Abstract

The present application provides an article conveying device. The article conveying device (1) is provided with a moving body (2), a cover portion (3), a transfer mechanism (4), and a control portion (5); the transfer mechanism is provided with: a holding portion (10) capable of changing states to a holding state of holding an article (W) and a release state of releasing the holding of the article; a rotation portion (20) that rotates the holding portion around a rotation axis (4b) along the up-down direction; and a moving portion (30) that moves the holding portion between an internal position in a housing area (S) and an external position outside the housing area; the control portion, in a maintenance mode, in a case where an operation terminal has accepted an action instruction of the transfer mechanism, in a case where the rotation angle of the holding portion is within a non-interference angle range, executes the action of the transfer mechanism according to the action instruction, in a case where the rotation angle of the holding portion is an angle outside the non-interference angle range or the rotation angle of the holding portion is unknown, causes the operation terminal to issue and notify error information.
