Abstract

A winding machine (1) for a musical string (2) comprising two clamping devices (4, 5) for clamping and rotating a string core (7), comprising a first feeding device (11) for feeding a first winding element (13) to the string core (7) in a first feeding direction (15) during the winding process, which is wound around the core at a first winding point (17), comprising a second feeding device (50) for feeding a second winding element (51) to the string core (7) in a second feeding direction (52) during the winding process, which is wound around the core at a second winding point (53), wherein the two feeding devices (11, 50) are movable parallel to a clamping device rotation axis (6), wherein the two feeding devices (11, 50) are designed and interact such that at every point in time during the winding process the two winding points (1, 53) are formed adjacent to each other and together form a common winding point assembly (54) form,wherein a first angle (α) between the first feed direction and the second feed direction is between 90° and 270°.
