the mounting plane. This ensures that the through-slots in the cover can be kept correspondingly narrow, and the grid dimension of the through-slots can also be kept correspondingly small. This allows for particularly high variability for mounting the busbar adapter on the mounting side.

[0033] Further details of the invention are explained with reference to the following figures. Fig. 1 shows a perspective view of a contact protection module arrangement according to the prior art; Fig. 2 a rear view of an embodiment of a contact protection arrangement according to the invention; Fig. 3 a side view of an embodiment of a contact protection arrangement according to the invention; Fig. 4 a perspective view of an embodiment of a contact protection arrangement according to the invention; and Fig. 5 a schematic representation of an embodiment of an electrical installation according to the invention.

[0034] The Fig. The prior art arrangement 1 shown in Figure 1 for the touch-safe contacting of a busbar system comprises a touch-protection housing 4 with a three-pole busbar adapter 7 mounted thereon. For illustrative purposes, three busbars 2 are also shown accommodated in the touch-protection housing 4. The busbars 2 extend parallel and at a distance from one another in their longitudinal direction L through the touch-protection housing 4. The longitudinal direction L of the busbars 2 also corresponds to the longitudinal direction of the touch-protection housing 4.

[0035] The contact protection housing 4 essentially consists of a base 5 and a cover 6, between which the busbars 2 are accommodated, with the cover 6 being detachably connected to the base 5. These components are designed here as injection-molded parts made of an electrical insulating material with suitable dielectric strength.

[0036] The cover 6 forms a flat mounting side 9, via which an adapter housing 8 of the busbar adapter 7 can be variably placed on the contact protection housing 4 in the longitudinal direction L. The cover 6 comprises separating webs 23, which separate adjacent through-slots 14 from one another in the longitudinal direction L. The separating webs 23 can be thin, since they do not absorb any loads, so that a fine grid and thus a highly variable arrangement of the busbar adapter 7 on the mounting side 9 can be achieved. For contacting each busbar 2, a row of parallel through-slots 14 extending in the longitudinal direction L is provided. The clear opening of the through-slots 14 only partially overlaps with the respectively assigned busbars 100.This is achieved in that the collecting rail adapter 7 can first be placed on the cover 6 along an upper stop of the through slots 14 by means of L-shaped holding feet, where it dips through the cover 6 with the holding feet 9, in order to arrange the free ends of the holding feet of the collecting rail adapter 7 in a vertical sliding movement of the collecting rail adapter 7 following thereon perpendicular to the longitudinal direction L and parallel to the mounting side 9 with respect to the respective current collecting rail 2 such that the current collecting rail 2 is engaged by the free end of the respective holding foot.

[0037] This arrangement 1 thus enables a flexible arrangement of the busbar adapter 7 and thus of the electrical components arranged on the busbar adapter 7, but does not allow for efficient cable routing. This is because the arrangement 1 is not designed to allow cables to be routed through it. Since such arrangements are arranged on a support, cable routing can only occur around the arrangement 1 or across the mounting side 9. In particular, signal lines, which must be routed separately from strong electromagnetic fields such as those caused by high electrical currents in order to avoid interference, must be laid in arrangement 1, possibly at the expense of detours in the cable routing.

[0038] To solve this problem, the invention proposes a Fig. 2, which differs from the arrangements known from the prior art in that the base 5 has at least one tunnel 11 for the cable feedthrough, which tunnel 11 is surrounded by a tunnel wall 10 and extends between opposite longitudinal sides 12, 13 of the contact protection housing 4. The invention thus makes it possible for cables to be routed under or through the arrangement 1 even after the arrangement 1 has been arranged on a support. In the event that an electrical conductor or a signal line has to be laid transversely to the contact protection housing 4, in particular transversely to the direction of extension L of the busbars 2 accommodated in the contact protection housing 4, the electrical conductor or the signal line can now be laid through the tunnel 11. This eliminates the need to route the electrical conductor or the signal line transversely along the mounting side 9.On the mounting side 9, the electrical conductor or the signal line could collide with electrical components mounted on the mounting side 9 or be affected by electromagnetic interference fields that may prevail on the mounting side 9 due to the current collecting bars 2 running directly behind the cover 6 provided with openings 14. This allows the arrangement shown in . Fig. 2, to simplify cable routing and / or to avoid or at least reduce interference with the laid cables.

[0039] The Fig. The arrangement 1 shown in Figure 2 has a modular touch protection housing 4, which allows any desired extension of the arrangement 1. An end cap 25 is provided at the end, which covers the free ends of the busbars 2 in a touch-safe manner.

[0040] Here, the contact protection housing 4 comprises five modules, each with a tunnel 11. By providing multiple tunnels 11, the required cable route can be further reduced.

[0041] The tunnels 11 extend essentially perpendicular to an extension direction L of the busbars 2. The tunnels 11 are further designed such that they are widened on both of the opposite longitudinal sides 12, 13 and taper in their extension direction y with increasing distance from the respective longitudinal side 12, 13. This makes it easier to insert a cable into the tunnel 11 and, at the same time, keeps the space requirement of the tunnel 11 to a minimum. In alternative embodiments, it can be provided that one or more tunnels 11 are widened only on a first of the two opposite longitudinal sides 12, 13 and taper in its extension direction y with increasing distance from the first longitudinal side 12, 13.

[0042] As in the Fig. In the side view of an arrangement 1 shown in Figure 3, the tunnel 11 can be open on a fastening side 15 of the contact protection housing 4, which is arranged opposite the mounting side 9, for fastening the contact protection housing 4 to a base, preferably a mounting plate. This can simplify production of the tunnel 11, since no separate cover is required. In alternative embodiments, however, it can be provided to provide a separate cover for the tunnel 11. Such a cover can be designed as a single piece with the tunnel wall 10 or as a single part that can be connected to the contact protection housing 4, in particular without tools.

[0043] The tunnels 11 are otherwise designed to be closed and uninterrupted over their entire length, except for the opening on the fastening side 5. In particular, the tunnel 11 can be free of interfering contours in its extension direction y. Here, at least the tunnel wall 10 delimiting the tunnels 11 is designed to be uninterrupted, continuous, and smooth.

[0044] The tunnels 11 can also be designed as a flat channel. In the embodiment according to Fig. 3 they have an extension x 1 of the flat channel in the direction of extension L of the busbars 2, which is larger, here essentially twice as large, as an extension x 2 of the flat duct is perpendicular to the mounting side 9. This provides sufficient space to accommodate the busbars 2 as well as to pass cables through the tunnels 11.

[0045] Fig. Figure 4 shows the arrangement 1 in a perspective view. For clarity, only two busbars 2 are shown, whereas a middle, third one has been omitted. This shows, on the one hand, the recessed receptacles for the busbars 2 in the base 5. It also becomes clear that the tunnel 11 is designed to be seamless to the receptacles 3 and the busbars 2. This allows for reliable shielding, so that interference with signals in cables routed in the tunnel 11 by the busbars 2, e.g., due to electromagnetic interference fields, can be avoided or at least reduced.

[0046] To further improve shielding, one or more tunnels 11 may have electromagnetic shielding. The electromagnetic shielding may be provided in sections or across the entire tunnel 11. The electromagnetic shielding may be achieved by coating the tunnel 11. Alternatively or additionally, the tunnel wall 10 may comprise a material that provides electromagnetic shielding.

[0047] Fig. Figure 5 shows an electrical installation 100 with three arrangements 1 according to the invention for the touch-safe contacting of busbars 2. For this purpose, three touch-protection housings 4 are arranged with their longitudinal sides parallel and spaced apart from one another on a base 16 designed as a mounting plate. Furthermore, the electrical installation comprises four electrotechnical components 18, 19, 20, 21.

[0048] The electrical component 18 is mounted independently of the contact protection housings 4 on the mounting plate 16, on which the contact protection housings 4 are also mounted. The electrical component 20 is arranged directly on the middle contact protection housing 4. The outer contact protection housings 4 each have a busbar adapter 7, via which the electrical components 19, 21 are mounted on the mounting side 9 of the respective contact protection housing 4.

[0049] In addition, all contact protection housings 4 have a tunnel 11. A signal line 22 is provided here, via which the electrical components 18, 19, 20, 21 are connected. For example, it can be provided that the electrical component 18 is a monitoring unit that receives signals from the electrical components 19, 20, 21 via the signal line 22, which signals the electrical component 18 can use to monitor the status of the electrical components 19, 20, 21.

[0050] The signal line 22 is routed from the electrical component 19 mounted with the busbar adapter 7 on the mounting side 9 of the left contact protection housing 4 through the tunnel 11 of the left contact protection housing 4 into a gap 17 between the left contact protection housing 4 and the middle contact protection housing 17. Furthermore, the signal line 22 is introduced from the gap 17 into the tunnel 11 of the middle contact protection housing 4. From there, the signal line 22 is routed into the gap 17 between the middle contact protection housing 4 and the right contact protection housing 4, finally ending at the electrical component 18.

[0051] The signal line 22 also includes branches to the electrical components 20, 21. Thus, a section of the signal line 22 leads from the electrical component 20 to the intermediate space 17 between the left contact protection housing 4 and the middle contact protection housing 4. Another section of the signal line 22 leads from the electrical component 21 through the tunnel 11 of the right contact protection housing 4 to the intermediate space 17 between the right contact protection housing 4 and the middle contact protection housing 4. In the intermediate spaces 17, the sections are connected to the remaining signal line 22.

[0052] In other exemplary embodiments, it may be provided that only some of the electrical components 18, 19, 20, 21 are connected to one another via the signal line 22. Alternatively, it may also be provided that further electrical components are provided, which are also connected to the electrical components 18, 19, 20, 21 or other electrical components via the signal line 22 or another signal line. Furthermore, alternatively or additionally, more than one signal line 22 and / or one electrical conductor, via which one or more electrical components are electrically connected, may be provided.

[0053] At least one of the tunnels 11 can be open on a fastening side 15 of the corresponding contact protection housing 4 arranged opposite the mounting side 9, wherein the contact protection housing 4 is fastened to the mounting plate 16 via the fastening side 15, so that the tunnel 11 is closed by the mounting plate 16 on the fastening side 15.
