Abstract
Description
Field of the invention
[0001] The invention relates to a cutting set for a hair clipper with a dust groove. State of the art
[0002] With cutting sets for hair clippers, it's easy for hair and hair particles to become dirty and clogged with the drive mechanism of the cutting blades, making them harder to operate and requiring relatively quick cleaning. To overcome this drawback, there are cutting sets that feature a straight recess on the stationary cutting blade behind the cutting comb, a so-called dust groove. This is designed to ensure that the cut hair and hair particles can fall out of the cutting set during the cutting process. However, the hair and hair particles also get caught in the dust groove itself, meaning that contamination from the hair and hair particles still occurs relatively quickly. Description of the invention
[0003] The object of the invention is to provide a cutting set that is more resistant to contamination by hair and hair particles. This object is achieved by a cutting set according to claim 1. Further features that further develop the invention are contained in the subclaims.
[0004] A cutting set for a hair clipper according to the invention comprises a first stationary cutting blade with a comb, a second cutting blade with a comb that can be moved back and forth in a lateral direction relative to the stationary cutting blade, and a connecting device that presses the second cutting blade against the first cutting blade. A dust groove is provided behind the comb of the stationary cutting blade, which runs across the entire width of the stationary cutting blade to both lateral ends. The dust groove increases in height toward at least one lateral end. The dust groove extends to both ends of the cutting blade so that hair and hair particles can fall laterally out of the cutting set. As the dust groove increases, this means that the groove becomes deeper, i.e., the distance between the groove bottom and the groove top edge increases. The sloping bottom of the groove allows hair and hair particles to slide out of the groove more easily.
[0005] Preferably, the dust groove grows toward both lateral ends. This reduces the distance that hair and hair particles have to travel before falling out. The dust groove is designed symmetrically, so that the highest point of the bottom is located in the center of the stationary cutting blade.
[0006] Furthermore, at least one side wall of the dust groove can be beveled, in particular both side walls. This guides hair and hair particles more effectively into the dust groove.
[0007] A cutting set is preferred in which the dust groove grows gradually and / or in which the dust groove grows continuously. Stepwise growth can occur, for example, in steps that are between 1 mm and 10 mm long, preferably at least 1 mm, 2 mm, 3 mm, 4 mm or 5 mm and a maximum of 10 mm, 9 mm, 8 mm, 7 mm or 6 mm. A continuous incline of the groove base enables hair and hair particles to be removed more effectively. The step-like design, on the other hand, can prevent hair and hair particles from slipping in the wrong direction in the groove, as they would then get caught on the steps. In a particularly preferred variant, the groove between the steps is also inclined, thereby combining the advantages of the inclined and stepped groove.
[0008] Preferably, the width of the dust groove increases at least at the top edge toward at least one lateral end. This means that the distance between the front edge (facing the comb) and the rear edge increases. This improves the groove's capacity to absorb dust. Short description of the characters
[0009] Fig. 1a and 1b show isometric views of a cutting set according to the invention; Fig. 2a and 2b show plan views of a stationary cutting knife with a dust groove according to the invention; Fig. 3a and 3b show side views of a stationary cutting blade with a dust groove according to the invention; and Fig. 4a and 4b show isometric views of a stationary cutting knife with a dust groove according to the invention. Description of the preferred embodiments
[0010] The Figures 1a and 1bshow an isometric view of a cutting set 10 according to the invention. The cutting set 10 comprises a stationary cutting blade 20 and a cutting blade 12 that can be moved relative to the stationary cutting blade 20. The two cutting blades 12, 20 are connected, for example, to a mechanical device that presses the two cutting blades 12, 20 against each other (here with a spring). Furthermore, a motion transmission device 14 is provided on the movable cutting blade 12, with which a drive in a hair clipper can transmit the movement to the movable cutting blade 12. Here, this motion transmission device 14 is designed as a lever that can absorb a movement generated by an electric motor and then converted into a translational movement, so that the movable cutting blade 12 is moved back and forth relative to the stationary cutting blade 20. The stationary cutting blade 20 moves towards the main body or the hair clipper when the hair clipper is in use.the drive of the hair clipper is not relative and is therefore "stationary".
[0011] The cutting blades 12, 20 each have a comb 16, 22 comprising a plurality of teeth 24. During cutting, the hair passes between the teeth 24 of the two cutting blades 12, 20 and is cut off by the relative movement between the cutting blades.
[0012] In the Figures 2a and 2b the stationary cutting knife 20 is shown in a plan view. Figure 2a shows a dust groove 28 with an inclined bottom, Figure 2bone with a stepped bottom. In the top view, a dust groove 28 can be seen. This extends behind the comb 22 across the entire width of the stationary cutting blade 20, so that the hair and hair particles located in the dust groove 28 can fall out of the stationary cutting blade 20 laterally, especially when they are pushed by following hair and hair particles. The dust groove 28 has two lateral walls 29, 30, which can be designed in an inclined manner. This inclination of the walls is shown in the isometric view in Figure 3 easy to see and makes it easier to pick up hair and hair particles. For this purpose, it is sufficient if only one wall is inclined. Figures 3a and 3b show the stationary cutting blade 20 in a side view.
[0013] At least one of the walls 29, 30 of the dust groove 28 is preferably curved, so that the distance between the edges of the walls 29, 30 increases toward the sides of the stationary cutting blade 20. Here, the edge of the side wall 30 facing the comb is straight, while the edge 31 of the wall 29 facing away from the comb is curved. This increases the width of the groove on the side, so that hair and hair particles moving toward the edge can fall out of the groove more easily. However, both side walls 29, 30 can also be curved. Preferably, the bottom 32 of the groove 28 can also widen toward the edge. Furthermore, the dust groove 20 and the groove bottom 32 can also be curved, in particular away from the comb 22, so that the ends of the dust groove 20 are further away from the comb 22 than the center of the dust groove 20.The dust groove is preferably between 3mm and 10mm wide at the bottom, while it can preferably be between 3mm and 15mm wide at the top edges of the groove.
[0014] In the Figures 4a and 4b The different designs of the dust groove 20 are shown in an isometric view. In Figure 4a An inclined dust groove 20 without steps is shown. The inclination of the groove bottom 32 can be provided over the entire dust groove 20 or only over a part of the groove bottom. In Figure 4a There is a flat section 36, which is located in the center. From there, the groove bottom 32 in Figure 5 is then formed sloping. In Figure 4b A stepped dust groove is shown. The individual steps 34 are preferably at least 0.05 mm, 0.1 mm, 0.2 mm, 0.5 mm, 1 mm, or 1.5 mm high, and preferably at most 2 mm. Furthermore, the individual steps are preferably between 2 mm and 8 mm long. The steps themselves are preferably also inclined.
[0015] The groove base 32 preferably has a radius at the transition to one or both side walls 29, 30, so that the transition between the groove base 32 and the side walls 29, 30 is rounded. This prevents hair and hair particles from getting caught in the edges of the groove base and allows them to be more easily removed. The radius is preferably between 0.1 mm and 3 mm.
