Abstract
Description
TECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] Embodiments relate to a heating unit and a vehicle heating device including the same. In particular, embodiments relate to a vehicle heating device that improves performance, efficiency, and quality of heating a vehicle interior by thermal convection or thermal radiation using a heating unit. BACKGROUND
[0002] A vehicle is equipped with an air conditioning device for a vehicle for adjusting air temperature or the like in a vehicle interior. The air conditioning device can generate warm air to keep the vehicle interior warm in winter or can generate cool air to keep the vehicle interior cool in summer.
[0003] The air conditioning device can include an air conditioning unit configured to supply air having a regulated temperature to the vehicle interior and a blower unit configured to supply air to the air conditioning unit.
[0004] The air conditioning unit can include an air conditioning housing having a plurality of discharge ducts, an evaporator disposed in the air conditioning housing, a heater, and a door configured to regulate an air flow rate. Accordingly, the air conditioning unit can regulate the temperature of air to be supplied to the vehicle interior by using the evaporator, the heater, and the door. In this case, the heater can be a positive temperature coefficient (PTC) heater using a positive temperature coefficient (PTC) element.
[0005] Further, the blower unit can supply air into the air conditioning unit by using a blower that rotates by means of an actuator (not shown).
[0006] Meanwhile, the air conditioning device can perform local heating and air conditioning using an infrared lamp.
[0007] As an invention related to the infrared lamp, there is Korean Patent Publication No. 10-2018-0055961 (May 28, 2018) entitled "Infrared Ray Heater for Vehicle."
[0008] Figure 1 is a diagram illustrating an infrared heater for a vehicle in the related art.
[0009] Referring to Figure 1 , the infrared heater can locally heat an interior of a vehicle by using an infrared lamp 1400.
[0010] In this case, the infrared heater can include a heat radiation fin 1201 disposed in the air conditioning duct 1200, a reflection plate 1101 configured to reflect heat radiated from the infrared lamp 1400, and a heat transfer portion 1103 configured to thermally connect the reflection plate 1101 and the heat radiation fin 1201. Also, the infrared heater can further include a blocking film 1303 configured to cover an opening of the reflection plate 1101.
[0011] Because the infrared heater uses the infrared lamp 1400, the infrared heater needs to have the reflection plate 1101 and basically have the heat transfer portion 1103 and the heat radiation fin 1201 to transfer heat to the air conditioning duct 1200.
[0012] However, the configuration including the reflection plate 1101, the heat transfer portion 1103, and the heat radiation fin 1201 increases the size of the infrared heater. Thus, because the infrared heater having the increased size needs to occupy a portion of the interior space of the vehicle, the interior space is reduced, which limits the design freedom of the vehicle.
[0013] In addition, because the infrared heater transfers radiated heat from the infrared lamp 1400 to the air conditioning duct 1200 by using the reflection plate 1101, the heat transfer portion 1103, and the heat radiation fin 1201, the thermal efficiency is deteriorated compared to a case in which the radiated heat from the infrared lamp 1400 is directly used. That is, because the infrared heater indirectly uses the radiated heat from the infrared lamp 1400, the thermal efficiency is deteriorated compared to a case in which the radiated heat from the infrared lamp 1400 is directly used.
[0014] Also, because the infrared heater indirectly uses the radiated heat from the infrared lamp 1400, there is a limit in rapidly increasing the temperature of air supplied by the blower unit even though the PTC heater heats the air to a predetermined temperature and supplies the air to the interior of the vehicle. That is, because the infrared heater indirectly uses the radiated heat, there is a limit in performance in rapidly increasing the temperature in the interior of the vehicle. SUMMARY

[0088] Hereinafter, in the detailed description of the exemplary embodiments of the present application with reference to the accompanying drawings, in all the drawings, the same or corresponding components will be denoted by the same reference numerals, and redundant descriptions will be omitted.
[0089] Figure 2is a diagram illustrating a vehicle heating device according to an embodiment, which is connected to an air conditioning device for a vehicle, and can be a conceptual diagram illustrating the flow of air between a vehicle interior and the air conditioning device for the vehicle.
[0090] Referring to Figure 2 , the vehicle heating device 1 according to the embodiment is connected to one side of an air conditioning unit 10 configured to supply air to a vehicle interior, and can heat the interior of a passenger compartment by at least one of thermal convection and thermal radiation. In this case, a blower unit 20 can supply air into the air conditioning unit 10 by using a blower that rotates by means of an actuator (not shown). Further, the air conditioning unit 10 can include a cooling heat exchanger and a heating heat exchanger disposed therein. Accordingly, it is possible to adjust the temperature of air passing through the air conditioning unit 10.
[0091] The vehicle heating device 1 can be connected to one side of an air conditioning housing 11 of the air conditioning unit 10. Specifically, the vehicle heating device 1 can be connected and communicated with a floor duct 15 among a plurality of discharge ducts disposed at one side of the air conditioning housing 11, and heat air flowing along the floor duct 15.
[0092] Accordingly, even if the heater 13 disposed in the air conditioning housing 11 heats air to about 40 degrees, the vehicle heating device 1 connected to the end of the floor duct 15 compensates for the temperature of the air and heats the interior of the vehicle, which makes it possible to minimize heat loss through the floor duct 15. For example, in a related art in which the vehicle heating device 1 is not installed in the floor duct 15, the heater 13 disposed in the air conditioning housing 11 heats air to a high temperature of 65 degrees or more and supplies heat to the interior of the vehicle, thereby heating the interior of the vehicle. In this case, the heater 13 can be a positive temperature coefficient (PTC) heater using a PTC element.
[0093] Accordingly, the vehicle heating device 1 can achieve direct thermal radiation toward a passenger while directly heating air flowing through the heating unit by using the heating unit, thereby improving the performance and quality of heating the passenger to be heated.
[0094] In this case, an example in which the vehicle heating device 1 performs thermal convection by the blower unit 20 and the heating unit and thermal radiation by the heating unit has been described, but the present invention is not necessarily limited thereto. For example, the vehicle heating device 1 can selectively achieve only thermal convection by the blower unit 20 and the heating unit or thermal radiation by the heating unit using a control unit (not shown). In this case, the control unit can be an electronic control unit (ECU) that is an electronic control device of the vehicle.
[0095] In addition, the door 30 can also be provided in the floor duct 15 and controlled by the control unit. Accordingly, the door 30 can adjust the amount of air flowing along the floor duct 15 or block the air.
[0096] In this case, in order to distinguish the door 14 provided in the air conditioning housing 11 from the door 30 provided in the floor duct 15, the door 14 provided in the air conditioning housing 11 can be referred to as a first door, and the door 30 provided in the floor duct 15 can be referred to as a duct door or a second door. In addition, an example in which the door 30 is provided in the floor duct 15 has been described, but the present application is not necessarily limited thereto. For example, the door 30 can be provided in a housing of the vehicle heating device 1.
[0097] Figure 3 and Figure 4 is a view showing a vehicle heating device connected to an air conditioning device for a vehicle according to an embodiment, Figure 5a is a view showing a state in which the vehicle heating device heats an ankle side of an occupant according to an embodiment, and Figure 5b is a view showing a state in which the vehicle heating device heats a shin side of an occupant according to an embodiment. In Figure 3 and Figure 4 , the X direction can denote a vehicle width direction, the Y direction can denote a front / rear direction of a vehicle body, and the Z direction can denote an upward / downward direction or a vertical direction.
[0098] Referring to Figure 3 and Figure 4 , the vehicle heating device 1 can be provided at two opposite sides based on the air conditioning housing 11. For example, for an occupant on a driver seat and an occupant on a front passenger seat, at least two vehicle heating devices 1 can be provided at two opposite sides of the air conditioning housing 11 based on the vehicle width direction. The vehicle heating device can be provided to be adjacent to the driver seat or the front passenger seat at a predetermined interval from the occupant.
[0099] In addition, the vehicle heating device 1 can be detachably provided in the floor duct 15, and thus maintenance is easy.
[0100] In addition, the vehicle heating device 1 can be rotatably provided in the floor duct 15 and adjust a heating angle. Accordingly, the vehicle heating device 1 can improve performance and quality of heating an occupant.
[0101] As shown in Figure 5a , the vehicle heating device 1 can be rotated and heat an ankle side of an occupant. As shown in Figure 5b , the vehicle heating device 1 can be rotated and heat a shin side of an occupant.
[0102] Figure 6 is a perspective view showing a vehicle heating device according to an embodiment, Figure 7is a bottom perspective view illustrating a vehicle heating device according to an embodiment, Figure 8 is an exploded perspective view illustrating a vehicle heating device according to an embodiment.
[0103] Referring to Figure 6 to Figure 8 , the vehicle heating device 1 can include a housing 100 provided with one side to communicate with the floor duct 15 and a heating unit 200 provided in an opening of the housing 100. In addition, the vehicle heating device 1 can include a support member 300 provided between the housing 100 and the heating unit 200 and configured to support the heating unit 200. In addition, the vehicle heating device 1 can further include a cover 400 provided at a lower side of the vehicle heating device, which is one side of the heating unit 200, to prevent the heating unit 200 from being in contact with a human body or an object. In this case, the housing 100, the support member 300, and the cover 400 can define an external shape of the vehicle heating device 1.
[0104] The vehicle heating device 1 can be individually connected to an end of the floor duct 15 by means of a structure such as the housing 100. Accordingly, the vehicle heating device 1 can implement a detachable and rotatable structure, which makes it possible to improve the quality of heating a passenger and makes it easy to perform maintenance.
[0105] Alternatively, the vehicle heating device 1 can be implemented such that only the heating unit 200 radiating heat is installed at the end of the floor duct 15. Accordingly, the vehicle heating device 1 can secure a vehicle interior space by implementing a compact size.
[0106] The housing 100 can be connected and communicated with the floor duct 15. In this case, one side of the housing 100 can be detachably and rotatably provided in the floor duct 15. Accordingly, the housing 100 can serve as a moving passage of air such that air can flow from the floor duct 15 to the heating unit 200.
[0107] In this case, an example in which the housing 100 is individually, detachably, and rotatably installed in the floor duct 15 has been described, but the present application is not necessarily limited thereto. For example, the housing 100 can be provided as a part of the floor duct 15. That is, the housing 100 and the floor duct 15 can be integrated. When the housing and the floor duct are integrated, attachment / detachment and rotation of the housing 100 can be limited.
[0108] Figure 9 is an exploded perspective view illustrating a housing of a vehicle heating device according to an embodiment. Figure 10a and Figure 10b is a view illustrating one embodiment of a guide provided in a housing of a vehicle heating device according to an embodiment, in which Figure 10a is a view illustrating one embodiment of a guide, Figure 10bis a view showing the flow of air guided by the guide according to the embodiment. Figure 11a and Figure 11b is a view showing another embodiment of the guide provided in the case of the vehicle heating device according to the embodiment, wherein Figure 11a is a view showing another embodiment of the guide, Figure 11b is a view showing the flow of air guided by the guide according to another embodiment. Figure 10b and Figure 11b The arrows shown in
[0109] Referring to Figure 9 , the case 100 can include a duct portion 110 connected to the floor duct 15 and configured to communicate with the floor duct 15, and a guide 120 configured to guide air discharged through the duct portion 110. In this case, the case 100 can have various shapes made by injection molding of a synthetic resin material such as plastic. Further, the case 100 can be referred to as a first case or an outer case.
[0110] The duct portion 110 can guide air supplied through the floor duct 15. Further, one side of the duct portion 110 can be provided to communicate with the floor duct 15, and an opening 111 can be formed at the other side of the duct portion such that air can be discharged.
[0111] The guide 120 can be provided in the opening 111. In this case, the guide 120 can be referred to as an air flow guide or a first guide.
[0112] Referring to Figure 9 , Figure 10a and Figure 10b , the guide 120 can include a guide body 121 and a plurality of holes formed through the guide body 121. Further, the guide 120 can further include a guide protrusion 124 configured to guide air discharged through the holes.
[0113] The guide body 121 can be provided in the form of a plate and formed by injection molding of a synthetic resin material such as plastic. As shown in Figure 9 , Figure 10a and Figure 10b , an example in which the guide body 121 is formed in a rectangular shape is described, but the present application is not necessarily limited thereto.
[0114] The plurality of holes can have various shapes in consideration of the discharge amount and discharge position of air guided by the duct portion 110.
[0115] The guide protrusion 124 can protrude from the guide body 121 in the discharge direction of the air. For example, the guide protrusion 124 can protrude toward the heating unit 200.
[0116] Referring to Figure 10a and Figure 10b , the plurality of holes can include a first hole 122 and a second hole 123. The first hole 122 and the second hole 123 can be formed in the guide body 121 and have different shapes and areas. Accordingly, the air discharged through the first hole 122 and the air discharged through the second hole 123 can be different in terms of a discharge location and a discharge amount.
[0117] For example, the area of the first hole 122 can be greater than the area of the second hole 123. The second hole 123 can be disposed closer to the air-conditioner housing 11 than the first hole 122. As Figure 10b indicated, the second hole 123 can be disposed farther from the guide protrusion 124 than the first hole 122.
[0118] Further, two first holes 122 can be disposed adjacent to each other. In this case, the two first holes 122 can be symmetrically disposed with respect to the guide protrusion 124. That is, the guide protrusion 124 can be disposed between the two first holes 122. Accordingly, the guide protrusion 124 can separate and guide the air discharged through the two first holes 122.
[0119] Accordingly, the housing 100 can improve the air conditioning quality of the occupant by having the first hole 122 and the second hole 123 with different areas. As Figure 10b indicated, the first hole 122, the second hole 123, and the guide protrusion 124 can guide a large amount of heated air toward the foot side, which feels cold air more than other body parts. Accordingly, the arrangement and shape of the holes of the vehicle heating device 1 can improve the heating quality, such as the thermal feeling of the occupant, among the air conditioning quality.
[0120] Referring to Figure 11a and Figure 11b , the plurality of holes can include a third hole 125 and a fourth hole 126 having different areas. The third hole 125 and the fourth hole 126 can have different shapes and areas. Accordingly, the air discharged through the third hole 125 and the air discharged through the fourth hole 126 can be different in terms of a discharge location and a discharge amount. However, the arrangement of the third hole 125 and the fourth hole 126 can allow the housing 100 to uniformly discharge air.
[0121] For example, the area of the third hole 125 can be greater than the area of the fourth hole 126. The fourth hole 126 can be disposed closer to the air conditioning housing 11 than the third hole 125. In this case, a plurality of third holes 125 can be disposed in the guide body 121 and spaced apart from each other. In this case, the number of the third holes 125 can be greater than the number of the first holes 122. The third holes 125 can have a smaller area than the first holes 122. In addition, the fourth hole 126 can have a greater area than the second hole 123.
[0122] Accordingly, by the housing 100 in which the shapes and areas of the third holes 125 and the fourth hole 126 are defined while considering the resistance of air, uniform flow of air can be achieved. As shown in FIG. 1, uniform flow of air can be achieved by the guide 120 having the third holes 125 and the fourth hole 126. Figure 11b
[0123] The heating unit 200 can heat air guided by the housing 100 by using a heating element that generates heat by using electric power. For example, the heating element can be a PTC element, but the present application is not necessarily limited thereto.
[0124] The heating unit 200 can raise the temperature of air heated by the heater 13, thereby minimizing heat loss caused by the floor duct 15 having a predetermined length. For example, the heater 13 heats air to about 40 degrees lower than the heating temperature at which air is heated in the related art. Accordingly, heat loss caused by the floor duct 15 can be minimized.
[0125] In addition, the heating unit 200 can directly heat an occupant by using radiant energy of heat from the heating element.
[0126] Figure 12 FIG. 2 is an exploded perspective view showing a heating unit of a vehicle heating apparatus according to an embodiment.
[0127] Referring to FIG. 2, Figure 12 The heating unit 200 can include a frame 210, a planar heating element 220 disposed on the frame 210 and configured to generate heat, and a fixing member 230 coupled to the frame 210 and configured to fix the heating element 220 to the frame 210.
[0128] The frame 210 can be formed in a two-rod shape disposed spaced apart from each other and formed by injection molding of a synthetic resin material such as plastic. In this case, an example in which the frame 210 is disposed in a two-rod shape has been described, but the present application is not necessarily limited thereto. For example, the frame 210 can be formed in a quadrangular shape such as a window frame.
[0129] The heating element 220 can be formed into a thin, planar shape, such as paper. Therefore, the heating element 220 can be flexible and is referred to as a heating film.
[0130] Therefore, the heating element 220 can have a two-layer structure by bending at least one region. Thus, a plurality of heating elements 222 can be arranged in a predetermined space within the heating element 220 with the two-layer structure, which improves the heating performance of the heating element 220. In this case, the heating elements 222 can be arranged vertically to correspond to the airflow. For example, the heating elements 222 can be arranged in the direction of airflow, or arranged to face the airflow.
[0131] The fixing member 230 can fix the heating element 220 to the frame 210.
[0132] like Figure 12 As shown, the heating element 220 can be fixed to the frame 210 using rod-shaped fixing members 230 connected to the upper and lower parts of the frame 210, but the invention is not limited to this. For example, the heating element 220 can be fixed to the frame 210 using fixing members 230 such as adhesives.
[0133] Figure 13 This is a diagram illustrating a first embodiment of a heating element disposed in the heating unit of a vehicle heating device according to the embodiment. Figure 14 This is a diagram illustrating a second embodiment of a heating element disposed in the heating unit of a vehicle heating device according to the embodiment, and Figure 15 This is a diagram illustrating the airflow through the housing and heating element of a vehicle heating device according to an embodiment. In this case, according to Figure 13 The heating element in the first embodiment shown may be referred to as the first heating element, and according to Figure 14 The heating element of the second embodiment shown may be referred to as the second heating element.
[0134] Reference Figure 13 and Figure 14 The heating element 220 may include: a body 221 with a plane having a plurality of ventilation holes 221a; a heating element 222 mounted on the body 221; and a first electrode 223 and a second electrode 224 disposed on the body 221 and configured to apply power to the heating element 222.
[0135] The main body 221 can be formed in a planar shape. For example, the main body 221 can be formed in a membrane shape.
[0136] Further, the body 221 can include a plurality of ventilation holes 221a formed through the body. Accordingly, air supplied into the housing 100 can be discharged by being guided by the ventilation holes 221a. In this case, the ventilation holes 221a can have various shapes in consideration of the structure of the frame 210 and air conditioning quality, and be referred to as body ventilation holes. Further, the body 221 can be referred to as a first body or a heating element body.
[0137] The heating portion 222 can radiate heat by using power applied through the first electrode 223 and the second electrode 224. Further, the heating portion 222 can be formed in a planar shape. In this case, the power can be controlled by the control unit.
[0138] In addition, the heating portion 222 can be formed on the body 221 by printing using a carbon-based ink having resistance. Alternatively, the heating portion 222 can be formed on the body 221 by forming a planar heating pattern on a thin film material made of metal by means of etching. Alternatively, the heating portion 222 can be formed by arranging a heating element such as a PTC element on the body 221. Accordingly, the heating portion 222 can be referred to as a heating pattern or a heating element.
[0139] In addition, the heating portion 222 can be disposed adjacent to the ventilation hole 221a. In this case, the configuration in which the heating portion is adjacent to the ventilation hole can mean that the heating portion is in contact with the ventilation hole or is spaced apart from the ventilation hole at a predetermined interval.
[0140] As Figure 13 illustrated, the ventilation hole 221a can be disposed between the heating portions 222. In this case, the ventilation hole 221a and the heating portions 222 can be disposed between the first electrode 223 and the second electrode 224. Specifically, the ventilation hole 221a and the heating portions 222 can be alternately disposed between the first electrode 223 and the second electrode 224 in a first direction.
[0141] Alternatively, as Figure 14 illustrated, the ventilation hole 221a and the heating portions 222 can be disposed to be spaced apart from each other at a predetermined interval with the electrodes 223 and 224 interposed therebetween. For example, the first electrode 223 or the second electrode 224 can be disposed between the ventilation hole 221a and the heating portions 222 based on a second direction. In this case, the first direction and the second direction can be defined as directions perpendicular to each other in a plan view. In this case, the second direction can be a vehicle width direction.
[0142] The first electrode 223 and the second electrode 224 can apply power to the heating portion 222. In this case, the first electrode 223 can be a (+) electrode, and the second electrode 224 can be a (-) electrode.
[0143] In addition, the first electrode 223 and the second electrode 224 can be electrically connected to one side and the other side of the heat generating part 222.
[0144] Referring to Figure 13 and Figure 14 The heating element 220 can achieve various shapes through the flexible structure of the main body 221 and the size, shape, and arrangement position of the vent hole 221a, the heat generating part 222, and the electrodes 223 and 224. Accordingly, it is possible to improve the design freedom of the heating element 220.
[0145] Referring to Figure 15 The vehicle heating apparatus 1 can heat the inside of the vehicle by thermal convection by heating air and discharging the air, which flows into the housing 100 through the heating element 220 of the heating unit 200 and then passes through the heating unit 200.
[0146] In addition, the vehicle heating apparatus 1 can directly heat the occupant by radiant heat generated by the heating element 220 of the heating unit 200.
[0147] Meanwhile, the heating unit 200 can include a detector 240 configured to detect overheating of the heating element 220. In this case, the detector 240 can be coupled to the heating element 220 of the laminated shape. In this case, the detector 240 can be referred to as an overheating sensing part.
[0148] The detector 240 can detect overheating of a partial portion of the heating element 220 or the entire heating element 220.
[0149] The detector 240 detects an abnormality of the heating element 220 heated to a preset temperature or higher. Accordingly, the vehicle heating apparatus 1 can cut off the application of power to the heating element 220. For example, the control unit can detect an abnormality of the heating element 220 by using the detector 240, and cut off the application of power to the heating element 220, thereby preventing overheating of the heating element 220. For example, the detector 240 can detect a change in resistance according to the temperature of the heating element 220. Based on the change in resistance, the control unit can prevent overheating of the heating element 220 by cutting off the application of power to the heating element 220.
[0150] Figure 16 FIG. 4 is a view illustrating an arrangement relationship of a heating element and a detector of a vehicle heating apparatus according to an embodiment.
[0151] Referring to Figure 16 The detector 240 can include a main body 241 and a wire 242 disposed on the main body 241. In this case, the main body 241 can be referred to as a second main body or a detector main body.
[0152] The main body 241 may be formed in a planar shape and include a plurality of ventilation holes 241a formed through the main body 241. Furthermore, the ventilation holes 241a of the detector 240 may be configured as ventilation holes 221a facing the heating element 220. In this case, the main body 241 may be an FPCB. Additionally, the ventilation holes 241a of the detector 240 may be referred to as third ventilation holes or detector ventilation holes, and are formed in a shape corresponding to the ventilation holes 221a of the heating element 220.
[0153] Furthermore, the body 241 of the detector 240 may be configured to contact a surface of the body 221 of the heating element 220.
[0154] Line 242 can be disposed on one surface of the body 241. Furthermore, line 242 can be electrically connected to the control unit. In this case, since line 242 can be disposed on the body 241 by printing, the line can be referred to as a printed layer.
[0155] The resistance value of line 242 can be changed by the heat generated by heating element 220. Therefore, the control unit can protect heating element 220 by cutting off the application of power to heating element 220 based on the difference between the resistance values.
[0156] For example, the heat generated by the heating element 220 can change the thickness, width, and length of the wire 242, or break the wire 242. Therefore, the control unit can measure the resistance value of the wire 242 before and after deformation. When the difference between the resistance values exceeds or deviates from a preset value, the control unit can protect the heating element 220 by cutting off the power applied to the heating element 220.
[0157] like Figure 16 As shown, line 242 can be configured as a loop line, and the arrangement of the loop line 242 makes it very easy to perform numerical detection of the resistance value.
[0158] In this case, considering sensitivity, line 242 can be made of a metallic material with low resistance. The metallic material can be any one of aluminum (Al), copper (Cu), silver (Ag), chromium (Cr), molybdenum (Mo), aluminum-neodymium (AlNd), molybdenum-titanium (MoTi), and alloys containing at least one of these metallic materials. Furthermore, line 242 can be referred to as a strain gauge line.
[0159] Meanwhile, the vehicle heating device 1 can also improve heating performance and quality by implementing various arrangement structures, such as a structure in which multiple heating elements 220 are arranged to be spaced apart from each other in one direction.
[0160] Figure 17 This is a diagram showing the arrangement of heating elements in a vehicle heating device according to an embodiment. Figure 17The solid arrows shown in the middle can represent the flow of air, and the dashed arrows can represent heat radiated from the heating elements.
[0161] Referring to Figure 12 and Figure 17 , the vehicle heating device 1 can include a housing 100 and a heating unit 200 disposed in an opening of the housing 100.
[0162] Further, the heating unit 200 of the vehicle heating device 1 can include a frame 210, at least two heating elements 220 disposed on the frame 210 to be spaced apart from each other in one direction to define a plurality of heat exchange regions, and a fixing member 230 coupled to the frame 210 and configured to prevent the heating elements 220 from being separated from the frame 210. In this case, the at least two heating elements 220 can be mounted on the frame 210 and spaced apart from each other at a predetermined interval, thereby defining an exchange region in which heat radiated from the heating elements 220 exchanges heat with air.
[0163] In this case, Figure 13 and Figure 14 The planar heating elements 220 shown can be spaced apart from each other in the flow direction of air or the upward / downward direction and disposed in two layers, and the heating elements 220 can include an upper heating element 220a and a lower heating element 220b defined based on the arrangement position. Accordingly, heat radiated from the upper heating element 220a and heat radiated from the lower heating element 220b can exchange heat with air passing through the heating unit 200 in the heat exchange regions.
[0164] Referring to Figure 17 , based on the flow direction of air formed in the vehicle heating device 1, the heat exchange regions can include a first heat exchange region A1 formed at a front end of the upper heating element 220a, and a second heat exchange region A2 formed between the upper heating element 220a and the lower heating element 220b.
[0165] The first heat exchange region A1 can be a region in which radiant heat radiated from the heat generating part 222 of the upper heating element 220a exchanges heat with air flowing along the duct part 110 of the housing 100. Accordingly, the first heat exchange region A1 can be formed in the duct part 110 and referred to as a preheating region.
[0166] The second heat exchange area A2 can be formed between the upper heating element 220a and the lower heating element 220b and in the frame 210 based on the flow direction of the air. In this case, the upper heating element 220a and the lower heating element 220b can be disposed outside the frame 210. Accordingly, the air flowing between the upper heating element 220a and the lower heating element 220b can exchange heat with the radiation heat radiated from the heat generating portion 222 of the upper heating element 220a and the radiation heat radiated from the heat generating portion 222 of the lower heating element 220b. Specifically, the air that has passed through the ventilation hole 221a of the upper heating element 220a can exchange heat with the radiation heat from the upper heating element 220a and the lower heating element 220b while being mixed with the radiation heat in the second heat exchange area A2 before passing through the ventilation hole 221a of the lower heating element 220b.
[0167] In addition, the ventilation hole 221a of the upper heating element 220a and the ventilation hole 221a of the lower heating element 220b are arranged in a staggered manner based on the flow direction of the air, thereby improving the heating performance. For example, the ventilation hole 221a of the upper heating element 220a and the heat generating portion 222 of the lower heating element 220b are disposed to overlap each other in one direction (the flow direction of the air or the upward / downward direction), so that the air that has passed through the ventilation hole 221a of the upper heating element 220a can flow along the heat generating portion 222 of the lower heating element 220b, thereby further increasing the time for which the air stays in the second heat exchange area A2.
[0168] In addition, the heat generating portion 222 of the upper heating element 220a can be disposed to overlap the ventilation hole 221a of the lower heating element 220b in one direction, thereby improving the heat radiation performance. Accordingly, it is possible to improve the heating efficiency and performance of the vehicle heating device 1.
[0169] Meanwhile, the ventilation hole 221a of the upper heating element 220a and the ventilation hole 221a of the lower heating element 220b can have different shapes, thereby further increasing the time for which the air stays in the second heat exchange area A2. For example, a stay portion (not shown) such as a protrusion can be formed in the ventilation hole 221a of the lower heating element 220b and cause a turbulent flow, thereby further increasing the time for which the air stays in the second heat exchange area A2.
[0170] Alternatively, the heat generating portion 222 of the upper heating element 220a and the ventilation hole 221a of the lower heating element 220b can be disposed to overlap each other in one direction (the flow direction of the air or the upward / downward direction).
[0171] Meanwhile, the upper heating element 220a and the lower heating element 220b can be controlled by a control unit. For example, the control unit can adjust the heating performance by controlling the power applied to the upper heating element 220a and the lower heating element 220b.
[0172] In addition, both the upper heating element 220a and the lower heating element 220b can be formed by bending a heating element.
[0173] Figure 18 This is a diagram illustrating the airflow through the housing and heating element of a vehicle heating device according to an embodiment. Figure 19 This is a diagram illustrating the heat exchange performed by the heating element of the vehicle heating device according to an embodiment, and Figure 20 This diagram illustrates a third embodiment of a heating element disposed in the heating unit of a vehicle heating device according to the embodiment. In this case, Figure 18 The solid arrows shown can represent airflow. Furthermore, Figure 19 The dashed arrows shown represent heat radiated from the heating element. Furthermore, Figure 20 The line L shown can represent a folded line.
[0174] Figure 18 and Figure 19 The heating element shown is Figure 17 The difference in the heating elements shown lies in the arrangement of the heating element 222 of the upper heating element 220a. For example, the difference is that... Figure 18 and Figure 19 The heating element 222 of the upper heating element 220a shown points towards the first heat exchange zone A1. Figure 17 The heating element 222 of the upper heating element 220a shown points towards the second heat exchange zone A2. That is, as Figure 18 and Figure 19 As shown, the main body 221 of the upper heating element 220a may include a first surface disposed facing the lower heating element 220b and a second surface opposite to the first surface. The heating part 222 of the upper heating element 220a may be disposed on the second surface and face the air supplied to the heating unit 200.
[0175] therefore, Figure 18 and Figure 19 The heating element 222 of the upper heating element 220a shown can be defined by considering heat exchange in the first heat exchange zone A1 as important, and provides a connection with... Figure 17 The heating element 222 of the upper heating element 220a shown has different heating qualities.
[0176] Reference Figure 18 and Figure 19 Based on the airflow direction formed in the vehicle heating device 1, the heat exchange zone may include a first heat exchange zone A1 formed at the front end of the upper heating element 220a and a second heat exchange zone A2 formed between the upper heating element 220a and the lower heating element 220b.
[0177] Furthermore, the ventilation hole 221a of the upper heating element 220a and the heating element 222 of the lower heating element 220b can be arranged to overlap each other in one direction (the direction of airflow or the upward / downward direction). Additionally, the heating element 222 of the upper heating element 220a can be arranged to overlap with the ventilation hole 221a of the lower heating element 220b in one direction, thereby improving heat radiation performance. Therefore, the heating efficiency and performance of the vehicle heating device 1 can be improved.
[0178] In addition, the ventilation holes 221a of the upper heating element 220a and the ventilation holes 221a of the lower heating element 220b can have different shapes, thereby further increasing the time that air stays in the second heat exchange zone A2.
[0179] Meanwhile, the heating element 222 of the upper heating element 220a and the ventilation hole 221a of the lower heating element 220b can be arranged to overlap each other in one direction (the direction of air flow or the upward / downward direction).
[0180] Reference Figure 18 to Figure 20 In the heating element according to the third embodiment, the upper heating element 220a and the lower heating element 220b can be formed by bending a portion of the wire L of a heating element 220. In this case, the heating element according to the third embodiment can be referred to as the third heating element.
[0181] For example, by punching out multiple ventilation holes 221a in the body 221 of a heating element 220, providing multiple heating elements 222, and then bending the curved areas where no ventilation holes 221a or heating elements 222 are provided, it is possible to achieve... Figure 18 and Figure 19 The upper heating element 220a and the lower heating element 220b are shown. In this case, the area of the third heating element with the vent 221a and the heating element 222 can be referred to as the active area, and the curved area can be referred to as the non-active area that can be distinguished from the active area. Therefore, the heating element 220 can include: two active areas in which the heating element is disposed; and a non-active area disposed between the two active areas. The non-active area can be configured to face a surface of the frame 210. Specifically, the non-active area can be in contact with a surface of the frame 210 by a fixing member 230 such as an adhesive.
[0182] Therefore, as Figure 18 and Figure 19 As shown, the heating element 222 provided on the upper heating element 220a can be disposed on the inner surface of the upper side of the pipe section 110 and heat the air flowing through the pipe section 110. In addition, the heating element 222 provided on the lower heating element 220b can be disposed on the lower side of the main body 221 and directly heat the occupants.
[0183] In this case, such as Figure 20 As shown, the third heating element may include a single first electrode 223 and a single second electrode 224 disposed on the main body 221.
[0184] At the same time, such as Figure 18 and Figure 19 As shown, an example has been described in which the heating portions 222 of the upper heating element 220a and the lower heating element 220b, formed by using a single body 221, are arranged in different directions; however, the invention is not limited to this. For example, the heating portions 222 may be arranged on a portion of one surface of the body 221 and a portion of another surface of the body 221, and then the body 221 may be bent such that the heating portions 222 of the upper heating element 220a and the lower heating element 220b may be arranged to point in the same direction.
[0185] Figure 21 This is a diagram illustrating another embodiment of the heating element according to the third embodiment, which is disposed in the heating unit of the vehicle heating device according to the embodiment.
[0186] like Figure 21 As shown, the main body 221 may have a plurality of first ventilation holes 221a-1 and a plurality of second ventilation holes 221a-2. In this case, the first ventilation holes 221a-1 and the second ventilation holes 221a-2 have different shapes and sizes. In this case, the first ventilation holes 221a-1 may be provided on either the upper heating element 220a or the lower heating element 220b, and the second ventilation holes 221a-2 may be provided on the other one of the upper heating element 220a and the lower heating element 220b.
[0187] therefore, Figure 21 The heating element 222 shown and Figure 20 The heating element 222 shown can be configured differently, which allows for various heating performances of the heating element 220.
[0188] Meanwhile, since a single first electrode 223 and a single second electrode 224 are disposed on a single body 221 in the third heating element, it is difficult to control the upper heating element 220a and the lower heating element 220b separately.
[0189] Therefore, either the first electrode 223 or the second electrode 224 can be configured as two separate electrodes, and the two separate electrodes can be respectively disposed on the upper heating element 220a and the lower heating element 220b, thereby improving heating quality and efficiency.
[0190] Figure 22is a view showing a fourth embodiment of a heating element provided in a heating unit of a vehicle heating device according to an embodiment, Figure 23 is a view showing an electrical connection relationship between a heating element and a control unit according to the fourth embodiment of the vehicle heating device according to an embodiment. In this case, Figure 22 The line L shown in FIG. 4A can represent a folding line.
[0191] In the heating element according to the fourth embodiment, the upper heating element 220a and the lower heating element 220b can be formed by bending a portion of the line L of one heating element 220. In this case, the heating element according to the fourth embodiment can be referred to as a fourth heating element.
[0192] The heating element according to the fourth embodiment differs from the heating element according to the third embodiment in that the heating element according to the fourth embodiment has two first electrodes 223.
[0193] Referring to Figure 22 , the heating element according to the fourth embodiment can include a planar main body 221 having a plurality of ventilation holes 221a, a heat generating portion 222 mounted on the main body 221, and two first electrodes 223 and a single second electrode 224 provided on the main body 221 to apply electric power to the heat generating portion 222. In this case, the first electrodes 223 can include an upper first electrode 223a and a lower first electrode 223b.
[0194] Referring to Figure 22 and Figure 23 , the upper first electrode 223a and the lower first electrode 223b can be electrically connected to the control unit. In this case, the second electrode 224 can also be electrically connected to the control unit. For example, the control unit can be electrically connected to the upper first electrode 223a through an upper first electrode connection line L1. Also, the control unit can be electrically connected to the lower first electrode 223b through a lower first electrode connection line L2. Also, the control unit can be electrically connected to the second electrode 224 through a second electrode connection line L3.
[0195] Accordingly, the control unit can control the performance and quality of heating according to circumstances by applying power to at least any one of the upper first electrode 223a provided on the upper heating element 220a and the lower first electrode 223b provided on the lower heating element 220b. That is, the control unit can control the performance and quality of heating the interior of the vehicle by selectively applying power to the upper first electrode 223a and the lower first electrode 223b or cutting off the application of power to the upper first electrode 223a and the lower first electrode 223b. For example, the control unit can apply power to both the upper first electrode 223a and the lower first electrode 223b to perform heating using both radiant heat and convective heat. In addition, when heating is performed using only radiant heat, the control unit can apply power only to the lower first electrode 223b.
[0196] The support member 300 can be disposed on a lower portion of the housing 100 and support the heating unit 200. In this case, the support member 300 can be formed in a container shape having one side and the other side communicating with each other so that air flowing along the housing 100 can be discharged. Accordingly, the heating unit 200 can be disposed on a lower portion of the support member 300.
[0197] In addition, the support member 300 can be formed by injection molding of a synthetic resin material such as plastic.
[0198] The cover 400 can prevent the heating unit 200 from being directly contacted with a human body or an object. As shown in Figure 5a and Figure 5b The cover 400 can be disposed to cover one side of the heating unit 200.
[0199] The cover 400 can be disposed at a lower side of the heating unit 200 which is one side of the heating unit 200. The cover 400 can be coupled to the support member 300 and prevent separation of the heating unit 200. For example, the cover 400 can be coupled to the support member 300 by using a hook coupled to a protrusion formed on a lateral surface of the support member 300.
[0200] As shown in Figure 7 The cover 400 can be formed in a lattice shape.
[0201] Figure 24 FIG. 1 is a view showing a vehicle heating apparatus according to an embodiment including a heating portion.
[0202] Referring to Figure 24 , the vehicle heating apparatus 1 can further include a heating portion 500.
[0203] The heating portion 500 can be provided on one surface of the inside of the duct portion 110 and heat air flowing along the inside of the duct portion 110. Accordingly, the heating portion 500 can function as an auxiliary heater and also reduce the temperature of air heated by the heater 13, thereby also minimizing heat loss through the floor duct 15. In addition, using the heating portion 500 can reduce the size of the heater 13, which can also reduce the size of the air conditioning unit 10 in which the heater 13 is provided. Accordingly, the heating portion 500 of the vehicle heating apparatus 1 can improve the design freedom of the interior of the vehicle.
[0204] In addition, the heating portion 500 can include a base portion 510 provided on one surface of the inside of the duct portion 110 and a heat generating portion 520 provided on the base portion. The heat generating portion 520 can receive power through an electrode or the like, and the power can be controlled by the control unit. Accordingly, the heating portion 500 of the vehicle heating apparatus 1 can improve the heating capacity.
[0205] Meanwhile, the heating portion 500 can be provided on the duct portion 110 by using a coupling member (not shown). Alternatively, the heating portion 500 can be formed by forming the heat generating portion 520 on one surface of the inside of the duct portion 110 and an electrode electrically connected to the heat generating portion 520.
[0206] In addition, the heating portion 500 can be electrically connected to the control unit and controlled by the control unit.
[0207] Figure 25 to Figure 27 FIG. 1 is a diagram illustrating a vehicle heating apparatus according to an embodiment, Figure 25 FIG. 2 is a diagram illustrating a maximum heating mode of the vehicle heating apparatus according to an embodiment, Figure 26 FIG. 3 is a diagram illustrating a mild heating mode of the vehicle heating apparatus according to an embodiment, and Figure 27 FIG. 4 is a diagram illustrating a radiation mode of the vehicle heating apparatus according to an embodiment.
[0208] Referring to Figure 25 , the heater 13 of the air conditioning unit 10, the blower unit 20, and the heating unit 200 of the vehicle heating apparatus 1 can be in an on state and heat air supplied by the blower unit 20. In this case, the door 30 provided in the floor duct 15 is in an open state. In this case, the on state can mean a state in which the corresponding components are operated by receiving power. In addition, the heater 13 of the air conditioning unit 10, the blower unit 20, the door 30, and the heating unit 200 of the vehicle heating apparatus 1 can be controlled by the control unit.
[0209] For example, the air supplied into the air conditioning unit 10 by the blower unit 20 can be primarily heated by the heater 13, secondarily heated by the vehicle heating device 1, and then discharged to the interior of the vehicle. Accordingly, in the maximum heating mode, the interior of the vehicle can be maximally heated. The operating condition of the maximum heating mode can be a condition in which the temperature of the outside air is lower than zero degrees 20 degrees or the temperature of the interior of the vehicle reaches 15 degrees.
[0210] Referring to Figure 26 , the blower unit 20 and the heating unit 200 of the vehicle heating device 1 can be in an on state and heat the air supplied by the blower unit 20, in which case the heater 13 of the air conditioning unit 10 is in an off state and the door 30 provided in the floor duct 15 is in an open state. In this case, the off state can mean a state in which a component does not operate when power is applied to the component is cut off.
[0211] For example, the air can be supplied to the vehicle heating device 1 by the blower unit 20 through the interior of the air conditioning unit 10 and the floor duct 15. In addition, the air can be heated by the vehicle heating device 1 and discharged to the interior of the vehicle. Accordingly, the interior of the vehicle can be heated in the mild heating mode. The operating condition of the mild heating mode can be a condition in which the temperature of the outside air in the range of 5 to 10 degrees above zero or the temperature of the interior of the vehicle reaches 15 degrees after the maximum heating mode.
[0212] Referring to Figure 27 , the heating portion 500 of the vehicle heating device 1 can be in an on state and provide heating using radiant heat. In this case, the blower unit 20 and the heater 13 of the air conditioning unit 10 are in an off state and the door 30 provided in the floor duct 15 is in a closed state.
[0213] For example, since the blower unit 20 does not operate and the door 30 is in a closed state, the supply of air to the vehicle heating device 1 can be cut off. Accordingly, in the radiant heating mode, the interior of the vehicle can be heated only by the vehicle heating device 1. According to the operating condition of the radiant mode, the vehicle heating device 1 can operate when a cold start is performed on the vehicle, when the vehicle is initially operated at an extremely low temperature of 20 degrees below zero or less, when the temperature of the interior of the vehicle reaches a preset temperature, or when a passenger makes a selection.
[0214] Although the present application has been described above with reference to exemplary embodiments, it will be understood by those skilled in the art that various modifications and changes can be made thereto without departing from the spirit and scope of the application, which are defined by the appended claims.
