Vacuum cleaner

Abstract

A vacuum cleaner comprising: a suction motor; a dirt separator with a filter with pleats and an agitator; a bin 174 enclosing primary and secondary separators with an open end and a door 128 on another end; where the door can pivot to be perpendicular to the pleats or parallel to the pleats. Ideally the vacuum cleaner is hand held with a pistol grip inclined at 10-20 degrees from the separator axis; the filter is pleated paper surrounding a U shaped interior; the filter is the same length as the primary separator; there is a agitator moving in a closed path around the filter to dislodge dirt and regenerate it when the suction motor is off; the filter is cantilevered, only supported at one end; there is a looming conduit between the separators to contain wiring.
