Description

[0001] A COMPENSATOR FOR FIREARMS INTENDED FOR EASY ASSEMBLY / DISASSEMBLY

[0002] Technical Field

[0003] The invention relates to a compensator with easy assembly and disassembly capability for firearms.

[0004] State of the Art

[0005] In standard firearms, when the trigger is pressed at the time of shooting, the core rubs against the groove-sets in the barrel at a certain rate and at the time of exit, the core is stuck in the barrel mouth, jumps out of the barrel with high pressure and advances to the target. While doing this, most of the gunpowder rations in the hive are wasted and the weapon recoils.

[0006] Compensators are used to reduce these rebound effects on the weapon.

[0007] A compensator can be defined as a firearm apparatus called a muzzle brake, barrel brake or compensator in Turkish.

[0008] The object of said apparatus is to reduce the effects of recoil and muzzle rise in the direction of the shooter after the bullet leaves the barrel in the firearm. For this purpose, the directions of the pressure vectors formed towards the weapon are directed to other angles with previously calculated geometries such as channels, holes, etc.

[0009] As described above, the compensators allow the gunpowder gas to go up and to the sides without leaving the barrel end. In this way, the gun is directed to the first target where the bullet is taken during the shooting, the heating of the barrel is delayed and the possibility of the enemy to see the direction of the enemy fire in the dark is reduced.

[0010] The main problem with the compensators known within the current art is that they cannot be easily disassembled. While the system is expected to be easily assembled / disassembled, on the other hand, the connection to the weapon is expected to be more durable.

[0011] In patent application US2010154278 (Al), a method of releasably attaching an adjacent balancing device to the muzzle end of a firearm is described.

[0012] From the description set of the application, it is understood that there is a connection means at the rear end of the balancer assembly. As understood from the description set, the barrel has a firing axis and comprises a threaded end opposite the barrel mouth end. It defines a recess formed adjacent to the end of the muzzle. The firearm itself has a frame that defines a threaded opening. The method aims to move the connection means to engage the recess; to tension the connection means in the recess in a direction substantially parallel to the firing axis; to place a mating tool on the barrel end; to rotate the barrel by means of the joining tool so that the threaded end of the barrel engages the threaded opening in a threaded manner.

[0013] It is understood from the description set that it is necessary to use a special fastening apparatus in order to connect the compensator subject to patent application No. US2010154278 (Al) to the weapon.

[0014] It is understood that patent application US10767952B1 describes a modular muzzle device adapter system with an adapter.

[0015] The adapter described in the application comprises an adapter body portion and an adapter projection portion, wherein the adapter comprises an adapter barrel opening formed to extend through the adapter; and a muzzle device, wherein the muzzle device comprises a muzzle device body portion and a muzzle device recess, wherein the muzzle device can be repeatedly fixed to and removed from the adapter by at least some interaction between the adapter protrusion portion and the adapter projection portion.

[0016] Problems Aimed to be Solved by the Invention

[0017] The object of the invention is to create a compensator structure that can be easily disassembled and assembled and can provide a strong connection with the weapon. The user first connects the lower parts such as the flexible element, tab, pin to the compensator, forms the compensator assembly and then connects the compensator to the barrel of the firearm.

[0018] The compensator of the invention prevents the recoil of the weapon at the time of firing in firearms. With the prevention of this recoil, the invention is aimed to prevent the user from being harmed, to allow him to shoot repeatedly and to increase the target hit rate.

[0019] It reduces the raking and rebound forces with the gas outlet from the spaces at the top of the barrel and the compensator.

[0042] Description of the Invention

[0043] The invention relates to a compensator (1) with at least one placement space (1.1) formed for the placement of the barrel (2) end of the firearm in its structure and equipped with compensator connection element(s) (1.2) intended to connect at least one part of the inner surface of said placement space (1.1) to the barrel connection element(s) (2.1) formed on the barrel (2).

[0044] In order for the compensator (1) to be connected to the barrel (2) by rotating on the axis of the barrel (2); at least one part of the inner surface of the placement space (1.1) is left empty without the compensator connection element (1.2) and at least one part of the outer surface of the end of the barrel (2) without the barrel connection element (2.1).

[0045] According to the preferred embodiment of the invention, thanks to the part of the inner surface of the placement space (1.1) without the compensator connection element (1.2) and the parts of the outer surface of the barrel (2) without the barrel connection element (2.1), the two parts (1, 2) can be connected to each other vertically.

[0046] Then, by rotating the compensator (1) on the axis of the barrel (2), the connection can be locked by overlapping the compensator connection element (1.2) and the barrel connection element (2.1).

[0047] Within the preferred embodiment of the invention, a locking element is used to prevent the compensator (1) from rotating again on the axis of the barrel (2).

[0048] The locking element is configured in the form of a tab (4) according to Figures 1-5.

[0049] According to Figure 1, the compensator connection elements (1.2) and the barrel connection elements (2.1) are formed in the form of protrusions (8) and the channels (9) formed in the form of recesses.

[0050] For this purpose, the end of the barrel (2) comprises a variety of protrusions (8) arranged in order to form at least one circumferential row. Each circumferential row is then followed by the channel (9).

[0051] According to Figure 1 showing the preferred embodiment of the invention, the end of the barrel (2) is equipped with the circumferential order of the protrusion (8) and a channel (9) is formed between them.

[0052] Within this application, the protrusions (8) and spaces forming the circumferential rows are structured identical.

[0053] Again, the compensator connection element (1.2) formed within the placement space (1.1) also comprises a variety of protrusions (8) arranged in order to form at least one circumferential row. Each circumferential row is then followed by the formed channel (9).

[0054] According to Figure 1 showing the preferred embodiment of the invention, the inner part of the placement space (1.1) is equipped with the circumferential order of the protrusion (8) and a channel (9) is formed between them.

[0055] Within this application, the protrusions (8) and spaces forming the circumferential rows are again structured identical.

[0056] Thanks to this embodiment, the barrel (2) and the compensator (1) are vertically connected by passing through the spaces, then by rotating the axis of the barrel (2) of the compensator (1), the protrusions (8) can be locked to the channels (9) and connected.

[0057] After this locking is provided, the connection can be fixed with the locking element.

[0058] According to Figure 1, the compensator connection element (1.1) and the barrel connection element (2.1) comprise a variety of circumferentially arranged rows of protrusions (8) and describe the embodiment consisting of the channel. Within this embodiment, channels (9) are formed by leaving the protrusions (8) forming the circumferential order empty between them.

[0059] After the compensator (1) is connected to the barrel (2) through vertically identical and regularly formed spaces, the connection is locked by rotating the compensator (1) on the axis of the barrel (2).

[0060] Again, in order to prevent the rotation of the compensator (1) after locking, the lock is completed by using locking elements such as tab (4).

[0061] The preferred embodiment of the locking element is in the form of a tab (4). At least one gripping protrusion (4.2) is formed on the side of the compensator (1) of the tab (4). This protrusion (4.2) sits on the locking slot (10) formed at the end of the barrel (2) and prevents the compensator (1) from rotating on the axis of the barrel (2).

[0062] According to the figures, the tab (4) is connected to the compensator (1) with at least one pin (3). In this way, the lock between the barrel (2) and the compensator (1) can be opened and closed by rotating the tab (4) on the axis of the pin (3).

[0063] The pin (3) is configured in the form of a helical pin according to the preferred embodiment of the invention.

[0064] There is at least one pin channel (5) on the body of the compensator (1) in order to connect the pin (3). According to Figure 1, the pin channel (5) is formed in the form of two opposite channels opening into the placement space (1.1).

[0065] The tab (4) operates in relation to at least one flexible element (6). It shows the preferred embodiment of the invention.

[0066] The flexible element (6) is configured in the form of a spring according to Figure 1.

[0067] Within this embodiment, the placement space (1.1) of the compensator (1) comprises at least one flexible element slot (1.3) for the placement of the flexible element (6). The spring is supported by the flexible element slot (1.3) at one end and contacts the tab (4) at one end. The spring is installed in the locking position with the pressure of the tab (4) and the spring is loosened by rotating the axis of the pin (3) of the locking tab (4).

[0068] According to Figure 1, the tab (4) is provided at one end with the placement protrusion (4.1) aimed at establishing a relationship with the inner space of the spring. In this way, the spring, and the placement protrusion (4.1) can be connected.

[0069] According to Figure 1, gas discharge spaces (7) are formed on both the barrel (2) and the compensator (1) in order to provide the function of the compensator (1). These spaces (7) formed on the barrel (2) and the compensator (1) are arranged to provide gas flow between them.

[0070] It reduces the raking and rebound forces with the gas outlet from these spaces (7) at the top of the barrel (2) and the compensator (1).

[0071] Figure 2 describes the situation in which the flexible element (6) is placed in the compensator (1). The compensator (1) is mounted before being attached to the barrel (2). For this purpose, the flexible element (6) is first placed in the flexible element slot (1.3).

[0072] Then, the tab (4) is placed in the discharged area at the front of the body of the compensator CD-

[0073] Then, as shown in Figure 3, the pin (3) is placed in the opening in the body of the compensator (1) and the spring, and the tab (4) are fixed.

[0074] The tab spring prevents the right-left movement that can occur after the compensator assembly is mounted to the barrel (2) with the force applied to the tab (4).

[0075] After the protrusions (8) on the inner surface of the compensator (1) are passed at a certain angle to the female channels (9) at the end of the barrel (2) and rotated around the axis of the barrel (2), the gripping protrusion (4.1) of the tab (4) is placed on the formed locking slot (10) on the front lower surface of the barrel (2) (Figure 4-5). More particularly, the barrel (2) and the compensator (1) can be connected as follows.

[0076] The protrusion and channels (8, 9) in the barrel and compensator are aligned at a certain angle to coincide with the flat inner surfaces in the barrel (2) and compensator (1).

[0077] The channels (9) in the barrel (2) are passed to the protrusions (8) in the compensator (1); the protrusions (8) are passed to the channels (9) in the compensator (2).

[0078] The compensator (1) is rotated around the axis of the barrel (2).

[0079] After the tab (4) is placed in the locking slot (10), which is the unloaded area in the barrel, the movement of the compensator (1) is prevented by the pressure made by the flexible element (6).

[0080] The locking of the compensator connection elements (1.2) and the barrel connection elements (2.1) on the inner surface of the placement space (1) prevents the back-and-forth movement of the compensator (1).

[0081] After the tab (4) is placed in the locking slot (10), which is the unloaded area in the barrel, the movement of the compensator (1) is prevented by the pressure made by the flexible element (6).

[0082] The locking of the compensator connection elements (1.2) and the barrel connection elements (2.1) on the inner surface of the placement space (1) prevents the back-and-forth movement of the compensator (1).
