Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] Various embodiments generally relate to wrist pads. In particular, various embodiments generally relate to wrist pads with tactile feedback. Background Art
[0002] In recent years, gaming input devices with built-in haptic feedback, such as keyboards, mice, game controllers, joysticks, etc., have become increasingly popular among gamers because these devices enhance the gamer's experience of interacting with the gaming environment. With the success of built-in haptic feedback for gaming input devices, manufacturers are moving toward introducing built-in haptic feedback to other gaming accessories, such as wrist pads.
[0003] For example, U.S. Pat. No. 7,106,305 discloses a wrist pad that includes one or more actuators for providing tactile feedback to a user. However, in this U.S. Pat. No., the actuator is coupled to the housing of the wrist pad, and the actuator applies a force directly to the housing so that the force is transmitted as tactile feedback to the user in contact with the housing. As a result, the entire housing of the wrist pad will vibrate to generate the tactile feedback. Providing tactile feedback in a wrist pad in this primitive and crude manner may not be ideal because it may cause discomfort to the user or may even interfere with the user trying to control a gaming input device. In addition, if the entire wrist pad vibrates, the wrist pad may move along the surface of the table and, if left unattended, may fall off the table.
[0004] On the other hand, other common haptic feedback technologies involve directly moving a haptic element (which a user contacts) relative to a housing to transmit a haptic sensation via the haptic element, which may also not be suitable for a wrist pad because this requires moving the entire pad of the wrist pad directly relative to the housing of the wrist pad. Generating haptic feedback in a wrist pad in such a basic and primitive manner will cause the pad of the wrist pad to directly rub against the user's skin, which may cause discomfort and may interfere with the user trying to control the game input device. Therefore, directly applying such common haptic feedback technologies in a wrist pad is also not ideal.
[0005] Therefore, there is a need for a sophisticated and elegant solution for producing tactile feedback in a wrist pad that minimizes discomfort and / or disruption to the user's movements. Summary of the invention

[0029] Various embodiments are generally directed to a wrist pad. The wrist pad may be configured to generate tactile feedback in response to a signal from a processor. The processor may be a host computer running an application and sending the signal directly to the wrist pad. The processor may also be a local controller in the wrist pad that receives tactile feedback instructions from the host computer running the application. According to various embodiments, the wrist pad may be configured to provide comfort and support to the wrist of a user using an input device such as a keyboard, mouse, game controller, joystick, etc. According to various embodiments, the wrist pad may also be referred to as a wrist pad, wrist liner, wrist pad, or wrist support.
[0030] In various embodiments, tactile feedback in the wrist pad can be generated in a sophisticated and delicate manner. According to various embodiments, when the tactile feedback is generated, the outer shell (or shell, external structure or base structure) of the wrist pad can remain stationary relative to the surface on which the wrist pad is placed. According to various embodiments, when the tactile feedback is generated, the cushion (or pad) of the wrist pad may not actively (or directly) move relative to the outer shell of the wrist pad. Instead, according to various embodiments, vibrations are generated inside the wrist pad in such a way that the vibrations can be perceived as a form of tactile feedback via the cushion of the wrist pad. Therefore, the tactile sensation can be transmitted to the user in an elegant and delicate manner without causing excessive discomfort to the user and / or interfering with the user's use of the input device.
[0031] Figure 1A schematic diagram showing a front cross-sectional view of a wrist pad 100 according to various embodiments is shown. As shown, according to various embodiments, the wrist pad 100 may include a base structure 110. According to various embodiments, the base structure 110 may be a bottom shell, a bottom housing, or a bottom external structure of the wrist pad 100. According to various embodiments, the base structure 110 may include a bottom plate portion 112. According to various embodiments, the base structure 110 may include one or more side walls 114 extending upward from the bottom plate portion 112 of the base structure 110 at one or more corresponding edges of the bottom plate portion 112 of the base structure 110. According to various embodiments, the base structure 110 may be an elongated shape. Therefore, the bottom plate portion 112 of the base structure 110 may be an elongated plate-like shape. In addition, according to various embodiments, the base structure 110 may include at least two side walls 114, each extending upward from a corresponding end edge of the elongated bottom plate portion 112 of the base structure 110.
[0032] As shown, according to various embodiments, the wrist pad 100 may further include at least two flexible supports 120 extending from the base structure 110. According to various embodiments, each of the at least two flexible supports 120 may extend at least substantially vertically or upwardly from the bottom plate portion 112 of the base structure 110 in a cylindrical or columnar manner. Therefore, each of the at least two flexible supports 120 may be at least substantially perpendicular to the bottom plate portion 112 of the base structure 110. According to various embodiments, the at least two flexible supports 120 may extend from the bottom plate portion 112 of the base structure 110 within at least two side walls 114 at the corresponding end edges of the bottom plate portion 112 of the base structure 110. According to various embodiments, the at least two flexible supports 120 may be made of a flexible material, such as rubber, an elastomer, or a dense foam material, etc., so that it can be bent and / or bendable. According to various embodiments, the at least two flexible supports may be springs. According to various embodiments, the at least two flexible supports 120 may include two, three, four or more flexible supports 120.
[0033] As shown, according to various embodiments, the wrist pad 100 may include a vibration assembly 130 supported on at least two flexible supports 120 in such a manner that the vibration assembly 130 may be separated from the base structure 110 by the at least two flexible supports 120. Therefore, the at least two flexible supports 120 may be used as spacers between the vibration assembly 130 and the base structure 110 to hold or suspend the vibration assembly 130 at a distance from (and above) the base structure 110. According to various embodiments, the at least two flexible supports 120 may be between the vibration assembly 130 and the base structure 110. Therefore, one end of each of the at least two flexible supports may be coupled to the base structure 110, and the other end of each of the at least two flexible supports may be coupled to the vibration assembly 130. Therefore, the vibration assembly 130 may not be in direct contact with the base structure 110.
[0034] According to various embodiments, the vibration assembly 130 may include a vibration component 132 and an actuator 134. According to various embodiments, the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 may be supported by at least two flexible supports 120. Therefore, the at least two flexible supports 120 may hold or suspend the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly at a distance from the base structure 110 (and above the base structure 110), so that the vibration component 132 is separated from the base structure 110. According to various embodiments, one end of each of the at least two flexible supports may be coupled to the base structure 110, and the other end of each of the at least two flexible supports may be coupled to the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130. According to various embodiments, the actuator 134 of the vibration assembly 130 may be coupled below the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 and between the at least two flexible supports 120 to be suspended from the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130. Thus, the actuator 134 of the vibration assembly 130 may be attached to the bottom surface 133 of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 such that the actuator 134 of the vibration assembly 130 may be suspended from the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130. Additionally, the actuator 134 of the vibration assembly 130 may be located between at least two flexible supports 120. According to various embodiments, the vibration assembly 130 may include one or more actuators 134 coupled to the vibration component 132. Additionally, the one or more actuators 134 may be located between at least two flexible supports 120. According to various embodiments, the actuator 134 of the vibration assembly 130 may be at a midpoint of the length of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 between at least two flexible supports 120. According to various embodiments, the vibration component 132 may be an elongated vibration plate.
[0035] As shown, according to various embodiments, the wrist pad 100 may include a cushion assembly 140, the cushion assembly 140 including a cushion 142, the cushion 142 being disposed above the vibration assembly 130 in such a manner as to hide the vibration assembly 130 between the base structure 110 and the cushion 142, wherein the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140 may be fastened to the base structure 110. Therefore, the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140 may be attached to the base structure 110, and may cover the base structure 110 in such a manner as to enclose the inner space 102 of the wrist pad 100. Therefore, the vibration assembly 130 may be contained in the inner space 102 of the wrist pad 100 defined by the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140 and the base structure 110, so that the vibration assembly 140 may be enclosed in the wrist pad 100. According to various embodiments, the cushion may be made of sponge, foam, or polyester. According to various embodiments, the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 can loosely abut the cushion assembly 140. Thus, the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 can be in close proximity to the cushion assembly 140 such that the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 can contact or can touch the cushion assembly 140. The vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 can not be fastened, attached, fixed, or joined to the cushion assembly 140. For example, the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 can loosely abut the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140 in such a manner that the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 can contact or can touch the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140 without being fastened, attached, fixed, or joined to each other.
[0036] According to various embodiments, the vibration assembly 130 can be set to enter a vibration motion. According to various embodiments, the vibration motion of the vibration assembly 130 can be a vibration motion of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130. Therefore, the actuator 134 of the vibration assembly 130 can be configured to be operable to vibrate the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 so as to set the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 to enter a vibration motion in response to a signal received from the processor to generate tactile feedback in the wrist pad 100. Therefore, when the wrist pad 100 requires tactile feedback, the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 can be set to enter a vibration motion by the actuator 134. According to various embodiments, the processor can be a host computer that runs an application and sends a signal directly to the actuator 134 of the vibration assembly 130 to generate tactile feedback. According to various embodiments, the processor may also be a local processor in the wrist pad 100 that receives tactile feedback instructions from a host computer running an application program, and then sends a signal to the actuator 134 of the vibration assembly 130 to generate tactile feedback. According to various embodiments, the processor may be understood as any type of logic implementation entity, which may be a dedicated circuit or a processor that executes software stored in memory, firmware, or any combination thereof. Thus, the processor may be a hard-wired logic circuit or may be a programmable logic circuit, such as a programmable processor (e.g., a programmable logic controller (PLC)), such as a microprocessor (e.g., a complex instruction set computer (CISC) processor or a reduced instruction set computer (RISC) processor). The processor may also be a processor that executes software, such as any type of computer program, such as a computer program using a virtual machine code (e.g., Java). According to various embodiments, the processor may be integrated or packaged in the wrist pad 100, or may be a separate device connected to the wrist pad 100.
[0037] According to various embodiments, at least two flexible supports 120 may be configured to isolate the base structure 110 from the vibration movement of the vibration assembly 130. According to various embodiments, the at least two flexible supports 120 may isolate the base structure 110 from the vibration movement of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130. Therefore, the at least two flexible supports 120 made of flexible material may be used to absorb and / or attenuate vibrations, thereby preventing vibrations from being transmitted from the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 to the base structure 110, so as to isolate the base structure 110 from the vibration movement of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130. According to various embodiments, when the vibration movement of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 is in the xy plane relative to the base structure 110, the at least two flexible supports 120 may bend, flex, sway, twist or deflect to a certain extent accordingly to absorb or attenuate the vibration movement in the xy plane. According to various embodiments, when the vibration movement of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 is in the z direction relative to the base structure 110, at least two flexible support members 120 can be stretched, compressed, bent, flexed, twisted, twisted or deformed to a certain extent to absorb or attenuate the vibration movement in the z direction.
[0038] According to various embodiments, at least two flexible support members 120 can also be configured to provide a biasing force along the corresponding axial direction in such a manner that when the user's wrist is placed on the wrist pad 100, the at least two flexible support members 120 can push or squeeze toward the user's wrist, so that the vibration movement of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 will not be affected by the pressure from the user's wrist or weakened by the aforementioned pressure, and can be perceived by the user's wrist in the form of tactile feedback.
[0039] According to various embodiments, the vibration movement of the vibration assembly 130 may cause the surface of the vibration assembly 130 facing the cushion assembly 140 (or the topmost surface of the vibration assembly 130) to move relative to the corresponding surface of the cushion assembly 140 facing the vibration assembly 130 (or the bottommost surface of the cushion assembly 140), so as to allow the vibration movement of the vibration assembly 130 to be sensed via the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140. According to various embodiments, the surface of the vibration assembly 130 facing the cushion assembly 140 (or the topmost surface of the vibration assembly 130) may be the surface 136 (or the top surface) of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 facing the cushion assembly 140. Therefore, the surface 136 of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 and the corresponding surface of the cushion assembly 140 (or the bottommost surface of the cushion assembly 140) may be opposite to each other and face each other. According to various embodiments, the surface 136 of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 may loosely abut the corresponding surface of the cushion assembly 140. Thus, the surface 136 of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 may be in close proximity to the corresponding surface of the cushion assembly 140, such that the surface 136 of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 may contact or touch the corresponding surface of the cushion assembly 140. Additionally, the surface 136 of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 may not be fastened, attached, fixed, or joined to the corresponding surface of the cushion assembly 140. Thus, when the vibration assembly 130 is set into a vibrating motion, the surface 136 of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 may move relative to the corresponding surface of the cushion assembly 140, such that the user's wrist resting on the wrist pad 100 may sense the vibrating motion of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 immediately below the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140. Therefore, indirect tactile feedback may be generated by the vibration assembly 130 , and the indirect tactile feedback may be sensed via the pad assembly 140 of the wrist pad 100 .
[0040] According to various embodiments, the corresponding surface of the cushion assembly 140 (or the bottommost surface of the cushion assembly 140) may be the corresponding surface 144 (or the bottom surface) of the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140 that faces the vibration assembly 130. Therefore, the surface 136 (or the top surface) of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 may loosely abut the corresponding surface 144 (or the bottom surface) of the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140 in such a manner that the surface 136 of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 may contact or touch the corresponding surface 144 of the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140 without being fastened, attached, fixed or engaged with each other. Therefore, the vibration movement of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 can cause the surface 136 of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 to move relative to the corresponding surface 144 of the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140, so that the wrist of the user resting on the wrist pad 100 can sense the vibration movement of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 via the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140 in contact with the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130. Therefore, the user can indirectly sense the tactile feedback generated by the vibration movement of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 via the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140.
[0041] Figure 2A A schematic diagram illustrating a front cross-sectional view of a wrist pad 200 according to various embodiments. Figure 2B Shown according to various embodiments Figure 2A FIG. 2 is a bottom view of the wrist pad 200 with the base structure removed. According to various embodiments, Figure 2A and Figure 2B The wrist pad 200 may include Figure 1 All the features of the wrist pad 100. Therefore, it is suitable for Figure 1 All features, changes, modifications and variations of the wrist pad 100 are also applicable to Figure 2A and Figure 2B According to various embodiments, Figure 2A and Figure 2B The wrist pad 200 may be different from Figure 1 Wrist pad 100, because Figure 2A The wrist pad 200 may include the following additional features and / or limitations.
[0042] like Figure 2A and Figure 2B As shown, according to various embodiments, the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140 may include a recessed portion 246. According to various embodiments, the recessed portion 246 of the cushion 142 may be a cutout portion of the cushion 142 that forms an indentation or groove in the cushion 142. According to various embodiments, the recessed portion 246 may be on a corresponding surface 144 of the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140 that faces the vibration assembly 130.
[0043] According to various embodiments, the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140 may be disposed above the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130, wherein the vibration component 132 is disposed within the recessed portion 246 of the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140. Thus, when the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly is placed above the vibration assembly 130 and secured to the base structure 110, the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 (or at least a portion of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130) may fit into the recessed portion 246 of the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140. Thus, the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140 may surround the periphery of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130.
[0044] According to various embodiments, the recessed portion 246 of the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140 may be larger than the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130. According to various embodiments, the planar area of the recessed portion 246 of the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140 may be larger than the corresponding planar area of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130, so that an annular gap 248 between the periphery of the vibration component 132 and the peripheral wall 247 of the recessed portion 246 of the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140 surrounds the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130. Therefore, the annular gap 248 can provide space for the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 to move relative to the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140 in all directions along the corresponding planar area of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130.
[0045] According to various embodiments, the fluid or gel may be filled between the recessed portion 246 of the cushion 142 and the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130. Therefore, the fluid or gel may be filled in the annular gap 248 between the recessed portion 246 of the cushion 142 and the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130. According to various other embodiments, the annular gap 248 between the recessed portion 246 of the cushion 142 and the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 may be an air gap without any filler. The annular gap allows the vibration component 132 to move in the horizontal direction.
[0046] Figure 3 Schematic diagram showing a front cross-sectional view of a wrist pad 300 according to various embodiments. According to various embodiments, Figure 3 The wrist pad 300 may include Figure 1 All the features of the wrist pad 100. Therefore, it is suitable for Figure 1 All features, changes, modifications and variations of the wrist pad 100 are also applicable to Figure 3 According to various embodiments, Figure 3 The wrist pad 300 may be different from Figure 1 Wrist pad 100, because Figure 3The wrist pad 300 may include the following additional features and / or limitations. It should be understood that although the following references to Figure 1 The Wrist Pad 100 describes Figure 3 Additional features and / or limitations of the wrist pad 300, but according to various embodiments, Figure 3 Additional features and / or limitations of the wrist pad 300 may also be associated with Figure 2A and Figure 2B Combination of 200 wrist pads.
[0047] like Figure 3 As shown, according to various embodiments, Figure 3 The wrist pad 300 may include a lubricating layer 350 between the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 and the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140. According to various embodiments, the lubricating layer 350 may be configured to minimize the vibration loss of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 and facilitate the relative movement between the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 and the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140. Therefore, the lubricating layer 350 may reduce the friction between the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 and the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140.
[0048] like Figure 3 As shown, according to various embodiments, the lubricating layer 350 may be in the form of a lubricating plate 352 of the cushion assembly 140, which is fixedly attached to a side of the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140 that faces the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 in such a manner as to be opposite to and face the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130, so that the lubricating plate 352 may be in direct contact with the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130. According to various embodiments, the lubricating plate 352 may be attached to the corresponding surface 144 (or bottom surface) of the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140, so that the lubricating plate 352 may face the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130. Therefore, the lubricating plate 352 may be sandwiched between the surface 136 (or top surface) of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 and the corresponding surface 144 (or bottom surface) of the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140.
[0049] According to various embodiments, since the lubrication plate 352 is fixedly attached to the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140, the lubrication plate 352 may be considered to be a part of the cushion assembly 140. Therefore, the corresponding surface of the cushion assembly 140 (or the bottommost surface of the cushion assembly 140), where the surface 136 (or the top surface) of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 may loosely abut the corresponding surface 354 (or the bottom surface) of the lubrication plate 352. Therefore, the surface 136 (or the top surface) of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 may loosely abut the corresponding surface 354 (or the bottom surface) of the lubrication plate 352 of the cushion assembly 140 in such a manner that the surface 136 of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 may contact or touch the corresponding surface 354 of the lubrication plate 352 without being fastened, attached, fixed or engaged with each other. Therefore, the vibration movement of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 can cause the surface 136 of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 to move relative to the corresponding surface 354 of the lubrication plate 352, so that by virtue of the lubrication plate 352 of the cushion assembly 140 contacting the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130, the user's wrist resting on the wrist pad 300 can sense the vibration movement of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 via the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140.
[0050] According to various embodiments, the lubrication plate 352 may be fixedly attached to the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140 via an adhesive or glue. Thus, the lubrication plate 352 may adhere to the corresponding surface 144 (or bottom surface) of the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140 via an adhesive or glue.
[0051] Figure 4 Schematic diagram showing a front cross-sectional view of a wrist pad 400 according to various embodiments. According to various embodiments, Figure 4 The wrist pad 400 may include Figure 1 All the features of the wrist pad 100. Therefore, it is suitable for Figure 1 All features, changes, modifications and variations of the wrist pad 100 are also applicable to Figure 4 According to various embodiments, Figure 4 The wrist pad 400 may be different from Figure 1 The wrist pad 100 is different in that Figure 4 The wrist pad 400 may include the following additional features and / or limitations. It should be understood that although the following references to Figure 1 The Wrist Pad 100 describes Figure 4 Additional features and / or limitations of the wrist pad 400, but according to various embodiments, Figure 4 Additional features and / or limitations of the wrist pad 400 may also be used in any combination with Figure 2A and Figure 2B Wrist pad 200 and / or Figure 3 Combination of 300 wrist pads.
[0052] like Figure 4 As shown, according to various embodiments, Figure 4 The wrist pad 400 may include a lubricating layer 450 between the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 and the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140. According to various embodiments, the lubricating layer 450 may be configured to minimize the vibration loss of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 and facilitate the relative movement between the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 and the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140. Therefore, the lubricating layer 450 may reduce the friction between the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 and the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140.
[0053] like Figure 4 As shown, according to various embodiments, the lubricating layer 450 can be in the form of a bump or circular protrusion 454 that protrudes from the surface 136 (or top surface) of the vibrating component 132 of the vibrating assembly 130 toward the pad assembly 140. According to various embodiments, the bump or circular protrusion 454 can be integrally molded or formed with the vibrating component 132 of the vibrating assembly 130 so that the vibrating component 132 and the bump or circular protrusion 454 are integrally formed as a single one-piece unit. According to various embodiments, the bump or circular protrusion 454 can be arranged at regular intervals along the length of the vibrating component 132 of the vibrating assembly 130.
[0054] According to various embodiments, a surface of the vibration assembly 130 (or the topmost surface of the vibration assembly 130 ) and a corresponding surface of the cushion assembly 140 (or the bottommost surface of the cushion assembly 130 ) may be opposite to and face each other. Figure 4In the embodiment, according to various embodiments, the bumps or rounded protrusions 454 on the surface 136 (or top surface) of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 may loosely abut the corresponding surface of the cushion assembly 140. Therefore, the bumps or rounded protrusions 454 on the surface 136 of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 may be in close proximity to the corresponding surface of the cushion assembly 140, so that the bumps or rounded protrusions 454 on the surface 136 of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 may contact or touch the corresponding surface of the cushion assembly 140. In addition, the bumps or rounded protrusions 454 on the surface 136 of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 may not be fastened, attached, fixed or joined to the corresponding surface of the cushion assembly 140. Therefore, when the vibration assembly 130 is set to enter a vibrating motion, the bump or circular protrusion 454 on the surface 136 of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 can move relative to the corresponding surface of the cushion assembly 140, so that the user's wrist resting on the wrist pad 100 can sense the vibrating movement of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 just below the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140.
[0055] According to various embodiments, the corresponding surface of the cushion assembly 140 (or the bottommost surface of the cushion assembly 140) may be the corresponding surface 144 (or the bottom surface) of the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140 that faces the vibration assembly 130. Therefore, the bumps or round protrusions 454 on the surface 136 (or the top surface) of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 may loosely abut the corresponding surface 144 (or the bottom surface) of the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140 in such a manner that the bumps or round protrusions 454 on the surface 136 of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 may contact or touch the corresponding surface 144 of the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140 without being fastened, attached, fixed or engaged with each other. Therefore, the vibration movement of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 can cause the bump or circular protrusion 454 on the surface 136 of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 to move relative to the corresponding surface 144 of the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140, so that the wrist of the user resting on the wrist pad 100 can sense the vibration movement of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 via the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140 in contact with the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130.
[0056] According to various embodiments, the bumps or circular protrusions 454 on the surface 136 (or top surface) of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 can minimize contact with the corresponding surface 144 (or bottom surface) of the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140, thereby minimizing friction to minimize vibration losses of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 and promote relative movement between the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 and the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140.
[0057] As an illustration and Figure 4 Examples of features and / or limitations related to the bumps or round protrusions 454 on the surface 136 (or top surface) of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 of the wrist pad 400 that can be combined with other embodiments, Figure 5 A schematic diagram showing a front cross-sectional view of a wrist pad 500 according to various embodiments, wherein Figure 4 Features and / or limitations related to the bumps or rounded projections 454 on the surface 136 (or top surface) of the vibrating component 132 of the vibrating assembly 130 of the wrist pad 400 are Figure 3 Wrist pad 300 combination. Figure 5 As shown, according to various embodiments, the corresponding surface of the cushion assembly 140 (or the bottommost surface of the cushion assembly 140) to which the bump or round protrusion 454 on the surface 136 (or the top surface) of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 may be loosely abutted may be the corresponding surface 354 (or the bottom surface) of the lubrication plate 352 of the cushion assembly 140. Therefore, the bump or round protrusion 454 on the surface 136 (or the top surface) of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 may be loosely abutted against the corresponding surface 354 (or the bottom surface) of the lubrication plate 352 of the cushion assembly 140 in such a manner that the bump or round protrusion 454 on the surface 136 (or the top surface) of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 may contact or touch the corresponding surface 354 of the lubrication plate 352 without being fastened, attached, fixed or engaged with each other. Therefore, the vibration movement of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 can cause the bump or circular protrusion 454 on the surface 136 of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 to move relative to the corresponding surface 354 of the lubrication plate 352, so that the lubrication plate 352 of the pad assembly 140 contacts the bump or circular protrusion 454 on the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130, and the user's wrist resting on the wrist pad 300 can sense the vibration movement of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 through the pad 142 of the pad assembly 140.
[0058] According to various embodiments, Figure 5The lubricating layer 550 of the wrist pad 500 may include bumps or circular protrusions 454 on the surface 136 (or top surface) of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 and the lubricating plate 352 of the cushion assembly 140. According to various embodiments, the bumps or circular protrusions 454 on the surface 136 (or top surface) of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 may minimize contact with the corresponding surface 354 (or bottom surface) of the lubricating plate 352 of the cushion assembly 140, thereby minimizing friction, minimizing vibration loss of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130, and facilitating relative movement between the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 and the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140.
[0059] Figure 6 Schematic diagram showing a front cross-sectional view of a wrist pad 600 according to various embodiments. According to various embodiments, Figure 6 The wrist pad 600 may include Figure 1 All the features of the wrist pad 100. Therefore, it is suitable for Figure 1 All features, changes, modifications and variations of the wrist pad 100 are also applicable to Figure 6 According to various embodiments, Figure 6 The wrist pad 600 may be different from Figure 1 Wrist pad 100, because Figure 6 The wrist pad 600 may include the following additional features and / or limitations. It should be understood that although the following references Figure 1 The Wrist Pad 100 describes Figure 6 Additional features and / or limitations of wrist pad 600, but according to various embodiments, Figure 6 Additional features and / or limitations of the wrist pad 600 may also be used in any combination with Figure 2A and Figure 2B Wrist pad 200 and / or Figure 3 Combination of 300 wrist pads.
[0060] like Figure 6 As shown, according to various embodiments, Figure 6 The wrist pad 600 may include a lubricating layer 650 between the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 and the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140. According to various embodiments, the lubricating layer 650 may be configured to minimize the vibration loss of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 and facilitate the relative movement between the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 and the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140. Therefore, the lubricating layer 650 may reduce the friction between the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 and the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140.
[0061] like Figure 6As shown, according to various embodiments, the lubricating layer 650 may be in the form of one or more lubricating pads 656, which are made of a self-lubricating material and attached to the surface 136 (or top surface) of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 that faces the cushion assembly 140. According to various embodiments, the one or more lubricating pads 656 may be attached to the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 via glue or adhesive. According to various embodiments, the one or more lubricating pads 656 may be arranged at regular intervals along the length of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130. According to various embodiments, the one or more lubricating pads 656 may have various shapes and sizes. According to various embodiments, the one or more lubricating pads 656 may be in the form of an elongated strip. According to various embodiments, the one or more lubricating pads 656 may include two or more pads distributed at regular intervals along the length of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130.
[0062] According to various embodiments, a surface of the vibration assembly 130 (or the topmost surface of the vibration assembly 130 ) and a corresponding surface of the cushion assembly 140 (or the bottommost surface of the cushion assembly 130 ) may be opposite to and face each other. Figure 6 In the embodiment of the present invention, according to various embodiments, one or more lubricating pads 656 on the surface 136 (or top surface) of the vibrating component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 may loosely abut the corresponding surface of the cushion assembly 140. Thus, the one or more lubricating pads 656 on the surface 136 of the vibrating component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 may be in close proximity to the corresponding surface of the cushion assembly 140, such that the one or more lubricating pads 656 on the surface 136 of the vibrating component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 may contact or touch the corresponding surface of the cushion assembly 140. In addition, the one or more lubricating pads 656 on the surface 136 of the vibrating component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 may not be fastened, attached, fixed or joined to the corresponding surface of the cushion assembly 140. Therefore, when the vibration assembly 130 is set to enter a vibrating motion, one or more lubricating pads 656 on the surface 136 of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 can move relative to the corresponding surface of the cushion assembly 140, so that the user's wrist resting on the wrist pad 100 can sense the vibrating movement of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 just below the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140.
[0063] According to various embodiments, the corresponding surface of the cushion assembly 140 (or the bottommost surface of the cushion assembly 140) may be the corresponding surface 144 (or the bottom surface) of the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140 that faces the vibration assembly 130. Therefore, the one or more lubricating pads 656 on the surface 136 (or the top surface) of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 may loosely abut the corresponding surface 144 (or the bottom surface) of the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140 in such a manner that the one or more lubricating pads 656 on the surface 136 of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 may contact or touch the corresponding surface 144 of the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140 without being fastened, attached, fixed or engaged with each other. Therefore, the vibration movement of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 can cause one or more lubricating pads 656 on the surface 136 of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 to move relative to the corresponding surface 144 of the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140, so that the wrist of the user resting on the wrist pad 100 can sense the vibration movement of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 via the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140 in contact with the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130.
[0064] According to various embodiments, one or more lubricating pads 656 on the surface 136 (or top surface) of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 may be self-lubricating so that it can reduce friction with the corresponding surface 144 (or bottom surface) of the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140, thereby minimizing vibration losses of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 and facilitating relative movement between the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 and the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140.
[0065] As an illustration and Figure 6 Examples of features and / or limitations related to one or more lubricating pads 656 on the surface 136 (or top surface) of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 of the wrist pad 600 that can be combined with other embodiments, Figure 7 A schematic diagram showing a front cross-sectional view of a wrist pad 700 according to various embodiments, wherein Figure 6 Features and / or limitations associated with one or more lubricating pads 656 on the surface 136 (or top surface) of the vibrating component 132 of the vibrating assembly 130 of the wrist pad 600 Figure 3 Wrist pad 300 combination. Figure 7As shown, according to various embodiments, the corresponding surface of the cushion assembly 140 (or the bottommost surface of the cushion assembly 140) to which the one or more lubricating pads 656 on the surface 136 (or the top surface) of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 may be loosely adjacent may be the corresponding surface 354 (or the bottom surface) of the lubricating plate 352 of the cushion assembly 140. Therefore, the one or more lubricating pads 656 on the surface 136 (or the top surface) of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 may be loosely adjacent to the corresponding surface 354 (or the bottom surface) of the lubricating plate 352 of the cushion assembly 140 in such a manner that the one or more lubricating pads 656 on the surface 136 of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 may contact or touch the corresponding surface 354 of the lubricating plate 352 without being fastened, attached, fixed or engaged with each other. Therefore, the vibration movement of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 can cause one or more lubricating pads 656 on the surface 136 of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 to move relative to the corresponding surface 354 of the lubricating plate 352, so that the lubricating plate 352 of the cushion assembly 140 contacts the one or more lubricating pads 656 on the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130, and the wrist of the user resting on the wrist pad 300 can sense the vibration movement of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 via the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140.
[0066] According to various embodiments, Figure 7 The lubrication layer 750 of the wrist pad 700 may include one or more lubrication pads 656 on the surface 136 (or top surface) of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 and the lubrication plate 352 of the cushion assembly 140. According to various embodiments, the one or more lubrication pads 656 on the surface 136 (or top surface) of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 are self-lubricating, so that they can reduce friction with the corresponding surface 354 (or bottom surface) of the lubrication plate 352 of the cushion assembly 140, thereby minimizing the vibration loss of the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 and facilitating relative movement between the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130 and the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140.
[0067] Figure 8 Schematic diagram showing a front cross-sectional view of a wrist pad 800 according to various embodiments. According to various embodiments, Figure 8 The wrist pad 800 may include Figure 1 All the features of the wrist pad 100. Therefore, it is suitable for Figure 1 All features, changes, modifications and variations of the wrist pad 100 are also applicable to Figure 8 Wrist pad 800. According to various embodiments, Figure 8 The wrist pad 800 can be different from Figure 1 Wrist pad 100, because Figure 8The wrist pad 800 may include the following additional features and / or limitations. It should be understood that although the following references to Figure 1 The Wrist Pad 100 describes Figure 8 Additional features and / or limitations of wrist pad 800, but according to various embodiments, Figure 8 Additional features and / or limitations of the wrist pad 800 may also be used in any combination with Figure 2A and Figure 2B Wrist pad 200 and / or Figure 3 Wrist Pad 300 and / or Figure 4 Wrist pad 400 and / or Figure 5 Wrist pad 500 and / or Figure 6 Wrist pad 600 and / or Figure 7 Wrist Pad 700 Combination.
[0068] like Figure 8 As shown, according to various embodiments, the wrist pad 800 may further include a sensor 860, which is configured to detect whether a body is within a predetermined proximity of the wrist pad 800, so that when the body is detected, the vibration assembly 130 is switched from the sleep mode to the working mode to prepare to generate the vibration movement. According to various embodiments, the sensor 860 can be used as a "presence sensor" to sense whether the user is using the wrist pad 800. Therefore, if the user is not using the wrist pad 800, the tactile feedback function of the wrist pad 800 can remain turned off, so that when the wrist pad 800 is unattended, the vibration movement of the vibration assembly 130 will not be generated. Therefore, the tactile feedback function of the wrist pad 800 can be turned on only when the sensor 860 detects the user.
[0069] According to various embodiments, the sensor 860 may be electrically coupled to the actuator 134 of the vibration assembly 130. Thus, the sensor 860 may send a signal to the actuator 134 of the vibration assembly 130 when a user is detected to switch the actuator 134 of the vibration assembly 130 from a sleep mode to an operating mode. According to various embodiments, the sensor 860 may be electrically coupled to a power regulation circuit (not shown) that controls the power supply to the actuator 134 of the vibration assembly 130. The power regulation circuit may be configured to supply power to the actuator 134 of the vibration assembly 130 only when the sensor 860 sends a signal to the power regulation circuit that a user is detected, and to cut off the power supply when the signal is not received. According to various embodiments, the sensor 860 may also be electrically coupled to a processor that is in electrical communication with the actuator 134 of the vibration assembly 130. Thus, the sensor 860 may send a signal to the processor indicating whether a user is detected, so that the processor may determine whether to send a signal to the actuator 134 of the vibration assembly 130 to generate tactile feedback.
[0070] According to various embodiments, the sensor 860 may include a proximity sensor and / or a contact sensor. According to various embodiments, the proximity sensor may be a contactless sensor configured to detect the presence of an object. According to various embodiments, the proximity sensor may include a capacitive sensor, an optical sensor, an infrared sensor, a laser sensor, a light sensor, an ultrasonic sensor, a Hall effect sensor, etc. According to various embodiments, the contact sensor may include a pressure sensor, a touch sensor, a force sensor, a strain sensor, a piezoelectric sensor, a switch, etc.
[0071] According to various embodiments, the sensor 860 may be appropriately disposed relative to the wrist pad 800, depending on the type of the sensor 860. According to various embodiments, the sensor 860 may be embedded in the cushion 142 of the cushion assembly 140, the sensor 860 may be disposed between the cushion assembly 140 and the vibration assembly 130, the sensor 860 may be disposed below the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130, the sensor 860 may be disposed on the base structure 110, the sensor 860 may be disposed in the inner space 102 of the wrist pad 800, or the sensor 860 may be disposed outside the wrist pad 800.
[0072] For example, in Figure 8 , it is shown that the sensor 860 may be a proximity sensor, which may be disposed below the vibration component 132 of the vibration assembly 130. It should be understood that Figure 8 These are provided as examples only, and the various embodiments are not limited to the examples shown.

Therefore, it is suitable for Figure 1 All features, changes, modifications and variations of the wrist pad 100 are also applicable to Fig.9A Wrist pad 900. According to various embodiments, Fig.9A The wrist pad 900 can be different from Figure 1 Wrist pad 100, because Fig.9A The wrist pad 900 may include the following additional functions and / or limitations. [0074] Fig. 9B Shown according to various embodiments Fig.9A 1. A front view of the flexible support member 120 of the wrist pad 900. Fig. 9C Shown according to various embodiments Fig.9A FIG. 1 is a front cross-sectional view of a flexible support 120 of a wrist pad 900 of FIG. As shown, according to various embodiments, the flexible support 120 may include a hollow cylindrical structure 922.
