Abstract

This utility model relates to agriculture, specifically to methods for propagating berry crops, and can be used for accelerated propagation of thornless blackberries by apical layering using the panicle method. The proposed innovation propagates thornless blackberries by apical layering using a special method in bunches (several plants) with an innovative pinching and rooting technology, which allows for double the number of seedlings to be obtained from a single bunch. The first seedlings are planted in the fall, followed by a second planting of the same plants, and a second emergence of seedlings in the spring. This innovation will allow for accelerated production of planting material for promising blackberry varieties twice per season, with the first batch being used as planting material for establishing berry plantations in the fall.
