Abstract

The invention discloses a frequency diversity MIMO radar parameter estimation method based on a matrix pencil principle. The method comprises the following steps: firstly, deducing a receiving signal model of a frequency diversity MIMO radar, and analyzing a coupling relationship between an angle and a distance in a transmitting-receiving steering vector; secondly, an echo signal obtained after matched filtering of a receiving end is used for constructing an augmented matrix beam of the echo signal; then, matrix decomposition and transformation are carried out on the augmented matrix bundle, and diagonal phase matrixes containing angle and distance information are obtained respectively; and finally, in consideration of the coupling and matching problems of the angle and distance parameters of the target, the matching is realized by adopting the same characteristic vector, and the accurate positioning of the target is realized. A simulation result shows that compared with the prior art, the method has excellent estimation performance under the conditions of low snapshot number and low signal-to-noise ratio.

Description

technical field

[0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of radar signal processing, and in particular relates to a frequency diversity MIMO radar parameter estimation method based on a matrix beam principle. Background technique

[0002] Frequency diversity array is a new system array radar technology developed in the field of radar signal processing in recent years. The frequency diversity array adopts a small frequency offset in different transmitting elements to obtain beams with distance dependence. Because its beam pattern is related to time, angle, distance and frequency offset, it has become the focus of many researchers. The combination of frequency diversity radar and MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) radar, that is, frequency diversity MIMO (FDA-MIMO) radar shows significant advantages in parameter estimation and beamforming. Since the single-base frequency diversity MIMO radar has the advantages of flexibility, joint control of transceivers and o...
