Abstract

The invention relates to a clothes closet for a trunk of a passenger car (10), having a trunk lid (12), on the inner side (20) of which a hanger (22) is arranged, by means of which at least one item of clothing (24) can be hung in a hanging position in the case of an open trunk lid (12), and a resting mechanism (27), by means of which the at least one item of clothing (24) can be displaced from the hanging position to a resting position which is at least substantially on the underside of the inner side (20) of the trunk lid (12) and / or of the top side (44) of the trunk (10) in the case of a closed trunk lid (12).
