Abstract
Description
Technical area
[0001] The invention relates to the field of medical technology, in particular to wearable systems for recording electrical brain activity (EEG). It lies at the intersection of wearables, biosignal recording, and textile-integrated sensor technology. State of the art
[0002] Conventional EEG systems are either wired, difficult to install, or lack flexibility in their application. Especially for mobile or everyday applications, there is a lack of modular, textile-integrated solutions that are both flexible and technically reliable. Object of the invention
[0003] The aim of the invention is to provide an EEG recording system that - comfortable to wear, - modular design, - can be used flexibly and is suitable for different applications in research, everyday life or medicine. Solution
[0004] This task is solved by an EEG cap with the following features: - Textile base structure with integrated positions for electrodes - Modular sensor module that is mounted centrally - Replaceable electrodes that are electrically connected via push-button or magnetic contacts - Central sensor module with: - Amplifiers (e.g. operational amplifiers) - Analog-to-digital converter (ADC) - Bluetooth module for wireless data transmission - Power supply via integrated lithium polymer cell (LiPo) Advantages of the invention - High wearing comfort through textile integration - Modular design allows for repair, cleaning, adjustment - Wireless data transmission simplifies mobile applications - Easy handling with push button or magnetic contacts - Expandability through various module variants (e.g. additional sensors)
Claims
