Abstract

Fastening element for attaching alarm components to a vehicle steering wheel or similar mobile objects, characterized in that - an inwardly curved basic structure (number 1 of the drawing) made of plastic is provided - wherein a non-slip foam pad (item 2 of the drawing) is attached to the inside of the basic structure and - screw holes for connecting the holder to the alarm component are provided on the outside of the base structure (item 3 of the drawing) and - which has a central recess (item 4 of the drawing) for the insertion of a Velcro strap / cable tie, which in turn enables the variable connection of the holder to vehicle steering wheels or other mobile objects.

Description

Technical Field to which the Invention Belongs:The invention belongs to the technical field of alarm protection of vehicles and other mobile objectsPrior Art:It is not known to the applicant that such a variable mount exists. If an opening sensor, such as the AJAX Superior Door Protect Plus Jetter (hereinafter referred to briefly as "DoorProtect"), is to be used, for example, for vehicle protection, namely by being connected to the steering wheel, a holder is required which enables the functionality of the DoorProtect in this field of application.Technical Problem Underlying the Invention:Core Question:How can the DoorPro be attached to the steering wheel or the like? Background:Alarm systems serve primarily for protecting buildings and persons. For example, there is a series of products AJAX Jewerner / Superior developed for the trade. This row of products contains intelligent sensors which can detect, among other things, door openings, vibrations and changes in inclination (DoorProt). This sensor is typically used to protect windows and doors, but also showcases containing sensitive items. In trades, however, there is an urgent need to secure vehicles with the DoorPro as well. Due to its technical properties, the DoorProt is suitable for this purpose. However, there is no bracket that allows secure use of the DoorProt in vehicles and other mobile objects. Such a holder is the subject of this application. The applicant's counterpart mounting (invention) offers a possibility for attaching the DoorProtect, in particular to vehicle steering wheels, without damaging the latter. This allows vehicles and other mobile objects, e.g. e-bikes, to be secured using the DoorPro connected to an alarm center.Exemplary Embodiment:A customer (e.g. car house) would like to protect his vehicles primarily against unauthorized removal of the vehicle from a parking space within a predefined radius, given the increasing intrusion delta in the automobile sector. In addition, he also wishes to protect the vehicle against unauthorized intrusion and removal of vehicle components, such as vehicle tires.Solution Using the Applicant's Holder (Invention):A skilled creator binds a DoorProt to an alarm center; further, it provides the counterpart holder to the customer. The holder is firmly screwed to the DoorProtect by the expert's setter. The holder provides two specific bore holes for this purpose. The holder can then be fastened to the vehicle steering wheel or other objects to be protected from alarms by means of a preinstalled hook and loop cable tie. The alarm protection can develop its effect if the holder together with the preset door protection is fitted in the proper way, the vehicle / sensor is located in the reception range of the alarm center and the latter is switched in the active state. If the DoorPro then detects an inclination (e.g. by steering wheel movement) or a shock (e.g. by the vehicle being locked up or the vehicle interior parts being destroyed / rejected by a suspect probability), the alerting chain previously set by the expert setter is triggered (depending on the equipment of the alarm system, e.g. outside siren / control station connection / customer information / video scenario).Specifics of the Application-Related Holder / Invention:The holder can be screwed to the bracket of the DoorProt with the screws supplied at the factory at the DoorProt (see drawing no. 3). Manipulation of the sensor is thereby made more difficult or detected more quickly. The holder contains a recess through which a hook-and-loop tape / hook-and-loop cable tie can be pulled (see drawing no. 4). The hook-and-loop tape serves for connecting the holder to the steering wheel. The release of the hook-and-loop connection from the steering wheel when the system is switched on can thus be recognized by the DoorPro as a vibration / inclination and trigger the alarm chain. At the same time, a foam material is attached to the basic structure / the main body of the holder, which foam material protects the steering wheel from damage / scratches during the attachment of the sensor system (see drawing no. 2).The main body contains an inside curvature so that it fits seamlessly against steering wheels customary in use (see drawing no. 5)In summary, the invention thus offers the following advantages:◯ opens up extended possibilities for using the DoorPro-in particular in the field of protecting vehicles fast and secure assembly / disassembly universal fit for various steering wheel diameters and other objects scratch-free attachmentLegend of the DrawingNo. 1 Basic Construction / Main BodyNo. 2 Foam paddingNo. 3 Screw holes on the base structureNo. 4 Aperture for attaching a hook and loop tape / cable tieNo. 5 Curvature on main body

Claims

Fastening element for attaching alarm components to a vehicle steering wheel or similar mobile objects, characterized in that - an inwardly curved base structure (number 1 of the drawing) made of plastic is provided - wherein a non-slip foam cushion (Ziff is provided on the inner side of the base structure. In the embodiment shown in FIG. 2 of the drawing), screw holes are provided on the outside of the basic construction for connecting the holder to the alarm component (intermediate. 3 of the drawing) and which has a central recess (notch 4 of the drawing) for the passage of a hook-and-loop tape / hook-and-loop cable tie, which in turn enables the variable connection of the holder to vehicle steering wheels or other mobile objects.Fastening element according to Claim 1, characterized in that - this is compatible with the AJAX Superior DoorPro Plus Jeweller.Fastening element according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that - the basic construction is at least 1 cm and at most 1.6 cm thick, - the holder is variable and can be mounted otherwise when not in use, and - can be fastened at an extended angle to the outer side of a steering wheel by the trough-like depression of the holder.Fastening element according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that - the holder is designed to be mobile / replaceable - the quick-action fastener is designed as a variable hook-and-loop tape / hook-and-loop cable tie.
