Abstract

This invention relates to a welding process apparatus and method for assembling a spherical fuel distributor for a launch vehicle. The apparatus includes an inlet flange base, an adjustable positioning block for the inlet flange, an inner positioning support for the outlet flange, a positioning plate block for the outlet flange, a positioning plate for the outlet flange, and an outer positioning support for the return flange. The inlet flange base serves as a reference surface. The adjustable positioning block, the inner positioning support, and the outer positioning support are mounted on the inlet flange base. The positioning plate, the inner positioning support, and the positioning plate block cooperate to position the outlet flange for welding. During assembly, the inlet flange is first installed on the inlet flange base, and the adjustable positioning block is pressed against the inner wall of the inlet flange. Next, the spherical shell is assembled; then, the outlet flange and the return flange are assembled. This invention allows for the simultaneous assembly and positioning of multiple flanges, effectively improving production efficiency while controlling the welding accuracy of the product.
