Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] This invention relates to the field of air conditioning, and more specifically to a cross-flow fan and an indoor air conditioning unit including the cross-flow fan. Background Technology
[0002] After prolonged use, air conditioners accumulate a lot of dust on the surface of the cross-flow fan impeller. The bacteria that thrive in this dust can pollute the air blown into the room, affecting the user's health. Therefore, it is necessary to regularly remove the impeller from the air conditioner and clean it.
[0003] Existing cross-flow fans often use a bearing assembly in conjunction with a motor, suspended above the impeller to allow the impeller to rotate. The bearing assembly is mounted on the frame of the indoor unit, and a shaft that mates with the bearing assembly is located on the impeller. For example, Chinese invention patent CN111780251B discloses an indoor unit where the bearing assembly is mounted on the lower frame of the indoor unit with screws, and a shaft extending into the bearing assembly is located on the end of the impeller near the bearing assembly. When disassembling the impeller of this type of indoor unit, the bearing assembly must be removed along with the impeller, a time-consuming and labor-intensive process.
[0004] Therefore, a new technical solution is needed in this field to solve the above problems. Summary of the Invention
[0005] To improve or solve the technical problem in the prior art where the bearing assembly needs to be removed along with the impeller when disassembling the impeller, the present invention provides a cross-flow fan. The cross-flow fan includes: a bearing assembly; and an impeller, the impeller having a first end cover near the bearing assembly, a detachable shaft being disposed on the first end cover, the shaft being mated with the bearing assembly and configured to be movable along the longitudinal centerline of the impeller to disengage from the bearing assembly or the first end cover.
[0006] The cross-flow fan of this invention includes a bearing assembly and an impeller. The bearing assembly is suitable for mounting on the frame of an indoor air conditioning unit. The impeller has a first end cover and a detachable rotating shaft is disposed on the first end cover. The rotating shaft is fitted with the bearing assembly and can move closer to or further away from the bearing assembly along the longitudinal centerline of the impeller. When it is necessary to disassemble the impeller, simply remove the rotating shaft from the first end cover and move the shaft until it is disengaged from the bearing assembly or from the first end cover to release the connection between the impeller and the bearing assembly, thereby removing the impeller without disassembling the bearing assembly. Through the above-described configuration, the cross-flow fan of this invention provides a detachable structure between the rotating shaft and the first end cover, which facilitates the disengagement of the impeller from the bearing assembly, thus allowing for easy installation and removal of the impeller.
[0007] In a preferred embodiment of the cross-flow fan of the present invention, a shaft seat and a first through hole are formed on the first end cover. The shaft seat is detachably connected to the shaft and has a receiving groove for accommodating the shaft, and the shaft extends into the first through hole. Through the above arrangement, the shaft seat and the shaft are detachably connected for fixing the shaft; the shaft extending into the first through hole facilitates the shaft's disengagement from the bearing assembly and insertion into the impeller, thereby facilitating impeller disassembly.
[0008] In a preferred embodiment of the cross-flow fan of the present invention, the shaft seat is configured to extend from the first end cover into the impeller along the longitudinal centerline of the impeller. This arrangement, with the shaft seat extending from the first end cover into the impeller, allows the first end cover to fit snugly against the end of the air duct of the indoor air conditioning unit, thereby increasing the working area and airflow of the impeller.
[0009] In a preferred embodiment of the cross-flow fan of the present invention, the rotating shaft has a connecting end facing the impeller, and a first positioning plane is provided on the connecting end; a first threaded hole is formed on the circumferential wall of the rotating shaft seat, and a first set screw that matches the first threaded hole and abuts against the first positioning plane is provided in the first threaded hole. Through the above arrangement, the first positioning plane is located on the connecting end of the rotating shaft and abuts against the first set screw, which can prevent relative rotation between the rotating shaft and the rotating shaft seat. At the same time, the rotating shaft and the rotating shaft seat are connected by the first set screw, which can facilitate the fixing and disassembly of the rotating shaft and the rotating shaft seat, thereby facilitating the installation and disassembly of the impeller.
[0010] In a preferred embodiment of the cross-flow fan of the present invention, a disassembly gap is provided between the first end cover and the bearing assembly. This disassembly gap facilitates the movement of the rotating shaft, allowing it to disengage from the bearing assembly or the first end cover.
[0011] In a preferred embodiment of the cross-flow fan of the present invention, the cross-flow fan further includes a motor; the impeller further includes a second end cover opposite to the first end cover, and a bushing is provided on the second end cover to form a detachable connection with the motor shaft of the motor. A clearance groove is provided on the bushing, and the clearance groove is configured to allow the motor shaft to tilt relative to the bushing after it has been partially pulled out of the bushing. With the above configuration, the motor is adapted to be fixed on the other end of the frame away from the bearing assembly. The bushing and the motor shaft form a detachable connection so that the impeller can be removed from the indoor unit of the air conditioner without disassembling the motor. After the motor shaft has been partially pulled out of the bushing, the clearance groove allows the motor shaft to tilt relative to the bushing so that the impeller can be tilted out of the duct, thereby reducing the clearance required for impeller movement in the duct. When the cross-flow fan is operating normally, the bearing assembly, impeller, and motor form a rigid connection, and the motor drives the motor shaft to rotate, thereby driving the bushing and impeller to rotate. When the impeller needs to be removed from the indoor unit of the air conditioner, simply move the rotating shaft into the impeller to disconnect the connection between the impeller and the bearing assembly. Then, move the impeller along its length to pull the motor shaft out of the bushing. Next, lift the first end cover and pull it out of the air duct. Finally, pull the impeller away from the motor to completely detach the motor shaft from the bushing. This invention's cross-flow fan not only allows the impeller to be removed without disassembling the bearing assembly but also allows the motor shaft to be pulled out of the bushing at an angle, thus preserving as much of the impeller's working area and airflow as possible.
[0012] In a preferred embodiment of the cross-flow fan of the present invention, the bushing is configured to extend from the second end cover into the impeller along the longitudinal centerline of the impeller. A clearance groove is formed on the end of the bushing that connects to the second end cover, and an auxiliary clearance groove communicating with the clearance groove is provided on the second end cover. Through this arrangement, the bushing extends from the second end cover into the impeller, allowing the second end cover to be closer to the end of the air duct, thereby increasing the working area and airflow of the impeller. Simultaneously, the clearance groove on the bushing and the auxiliary clearance groove on the second end cover provide a larger space for the motor shaft to move when the extended end of the motor shaft is located within the clearance groove, allowing the motor shaft to tilt relative to the bushing.
[0013] In a preferred embodiment of the cross-flow fan of the present invention, a second positioning plane is provided on the extended end of the motor shaft; a second threaded hole is provided on the circumferential wall of the bushing, and a second set screw, which mates with the second threaded hole and abuts against the second positioning plane at one end, is provided in the second threaded hole. Through the above arrangement, the second positioning plane is located at the end of the motor shaft and abuts against the second set screw, preventing relative rotation between the motor shaft and the bushing. Simultaneously, the connection between the motor shaft and the bushing via the second set screw facilitates the connection and disassembly of the motor shaft and the bushing, thereby facilitating the installation and disassembly of the impeller.
[0014] In a preferred embodiment of the cross-flow fan of the present invention, the second threaded hole is arranged at the end of the bushing away from the second end cover, and the second threaded hole is connected to the clearance groove. With the above arrangement, the clearance groove is connected to the second threaded hole, making it easier to observe the position of the second positioning plane after the motor shaft extends into the bushing, so that the second positioning plane is positioned to the position of the second threaded hole, thereby facilitating the connection between the motor shaft and the bushing.
[0015] To address the aforementioned technical problems, the present invention also discloses an air conditioning indoor unit, comprising: a frame, within which a duct extending longitudinally along the frame is formed; and a cross-flow fan according to any one of the preceding claims, the cross-flow fan being mounted on the frame and the impeller of the cross-flow fan being located in the duct. By employing the cross-flow fan according to any one of the preceding claims, the present invention allows for relatively convenient disconnection between the impeller and the bearing assembly, thereby enabling the impeller to be removed without disassembling the bearing assembly, facilitating impeller disassembly.
[0016] In a preferred embodiment of the indoor unit of the air conditioner of the present invention, the air duct has a first end plate and a second end plate opposite to each other, and the impeller is arranged between the first end plate and the second end plate. With the above arrangement, the first end plate and the second end plate, serving as the end plates at both ends of the air duct, can prevent the impeller from slipping out of the air duct.
[0017] In a preferred embodiment of the indoor unit of the air conditioner of the present invention, the frame has a frame base extending between its opposite first and second ends, and a duct frame detachably connected to the frame base, the duct being formed in the duct frame; the motor of the cross-flow fan is mounted on the frame base at the first end, and the bearing assembly of the cross-flow fan is engaged with the frame base and inserted into the duct frame at the second end. The duct frame is generally located below the impeller, and therefore tends to accumulate dust. Through the above arrangement, the bearing assembly engages with the frame base and inserts into the duct frame, which not only improves the installation stability of the bearing assembly and the frame, but also enhances the connection stability between the duct frame and the frame base. The duct frame is detachably connected to the frame base, allowing the duct frame to be removed from the frame base for cleaning, preventing air pollution.
