Description
TECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] The invention relates to a G9 lamp holder for a cooking appliance lamp, said lamp holder comprising:
[0002] a stone socket having an upper structure and a lower structure,
[0003] a base receptacle for a base of a G9 lamp, said base receptacle having an insertion opening in the upper structure and extending into the lower structure along a longitudinal axis of the stone socket,
[0004] at least two socket contacts which accommodate the base receptacle therebetween opposite one another,
[0005] at least two connection contacts for connection conductors for power supply, said connection contacts being connected with the socket contacts,
[0006] two contact holes provided in the lower structure of the stone socket, one connection contact being accommodated in each of the contact holes and being accessible through one insertion opening, respectively,
[0007] a retaining spring having two spring arms opposite one another, said two spring arms accommodating the base receptacle therebetween and being oriented transversely to the socket contacts. BACKGROUND
[0008] G9 lamps are technically relatively simple to construct in production, durable and inexpensive, so that they are widely used in certain fields, for example in cooking appliances. In a G9 lamp, the end of the bulb with the base contacts is pressed into a strip, wherein the base contacts are connected with a foil conductor which in turn is connected with a filament provided in the bulb.
[0009] The foil conductor present in the base of a G9 lamp is temperature-sensitive. Overheating of the base can lead to melting of the foil conductor and to interruption of the electrical contact. In a G9 lamp holder for a cooking appliance, in particular an oven, a stone socket in which the G9 lamp is held serves as a heat sink or cooling body. The stone socket absorbs the excess heat of the lamp base and dissipates it.
[0010] A socket for a threaded lamp, for example according to the E39 standard, is known from prior art of the same type, for example from DE 40 31 176 A1. The socket constitutes a pot-shaped interspace for the bulb, wherein here in the region of the bulb, ventilation openings are introduced into the socket which can reduce the temperature of the bulb. SUMMARY
[0011] It is an object of the invention to optimize the temperature balance of the base of a G9 lamp.
[0012] The object is achieved by a lamp socket having features according to the application, in particular by a lamp socket having the feature that the stone socket has a ventilation channel which extends through the material of the stone socket up to the base receptacle and allows an exchange of air between the luminaire device receptacle and the outside environment.
[0013] It is provided here in particular that the ventilation channel extends diametrically through the stone socket and penetrates the section of the base receptacle which is in the lower structure, so that a ventilation air flow can enter into the stone socket from one side and exit again on the opposite side of the stone socket.
[0014] Such an air flow can pass by the lamp base which is accommodated in the base receptacle and dissipate the heat which is formed there. The lamp base temperature can thus be kept below the critical level for the foil conductor, which ensures a reliable illumination of the cooking device.
[0015] In a particularly preferred embodiment, the ventilation channel is configured as a ventilation gap which divides the lower structure of the stone socket into two support elements which are spaced apart from one another radially through the ventilation gap, in particular the section of the base receptacle which is in the lower structure is part of the ventilation gap, which embodiment can maximize the volume of air which can be exchanged by the corresponding air movement and achieve a particularly good heat dissipation, so that the cooling of the lamp base can be carried out particularly efficiently.
[0016] It is thus furthermore provided that the base receptacle penetrates the stone socket axially without a bottom in the region of the ventilation gap.
[0017] It is furthermore provided that a retaining spring for the lamp base is arranged in the base receptacle, which retaining spring has two mutually opposite spring legs which form a retaining gap therebetween, the free ends of the spring legs extending in the direction of the lower structure.
[0018] In this way it is ensured that the retaining spring which is usually accommodated in the lower structure and mounted against the insertion direction of the G9 lamp can still be reliably anchored on the stone socket despite the ventilation channel, in particular despite the ventilation gap. [0027] The oven lamp according to the application is generally designated by the reference numeral 10 in the various figures.
[0028] Figure 1 The oven lamp 10 according to the application is shown in an exploded view. The oven lamp 10 has a lamp glass 11, a fastening ring 12 comprising a neutral conductor connection 13, a lamp socket 14 formed by a stone socket 15, socket contacts 16 and connection contacts 17 for supplying the lamp with power.
[0029] A G9 lamp 19 is used as the lamp device 18, the bulb 20 of which is formed on its end facing the socket in the insertion direction X into a strip-shaped lamp base 21, wherein base contacts 22 result from the lamp base 21.
[0030] Figure 2The stone socket 15 forming the lamp holder 14 is shown in a first side view. The stone socket 15 is divided into an upper structure 23 and a lower structure 24. The upper structure 23 constitutes a pot-shaped recess which opens in the direction of the lamp glass 11 and whose insertion opening 25 for the G9 lamp 19 is surrounded by a retaining flange 26. The retaining flange 26 is connected to a cylindrical wall section 27 in the insertion direction X, which wall section is mounted on a socket base 28. The retaining flange 26, the wall section 27 and the socket base 28 are added to the upper structure 23. The wall section 27 is provided with a coding strip 29 which interacts with non- shown coding cutouts of the cooking space wall to ensure a positionally correct and twist-proof arrangement of the stone socket 15. The lower structure 24 of the stone socket 15 is formed by two supports 30 which originate from the socket base 28 in the insertion direction X and are spaced apart from one another by a ventilation gap 31. The ventilation gap 31 is here parallel to the longitudinal central axis LM of the stone socket 15 in the insertion direction. The ventilation gap 31 thus straddles an axially oriented separation plane between the supports 30.
[0031] Figure 3 The stone socket 15 is shown from above, i.e. in the view direction X in which the lamp 19 is inserted into the socket 14. This corresponds to the view arrow III in Figure 2 . The retaining flange 26 facing the observer can be seen first of all, as well as the socket base 28 formed by the upper structure 23, which separates the upper structure 23 from the lower structure 24. Notches 32 and through-holes 33 in the wall section 27 serve for the orientation and retention of the fastening ring 12 and are of no further importance for the invention itself.
[0032] Different openings can be present in the socket base 28. For example, a neutral conductor slot 34, for example, for accommodating the neutral conductor connection end 13, the contact end of which emerges in the region of the lower structure 24 below the socket base 28, so that the neutral conductor can be touched there. In the centre of the socket base 28 there is a substantially rectangular recess 32 which forms a base accommodation 35 into which the base 21 of the G9 lamp 19 (see Figure 1 ) can be fitted. The substantially rectangular base accommodation 35 has two contact recesses 36 into which the base contacts 22 of the lamp base 21 are fitted. The base accommodation 35 is defined by two mutually opposite end walls 37 and here transversely arranged, likewise opposite, transverse walls 38, which are formed by the stone socket 15. Each contact recess is provided with a socket contact through-hole 39 extending into the lower support 30, respectively, parallel to the end wall 37, into which a socket contact (not shown here) is inserted.
[0033] Each lateral wall 38 is held approximately centrally by a holding spring insert 40, wherein each holding spring insert 40 serves to arrange spring arms of a holding spring for locking securing the lamp base 21.
[0034] Finally Figure 3 It is further shown that the bottom of the base accommodation 35 is at least partially open towards the lower side, so that at least the portion of the base accommodation 35 which is located in the lower structure 24 of the stone socket 15 merges into the ventilation gap 31 or is part of the ventilation gap.
[0035] Figure 4 A view of the stone socket 15 is shown from below, i.e. from the perspective along the insertion direction X against the insertion of the G9 lamp 19 into the lamp socket 14. This corresponds to the view arrow IV in Figure 2 . Here, the underside of the socket bottom 28 and the neutral conductor slit 24 extending through the socket bottom 28 from the upper side can be seen first. Also visible is the underside of the holding flange 26 and the portion of the through-hole 33 which extends into the holding flange 26. Each support 30 which is provided in the lower structure 24 of the stone socket 15 and extends from the socket bottom 28 along the insertion direction X constitutes a contact hole 41, respectively, which is accessible via an insertion opening 42, respectively. Each contact hole 41 accommodates a connection contact 17 for supplying the G9 lamp 19 with power, wherein, Figure 4 It is shown that the socket contact through-holes 39 extend into each contact hole 41.
[0036] In the present embodiment, the ventilation channel according to the application is formed by the ventilation gap 31 already mentioned with respect to Figure 2 . The ventilation channel extends orthogonally to the socket bottom 28 and from the socket bottom along the insertion direction X. The ventilation gap 31 opens out an axially oriented separation plane T in which the longitudinal centre axis LM of the stone socket 15 is arranged. The separation plane T divides the lower structure 24 into the two above-mentioned radially spaced-apart support 30 and extends diametrically through the lower structure 24.
[0037] Figure 5 A sectional view of the stone socket 15 along the sectioning plane V-V in Figure 2 is shown.
[0038] By means of the sectional view, the upper part can be observed, first showing the through-hole 33 for the positioning of the fastening ring 12 and the base accommodation 35 with the lateral walls 38 and the end wall 37.
[0039] Figure 6 Again, a side view of the stone socket 15 is shown, wherein the orientation of the stone socket 15 is rotated by 90° with respect to Figure 2 about the longitudinal centre axis LM. Figure 7A cross-sectional view is shown according to the cutting plane axis marked VII-VII there.
[0040] According to Figure 7 It can be well seen that the base accommodation 35 extends into the area below the socket bottom 28 and is thus part of the ventilation gap 31, so that a large exchangeable air volume is always ensured for heat dissipation.
[0041] The invention discloses for the first time a ventilation channel 31 for cooling the base of a G9 lamp 19 in a G9 lamp holder. The ventilation channel 31 is provided in the lower structure 24 of the stone socket 15, whereby it is thus located below the socket bottom 28 and is thus part of the base accommodation 35 of the lamp holder 14. This ensures targeted cooling of the G9 lamp base 21.
[0042] The shown embodiment shows a preferred design of the ventilation channel 31 in the form of a ventilation gap which extends diametrically through the lower structure 24 of the stone socket 15 and furthermore constitutes a bottomless continuation in the insertion direction X from the socket bottom 28. The lower structure 24 of the stone socket is thus divided into two diametrically spaced, unconnected supports 30, the spacing of which measured in radial direction determines the width of the ventilation gap 31.
[0043] The base accommodation 35 extends into the lower structure 24, so that it is part of the ventilation gap 31. In an optimized design, the retaining spring for the lamp base 21 is embedded into the base accommodation 35 from above, so that the spring arms of the retaining spring extend with their free end in the direction of the lower structure 24 in the insertion direction X, while the connected end of the spring arms is provided in the upper structure 23 of the stone socket 15.
